Good location right in the heart of old San Juan. Great for young people but be ready to endure noise up to 2am from the bars and clubs nearby.

The noise was too high at night. Even though there is local regulation, the noise level from the local business is high and goes on to late at night.

Location was the best and most convenient.

Posizione eccezionale nel centro di Saint Juan, davvero comodissima per girare la città e frequentare i locali, tutti a piedi, check-in/check-out davvero semplicissimi.

tutta la stanza NON ha finestre, sembra di stare in una cantina molto umida dal soffito alto dove il bagno è veramente al limite dell'accettabile. Perlomeno al prezzo pagato pensavo sarei stato in una situazione più decorosa.

The host was kind enough to change our room which had a mezzanine to one on one level. When the water was out in all of San Juan, she was quick to notify us, provided gallons of water and was able to turn on her water supply briefly. Bed was comfy, big bathroom with hot shower. Restaurants and bars only steps away. We were in room 11 and never were disturbed by the music played loudly in all the bars. There was a communal kettle and hair driers.

It was a great location and the the host was amazing. She was very accessible and attentive to all of our needs. She was really friendly and I highly recommend renting a room from her.

It’s not really a hotel. There’s no signage on the outside. It’s directly across from three pretty loud clubs. Our room was in front.

Right in the middle of all the action. Clean, beautiful master loft bedroom. Great shower water pressure. Fridge. All you need for a couple that wants to party.

The pullout sofa bed is a 4ft x 3 foot futon that does not fit an adult. We checked in late so had been messaging the property owner all along saying we needed the futon made up. They never left any sheets or pillows for the futon. And never answered our messages. Also we stayed on a Thursday night and the property is above several nightclubs so the blaring music and people outside were very loud until 3am or so.

El timbre está inasequible y se puede dificultar el contacto cuando llegas si no has pagado antes para que te den toda la información del acceso. (ojo: paga antes de llegar)

No hot water for showers. Very noisy neighbors late at night . Stairs up are very narrow.

Older building and facility with lots of character located in the heart of the action of Old San Juan which for some may not be great but we loved it. Little balcony overlooking the activity. Great stay amongst all the night life

La altura del techo es muy baja con relación a la cama, tuve que caminar encorvado para no golpearme la cabeza. La escalera sumamente peligrosa! The location is amazing. These old buildings are charming and being in the middle of everything is a definite PLUS. The room was clean - the AC Cold - and the bed was comfy. The rooms are laid out weird and it all seems in various states of construction. Outlets on walls 8 feet up. The neon sign took up most of the improvements budget. I would definitely come back and I look forward to seeing them improve this gem of a property. Some other guests complained of the noise, and there was noise, but why the heck come to PR if not to enjoy a good party and watch others do the same. if you want quiet - there are some nursing homes in the middle of the island OR put on the provided ear plugs and take a chill pill.

I think the service could have been better. When I called the number for assistance - I did not get a greeting - just "Hello" - I had to ask if it was the hotel...could be better at answering the phones and not sound like im inconveniencing them. There was a young man at the top of the stairs when we arrived - he pointed us to our room, but he did not offer to help with our luggage. there are alot of precarious stairs heading up to our room. Plumbing seems to be an issue as well.

The noise at night due to the club/ bar across the street was a bit disappointing. We had to get up at 2:45 to be at airport at 4 and didn’t get any sleep

Circa 1 ora prima di effettuare il check in ci é stato comunicato che non ci sarebbe stata acqua calda nella struttura.

At $170 it was a reasonable price given most hotels were booked solid on the evening of the recent airport cancellation.

There are NO windows in the room and the bathroom was a walled off section of the room with a not-to-code toilet a few inches from the wall, sink and shower (with cold water). The location in Old San Juan is adjacent to the nightclub street and with absolutely no sound proofing for the 3rd floor room, it was crazy loud up until 1pm. It was like sleeping with a boombox next to your ear.

Location was right in the middle of Old San Juan / It was as quiet as probably any hotel right in the Old Town, there are so many bars with lots of lively music and people. / For us it worked well there were no windows and we slept till 11am due to late arrival and jet lag - But, for many that could have been claustrophobic to have such a small space and no windows.

I was not prepared for the steep and narrow stairs to the bed. The desk downstairs should be upstairs as there is NOWHERE to put suitcases or stuff when you undress. Had to stand up to turn off the light - Bed T-Cupped in the middle.

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows.

We loved the downtown location, however the apartment is right across the street from a very popular bar, so be prepared, if you're not out partying til the wee hours of the morning, you may have an issue with the noise. I will add the property manager kindly offered us a sound machine and earplugs.

Ótima localização, acesso a todo Old San Juan a pé. Muitos restaurantes, bares e mercados próximos, além de locais de interesse turístico. o local é simples mas suficiente para uma estadia curta. Não tem portaria, sendo tudo feito à distância, com senha para acesso.

Es muy pequeño y no tiene ni una ventana. Esta muy cerca de los locales de fiesta y se oye la musica hasta tarde, para nosotras no fue un problema pero conviene saberlo

La ubicación, lo mejor que tiene este lugar en el centro de Viejo San Juan, donde puedes recorrer caminando y de forma segura todo lo que ofrece esta zona.

Entiendo que en una zona histórica están muy limitados en las construcciones o remodelaciones que se pueden hacer, pero la habitación creo que se pueden amueblar y decorar de una forma que la haga más agradable.

Infelizmente foi decepcionante chegar no local sem a senha para entrar, pois a anfitriã não me enviou, mesmo depois de ter descontado o valor da hospedagem pelo Booking no mesmo dia do check in, sendo que eu não imaginava que precisaria isso, pois achei que era um hotel ou pousada com recepção.

Świetna lokalizacja. Doskonały kontakt z właścicielem, który przesłał kompletne informacje o możliwych parkingach w okolicy. Pokoj posprzątany, ręczniki i pościel czyste.

Pokój nie miał okna, o czym nie ma informacji w opisie. To bardzo duża wada. Otwór w ścianie (na drzwi balkonowe) jest zastawiony nieszczelnymi deskami zamkniętymi na kłódkę. Gdyby było okno z szybą - byłoby nie tylko światło w pokoju, ale też hałas z baru naprzeciwko byłby mniejszy. W pokoju bardzo strome schody do łóżka (jak drabina), ubytki w suficie - widać że. IE remontowany od bardzo dawna. Wyposażenie bardzo skromne, zamiast szafy tylko wieszak na ubrania.

The location was right in the middle of the bar-nightlife scene!

Because the property was right in the middle of the night life scene even with ear plugs supplied by the property it was impossible to sleep. I also need to state that the ladder up to the loft bedroom was to difficult to use so we had to sleep on the sofa bed.

My wife and I stayed in the basic double room which was much smaller than it seemed in the photos. The room was just big enough for the bed and about 1.5ft on each side. The bathroom was so small that I had sit angled in order to fit. You're also instructed to not flush toilet paper and throw it out instead. The shower didn't get very hot but it did the trick. It's also very noisy due to its location but the host does provide ear plugs. The positives though are that the host is very responsive, it's in a great spot in the middle of old san juan and right off a great busy street where all the nightlife is reminiscent of New Orleans. If you're looking for minimal amenities, dont mind a really small room, and are primarily looking for a place to just crash at night before being out all day and night, this can be a top spot for the price.

Convenient location, close to the best downtown bars. A little loud but our intention was to go out and experience the nightlife in the area. We would stay there again. Very grateful the host offers luggage storage free of charge.

Alojamiento en pleno centro del viejo San Juan, justo frente a la factoría a la calle San Sebastián. Es un lugar perfecto para alojarte si vas a salir de fiesta aunque precisamente por eso por la noche se escucha bastante el ruido de la calle. La habitación estaba muy bien. Éramos 4 y abajo había un sofá cama junto al baño y a la nevera y arriba una cama matrimonial. Todo estaba muy limpio y el baño era precioso. Los jabones que nos dejaron olían fenomenal!!!!.

El ruido que se escuchaba por la noche en la habitación. Era casi como si estuvieras en la calle pero eso no es culpa del alojamiento, es normal debido a la ubicación junto a los bares de fiesta del viejo San Juan.

El lugar está bueno, tiene buena ubicación en pleno viejo San Juan, la dueña es muy amable, muy atenta y muy servicial. Desventajas es que en la noche cuando hay fiesta hay mucho ruido y las habitaciones no tienen ventana.

El cuarto estaba bien cómodo y limpio. Comunicación con la host fue súper rápida y excelente servicio.

We needed a place to rest for one night and this was perfect! We checked in and walked to the bars around it, and had so much fun! Definitely a place to stay for few if you're looking into enjoying the festivities and surroundings of El Viejo San Juan. I loved it!

Property owner was responsive, helpful and respectful.

The location was convenient for fetting to our cruise ship. Unfortunately the weekend we stayed there was limited water in the area due to a major break in a water pipeline. Luckily the property had water storage tanks and we were able to take a shower when we arrived but not in the morning before check out as the water had run out. Eventhoug earplugs were provided, they did not provide effective soundproofing from the music coming from the bars in the area. Ingrid was a good host.

Excellent spot for a solo traveler who is out exploring! Walking distance to everything in San Juan. Not ideal if you are renting a car due to lack of parking. Room remained cool my entire stay. Self cleaned the room at checkout. Overall, it was private and perfect for someone who won't really be in the room much! Note, there are narrow stairs going up to the rooms.

The location was amazing. Communication with the host was top-tier. The location was located in the heart of San Juan. We enjoyed being right in the middle of everything if you’re looking for a quiet place. You may wanna look elsewhere the noise didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed the nightlife and when we came up, it felt so good to hear the island so alive. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to our friends and family.

The room was perfect for the price I paid, it was only one night that my family and I stayed and it was very clean. The only thing I was not happy with the near by businesses that had loud music late at night.

Me encantó Trotamundos, está ubicado en una zona donde todo está cerca y puedes disfrutar al máximo de todo lo que ofrece el Viejo San Juan.

Loved our stay here! We stayed 2 nights and walked around the vicinity of the place. They gave us recommendations on places where to eat,drink and chill! It is SO CLOSE to La Factoria which is a good bar with good drinks. At 12mn to 1am it is still noisy but they provided ear plugs and it did worked. there is Cold and hot water and the bathroom smells good. Fridge is cold also the AC. Check out time was 11am but we were still on a tour to El Morro and they happily said we can stay till 1pm. And it made our day and trip better! Would love to stay here again! Thank you!

It’s a perfect cute colonial place

The staff were very hospitable. This is a unique and authentic Viejo San Juan property. I arrived after midnight on a Thursday after a long cab ride from the airport. There was a party in the streets which slowed my taxis progress. Promptly at 1 or 2 am everything became quiet and I slept soundly in the cozy loft apartment. In the morning the lovely balcony was open and I met my kind host. This isn't the Ritz. If that's your vibe look elsewhere, but if you like an artsy beautiful space and a great experience you’ll be right at home. Great value too!

Great central location. Safe area. Nice balcony. Host was kind and responsive. Because it was surrounded by bars it was very loud and the walls are thin so couldn’t sleep the best. Maybe bring earplugs especially if you’re staying on the weekend.

Communication was not good. I had to reach out on the day of my stay. I did not receive a text nor an email about instructions or anything. I did not get the room that I paid for. I paid for a deluxe double room but I got probably the smallest room for me, my wife and two daughters. It's not a good place to stay with family. It's a good room to stay if your single and ready to mingle with good night life.

Location was excellent; walking distance to historic fort, great restaurants, bars & shopping. Very clean. Very loud at night due to proximity to bars but we knew that when we booked it. Earplugs make it easier to sleep. Great communication with owner, very responsive to questions and provided great local recommendations. Stairs were steep to get to upstairs loft but if able bodied not a problem at all. Would stay again!

The place is really good to be honest, just no TV and no kitchen use that bother me. Also, I didn’t like the fact that there was no washing machine there, if they could improve on those the place you be perfect in my view. But overall it was a good place to stay.
