Rural in the city

Apartment was spacious.Well set up for families.Very clean.

很安逸的小农庄，有很多动物，但是完全不吵。房间打扫的很干净，初春打开空调和电热毯也不冷。偶尔有飞机飞过的声音确实很大，但不频繁，完全可以接受。Mike 把一切都说明的很清楚，丝滑入住！

The welcome was so warm and friendly. The animals are so cool. To wake up in the morning to see the chooks was nice.

Rural location and quiet

We had a lovely stay. The host was excellent with communication and was very accommodating when we had a few changes to our flights. The unit was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

The only small downside was the ventilation system, which made a noticeable sound throughout the night.

The hosts Mike and Louise have a lovely aura about them. They made us feel at home

Very unique, helpful family!

We booked this for our son and his wife, as we were all visiting PN and wanted a place for them near family. They were very positive about their stay, particularly mentioning the fun of being near quirky animals.

Lovely rural setting very close to town but still a bit out of the way.

Except noise preventing me from sleep, everything is just excellent. Spacious and tidy, and the host is absolutely amazing.

The main bedroom fan might benefit from some maintenance or perhaps upgrade, to stop giving a constant loud noise. Everything else inside the property is perfect. Outdoor noise - before 6am - is quite bearable, and the owner does give a heads up of the noise once you’ve booked in.

Wifi nonexistent, not able to connect at all. The heater in bathroom not effective. Electric blankets might have been nice in second room.

Nothing really. The staff warned me about the possible noise from the neighbour, but I didn't mind it at all.

Everything was great

Due to our arrival time, the owner had advised that they would leave the door unlocked with the keys inside. We were impressed to have a Play Station to use and dvds to watch.

Breakfast was probably a bit too light for two people, but we were keen to eat out anyway, so didn't really bother with it.

Didnt have the breakfast, but there was plenty on offer. Did use the bread for our tea. Thank you.

All of it. This is my second stay here and the service is amazing the facilities are more than we can ask for and the animals are an added bonus.

There is nothing I don’t like

It was lovely meeting the hosts, they are very kind and hospitable. The rooms were spacious and clean, we felt at home straight away. Kitchen is well equipped. The owners sent a detailed information about the property prior to our arrival, therefore we knew what to expect. Good morning from the goats was a bonus, they are just adorable!

We would have loved to stay longer, but that's not a fault. The fan in the main bedroom (I suppose it was the home ventilation system) was loud at night and I did not know how to turn it down or off. Next time I know what to look for and will ask the owners, it's not a big deal.

The location was great. The host was lovely. It is very cheap and therefore very basic though it was perfectly clean and everything that was required available. Good shower pressure.

It wasnt a 2 bedroom apartment it was a 2 room stay. One bed was in the dining room and the other in the lounge. I wouldnt call it a breakfast but there was milk and a few basic cereals and a couple of slices of bread. The beds could do with mattress toppers on each as they were well worn.

房源很棒，很溫馨的房子。房東他們就住在隔壁房子，旁邊還有他們的開心農場，有養豬、羊、馬、貓等。是這次紐西蘭最喜歡的房子了，可惜只是路過住一晚，下次希望能多住幾天。房子有兩間雙人房，超大的廚房及設備齊全，客廳很大很溫馨，還可以看Netflix 。有洗衣機（使用需5 NZD)

房源位置在一個有點神奇的地方，在鐵路旁的小路。

Make sure you read check in instructions about which way to turn down the driveway as the host was passive aggressive to us about it when we arrived and did the wrong thing. There are two gates, one says keep closed at all times, the other is open and leads to a house. We were supposed to go through the closed gate but went up to the house as it was open, it was raining, and we thought someone would come out to greet us. The host had spoken to me on the phone twice about check in time and said he'd greet us and hand us the keys (didn't mention the gate). If you don't want people getting it wrong, maybe signpost the gate as after long days of travelling sometimes tired and busy people get things wrong. Being confronted about it on check in soured our experience and we've been thinking about ever since! Also it's a good idea to bring your own breakfast food as the complimentary breakfast included only two slices of bread in a container, plus some cornflakes, oats, and some spreads. For 2 people and 2 nights I'd expect more than 2 slices of bread. I guess we were supposed to have half a slice each per day, haha. I understand it's complimentary but I don't see the point of offering it at all.

It is a fully sized household. Very secure. Peaceful.

Car has to be parked a short distance from the house. Fortunately it didn't rain and wasn't really an issue.

From the start with Mike greeting us. Lovely and clean with comfy bed and good shower pressure. Breakfast supplied was a bonus

Property was surrounded by animals, pigs, chickens , goats, which is definitely a positive in some aspects but also so close that you cannot freely open windows & doors for flies if airflow inside is important to you. It also means the room can have closed up smells.

The animals, spacious, kind host, clean & inviting. We loved the ps3 & have referred the accomidation to others:)

Very relaxing, enjoyable environment, spacious for the 4 of us. Close to the township, with that relaxing country feel. Noise of the animals didn't bother us, my daughter said the noise was actually enjoyable. Mike and Louise were friendly, and very helpful. Value for money.

Mike was an excellent host, I deffo recommend staying in this beautiful lil home, they thought of everything & Mike went above and beyond, even in the pouring rain he walked milk over to us....awesome host.

Train driver blocking the road for the evening but Mike was very laid back & patient so nothing was a problem in the end. Cheers heaps guys...

I loved the farm feeling! Waking up to the animals & everything, made me feel like I was at home!

This is a hidden Germ! My daughter has an amazing time! She wants to come back to this “hotel” again. The animals were very friendly. Clean and tidy home.

We loved everything about the property! It was beyond our expectations! It felt like “home away from home”

Place is on a farm, we were surrounded by a sounds of nature.

Sofa in our room had plenty of stains. Location is very hard to find with navigation, you need to follow the map. It is located close to an airport, however during the night the sounds were not loud.

The isolation, the apartment was well presented i believe we got the better side of the deal here value for money.

At first the lounge seats were uncomfortable however after driving a while it became heaven.

Secluded yet still close enough to everything we needed.

Trotz der Aufmerksamkeit des Gastgebers uns Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung zu stellen war das nichtaufhörende Bellen der Nachbarshunde sehr mühsam. Würde aus diesem eine Grund leider nicht woeder hier buchen.
