Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Spacious and comfy house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Close to town, which was very convenient for a conference trip. Lounge was cosy, with a heat pump. We couldn't figure out the HRV system for the rest of the house, but there was a back-up heater and electric blankets on the beds, so we didn't get too cold.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Clean and welcoming. Good instruction book. Quick and friendly response to our minor door lock issue, thank you!!
I suggest some sort of location symbol by the road entrance to help with initial arrival... this isn't a complaint, simply the only thing I can think of to improve such a great service offering.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026I liked the location, the wash house facilities were good as well. The kitchen facilities were easy to operate.
The driveway was narrow. We had a big van which perhaps was the issue as well though. I couldn't lock the door after we left.

The place is so homely it feels wrong that there is no cat, but that would upset the family of thrushes we watched i guess.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2025Perfect location, short walk to town yet very peaceful. SO clean and tidy with a private little outdoor area. You might even find a Lemon on the tree out back. Key-less entry/exit, no fluffing around with a key. 1 Camera keeps an eye on the driveway. WiFi works great and the TV and Sound system are perfect if you want to put your feet up. The Coffee Machine is a real treat and got a good thrashing!, while the Fridge is huge if you want to stock up for a longer stay. My only disappointment is not being able to stay a little longer.
Didn't like? Good question..... I am really struggling to come up with a single thing that I didn't like.....

Reviewed Oct 13, 2024This was exceptional accommodation. We have stayed in motels in Palmerston North on multiple occasions that have been acceptable. Staying in this house instead for the first time was fantastic and so much better all round. Immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, super quiet, with comfortable beds, it was perfect for our group. The attention to detail and little extras were very much appreciated. Lots of supplies such as tea, coffee, plenty of towels, chocolates on the bed, everything you could possibly think of. Would love to stay here again! Thank you for a lovely stay.
