Die Gastgeberin war super und das Zimmer gemütlich. Der Ausblick auf die schneebedeckten Berge hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Unsere Highlights waren die Fußbodenheizung und die Badewanne.

Die Geräusche vom nahe gelegenen Bahnhof.

Views were fantastic, space was clean and well eqipped (maybe a spare blanket would be good).

Very warm and delightfully cosy with a view that was stunning 🤩 morning and night. I had a magical moment in the deep hot bath with the window cracked open looking up into the stars ✨. Blissful

Keys in the door. Personal welcome from Kristine, a perfect host, at the same time. Great chatting with Kristine about mutual friends and experiences. Great bath. Loved watching the manoeuvres of the trains below. Weather was unexpectedly fine. Place is warm, small and beautifully kitted out.

This tiny "Nook" was delightful - especially the huge wet room with bath and picture window overlooking Arthur's Pass railway. A peaceful location and super comfy.

Really cosy little place to stay while passing through Arthur's Pass. Clean, comfy and a host who was helpful but not intrusive. Highly recommended place to stay.

Generally clean and comfortable with good facilities, the bathroom in particular was a cut above!

Good location just a short walk from the village centre in a quiet location. Room was well equipped and spotless. Kristine, our host, was also super friendly and helpful

Pretty much everything. We road tripped the South Island and stayed in different accomodations along the way, the nook was one of my favourite places to stay. After a long day of walking it was nice to dip into the bathtub, relax and enjoy the views. The bed is so cozy and comfortable I didn’t want to get up. Thank you Kristine for letting us stay x

From the outside i looked like a Shack, But inside a very different look and feel, its was really well furnished and good shower. Only stayed one night and it was a shame it rained all the time we were there

A fantastic authentic stay in Arthur’s Pass. So glad we were able to stay in the park & The Nook ticked all the boxes for us Super comfy bed & luxurious bathroom - so good to have a bath after a full day walking. Easy location from which to start some of the main walks. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Lovely and quiet, self contained space. Has everything you need , good temperature control and a 4 star bath. The area is worth exploring! Great communication from the host.

A lovely cosy place which had everything & felt really homely. Arrived on a very wet wild day & had everything we needed to cook & eat in while watching the rain pour & the river rise, luckily clear for a beautiful waterfall walk next day.

The Nook was such a perfect little place after a long day of driving. The location was very small town whilst being slightly down the road from the main street; easy walking distance though. My partner and I were impressed by the features and facilities within The Nook.

A very warm welcome, with everything you need in the cabin itself. Lovely views and just around the corner of everything Arthurs Pass has to offer. Just fantastic.

We arrived at The Nook on a rainy day and the accomodation was very cosy and comfortable. The host was also very friendly and accomodating. Great place to stay.

The accomodation is near the railway station and there was some noise during the night. Pretty sure this does not happen every day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

This is a stunning place to stay. The views are magic, the indoor and outdoor baths have incredible views. Underfloor heating made the room super snuggly. I would 100% stay here again and recommend.

처음 맞이부터 숙소내부 청결, 편안함 모든게 만족스럽습니다. 부산에서 22시간 이상 걸려 당일 오전 크라이스트처치에 도착해 렌트카 픽업 후 갔던 첫 숙소였어서 너무 피곤한 상태였는데 따듯한 숙소에 몸과 마음이 다 녹았습니다. 강력추천합니다.

We really enjoyed our stay in Arthur's Pass. The host gave us great ideas for activities and was very friendly. We loved the apartment, tub, bed, view... it was all fantastic! We enjoyed the little neighborhood and went for walks in the evening looking at historic landmarks and the old school. *One thing to note is that Arthur's Pass is an important rail connection to the West Coast and so you will hear the busy railway. This will be the case in every single place you stay there since the town is along the railway. After our first day we were used to the sounds and they didn't bother us. We only had one night where we were awoken a couple of times from the trains. I would absolutely stay here again! Bring all of your own food... there is very little to buy in the town itself. There are a couple of restaurants.

The Nook had everything you could need for a night or two. Super comfortable and cosy.

It felt private and exclusive, there is only the one apartment. It was beautiful to be up in the mountains with the views and not so cold in mid Nov that I couldn't go for a stroll on dusk to listen for birds. It is close to the train line but that's the nature of the pass and did not disturb my sleep. I wouldn't risk the shower in case of slipping but lowered the amazing shower so it didn't spray. Lovely modern bathroom

The Nook is super convenient, walkimg distance to the store in Arthur’s Pass village and all the nature walks.

This isn’t on the Nook at all, but I did nearly ditch the car in the drainage channel next to the laneway, I can’t think of a way to make it more obvious to a first-time visitor but it might be worth adding to the welcome pack?

cute little cabin very cosy vibes, had everything we needed including nice bathtub, comfy bed, games and tv. Wifi was also fast considering location. Easy check in.

We really liked that cozy little studio while travelling the Arthur’s Pass. The host was great, the interior modern and nice.

This was a very comfortable and warm place to stay in a more remote location. We stayed the night after getting off the train and we were very happy to be picked up and taken to the property with our bags even though it is actually walkable. Plenty of things to do in property should weather be inclement. Views are great and we found it quiet and restful.

Remember this is a remote place and there is limited ability to buy food so come prepared. There is some ability to prepare food at the property but travellers who stay for longer need to prepared. We were aware and this is not a criticism of our stay.

Loved this stay. Was cozy and very warm - I had to take layers off it was so cozy and warm. Bath was lovely inside with the window that opened the whole way so you could enjoy fresh mountain air while you soaked. Percolated coffee was delicious also!

My stay was perfect. Make sure you take supplies as food in town is limited.

The Nook was a unique experience. Isolated but very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Nice furnishings. Lots of extras. Felt very special. Great for a night or two.
