The location is the best we have stayed in. Watching the changing light on the water and listening to the water lapping at the shore was so peaceful. We saw harbour porpoise and seals. Lovely warm apartment with tasteful decor. Good shower with plentiful hot water. 15 min drive into Trondheim and easy off road parking. .We didn't want to leave.

A few things would have been nice like some bedside lighting. Hand towels would be welcome. The bathroom door was a bit challenging. The stairs are alot with cases but the price you pay for the waterside location.

The fjordside position was incredible and the accommodation made the most of its position from every angle . Really well equipped and very clean . Our host was very helpful and replied rapidly to any question.

There are steep steps leading down but our host had told us of this in advance so we were aware .

1) El apartamento forma parte de una casita a orillas del mar emplazada en un rincón precioso, con muchas posibilidades de disfrute. 2) Michael, su propietario, es una persona siempre atenta a todo en materia de comunicación, aunque se la han pasado ciertos “detalles” que seguidamente explicaré. 3) Quiero pensar que se habrá puesto a solucionarlos (los más graves, o menos), por su tranquilidad y el confort de los futuros huéspedes. 4) Por otra parte, su respuesta al trasladárselos ha sido irreprochable, inmediata y satisfactoria, por lo que, pese a todo lo mal que lo hemos pasado (Michael, también), no podemos más que agradecérselo mi mujer y yo.

1) Leímos (tarde) algunos comentarios que referían dificultades para aparcar, sin riesgo, al margen de la carretera, y del complicado acceso al apartamento, bajando, si o si, por unas escaleras empinadas (y en mal estado en su último tramo). Solo podemos certificar esa realidad. Sin duda, no es un lugar apto para cualquier persona, y debería incorporarse este extremo en la descripción del Seaside Rentals. 2) Pero lo verdaderamente grave fue encontrarnos con unos problemas de higiene en los colchones y demás elementos de las dos camas, que omito explicar con detalle, que nos impidieron descansar como es debido y que nos llevaron a trasladarnos a otro alojamiento, después de una primera noche ciertamente incómoda. 3) La escalerita de caracol interior está rota, crujía y daba un poco de miedo, además de no poderse subir una maleta normal. 4) Sofá de la planta baja, roto en uno de sus extremos. 5) En términos generales, a todo el apartamento le vendría bien una limpieza en profundidad. Tener que compartir una cena bajo la atenta mirada de unas arañas instaladas en su confortable tela, no es tranquilizador.

Perfekt läge, sköna sängar. Modern inredning. Bra med utemöbler på altan och balkongen. Välutrustat med tvättmaskin, torktumlare och diskmaskin. Underbar utsikt. Vi lyckades fånga fisk direkt från klipporna. Roligt!

Kändes inte så välstädat när vi kom. Smulor kvar på bordet och den enda ugnsplåten som fanns var tyvärr väldigt smutsig. För att vara ett så fint hus i övrigt hade jag önskat ett mer välutrustat kök men Micro, riktig kaffebryggare och ugnsformar.

View and location are great, sort of peaceful but you can hear lots of cars from the road above. Good for sea fishing, even from the balcony especially at low tide, if you master the art of not snagging on sea weed. We caught massive pollocks and few cod. Underfloor heating was great, we could manually control the temperature. Accessing property was easy, good instructions for collecting the key.

I usually don’t post bad reviews but when we pay a lot for a stay, we expect to get a clean, well maintained place. Bathroom and kitchen were moderately cleaned, we had to vacuum and floor wasn’t mopped. The dust bag in vacuum cleaner was full, my husband had to empty all the dirt before we could use it. There was no bucket for mopping and no mop head, l borrowed one from the neighbours so l could clean the floor. There was a bad smell in the house on arrival, l guess because the furniture, sofa, carpets, pillows, throws weren’t washed for a long time. Unpleasant odour upstairs is even worse. The bed upstairs in double room is very soft and they placed a thick mattress topper on it which made it even softer, woke up with backache next morning. Therefore I had to remove the topper after the first night, so l had the “pleasure” to see the state of bedding underneath. Mattress was stained, discoloured, so was the other side of topper, same situation with the pillows and blanket. The staircase leading upstairs is wobbly, luckily it didn’t collapse during our stay. There was a loose socket in the kitchen, shower head holder was cracked and toilet paper holder wasn’t fixed to the wall properly. Bed linen and towels had the same unpleasant odour just like the entire place. Luckily l brought our own bedsheets, and l washed their towels before using them. There was some brown liquid spilled over the blinds by the entrance which should’ve been cleaned professionally. The large living room windows were dirty, l had to clean them outside to enjoy the views. Plates were scratched, cracked and chipped. There was one frying pan without lid and no microwave, food could be warmed up only in the oven. We had a wonderful terrace but no covered area to sit when raining, which happens quite often there. Pillows for garden furniture were left outside, all soaking wet, so no use at all.

Städning var hastig gjort, mjöl i ett skåp, kaffe på vänster karm när man kommer in, ben af bordet inte fräsch, tvätt av före gäster i korgen, smutsiga fönster, porslin ungskål fett, mat på handtaget av ugn, täcke och kudde behövs att tvätta, man ser att spiraltrappan är farligt, inre är den på väg att gå sönder (trappan kan då att rasa isär). Om vi hyr ett hus med terrass förväntar vi inte att terrassen blir betsas om under vistelsen (kunde inte sitta ute p.g.a doften).

The stairs leading down to the place were alot. The stairs inside were kinda sketchy, very wobbly. It wasn't stocked with enough toilet paper or paper towels but Micheal did respond quickly and dropped some off. There were also many spiders inside that we had to kill and some we missed

That view was stunning! We sat and soaked in the view of the sea for hours, breathtaking! Also the sound of the sea lapping up against the rocks was the cherry on top! Michael the host was excellent, very attentive and accommodating. We stayed in the Superior Suite and loved it. Very clean, warm and pleasant. We would highly recommend.

Pillows were a little too soft, but we improvised. Also the main bin area on the main road was a ghastly sight as it looks like the birds/animals have ripped open a few bags that may have been left out. But the house and the location was utterly spot on!

The view and serenity of the location is magnificent. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Pięknie położony domek, piękne widoki. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia i łazienka. Salon sprzyjajacy wypoczynkowi. Cisza, spokój, fantastyczne miejsce do regeneracji.

Wrażenie popsuło kilka detali. Niezadbane otoczenie domku (śmieci tu i tam) psuło widoki. W domku było sprzątane, ale chyba na długo przed naszym przyjazdem albo niedokładnie, bo bylo dużo kurzu. Niektóre naczynia nie były domyte, a piekarnik po prostu brudny. Na piętrze nie ma ogrzewania, więc jest zimno. Drzwi do sypialni muszą być otwarte, żeby ciepło leciało z dołu (na dole jest przyjemnie). Łóżko dwuosobowe nie miało dużego materaca tylko nakładkę na dwa materace, więc w nocy robiła się dziura. Stara posciel. Brakowało też instrukcji, np. dotyczacych segregacji śmieci i ich wynoszenia oraz wskazówek, np. dotyczących zakręcania wentylacji w sypialni, żeby bylo cieplej.

Die Lage am Meer war top. Größe war gut. Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat auf Anfragen sofort reagiert. Küche war gut ausgestattet.

Wendeltreppe ist sehr schmal und es fehlt ein kleiner Kleiderschrank mit Kleiderbügel.

Tolles Haus mit Terrasse direkt über dem Meer mit unglaublichem Ausblick, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wirklich traumhaft schön!

Het uitzicht was echt prachtig en zelfs uren naar bruinvissen kunnen kijken. Locatie was ook perfect met kleine autorit de stad in en toch buiten genieten.

Hygiene kan sterk verbeterd. We hebben ook alle ramen moeten lappen (konden we niet goed doorheen kijken…wel jammer met zo’n overzicht). Het parkeren was een klein beetje spannend en de trap was te doen voor ons maar best pittig (niet aan te bevelen voor iedereen).

The house was well-equipped and the living space was comfortable. The heating went on all day, the blankets were also quite warm. We loved the view too and that we could get a bit closer to the sea. Good to know: The house is only accessible (if you are not going by car) by walking on the edge of the main road where there is no sidewalk. Also, there is a longer and a bit slippery stairway down to the house.

Negative: You cannot reach the room with the bunk beds if you have a big tummy, every path at the first floor is narrow. It was a bit sad that there was no covered terrace on the guest side.

God beliggenhet tett innpå fjorden og nærme byen. Gode sittemøbler. Hyggelig vert som ga rask respons.

Litt mye rot og uorden utenfor huset … noe halvferdig oppussing, og en opplevelse av noe mangelfullt renhold.

Absolutně neopakovatelné místo, nádherné výhledy z pokojů na moře. Jedinečná atmosféra. Pěkná a dobře vybavená koupelna. Hezká terasa a posezení venku.

Některé prvky ubytování by potřebovaly údržbu a servis (schody, kuchyňská linka, sedačka), ale nic závažného / důležitého.

Noen mangler, løs kontakt på kjøkenet, hundebæsj utenfor døra og løs dorullholder. Veldig lang trapp men det var vi informert om. Og skummelt å gå etter veien.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und hat vor allem einen ganz wunderbaren Ausblick! Wir waren anfangs etwas skeptisch ob es ohne Auto angenehm ist, aber die Busse sind sehr zuverlässig und vor allem nah an der Unterkunft, so konnten wir immer gut in die Stadt rein fahren und wieder zurück kommen. Außerdem haben wir eine tolle Wanderung direkt von der Unterkunft aus unternommen. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut ausgestattet und wir konnten uns unser Frühstück gut selber zubereiten und unsere Kleidung nach der Wanderung kurz durchwaschen. Wir hoffen dass wir nicht das letzte Mal hier waren!

A really wonderful view on the fjord! A very quiet place 10 minutes by car from Trondheim. 90 steps to get to the house, but it’s absolutely worth it!

We loved the location, gorgeous views, right on the water and with the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you to Michael for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

The location is fabulous immediately at the sea. It is possible to walk down a stairs and enter the sea for a swim. The apartment has a large porch where you can sit on lounge banks and enjoy the views. It was the end of our holiday, so the availability of a washer/dryer was also very handy

One has to go down some stairs which was ok for us, but maybe hard for people that do not walk easily. The kitchen equipment could be improved (e.g. nespresso type of coffee machine and a knife to slice the bread)

The views from this property are amazing and really that is the making of this property. The apartment is well equipped and has a nice modern feel. The owners have taken time to make it feel homely, there is a washer and dryer available to use and a hair dryer which was a nice touch. Location wise you're only a short drive into Trondheim so easy to see the sights. We saw either dolphins or porpoise one evening out in the fjord which were spectacular to see.

There are unfortunately a few downsides to this property. You park just off the road and the designated parking place is small with part of the road crumbling down the hill. There is a longer parking place nearby that we decided to park in instead. As described when you read about the property there are a lot of steps down to get to it. This wasn't a problem for us, the steps are well made and easy to manage but if you have any mobility issues or have young children I don't think this would be ideal. Inside the property there is a spiral staircase to get upstairs to the bedroom. It is extremely tight and a bit wobbly. We decided not to take our suitcases upstairs as a result. The beds were very soft, this is down to individual taste but for us they were just too soft which didn't lead to a good sleep. The property is made up of two apartments, you have your own decked area each but it isn't as private as I had thought and you are mindful of not making too much noise, especially when out on the decking.

The location is stunning! We had an amazing couple of days hete at the fjord. The view is beautiful from every window. Definitely recommend booking!

The carpet does not really feel “clean” a lot of hairs stay stuck here. Did vacuum ourselves but still difficult to get rid of.

The whole house is very old … Didn’t have proper beds for us to sleep all of us … one room the mattress was on the floor… and one bed in a hallway The house is in a mess condition… Sorry but it shouldn’t be in a comercial use for people to stay .. please avoid And we’ve paid quite a high price for all of these . Very disappointed!!!

The house and the view were amazing! The perfect place to stay before going back home

Wow, that view will blow your mind away! Comfortable and modern space. Spacious, very very comfortable beds. Also, has everything one needs for a longer stay. Really warm place. Close to the city. And did I mention the view? Absolutely breathtaking and one of the best views of my life in a stay.

It's not really something that can be changed, but when it's that unfortunate time of the year where the snow melts, and then freezes again, and your car is parked up next to the road where other cars drive past and the wet snow flies on your car - be prepared to clean and scrape it for around 45-60 minutes every morning. :-D

The view from the aparment was awesome ( living room and 2 rooms with awesome view).

The access to the apartment was not ideal beacuse we had to deal with to 50 stairs from the street to reach the apartment. The stairs to the up floor was narrow so it was not so much space to move and also the up floor was cold and only one room had a heat device

Stairs were narrow and steep in apartment. Also stairs that lead from parking to apartment are not very dog-friendly, but there is another way around so we didn’t have any problems

An amazing place. We were thrilled to be there and once in we didn't want to leave! The photos are very accurate and the view across the sea is stunning. The house itself is just a short drive to Trondheim (10-15 mins) and there is a bus stop close by also. Kitchen and bathroom had everything you needed and the home was always lovely and warm. Host was great, we had a minor problem with wi-fi and electrics, but he responded really quickly and the problem sorted without any trouble. As mentioned in other reviews, it is accessible by a lot of steps (93!) on a fire-escape-style staircase. So you do need to be pretty good on your feet. If you can manage those steps you can manage the spiral staircase inside too. We loved it! Happily recommend it and it wasn't a bad price either considering other options around Trondheim.

Not much not to like, and would be unfair to criticise any of it really. Missed a bed-side lamp though!

Stairs from the street to the appartment are long and steep. Likewise the stairs from upper floor (bedroom) to lower floor (living, kitchen and toilets). Not easy for everybody.

In the top of the stairs half of the railings are not installed. To avoid accidents with children this ought to be fixed.

95 steps, Small refrigerator, VERY tight spiral stair to bedroom floor above ..which does not have bathroom , ...but certainly nothing a problem for us.

This is a stunning home right on the water. There’s so much deck space and the most incredible views. It’s nicely decorated and stocked with all that you need for a comfortable stay. You have total privacy (we rented both suites.) There are so many beautiful places to sit and relax. It’s breathtaking.

The stairs to the beach are very steep and narrow. There’s lots of rusty metal and rebar around. The stairs inside both suites are extremely squeaky and loud!

Great location right on the ocean with nice view towards the horizon. If you want to hike, the path starts right across the road.

You have to consider that your travel to town is limited to public buses or car. On weekends the buses run quite seldom and you need a taxi to get to the airport in the morning.
