Apartment with Beautiful View to Bryggen

Amazing location. Really right smack in the city centre with a gorgeous view of Bryggen outside our indows. Lovely couple as our hosts too who welcomed us.

Location is 10/10. Less than 3 minutes from everything.

Only 1 bathroom however very common for this area, and this bathroom did a really good job keeping up with the 6 of us.

This was a fantastic apartment with the nicest and most helpful hosts. The location was the best we have seen in Bergen and the families 5 star.

The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, the apartment was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. An added bonus was fresh fruit.

Herzliche Begrüssung, perfekte Unterkunft an Bestlage. Ich würde diese Wohnung sofort wieder buchen. Taxistand, Fähren und Bushaltestelle sind gleich vor dem Haus. Als Bonus für müde Menschen gibt es einen tollen Inder gleich im Haus nebendran, welcher auch Takeaway anbietet.

The property is wonderful, in a central location with lovely view. The hosts were attentive and accommodating and the rooms and amenities are spacious and thoughtful.

Super host, even though the owners were an aged couple but super fit and helped us with our luggage while check in and checkout. We were welcomed with an Indian flag on the dining table and the kitchen was fully loaded with fruits & juices. The kitchen was fully loaded with complete cookware and crockery and cutlery. Nothing better can be asked. USP was the location and the view, you wake up every morning with Unesco site view and multi colour beautiful houses and harbour..

The hosts, Sonja and Birger, we absolutely amazing. They met us at the door to give us the key and show us around, they provided snacks, juice, multiple types of coffee/expresso, and even a computer for general use. The location was just incredible - right on the harbor, with photo opportunities out of every window. It was a great apartment and I highly recommend it.

I am joking, but the only problem is that Sonja and Birger were such great hosts that no other apartment can compare. We are now in Reykjavik in a beautiful place with a great location, but the hosts were not nearly as welcoming.

The apartment and hosts are excellent

The apartment was clean with elevator. Consisted of 3 comfortable bedrooms for 6 persons, complete with full board of amenities, washing machine, linens, fruits, drinks, rice and pasta for cooking. Very nice views of Bryggen and the ferries. Very nice deco of the apartment. The owners were friendly waited for us and handed over the keys and very helpful carried our luggage up to the apartment. It's highly recommend for travellers that need 3 bedrooms apartment in Bergen!

Actually none, but it is only small comment for the toilet / bathroom as it is a bit small so it was hard to put our personal items in the room.

Absolutely the best location with the kindest hosts we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only is the apartment gorgeous but Sonja & Birger thought of everything. Every detail was thought about and beautifully curated. I wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment could not be in a better location. The views are postcard worthy but also conveniences at your doorstep. All while being beautiful and quiet at night! We absolutely loved our time in Bergen and hope to come back and stay again soon!

Perfect location with amazing view of Bergen

It is located perfectly in the center of the action. As promised, we had lovely views of the harbor and easy access to shops, restaurants, public transportation, and historic sites. The apartment is equipped with everything you would need—full kitchen, washing machine, extra umbrellas, coffee, shampoo, and even binoculars to look at ships and birds. It had plenty of space for our family of 4, excellent water pressure, and so many amenities. It really has all the comforts of home.

We loved everything. We stayed in June when it’s light until almost midnight. Remember your eye patches if you like dark rooms to sleep. And because it is in the city center, you might want to bring ear plugs.

Location Location Location. No pictures can do this place justice it’s incredible if we weren’t out I spent every waking hour breathing in the views. Fabulous hosts with great communication. So many things eg fruit drinks and toiletries were provided. This place is the cleanest place we have ever been to and everything is on the doorstep including boat trips and a train up the mountain you can only fall in love with this place it’s people and its beauty. Sonja and Birger are wonderful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend to anyone. We thought it was on the higher priced side but I wanted a water view and it was worth every penny. Supermarkets are on the same street as well as the famous fish market, restaurants and bars- thank you so much. We have made memories to last a life time ❤️

The apartment is beautiful , well equipped and the view and location are exceptional. We loved meeting the hosts in person which is rare to find these days. The many personal touches such as a sweet treat on the bed, lots of delicious fresh fruit, juices, snacks, fresh rose and flag of our country made us feel so welcome. Great location, fantastic view, wonderful hosts. Hosts left a fruit basket and snacks the first day which I have only had done a handful of times - and I absolutely love it. Such a nice touch.

Bit of street noise. One room has no ventilation whatsoever and fan was not quite enough.

The view from the apartment is truly exceptional! The host waited for us and showed us the apartment and the main facilities (washing machine + dryer, dishwasher). Nice little things: a little Italian flag on the table of the sitting room, a large bowl of fruit in the (well furnished) kitchen. Good supermarket just 100 meter away. Everything at walking distance.

Location was fantastic and our hosts provided special touches, such as personally meeting us, having our country’s flag on the table with their country’s, providing us with special treats and foods, such as fresh fruits, juices in the refrigerator, chips, and nuts as well as providing wonderful resources to explore their city. Wow what an apartment! You couldn’t stay in a better location or a better apartment. Very welcoming and very comfortable, with extra touches that went way beyond what was required. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Bergen.

The location and the apartment itself. The owners were amazingly accommodating and gracious. They stocked the apartment with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, snack, toiletries , candy and chips and peanuts. They booked our taxi for us when we departed and came to bid us goodbye. This was first class service!

Best view in Bergen and a superior location! It’s located next to the piers where many of the area Tours depart and next to the fish market, but away from the large cruise ships. Very well equipped and comfortable. The clothes washer & dryer were a huge plus because it meant we could pack lighter. It’s located in the middle of everything.

Because it’s a downtown apartment with a shared locked entrance, check-in requires arranging a time to meet the host for the key. They are flexible and live close by. The other drawback is a lack of onsite parking. City Park is available nearby for 300 KRO/ day.

It’s proximity to everything we wanted to see and do!

The Hosts were most accommodating. Communications and access were prompt and easy. Location and view were superb. The apartment was spacious and spotless and every appointment and accommodation was anticipated and provided.

Everything was great. Hosts stayed in contact and met us later than originally planned as weather impacted our travel. Place itself is large, clean, everything our family needed. Hosts even left a fruit plate and chocolates for us. Apartment is on 6th floor, but small elevator works well. Full kitchen, bath with laundry, and living/dining room. Views of the harbor and Bryggen unmatched. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The property was clean, close to everything, beautiful views, fully stocked with linens, toiletries, and some fruits, juices, candies. I appreciated the welcome tour of the home, and how quiet the apartment was at night. We were able to sleep with a window open with no concern for noise. The beds were very comfortable - we had the best sleep we had anywhere while touring around Norway.

The location is perfect right in the heart of the action. Yet peaceful as well as on level 6 and many of the other occupants businesses. Sonja and Birger provided absolutely everything that you could want. As Birger said “it is your home now” and that is how it felt. We had three adults staying and it was very spacious and comfortable. Birger even organised a Taxi for our trip to the airport after our stay.

The owners were very kind and they left us fruit and treats- that extra touch makes such a welcoming impression. The parking is located a few minutes away in a parking garage. We would definitely stay there again.

The view is amazing. Apartment is centrally located in the city and located directly across from the fjord tour boats. Extremely gracious hosts!

I loved this apartment. It had everything I could possibly need and it felt like home immediately. The location was superb- very close to the city, Bryggen and the fish market. The views were stunning, especially at night. The hosts were amazing and they were very welcoming. The fruit basket, snacks and Australian flag were lovely touches.
