Staff was pleasant but not particularly welcoming, granted she had a problem guest a head of us.

Bed was terrible - a mattress topper on top of a hard box and one person had to crawl of the other person. No coffee or breakfast service nearby, Had a kitchen with coffee pot but not even one morning's serving of coffee!

We had two separate apartments and the host put us across from each other making it easier for the families to still be engaged. The shuttle service was great.

Everything was good.

La struttura si trova immersa nella natura ad una distanza percorribile a piedi dalla stazione di Flam.Abbiamo alloggiato in una casetta composta da 3 appartamenti, il ns con ingresso dove erano posizionati 2 letti, soggiorno con divano letto e piccolo bagno. Il tutto molto confortevole. Tutto intorno cascate e verde. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli presso la struttura. La gentilissima signora della reception è italiana.

Ridiculous charge for what is one step above a camping hostel.

It needed fresh air. The couch was uncomfortable. The cost is highway robbery for the facilities

Nette und ruhige Lage und ohne schweres Gepäck von der Bahn zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Shuttleservice (extra Kosten) funktionierte auch zuverlässig.

Camping-Feeling zu Hotelpreisen 370€ die Nacht in einem relativ engen Apartment ist doch relativ teuer, wenn man beim Auschecken selbst die Betten abziehen und den Müll rausbringen soll und zudem auch noch alles durchfegen muss. Ungespültes Geschirr kostet weiterhin ~40€ Strafe. Gepaart mit der Tatsache dass auch längeres Duschen unerwünscht ist (ein Wasserboiler für alle Apartments) und bei schwerem Gepäck der Shuttelservice (zusätzliche Kosten) sehr zu empfehlen ist, konnte die Unterkunft uns leider nicht völlig überzeugen.

Super expensive for what the room offers, noisy (could hear the noise from the washing machine and kids in the nearby room), problems with hot water in the shower.

O lugar é bem gostoso, porém a cama é muito desconfortável, chuveiro muito bom. Fica um pouco distante do centro, mas nada que atrapalhe , dá p ir andando com as malas tranquilamente

The mailbox was hidden behind a chair, we looked for a very long time and it was frustrating. If the instructions had just hold us where to find the mailbox with the keys it would have saved us much time as it was after 8pm when we arrived

The apartment was spacious, clean and very well-appointed. There was a lovely view across the valley. The apartments are in a number of traditional-style wooden buildings across a farm site - thre is also a hostel with dormitories. This was our most expensive stay in Norway but seemed to be good value for Flam.

No fault of the property but there is an unsightly field of gravel, machinery and containers nearby. The apartments are shielded by a hedge so once there the view is unspoiled.

Beautiful location with views of the surrounding mountains, about a 15 minute walk from the train/boat station. Highland cows grazing outside the patio. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, easy to collect key. Staff offered a shuttle service but we didn't need it. Apartment was clean and pleasant enough though on the basic side. Shower worked well. We didn't really use the kitchen equipment but everything seemed fine. Table and chairs inside, and another set outside. Ideal for our one-night stay but not luxurious.

We were expecting a double bed but got two very narrow singles instead, however they were comfy enough. There was a double sofa bed in the lounge which was not set up as we booked for only 2 people.

Non è una struttura adatta a una famiglia di 4 persone, spazi ristretti. Acqua calda limitata. Finestre non isolanti. In centri città dove ci sono miliardi di cose da visitare, non ho mai visto una cifra del genere

Amazing location with a view of the waterfall, just a 15 minute walk from the station. Away from the main tourist bustle, on a working farm with cute piglets! We had a self-catering apartment to ourselves, a little basic but with all the facilities we needed.

Not cheap, but pretty much what we expected for a such a touristy area in an expensive country.

The administration of this hotel is terrible! When you enter the room there are all over papers of different rules to follow otherwise there will be consequences. Absolutely ridiculous!!! “Don’t do big showers because we have a small boiler” I really don’t care When I pay 350 euros per night you have the money to buy a bigger boiler! “Get rid of your garbage before leaving because there will be a fine” Very funny!!!!!! Flam is a very expensive place and the hotels are expensive but I am sure that anyone can find a better place to stay than that!

The highlight of our stay was Sonja: she was super helpful, going above and beyond to help us, especially when we had a problem with our taxi going to the ferry and she totally saved our day. Thank you!

Surroundings are lovely. Nice walk from city centre. Interior was a bit dated but ok. It was nice to have a kitchen.

Two beds were put next to eaxch other to make a double bed. Sleeping area is just by the door and feels a bit narrow. The hot water didn't work.

Clean and cosy bedding. Friendly shuttle driver.

Booked a double but got two skinny singles in a tight space. Unclear in advance which accomodation we'd been allocated so we booked the transfer, which turned out to be an unnecessary expense. Lots of niggly bits (only plug in the bedroom area is above the window??, no nightstand, v little hot water etc). I've certainly stayed in much worse places but what rankles is the extortionate price for this basic stay. I get 'supply and demand' but there's a point where a lack of value for money makes you feel like you've been ripped off.

Es difícil acceder al dormitorio. Esta lejos si te mueves con transporte público y llevas maletas. Dificultad para que funcionara la electricidad y calefaccion La escalera muy empinada y no pude subir la maleta al dormitorio. Muy caro otra una noche solo.

The beds were not very comfortable.

The apartments are a bit small. The bed is almost right by the door. The staff disappears before 8 PM. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. In the evening, they leave the guest list on the entrance door. This is a violation of privacy.

An incredibly charming and very affordable inn for our stay in Flam. The location in the hills was beautiful, yet a very short walk into town for dinner! We loved having our own little apartment!

No blinds or curtains downstairs

it was a quit place but far from city center

price for quality was absolutely terrible. All beds were very uncomfortable and need urgent replacement. it was like sleeping in a hammock but for the price of a very good hotel (900 eur x 2 nights).

Would be nice if the bathroom had a shelf or somewhere to set toiletries. Also would be nice if there were mirrors in the bedrooms or somewhere else in the house besides the bathroom for multiple people to be able to get ready for the day.

Le camere estremamente spartane, abbiamo preso una tripla e una doppia. La doppi era veramente piccola e poco funzionale. Bagno poco praticabile. Costo da 5 stelle plus e comfort da ostello. Imbarazzante e scndaloso

Clean, spacious enough for 4 people (2adults, 10,13) to fit in one room. Kids shared sleeper sofa and were fine. Other bed was approx size of US Queen. Other options in this area would have required 2 rooms, doubling the already high cost. Had picturesque location, good communication, and the mini kitchen was a nice surprise! Also close to waterfall hike. Getting back and forth to town was a 15 min walk-not terrible at all.

Of course price was high for a very basic room-but that’s the market for this small town for this time of year (Aug)! Reviews complaining about price don’t seem to understand the supply/demand aspect.

The surrounding scenery was beautiful

The actual location of the property is not as advertised. It was a 1.2 km walk from the train station. Facilities are minimal. No proper curtains, a bunk bed so low you hit your head when on the lower one. Very basic bathroom and totally overpriced. No communication when we were lost.

Accommodation was clean and basic for what we needed. Would be good for curtains to be a little more black out but thats just a preference. The whole area is expensive so it was good for the location but worth noting if youre on a budget- book early!

El entorno y el paisaje

En la litera la escalera para subir era insuficiente y peligrosa. Contratamos con ellos el servicio de transporte hacia el Puerto y nadie vino a buscarnos, no contestaban los mensajes y la recepción estaba cerrada, gracias a que una trabajadora italiana nos hizo el favor de llevarnos en su vehículo pudimos coger el barco.

Hemos disfrutado de una buena estancia. El alojamiento es tal y como se muestra en el anuncio y cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Estuvimos en un apartamento tipo estudio para 4 personas. El entorno es, sin duda, uno de sus puntos fuertes: una zona preciosa y muy agradable para disfrutar y conocer los alrededores. Tanto la entrada como la salida fueron rápidas y sencillas. La limpieza era buena, el baño estaba correcto y la cocina contaba con los utensilios necesarios para cocinar sin problemas. En general, es un alojamiento práctico, bien ubicado y fiel a la descripción del anuncio, ideal para disfrutar de un entorno fantástico.

Como aspecto menos positivo, nos pareció que el precio es algo elevado en relación con lo que ofrece el alojamiento. Entendemos que se trata de una zona muy turística y que la oferta de alojamientos es limitada, lo que probablemente influya en el coste, pero aun así es un punto a tener en cuenta.

El llit de matrimoni era un sofà llit, bastant incòmode
