Modern chalet on a rock promontory 25' above the water, with sweeping views of Aurlandsjford fjord. 1 bed/1 bath house is clean, very well equipped, sleekly stylish and comfortable + W/D. 10 min drive to ferry & train in Flåm, 10 min walk to Aurland where there's a cute bakery, grocery, and Aurland Shoes (the original penny loafers!). Bikes & helmets at property. Owner David responds to messages quickly, and his charming dad Hallgeir met us at house with key.

Nothing, perfect for us. No bathtub. Single bathroom is could be crowded for big group. No covered parking. Hm...could use a hand juicer.

The view is stunning, the pictures don't even do justice to the real view! The house has everything you could possible need, the location is perfect for many different activities in the area. We absolutely loved our stay and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave...

Udsigten fra alle rum i huset var uden sammenligning af hvad jeg før har set. Wauw! Her var rent og pænt og alt var i orden. Alle køkkenskabe var veludstyrede og der var krydderier, olie, sølvpapir, bagepapir og meget mere. Nok det bedste sted vi har lejet.

Prachtlocatie. Gewoonweg TOP! De mooiste uitzichten op het fjord vanuit elk hoekje van het huis of de tuin. Zeer goede uitvalsbasis voor verschillende uitstappen. Supermooi, kraaknet, alles was aanwezig (toiletpapier, olijfolie, peper en zout,….). Heel vriendelijke gastheer Kurt, dat ons stond op te wachten met de sleutel en ons wegwijs gemaakt heeft in het huis. Ook heel lief van hem dat hij speciaal een speelgoedbak met treinen klaar had gezet voor onze zoon om mee te spelen. Geweldige vakantie! We zouden zo terug reserveren!

Misschien het enige verbeterpuntje: een verduisteringsgordijn aan de master bedroom. Want er kwam veel licht binnen om te gaan slapen.

All the other reviews are true! We have booked many houses, this ons was the best. Superb location, really everyhting you need to live is there, clean, great bed, and te best of all: 2 outside places to relax and enjoy the view of the fjord. Thank you family Otnes Sør! We will be back:)

Perfect location. Most rooms have a magnificent view of the Fjord.

This is a beautiful place for a group to enjoy Aurland and Flåm… We were 2 couples and we spent 4 days here… The place is well equipped in terms of the kitchen and the bathrooms… Overall the interiors of this place are fantastic…and so is the view from here… We spent quite a few mornings and nights just gazing at the fjords from the living room and the patio outside…

Everything was great!

The location was perfect. We had a hire car and could easily get around for the week. The house was in the most beautiful location with views out to the fjords. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the property. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The place was well stocked and prepared for our visit. Breathtaking views. Free kayaks and bicycles to use. Excellent communication and response times. It was perfect.

The property is perfect and should be on everyone's list heading to Norway. The host was very helpful and attentive. We were travelling by rail without a car so the host offered to pick us up and drive us back to Flam. The host also dropped us back off at the train station after our stay. The host also checked on our second day that we had had an opportunity to see the local sights given the rain and offered to drive us to the local sights. A perfect host. The property overlooks a waterfall and has everything you need. The property was spotless and very comfy. Could not have asked for more.

Fantastic location with panoramic fjord views, pristine apartment, and very friendly punctual host who met us to hand over the keys and show us how everything worked in the apartment.

Beautiful setting and very large apartment with every amenity one could want. The host was very pleasant and even drove us to and from a hiking trailhead. Great property overall.

Amazing location and views. Home is spotless. Loved it and we were able to use sea kayaks and bicycles too. We were very well looked after with help offered to launch kayaks (which wasn't needed in our case) and lifts to Flam. Very thoughtful. Village lovely to cycle through. Also it was beautiful to sit out on verandah or loungers and watch the world go by.

we loved everything about this property from its location, views, facilities , comfort level but most of all the exceptional Host who collected us off the ferry and took us to the property before taking us to the only open supermarket as we had arrived on a Sunday. He was so friendly , welcoming and helpful even dropping us to the train station when we left. Thank you very much Hallgeir .

The location of the property was outstanding, the best place that my wife and I stayed at during our honeymoon in Norway. Located directly between Flåm and Aurland so both villages were easy visits. Otnes Sør had every amenity we needed during our stay

During our visit, I believe it was nearly 18+ hours of daytime in Norway, so when we went to get some rest it was still fairly bright… Extra pull down shades in the master bedroom would be a great addition to an otherwise amazing stay

The views are epic and the house is so stylish and comfortable. It was spacious and yet cozy and the perfect way to spend 2 relaxing days. Our host was also kind enough drop us back at the train station since we didn't rent a car.

There is a grocery store within walking distance for basics, but pack your own wine/alcohol because they don't sell any and the nearest place is 1 hour drive away!

Best view from a rental I have ever had. Apartment is entire top floor of home but feels stand alone. Exquisitely designed and well laid out. Kitchen is larger and better equipped than my own. Integrates with nature in a modern and comfortable way. Beds and linens are super comfortable, bathroom is spacious and nice shower.

Amazing view of the fjord, everything was perfect and perfectly clean. I think this must be the best place to stay in the whole region.

This is an excellent property with superb facilities and far exceeded our expectations. We felt truly spoiled with the luxury of the place and the comfort and a view to die for. The whole establishment has been well thought out and nothing was missing. It was simply one of the best self-catering establishments we have ever stayed in.

Everything is awesome! Views from all windows and terraces are amazing! Kitchen has everything that you just can imagine. Also we used kayaks, great expirience! Host is very helpful and hospitable! After all, we with friends decided that it was the best our accomodation, huge thanks for that!
