The staff was helpful, they tried to solve the problem that we had and the location is pretty great.

The sheets and towels are dirty, literally you can see the dirt on them. The place has a heavy smell. The logic is if you wanna stay in the old town you should be okay with that your money won't worth for the accommodation. You will just pay for the location.

Great location. So many things to do right there in walking distance.

No water for several hours but it was everywhere around our location.

I love the location. Huge bathroom.

The refrigerator is not cold. Wish to have a little more of essential kitchen items.

code for entry easy to use. finding outer door easy with tip to find invicta store. great location host did try to quiet third floor renters - but was unsuccessful. might want to provide earplugs as a courtesy to guests as there is absolutely no barrier to sound from stairs or other floor rooms. although issues, host co was polite and seemed to care.

entry - some light pointed at the key pad. had to use phone flashlight to find and use. larger shower drain very slow. host did address. air in one bedroom never did come on - but at least having host disconnect light on fan so we could use fan without the light it was livable. had to wait around twice to try and get items fixed. kitchen had no wine glasses or coffee cups. less than 6 plates - in a unit that could sleep up to 10. glad we didn't try to cook as minimal utensil and only sail and sugar. larger coffeepot would be nice- 3 bedrooms with tiny pot. one of spring breakers from upstairs unit threatened to spit on one of our party as we "narc'd" on them for extreme noise between 1am and 4 am.

Es muy caro para lo que es. Muchísimo ruido en la calle y además la limpieza bastante regular. Cuadros con telarañas y polvo, además de venir con picaduras de chinches. He escrito al alojamiento para avisarles pero no he tenido respuesta.

Location was great, very close to restaurants and walkable to anything we needed.

When we first arrived we discovered that the toilet flush handle was broken. They offered to send someone in the morning to fix it, but since we were only staying one night and couldn't get a late checkout, I just hope they fixed it for the next guests. My husband had to take the back off the toilet and stick his hand in there to flush the toilet. Disgusting. Also, since we were staying there with our baby, one of us had to sleep on the dirty sofa bed. Well, my poor husband was the volunteer and not only were the "clean" sheets stained, but he woke up with bug bites on his arms and legs, which are still there a week later. The floors were dirty, there was hair in the bathroom.

Location for getting to places. Many dining choices very close.

Noisy outside and air conditioning inside was very noisy. Stairs for carrying luggage were very narrow.

Location was amazing. Apartment was large and spacious. Loved the windows and open airflow we could get. I was pleasantly surprised b/c we've always had problems when renting apartments in different places in the past. Great communication with the rental agency.

We had a city-wide power outage (that was not the rental's fault) but it would have been nice to have a backup generator for this occurrence which we were told was common. But the day was pleasant and opening the windows kept the apartment cool.

Could not ask for a better location in Old San Juan. Great balcony to sit out on and enjoy the gorgeous weather

The location was excellent. We had good communication throughout. We were able to store our luggage until it was time to check in. I recommend this rental to others.

Just a heads up, the unit is on the second floor and there is no elevator.

Fridge is noisy for people sleeping in the living room. The couch wasn’t made upon our arrival, contrary to our demands and expectations.

I'd have preferred an apartment with windows, and a balcony even if small. The apartment was too dark for us. This apartment had an open atrium that had only slatted blinds so the TV and conversations of neighbors were such that it seemed others were inside our suite. A little startling for us gals to hear a man talking, sounding as though he was in our suite.

Didn’t realize the loud music in cars would continue all night-too much. Would never suggest anyone stay in the area if they wanted to sleep at all.

I didn’t understand that we had to walk up two flights of stairs with our heavy suitcases. I didn’t understand that one bedroom was upstairs and Mom was down and that there would be no living room. It was a high top table that was not at all senior friendly. I was very embarrassed with my husband, and my sister being semi disabled that it was not at all friendly.

The location was great as you could easily walk around all of Old San Juan. It is a spacious apartment with good views.

In center of everything, had lots of character

If you have a lot of luggage it’s not the place for you. We had to pay someone to carry luggage up stairs (travelled with slightly older women). Not enough outlets by or in bathroom. Needed more mirrors and definitely needs something in shower to hold your shower stuff

Great location in Old San Juan. Lot's of restaurants and things to do close by. The apartment is right at the end of the street leading to the Old Fort and Governor's Mansion, so there is no driving on this street. It was blocked off and had security at the end of the street we had to pass through, so while this is a great location, it is not one that would work well if you had a car. There was no parking close by that we saw. Getting an Uber was very easy though and our preferred method of getting around the areas too far to walk to. The streets in front of this apartment were also nice and quiet.

24 hours of travelling to reach San Juan via Taxi, Coach, two planes and finally a taxi and I was exhausted to arrive to a police guarded gated apartment where I had to carry my heavy luggage up a series of staircases comprising of 52 stairs of different sizes. The apartment was spacious but there was no hot water all I did was sleep I had to venture out to get some currency, food and water which was very difficult because the nearest cashpoint was near the dock and the supermarket was further on. I had two nights here and had no physical contact with the hosts . I complained about the water and I asked other guests about it and they also had no hot water.

As others have said.... The process for getting into the property is a nightmare. Once booked you will be asked by the property to provide a damage deposit. This involves providing a photo of the back of your credit card and a picture of your ID (drivers license, passport etc) which doesn't feel secure at all. You will receive lots of emails demanding this before they release details of how to enter the property. No options for arriving early so you will be stood on the street with your cases if you arrive early and zero options for late exit, even if by a few minutes. On returning the property said "There is an issue with your bank so unable to return the deposit". I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend the property at all.

It was Not specify that the unit is away/separate from the actual office. Bathroom ceiling was leaking. Lady that help us with check in seem bothered/annoyed. Other staff were nice and friendly. We gave this a try but wouldn’t stay here again.

The location that shows up in Booking was way off - be sure to check your email for the actual address. Also, the parking ramp that was only a block away from the rental was the Dona Fela.

Inconvenience of no accommodation for early arrival (check in and luggage). Traveling has associated stress, these basic accommodations are important (aligning flights with check is very difficult) . Note: I was not a fan of having to leave my luggage at a pharmacy or restaurant near by ... just odd you can't accommodate holding luggage for early arriving guests .

Kitchen needs attention. New utensils and pots and needs bowls. Kitchen could be redone. Blind on front street window broken- had to use tinfoil to cover the window to stop people looking in, bedrooms very noisy from street noise... needs a noise machine. Couldnt find a broom or vacuum. Washer and dryer broken! Towels on arrival were all wet.

Roof leaked most of the night, dripping into upstairs bedroom and dampening clothing. A Kindle got wet but was not damaged. Water also dripped into the second downstairs bedroom, creating a puddle on the floor. We did our best in the middle of the night, putting bowls on the floor, mopping up water, etc. in hopes that floor would not be damaged. Also, the air conditioners' strong blue lights shining on the beds all night long are awful. We could tell people had tried to cover them up with tape. This should be fixed somehow.

Very comfortable and centralized. 201 Tanca was so centralized - walking distance to everything - historical sights, groceries, shopping, and restaurants. It was also nice to have a balcony to sit and to watch people walk by. Bus station was close and riding was free. We rode it several times to see sights outside of Old San Juan and back to the airport. Really enjoyed ourselves.

60 steps to climb to get to the apartment. 10 minute walk to parking. Poor lighting in the apartment.

I loved the location. It was near Hotel El Convento which was very important as I was attending a wedding there. It was walking distance to a lot of attractions and shopping.

Not once in the 4 nights that I stayed there did anyone come by to clean the apartment or even take out the trash!! That was highly unacceptable!

We thought the location was the best as it was next to the plaza, sandwhich shop and tourist kiosk in Old San Juan. Very convenient to walk the cobblestone streets. The place was very large and the beds comfortable. Balconies off of each room since the until is on a corner were nice too.

One bathroom (out of 2) didn't have a mirror at all so we had to share the mirror in the other bathroom and/or use a handheld mirror which is very inconvenient for women doing their hair. The place is not annotated anywhere outside so it was a bit hard to find with our Uber driver. A better description in the email sent to use would have been very helpful. We were there over the holidays so the plaza was a bit noisy but we didn't mind.

Internal courtyard is connected to other apartments where sound could travel. Our neighbors were very noisy at 3AM while we were trying to sleep. Bring earplugs in case your neighbors are like ours.
