Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und es war unglaublich sauber. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

In diesem Preissegment hätten wir uns eine bessere Matratze gewünscht, diese ist sehr weich leider, aber der Ausblick entschädigt auch dafür 😊

Location to the beach. Front veranda.

False advertising on photos presented on Booking.com!! Photos made us believe we were renting a classy, pristine, roomy, beautifully-decorated beach cottage. What we got was a cottage that was tiny with a dangerous staircase which was more ladder than stairs. It was open, very steep and only 20" wide!! Most people would not be able to carry a suitcase up it, let alone climb up it! Any disabled or heavyset person would not even be able to get to the bedrooms or one bathroom! The kitchen was dingy and in desperate need of being freshly painted and having the filthy tile floors replaced. The living room had a bare lightbulb! The MBR had a bulb burnt out. The doors did not close properly. The shower did not drain and we were afraid it would overflow. We had NO idea there was a bar next door! People were outside hanging out drinking and smoking into the night. This was NOT the experience we were anticipating by the photos shown on Book.com!!

Die Lage war gut.

Die Ausstattung war chick,aber das Stadthaus für 4 Erwachsene viel zu klein,die Wände zum Teil feucht! Bei der Buchung über ihre Seite,mit der ich normalerweise sehr zufrieden bin,war es , als hätte man was ganz anderes gebucht als man dann vorgefunden hat,ich erwarte zumindest einen Gutschein!!!

Geschmackvolle, moderne, aber gemütliche Einrichtung. Toller Zimmerservice, sauberer kann man nicht putzen, Ansprechpartner schnell und direkt erreichbar.

Es hat in allen Punkten unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt bzw. übertroffen.

Great location loved listening to the waves and staring at the view! The staff were also fantastic when we had an issue it was sorted very quickly and with an apology.

It’s a quirky property, very authentic. Layout is fixed due to the age of the property. But we grew to adapt and loved it and would book again.

Beach access.

We booked the "Three-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View" expecting a spacious setup based on the listing photos: three proper bedrooms with queen beds and a balcony. What we actually received was a completely different, much smaller unit with only two tiny queen bedrooms, one room with pull-out twin beds, no balcony, and a very cramped/tiny bathroom. It barely fit our group of 6 adults comfortably, and we struggled to sleep. The property is in a great location in Salema, but the mismatch between photos/description and reality was very misleading. Staff response when we raised the issue was dismissive. Would not recommend or book again without clearer photos and details.

The small place is well located by the beach.

The advertisement for the little place is misleading. It shows multiple pictures of different rooms leaving the impression that the apartment is huge where, in fact, it is quite small, especially the room with little space around the bed. We tried to communicate with the owner to find a solution and he never replied, even after two days. We are very disappointed and would not recommend it.

Marina 1 was a great room and great location

Casa Ninho room had AC and hot water challenges. Staff credited first night, but it was as an inconvenience.

Avoid this property. The listing is, in my opinion, extremely misleading. The main photo prominently features a modern white home that is not the property we received. The highly rated reviews and overall score also appear to be associated with a larger collection of properties rather than this specific garden apartment, creating a very different expectation from the reality. Because the property we were assigned looked nothing like the advertised photos, we spent approximately 1.5 hours driving around trying to locate a building that matched the listing. It simply did not exist. The actual apartment was a completely different property and a completely different color than what was advertised. The listing also advertises private parking. There is no private parking. Parking is inconvenient and requires a significant walk, something that should be clearly disclosed to guests before booking. When we finally found the property, the problems continued. The lockbox was broken and extremely difficult to access. Once inside, we were immediately hit with a strong odor of mold, mildew, and mustiness. We found visible water damage, mildew, cobwebs, a broken window, and what appeared to be mold throughout the apartment. My son and I experienced immediate allergic reactions and knew we could not stay there. We contacted the property manager through Booking.com’s messaging system immediately upon arrival. We waited for a response, exhausted after a full day of travel, but never received one. After an hour, we had no choice but to leave and book another hotel at our own expense. The most concerning part is that the property has never responded. Not to us, and according to Booking.com, not to them either. We paid for a property that was misrepresented, appeared unsafe, and was completely uninhabitable for our family. I have traveled extensively and rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable.

We suggest a latch on the patio door screen to allow us to open the sliding doors to get fresh air overnight. Perhaps some sun screens as the patio faces west.

Ausstattung/Einrichtung sehr wertig und geschmackvoll, dezent. Lage top Willkommensmahlzeit (Wein, Käse, Früchte) und Kaffee für den ersten Tag sind eine sehr positive Überraschugn und von höchster Qualität.

The place was well-appointed and tastefully decorated. Comfortable. Nice, crisp bedding. Lots of attention to detail. Robes and tealights were a nice touch. Pay very close attention to the detailed directions on how to get to the property. DO NOT turn up the cobblestone street that goes uphill (no matter what your navigation directs you).

There was bit of a damp smell (but it's Portugal in winter with rain). Shower wand is coming loose from the hose, that will need to be fixed soon. Just include parking in the room price!

The property was clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. The host left us a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and some fruit so that was perfect for a snack and breakfast the first day. Shower was great and room size was perfect for us. The host was very friendly.

This property is on a hill and there is no parking nearby. We walked from city center about 1/4 mile and up a fairly steep grade to reach the unit. This is not beach front, which was OK for us, but some may have trouble with the hill.

Tolle Lage am Berg mit Meerblick. Ruhig gelegen. Leider hatten wir das Appartement nr3 mit innenliegender Terrasse. Beim nächsten Mal unbedingt das obere Appartement wählen. Die Einrichtung wirklich auch auf mehrere Tage und Selbstversorger ausgelegt.

This beautiful property was situated steps from on the beach. Lots of room. Comfortable beds. Easy parking. Beautifully appointed. The staff was thoughtful from providing excellent directions on how to reach the property and helping reserve a table at an excellent restaurant just steps from the front door. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Will note that the apartment has some interior stairs. Maybe not great for anyone with mobility issues, but highly recommended for anyone else.

There was a motion light out in the front entry area which continually went off and on throughout the night and shone through the frosted glass on our front door. Either it’s malfunctioning or the local cats are disco dancing in the entry area through the night. The mattress was a bit soft.

Schon bei der Ankunft hat die Wasserversorgung nicht funktioniert, es gab zu keiner Zeit warmes Wasser. Regelmäßige Nachfragen beim Vermieter würden immer mit der selben Antwort abgetan: ja ja ein Kollege ist unterwegs. Leider ist nie ein Mitarbeiter aufgetaucht.

Location, location, location.

It was perfect start to our month long vacation.

Wir haben ein Upgrade für das Casa Varanda erhalten. Toll, wirklich nur eine lange Treppe vom Strand entfernt. Komplett eingerichtete Küche und ein gemütlicher Wohnbereich. Bad und Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock waren über eine schmale Treppe zu erreichen: wirklich ein typisches altes Fischerhaus, komplett saniert und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Zur Begrüßung standen Wein, Obst und ein kleiner Snack bereit. Ebenso gab es eine Erstausstattung an Wasser und Saft. Wir fanden es sehr schön, dass Strandhandtücher zur Verfügung standen.

Da gab es wirklich nichts Negatives.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und grosszügig und stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Lage war super mit Sonne bis zum Untergang. Die grosszügige Terrasse mit verschiedenen Liege/Sitzmöglichkeiten war auch super. In paar Minuten ist man am schönen Strand von Salema.

This is a gorgeous, fully refurbished apartment with a delightful sun patio. The house sits atop a steep hill overlooking the beach and the Atlantic Ocean!

Just before we arrived, the village closed the street leading up to the house and proceeded to tear up the street, making passage to the house impossible. Because of my husband’s back problems, we were forced to move to another place for all but the 1st night of our stay in Salema. Because the group that owns and manages the property were so responsive, we were refunded all of our money except for the 1st night.

We loved the location of this property with a view out to the ocean. Amazing. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and treats. Much appreciated. The property was clean and well supplied. The staircase isn't for the faint of heart - steep and narrow.

We did have two teenagers sharing the third bedroom and it was pretty tight. it had a trundle second bed which took up all of the floorspace so they kept their suitcases in another bedroom. Minor inconvenience for a great stay overall.

Gorgeous, beautifully decorated, clean, fabulous views of the ocean. Love the small fishing village vibes. Salema is the best kept secret of the Algarves. Seven Collections is top notch.

Generally the small house was lovely. Great location in the old section not too far from the beach and restaurants. The yard was great and we enjoyed spending time there on the decks in the garden with views of the valley. The kitchen had everything and bathroom shower worked well. The home was nicely decorated.

The 2 bedrooms were very small and had we realized that we may not have chosen this lodging. The small double beds were against one wall, making it difficult for the person on the inside to get out of bed. There was little room for storing luggage.

Very nice apartment close to the beach and in quiet village. Staff was very fastly responding to our messages and welcome gift was also a nice surprise. I think we'll come back, also because of the views from the hill, they were amazing.

Washing machine is missing, could be good to have it there. Also microwave or oven would be useful.

Everything has been thought of for your comfort. Cheese a wine left for us, fresh oranges, apple juice and water in the fridge along with coffee pods. Beautiful apartment, super clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace is exceptional, a beautiful little place to visit. We hired a car and went to neighbouring towns such as Lagos, Luz, Sagres and Faro. Really worth the £25 we paid for 3 days!

We had the ground floor apartment that was perfect except that at sun set 2 group of tourist (not sure if from apartments nearby) gathered on the path infront of our porch and enjoyed a long and loud drinking session that made it unpleasant for us

Es ist eine sehr schöne modern eingerichtete Unterkunft. Mit einer schönen Lage im alten Dorfbereich von Salema. Der Check in,und die Beschreibung zur Unterkunft hat bestens funktioniert.

The location and the luxury they provide, towels changes every couple days, cleaned thoroughly during our 2 week stay.

I wish they would have let us know that a microwave could be make available. Unfortunately if we return for a longer stay than 2 weeks, we will look for a place with an oven and washer.

The two bedroom casita was perfect for our family of four! It's just up the hill from main beach, and a quick walk down to get to the water, restaurants, and shops. BTW, loved eating at A BÓIA (fried shrimp w Piri Piri to die for) and best gelato was at Atlantico. we "rented" the double lounge chairs with umbrella every day ($15 Euro) and was totally worth it. The water is cold (for us Texans), but clear and kids had a great time in it. Some commenters mentioned the cobblestone streets and hill were rough, but I'd say that is pretty much on par with most of Portugal. There aren't many wide, flat, smooth roads in the places that make Portugal so charming and appealing. Each room at the casita had it's own mini-split AC so it made for comfortable sleeping. Casas da Praia also very thoughtfully provided a bottle of wine and some really yummy cheese. They also provided beach towels AND a beach bag, which was so handy! The little kitchenette has all the right stuff. We got a few groceries from Seaside Essentials (at the bottom of the hill - they have a well curated little shop) and made a few breakfasts that we enjoyed on the back patio. Would we come back? Absolutely. Salema is a gem.

We found that communicating with Casas da Praia was easiest by WhatsApp. We missed pretty much all of their communication through the booking.com website for some reason. Also, the location shown on Booking.com for the address of our casita was wrong. It showed the location for the offices of Casas da Praia, but not the actual location of the casita. Regardless, the location for our casita was great. It didn't have an ocean view, but it was very central and close to the beach.

Durch das Online Check in gab es Probleme mit der Auffindung der Wohnung, da uns eine falsche Adresse übermittelt wurde. Darüberhinaus keine Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe

Die Ausstattung und auch die Lage der Wohnung sind super! Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche, mit allem was man zum kochen braucht! Auch der Rest der Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail bestückt. Die Lage ist Traumhaft, man ist direkt am Strand!

Es könnte auf dem Balkon eine größeren Tisch geben, sodass man auch draußen gut essen kann.

Directions to the apartment were very confusing and we spent 90 minutes until we recruited a staff person at a local bar.

Beautiful property on a hill overlooking the beach. Well equipped kitchen and nice living space (bedroom, living room, dining area). Sweet welcome gifts (wine and cheese). I found the contact person at Sevencollection to be very friendly and helpful.

I had a hard time locating the unit and using the parking spot (until I was given a more accessible location). It was sweet that Salema was so quiet in the offseason but be prepared that many stores and restaurants are closed.

Very narrow stairway to bedrooms. We had to leave our suit cases in the kitchen. Bathroom too small.

Eine Unterkunft mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Alles ist super sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Handtücher und Bettwäschewechsel inklusive. Wir würden immer wieder dort buchen...wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub dort.

Das kleine Häuschen liegt sehr zentral, jedoch in einem ruhigen Bereich des Dörfchen und fast direkt am Meer. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön möbliert und alles in bester Qualität. Sogar ein kleines Apero stand für uns bereit und Clara von Sevencollection war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und haben dir Unterkunft bereits weiterempfohlen. Vielen Dank!
