Excellent hostel

Het is een schitterend onderhouden complex. Je wordt met een golfkarretje naar je verblijf gebracht. Het appartement was heel mooi en ruim. Er waren twee terrassen.

De steile weg naar het complex vanuit het centrum was heel zwaar om te lopen. Het hotel heeft hiervoor een golfkarretje die je brengt en haalt. Maar wij kwamen wandelend vanaf de Fisherman's Trail.

Dom był bardzo duży, komfortowy dla 5 osób, z klimatyzacją w każdym pokoju. Czysta przestrzeń i naprawdę dobra lokalizacja. Basen piękny i przestronny, bez tłumów, dla nas było to świetne miejsce na relaks i jako baza wypadowa do innych miast na południu. Pogoda w tym rejonie jest nieco chłodniejsza, jest wietrznie (gdy w Lagos było ponad 30 stopni w Salema 22 stopnie)

This is an absolute gem. The location is perfect and the amenities are excellent. The ocean view villa offers a breathtaking sight, and there are many good restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is also very lovely. What a wonderful discovery.

Localização do alojamento muito perto da praia. Bom apartamento com todas as condições para os hóspedes. Vista fantástica.

O acesso ao apartamento é completamente inadequado para pessoas com dificuldades de mobilidade. Para chegar ao mesmo desde o estacionamento privado do veículo até á porta da casa tínhamos que subir cerca 78 degraus…. Para além disso a piscina encontrava se sem qualquer condição pra tomar banho. A água estava suja e verde.

Enorm grote en luxe villa: upgrade van 2 naar 3 slaapkamers was helemaal bijzonder (zeker voor 1 nacht). Personeel was enorm vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Shuttleservice was een welkome bonus: het ligt bovenop een heuvel waardoor het strand en dorp beter bereikbaar is. Lekker zwembad met gezellige bar (en heerlijke mocktails!) De villa's zelf zijn erg fris ingericht, prima bedden, gigantische kastruimte én badproducten van l'Occitane. Dit was tijdens de hele trail verreweg het mooiste verblijf: we boeken voor volgend jaar een hele week.

Ondanks dat eigenlijk alles perfect was, twee kleine puntjes van (opbouwende) kritiek: in de keuken stond het serviesgoed allemaal zo hoog in de kasten, dat ik er niet bij kon. En de waterkoker was helemaal verkalkt, waardoor ik thee zetten geen fijn idee vond.

We got upgraded into a 3 bed townhouse which was lovely, very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Really nice balcony on the rooftop too :) the swimming pool was good too

Die Lage und die Aussicht, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, das großzügige Raumangebot, zwei Bäder plus WC extra.

Wir buchen oft über diese Plattform und unsere Bewertungen sind fast immer zwischen 8-10. Leider ist das in diesem Fall nicht möglich. Wir haben bereits vor knapp 1 Woche eine Nachricht an die Geschäftsführung geschrieben und warten noch auf eine Reaktion. Den Kontakt haben wir von der Rezeption erhalten. Aus unserer Sicht muss die Anlage dringend saniert werden. Ein großes Thema ist wohl „Feuchtigkeit“ und Abnutzung … Die erste zugewiesene Wohnung hatte einen strengen modrigen Geruch nach Keller/Schimmel, ein WC war von Beginn an verstopft. Wir bekamen eine andere Wohnung, welche nicht so stark roch. Es war schon später am Abend, man nimmt es so hin. Nach und nach fielen andere Dinge auf: viele Schimmelflecken an den Decken der Bäder, die Düsen der Whirl Badewanne dreckig, mein Kissen hatte unter dem Bezug viele Flecken, sogar mein Bettlaken war fleckig, die Glasgeländer waren schmutzig, sodass man nicht gut hindurch sehen konnte (auf meine Bitte hin wurden sie trotzdem nicht gereinigt), ich hab es an einer Stelle dann selber ausprobiert, es ist durchaus möglich. Dass einige Möbelstücke abgenutzt sind haben andere schon geschrieben, auch die Lüftung in einem Bad hat nicht funktioniert, und die Waschmaschine war am Dichtungs-Rand stark verschmutzt. Wir haben Fotos und Videos gemacht, ich stelle sie hier nicht rein. Es geht mir nicht darum, der Einrichtung zu schaden, sondern aufmerksam zu machen auf die notwendige Sanierung und auch anderen Gästen bewusst zu machen, welche Qualität man zu erwarten hat. Wir haben an der Rezeption nicht alle Mängel gemeldet, weil man irgendwann einfach keine Lust mehr hat, sich ständig zu beschweren und man stellt sich halt auf das Niveau ein und versucht sich am Positiven zu freuen, das es ja durchaus auch gibt; wir sind dann einen Tag früher abgereist und erwarten uns eine Entschädigung.

Very nice sea view from the terrace of our villa! A nicely laid out house with a lot of space for 5 people. Spacious kitchen with necessary appliances. Close to the beach of Salema village, which was good enough. Convenient free parking. Availability of free transfer to/from the beach. Overall very clean (with the exception of terrace).

Cleanliness of the terrace - could be better. And then - small annoyances: (1) Towels - we were 5 people staying at the house, but not a single time were we given 5 sets of towels - always 4, or even 3.5 on one day. I had to call the reception every time, and they were always swift to bring another set (thanks!), but ... the next day it would again be removed, leaving 4. Why? No clue. After some days we just stopped trying and made do with what we had. (2) Coffee capsules and dishwasher capsules - a couple are given free, the next you need to buy. Well, after you paid ~3k eur for a week - really, buy capsules? Please, guys, just dont do that - if you think it will break the bank, just add 10 eur to the total price quietly, and dont spoil the overall impression about otherwise really fine place! You will not get much richer with these 10 eur, believe me! (3) Other kitchen consumables (paper towels, table wipes) - again, them not being available undeservedly spoils the good impression.

Prachtig huis, alles was aanwezig. We kwamen iets te vroeg aan maar mochten van alle faculteiten gebruik maken. Er was een schuttelservice dat was geweldig, we werden naar het restaurant in het dorpje gebracht het was namelijk zo verschrikkelijk stijl dat lopen moeilijk was.

Piękny dom z 3 sypialniami i 3 łazienkami oraz przestronną częścią wspólną. Wszystko było idealnie czyste i przygotowane. Wielkim plusem są tarasy i prywatny ogródek, a także miejsce parkingowe pod samymi drzwiami. Możliwość transportu na plażę (melex lub samochód z kierowcą) to game changer! Bardzo ładny teren, duży basen. Zdecydowanie polecamy!

Es handelt sich um eine sehr gepflegte Anlage mit freundlichen Personal. Das Haus war groß, sauber und komfortabel.

Wir hatten eigentlich ein Haus weiter Richtung Dorf bzw. Strand gebucht, hatten aber ein etwas höher liegendes Haus erhalten.

Pool was great for families. Plenty of sun loungers. Property was excellent. Spacious, modern and well maintained. The availability of a shuttle down and/or back to the beach was excellent. Never waited more than 10 minutes day or night

The apartment was spacious, much bigger than I expected. The view was magnificent. We had everything we needed in the apartment.

The dishwasher wasn't really cleaning anything. It needed repair, salt and other detergents. There weren't many plates and cups, so we had to often clean dishes in the sink.

A nossa estadia no NAU Salema Beach Village foi absolutamente espetacular! O aldeamento tem uma localização privilegiada. As moradias são modernas, extremamente limpas, espaçosas e totalmente equipadas, proporcionando todo o conforto e a sensação de estarmos em casa, mas com o bónus de uma vista fantástica. A equipa foi de uma simpatia e profissionalismo inexcedíveis, sempre pronta a ajudar com um sorriso e a garantir que nada nos faltava. Aproveitámos ao máximo a piscina e a tranquilidade envolvente para recarregar energias. É, sem dúvida, um refúgio de excelência no Algarve que recomendamos a 100% e para o qual esperamos voltar muito brevemente!

Só uma situação que podem e devem corrigir, na piscina a boia salva vidas está danificada, como tal não tem utilidade e os chuveiros também apresentam degradação pelo que seria louvável a sua substituição.

Appartamento grandissimo con tanti spazi esterni e vista spettacolare sul mare, anche una terrazza sul tetto! Le villette sono ben tenute, l'impressione è di ordine e tranquillità. Apprezzabile il servizio navetta che porta al paesino (raggiungibile comunque a piedi facilmente). La vicina spiaggia di Salema è una meraviglia. Mi è dispiaciuto lasciare l'alloggio e il posto, spero un giorno di tornarci. È la prima volta che in viaggio passo volentieri parecchie ore in casa al posto che precipitarmi a visitare posti. Super!!!

Fermo restando che l'alloggio ha soddisfatto le aspettative, ci sono alcuni piccoli dettagli che possono essere facilmente migliorati per renderlo ancora più accogliente: più attrezzatura da cucina, tovaglie, porta asciugamani, occorrente base per cucinare. Piccole cose che faciliterebbero la fruizione di uno spazio così spettacolare. La carta igienica non può essere gettata nel wc....probabilmente sono regole del luogo, ma è difficile abituarsi.

Es war alles sehr geräumig angelegt und gepflegt. Der Meerblick vom Balkon aus war traumhaft.

Piscina com bastantes buracos no fundo com possibilidade de causar ferimentos nos pés. Não era efetuada uma limpeza geral da vila, não aspiravam o chão. Na troca de toalhas ficavam sempre em falta algumas toalhas. Existiam lâmpadas fundidas na vila assim como uma das torneiras do WC não funcionava.

Kitchen wasn't well equipped enough, no cleaning products for us to keep property clean ourselves, ie dishwasher tablets, kitchen surface spray. Also not enough utensils for cooking at the property.

非常舒服轻松的度假酒店，位置极好，有免费车辆接送到海边，停车也方便，厨房用品很齐全，房间空调也够用，露台也很舒服。全家人一起度假非常惬意，泳池也满意，前往附近的超市开车5分钟，非常满意。

A vivenda é espaçosa, confortável e tranquila. Dormimos muito bem e a cozinha permitiu-nos preparar os nossos jantares sem dificuldade. Salema é uma vila muito bonita e os funcionários foram sempre simpáticos e disponíveis.

A internet é muito fraca, o check-in atrasou-se e a chave falhava ocasionalmente. A reposição de toalhas e outros itens só acontecia quando pedíamos. A piscina comunitária é muito ventosa e havia crianças a desrespeitar constantemente as regras de segurança sem qualquer intervenção dos funcionários, pelo que acabámos por desistir de a utilizar.

Het terras bij de woonkamer niet overdekt, miste een was droogrek en diverse lampen defect.

De gratis shuttle naar het strand, top! Ook de dagelijkse handdoeken service en schoonmaak zijn erg prettig. Daarnaast hele ruime en mooie huisjes!

De wifi is op piek momenten erg zwak en de airconditioning functioneerde niet optimaal.

Vistas al mar espectaculares

I liked the complex, the house itself, the atmosfere and the space inside the house. There are a lor of details that are coming to make your vacation amazing!

El concepto del alojamiento es una mini ciudad con casas amplias y muy cómodas Hay que destacar que ofrece un servicio constante y gratuito de traslado a la playa en buggie o coche. Eso es un plus importante porque es una zona con grandes cuestas

The location is good, close to a very nice beach.

Some of the windows were not properly cleaned. The layout of the house was inconvenient, with the bedrooms located at street level upon entry, while the kitchen and living area were upstairs. Considering the price we paid, we expected a modern smart TV with access to streaming apps, but the TV was an old model and did not provide this option. As a result, we were unable to watch our preferred content. Even the available live TV channels did not include any channels showing the World Cup games. The clothes drying rack provided was also very poor quality, with missing parts. Due to the strong winds on the balconies, it was repeatedly blown over, causing clothes to fall onto the floor and making it difficult to dry them properly. Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price paid.

The location allowed nice views of the Sea and town. The pool area with cafe was nice.

My bed was horribly uncomfortable-something sharp stabbing me and the plastic cover over mattress annoying. I had to sleep on the pillows because the mattress was so bad-lumpy, maybe bed spring poking out.

Bungalow con todo lo necesario, vistas al mar impresionantes. Dos habitaciones grandes con baño propio. Salón muy espacioso, y amplia y cómoda terraza. A 5 min de la playa de Salema en coche aunque te pueden llevar cuando quieras en buggi. Cerca de playas preciosas a las que ir con tu coche. Te facilitan cosas para los bebés o niños que necesites. Lo recomiendo. Volveremos seguro

Our stay in May was with a sea view and the view was spectacular but this time we chose a poolside villa which was equally as lovely. Both options have their pros and cons but the facilities are exceptional particularly with the buggy service. it was great to be near the pool but I missed my sea view :-) and it was. bit further from the minimarlet and the beach but with the on site buggy service it makes it less of an issue.

My only slight negative would be the wifi isn't great and seems to drop off quite a bit.

Great spot in a lovely village. All very clean and spacious and close to the beach although it’s quite a hill to walk back. However there’s a golf buggy always ready to take or collect on demand.

The beds have a crackly mattress protector. There is a pool bar but it would be nice to have somewhere to buy basics like milk etc.

A lovely villa-style hotel with a peaceful, spacious atmosphere. The villas are clean, well laid out, and offer plenty of space, with pleasant private terraces to enjoy. It is a great choice for a quiet and relaxing stay.

The interior feels slightly dated and somewhat worn in places. It also does not look quite as polished or as attractive as in the promotional photos.

Casa,limpeza, utensílios de cozinha tudo completamente limpo e organizado para nos receber. Piscina, bar tudo muito bom. O staff super dedicado e competente a Rafaela nos atendeu com tatal presteza. Eu e minha família entramos e saímos satisfeitos. Próximo ano voltaremos a desfrutar da paz e relaxamento que o ambiente nos proporcionou.

Funcionários super simpáticos. Vão levar e buscar os hóspedes à praia. Disponibilizam automóvel para alguma situação que o hóspede precise. Todos os dias fazem limpeza. Camas confortáveis. Cozinha equipada. Casa confortável, boas instalações.

Pontualmente, sentia-se odor a esgoto na parte de baixo da casa.

Ruime huizen, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn zwembad, met voldoende bedjes. Handig zwembad restaurantje erbij met een simpele kaart waarvan iedereen wel iets lust. Fijn verblijf voor groot gezin, wij hadden met onze 3 kinderen meer dan genoeg ruimte en mijn ouders zijn ook nog komen logeren. Er is een gratis shuttlebus naar het strand, ook in de avond.

De huizen zijn ietwat gehorig, wat vooral voor onze buren niet zo fijn was want wij hebben luidruchtige kinderen 😅

Sehr schöne Anlage in einem netten kleinen Ort mit wunderschönen Sandstrand und vielen kleinen Lokalen. Die Anlage bietet einen Shuttle Service zum Strand, zum Pool oder Restaurants im Ort, das war aufgrund der Lage am Berg wirklich super. Supermarkt ist auch direkt im Ort. Das Haus selbst war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Pooltücher bekam man auch und konnte man jederzeit wechseln. Wirklich ein top Service!!!

Lovely village setting with a beautiful beach. Lovely small restaurant with special call out to Casa Pizza. Also excellent Indian restaurant Spice cottage. We stayed in the Nua Salema beach apartments. Lovely village if you want a quiet break.

Our apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Loved being able to see the beach from the terrace. Having beach towels was nice as well.

Nothing significant but it would be nice to have more dishes and found the dishwasher did not clean the dishes well - they came out with a film on everything.

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect! The staff was the most service oriented staff we have ever meet no matter what time and about what we approached them. The village offers free transportation to the beach which is absolutely perfect since the walk is very hard. Absolutely the best place me and my family of five have ever stayed! We had the 230m3 house with 3 beedrooms which was very very nice!

Very helpful staff and front desk. The buggy drivers that bring you up and down the hill are very friendly and can tell you a lot about Salema and the area. The pool is spectacular and good drinks at the pool bar. Beautiful location in a quiet little village. Would highly recommend!

The town house was spacious, clean and very well equipped. It was also very quiet and the bedrooms were comfortable and cool. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful especially a lovely Brazilian waiter at the pool bar!

A little bit of a jaunt up and down the hill to the beach, but there is a courtesy bus available.
