Retreat Paros - The Happy Apartment

Beautiful apartment, centrally located with everything we needed! Would absolutely stay here again. The restaurant recommendations were all wonderful!

The location was absolutely fantastic, we were 2 sisters travelling together and had a room and bathroom each, we had ample space in living areas, it was very central.

Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work and although staff tried their best to get it fixed, we had 5 very uncomfortable nights without much sleep. The unit was being replaced the day we left and the host was really upset she couldn't rectify the issue for us and offered compensation. The upstairs bedroom has low ceilings and no rail for the stairs which might be an issue for anyone unsteady.

Magnifique maison ! Cuisine très bien équipée, propreté faites au quotidien et de manière parfaite . La climatisation s'adapte à la température ambiente dans chaque pièce. Le parquet, la déco, le patio e l'escalier qui monte sur le toit . La literie des 2 chambres. Beaucoup de rangements dans les 2 chambres . Le plus la machine à laver le linge est un réel plus . Bref on a juste plus envie de repartir .

Veldig rent og pent, ligger sentralt og kort vei til alt. Vellutsyrt leilighet, og vertinnen var utrolig hyggelig.

Ikke mye å mislike, men badet var bitte lite, og liten uteplass.

lovely stay, very cute and comfortable apartment. Wonderful location, next to shops, restaurants, and the port! Washing machine saved us on our trip and the rooms were so spacious and comfortable. hospitality was amazing! Because we had a late ferry, they let us stay an extra 6 hours after checkout since they did not have a booking the next day! We so appreciate the hospitality and the wonderful stay.

L’emplacement dans le petit centre pavé et parfait! Proche du port pour se déplacer dans les autres îles. Parfait pour une famille de 4 personnes! L’appartement a beaucoup de charme.

Petit bémol pour la douche qui n’est vraiment pas pratique. Difficile de se doucher sans inonder la salle de bain et la température de l’eau et difficile à régler.

Bel appartement cosy où il fait bon vivre, très propre avec tous les équipements pour se sentir comme chez soi, en plus de ça idéalement situé dans une jolie petite rue du centre ville de Parikiá.

On aurait voulu rester plus longtemps!

Bedroom on ground floor had no windows - it was like a cave. Upstairs bedroom had very low ceiling - barely 1.5 meters Inability to flush toilet paper in toilets Very steep and narrow stairs to upstairs Very small bathroom on ground floor

Super hübsches Appartement mitten in der Altstadt, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, alles vorhanden was man benötigt, der Check in lief unproblematisch. Schlüssel sind hinterlegt. Die Deckenhöhe im Obergeschoss ist sehr niedrig, nicht für besonders große Personen geeignet.

Great location. Quiet but close to everything. Plenty of space for 3 people. Good air conditioning. Well decorated, good amenities and plenty of space. Daily cleaning if desired. Host representative was excellent!

Prima locatie! Op 5 min te voet van de haven, in een zijstraatje van de winkelstraat, rustig gelegen. Communicatie verliep via WhatsApp maar was prima! Heel proper en mooi appartement. Zelfs de bedden werden opgemaakt. Op 15 min te voet naar het strand. Dicht bij vele resto's en bakker.

Badkamer klein voor 4 personen. Moeilijk om al de handdoeken te laten drogen.

L apartament es fantàstic, a 5 minuts del ferry, al mig de la ciutat. Amb totes les comoditats per una família de 4. L amfitriona, en tot moment va estar accessible per qualsevol cosa.

Everything was nice

Main floor bath quite small. With no door on shower, floor got wet easily. Having extra 1/2 bath on second floor was nice touch.

Was difficult to find. Booking.com address and host google address was different. Took some time even with talking to host.

Excellent location and facilities. Very easy check-in/out. Great communication throughout.

Loved everything about this beautiful apartment

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. We only stayed a night but wished we had more time. The apartment is well maintained with two fabulous bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Paros.

It was a beautiful and clean place to stay. Loved all of the details.

Hard to find at first. No other complaints at all.

The location was perfect! We could walk to the shops and the port. You would not need/want a car! The apartment was a surprise as the street didn't look as though they would be very large. The master was huge and the bathroom in the upstairs bedroom was a plus. We quickly learned that 1st floor means up a flight of stairs! Other than the steps (which our lovely host brought along some muscle to help) we enjoyed our stay very much. Four women traveling together and we felt very safe at this property.

We felt safe at this property, but in the evening the street was not well-lit. I would not expect the property owners could do much about that.

The property was exactly as advertised and photographed. The location was perfect.

It was lovely! Our kids loved staying upstairs and having their own bathroom! We loved walking around the windy streets of old Parikia and it was fun to stay in a place in the middle of all of it!

The Happy Apartment is in a fantastic, central location in Parikia old town. It is an historic building which has been well renovated. The downstairs area - lounge and kitchen - and the beds were very comfortable. Great to have two toilets (upstairs and downstairs). Good wifi and air conditioners in every room. Plenty of cafés and restaurants were just a few minutes walk away. If you want to stay right the heart of the action in Parikia, this apartment is a great option.

Because this is a historic building, the layout is a little quirky which means the bedroom downstairs, which is spacious and well appointed, does not have natural light. And the bedroom upstairs, also very comfortable, has very low head height. Also, the main bathroom is tiny.

The Staff . The lady was super nice. The place was clean, nearly walking to everything restaurants, places to see . We don’t need a Taxi. Just walk

a bit strange configuration of this old house - high ceiling downstairs but very low upstairs (it's not possible to stay straight), the bedroom downstairs has no window or ventilation, small bathrooms, with a small shower cabin downstairs

Right in the heart of Parikia and very close to the port. The apartment is super comfortable and well equipped. Host is very communicative and even gave us good recommendations! Highly recommend it.

Lovely clean apartment in a quiet place just a short walk to restaurants, shops and the ferry. It is well stocked and very comfortable. It was handy to have an extra toilet upstairs. They allowed us to drop our cases off early. The pizza place across from the apartment is amazing!!

The room upstairs is small with steep rickety steps. If you have big cases this may be an issue. The apartment was incredibly hard to find with more than a few roads with the same name. Just the middle initial is different. I stumbled upon it and recognised it from the photos. There was no name up anywhere either.

The location was perfect for us. Very cute and comfortable. My kids loved the view from the stairs up to the roof. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

The locations and facilities were great! The staff were wonderful and walked us to the apartment!

Airflow was a little limited, especially in the bedroom with no windows. A small fan per bedroom would solve this.

Location was excellent. Very central to everything. The host met us with the keys and helped us get settled. There was a high chair and portocot for our baby which was very convenient. The apartment is really spacious and there is a house keeper who comes everyday. Highly recommend

The location is perfect, within walking distance of the ferry's port and restaurants around are abundant and easily accessible.

The bathrooms... the web description mentioned 2 bathroom with bathtubs. Apparently, it might be booking.com's error as the owner said the description they have is 1 shower/lavatory and 1 lavatory only (no bathtub). The 2nd room is on the 2nd level so our friends who stayed on that room had some inconvenience when it comes to showering as they have to go up and down to shower. In addition, the shower room is a little too small and the shower door is only half so every time we shower, the floor gets so wet. However, after discussing with the owner, they refunded us with some money to cover the inconvenience we experienced. Also, the address on the website is a little off in google map, but could be google map's issue. Overall, the apartment is clean and well maintained. By the way, the washing machine gets loud when spinning, hopefully, it is fixed by now.

Located 3 minutes walk from the port - surrounded by boutiques, cafés and restaurants - and yet the property has a very intimate and private feeling to it. It is immaculately clean, the decor is gorgeous and inviting (and looks exactly like in the photos!), and the bed is one of the most comfortable bed I ever slept in! The staff, Nikolina, is friendly and gave great recommendations.

This property was the most amazing location . Steps from the port in Parikia , down a quiet alley , right by the cutest shopping . Nikolina was the best host , very responsive if we needed anything or had questions.

The property was exactly as pictured . if you have not travelled in Europe before , the size of the bathrooms might be a shock.

Perfectly renovated!

Lovely apartment, great location, fantastic host. Nikoletta text me a couple of days in advance to check in and then on the day sent me very clear directions on where to meet her and then she brought us to the apartment (it would have been difficult to find otherwise)

Excellent location. Pretty much in the centre of the village but quiet at the same time. The apartment was bigger than we thought and very clean. They provided cleaning services every day, which was very handy. Nikolina was very helpful and gave us good tips about restaurants.

The apartment was wonderful; clean, comfortable and stylish - and in a great location. Communication was easy and the property manager even met us at the ferry and walked us to the apartment.
