Romantik Villa

We loved our stay in this beautiful town, and Romantik villa is the perfect choice, everything has been well thought out to create a relaxing stay, from the heated pool to the little touches, such as the beach bar area, with drinks honesty bar, and the morning delivery of bread and pastries,the rooms are beautifully dressed and have everything you need, Salema has it all !!and so does Romantik villa, the hosts are on hand to help with any requests, and probably the only downside is the walk up the steep hill after dinner, but that is the case for pretty much all Salema properties so cant complain. We will 100% be back as its onbe of our favourite spots in the world. Simon & Ruth

Não houve nada que não tenhamos gostado mas apenas de notar que a cozinha podia estar melhor equipada com toalha ou individuais para realizar as refeições e entra alguma claridade logo de manhã por não existirem estores.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und sieht aus wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Oliver, Patricia & und ihr süßer Hund Papaya sind wirklich perfekte Gastgeber. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass man aufgrund Mangels eines Herdes oder Backofens keine Mahlzeiten selbst zubereiten kann. Allerdings sind die Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Hatten den besten Fisch hier 👍

Just loved the place.

Romantik Villa is the most beautiful place! It is peaceful, tranquil and a place to re charge your batteries. Silvie met us and was super helpful in showing us the ropes. The owner Olivier had been away but we met him on Wednesday. A lovely man who is as relaxing as his villa. His beautiful dog Papaya is a welcome four legged friend, she is so friendly and a huge addition to ones stay. We hope to return next year as a weeks stay was too short. My husband and I loved our stay at Romantik Villa. Set in the hills above the small village of Salema, the property is quiet but easily accessible to the town and nearby restaurants and a short daytrip to other towns and activities in the Algarve region. The property is on beautiful grounds with ocean views and is well-cared for with attention to detail. The owner, Olivier, and his staff are friendly and responsive. We stayed in the Praia Santa suite and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Although the sleeping area in this unit is smallish (restless sleepers that we are, we slept soundly on the very comfortable bed) and closet space limited, the large bath was simply luxurious. We had private access to a large patio with outdoor kitchen overlooking the ocean that was amazing. On a very blustery afternoon, we were able to enjoy a glass of vino and the view in this open but protected space. The "welcome" basket was generous and the daily, tasty pastries so fresh, they were still warm! The only thing missing was an extra pod or two of coffee and yogurt which, if we had planned ahead, was just a short walk away to the nearby market!!

Olivier and Patricia are wonderful hosts: professional, efficient, and friendly. They made us welcome and feel at home during our entire stay. Romantik Villa is an absolute gem in Salema - excellent location with a beautiful view, private and intimate setting, great facilities, swimming pool and bbq, and clean well-equipped rooms. Fresh bread deliver every morning makes for great start of each day !

The property was in a lovely location - quiet with lovely views. The rooms were clean and very well appointed. The bread and pastries which were delivered fresh each morning were delicious. Communication before and during our stay was very excellent and Patricia and Olivier were wonderful hosts.

Salema is a gem of a place. The villa and surrounding grounds/pool/etc were great. Sylvie is so lovely. Overall very relaxing.

You need a car to get to back from the beach (uphill) comfortably in the hot weather. We had a car, so not an issue for us.

Eine ruhige Wohnlage oberhalb des Strandes von Salema. Unser Appartement hatte eine Außenküche mit Terrasse und herrlichem Blick auf das Meer. Frische Brötchen und Gebäck wurden täglich durch unsere wunderbare Betreuerin Sylvie geliefert. Bequeme Betten und ein großes, komfortables Badezimmer rundeten unser sehr positives Urlaubserlebnis ab. In der gepflegten Außenanlage gab es noch einen Pool mit Sonnenliegen und einen 'chill out' Bereich... Ein hervorragender bebilderter Reiseführer der Gastgeber wurde von uns in puncto Ausflügen und Restaurant-Empfehlungen genutzt. Immer wieder gerne!

Wir haben uns in der Romantik Villa sehr wohl gefühlt. Patricia u. Olivier sind beides so herzliche Menschen, die sehr darauf bedacht sind dass die Gäste sich bei Ihnen wohlfühlen. Die traumhafte Lage, das schöne Zimmer mit Meerblick, die tolle Ausstattung der Suite, das leckere Frühstück und auch die liebevoll gestaltete Anlage sind einfach nur top !!! 👍 Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Romantik Villa is a truly special place. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find a thoughtfully appointed room, complete with a bottle of red wine and a kitchenette stocked with bottled water, Nespresso coffee, orange juice, yogurt, muesli, Nutella, butter, and jam. The next morning, Olivier brought us a basket of freshly baked pastries and bread from the local bakery. Everything was fresh and delicious. These thoughtful touches allowed us to relax and appreciate the beautiful setting from the moment we arrived. On our final evening, we picked up some local specialties and enjoyed dinner on our terrace overlooking the beautiful garden and the sea beyond. It was the perfect way to conclude a week-long stay in Portugal. Romantik Villa's warm hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and tranquil setting create an experience that is both relaxing and memorable.

Beautiful location and room was lovely. The staff could not have been nicer... what a perfect little town in the Algarve's. I did not want to leave!

This property is tucked away on the hill overlooking the ocean and provides a beautiful getaway that feels luxurious. There is a beautiful pool, a community sitting area, a lovely landscaped garden, and each apartment has an outdoor sitting area as well. Olivier and Patricia take such personal care of each guest. This was a holiday treat! We will be back!

We loved everything about the property. Our room was spacious, great bed, it was very clean, and there were so many small,personal touches. Olivier and Patricia were warm and welcoming. The daily morning pastries were delicious. The views are outstanding. We can’t wait to return!

Ja, zu diesem Haus muss man ein Stück hinauf laufen, aber es lohnt sich und war kein Hindernis! Dafür ist es ruhig, gepflegt, die Begrüßung herzlich, die Gastgeber sehr liebevolle Menschen mit denen wir sehr gerne gute Gespräche führten! Wir wurden versorgt mit Wein, Kaffee, Marmelade, Nutella, tollem Gebäck, Brötchen usw. Und dazu ist der Hund eine liebe Hündin zum kuscheln 🙌

Das Zimmer war mit Stil und vielen kleinen Details hübsch eingerichtet; das Frühstück mit Müesli, Tee, Kaffee, frischen Brötchen am Morgen ausgezeichnet (!) und der Empfang durch die Gastgeber Patrizia und Olivier sehr herzlich!! Insgesamt einer toller Aufenthalt, der wir jeden der Ruhe und Erholung wünscht, wärmstens empfehlen können!!!

Über die angegebene Adresse (Urbanizaçao Beach Villas Lote M5) in booking.com konnten wir das Hotel mit google maps nicht finden. Über die Suche "Romantik Villa" waren wir dann erfolgreich.

Tranquil piece of paradise located high above Salema with an exceptional view!

View and location were great. Balcony allowed privacy and access to kitchen amenities. Owners were kind and thoughtful about our needs. Best and most comfortable bed and bedding of our whole trip.

The hosts were wonderful and met us upon arrival to help us park and guide us to our rooms. The place was spacious and beautiful. The hosts provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. They brought us fresh bread, yogurt, granola, juice, and coffee for breakfast! I highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area!

Every morning, the host/hostess arrived with a basket of fresh warm bread and Portuguese custard tarts. This along with the Nespresso style coffee machine and a liberal supply of pods, made every morning something to look forward to. The location is on top of a hill, but there is plenty of parking at the front entrance. The beach is a short 10 minute walk away and the beach is amazing too. Olivier and Patricia (hosts) and Papapaya (their sweet doggy) are on sight, but seldom seen. They were a great source of local information and their dinner suggestions were spot on. I only wish that I had more time to spend at this wonderful location.

This has nothing to do with the Romantik Villa but the climb up to the house after a full dinner was a challenge!

Everything needed for a good breakfast was provided. A bonus was that the owner came each morning about 8:30 with a cheerful greeting and a basket of fresh rolls and pasties.

Wir haben auf der Durchreise (Fischerweg) im Romantik Villa für eine Nacht übernachtet. Die Gastgeber waren äusserst nett und haben sich für die persönliche Begrüssung Zeit genommen. Auch haben sie uns Tipps für Restaurants im Dorf gegeben und für unsere Reiseroute. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten war schön und sehr gepflegt. Am Morgen wurden frische Brötchen gebracht fürs Frühstück. Im Zimmer gab es eine Kaffeemaschine mit Frühstück (Joghurt, Müesli, Konfitüre etc.), und eine Flasche Wein inklusive.

Oliviere and Patricia were incredible hosts. The attention to detail in the room was amazing. Communication before arriving was excellent. They also provided excellent information during our visit. What's App is a great way to communicate with them. I would gladly return again.

Amazing location… Private and small. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and even brought us a basket of fresh baked goods in the morning.

Moderne liebevolle Unterkunft mit schönem Pool und Frühstück auf der Terasse.

Gepflegte kleine Anlage mit super lieber Betreuung durch die Eigentümer. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Unser Zimmer im EG „Figueira“ war sehr neuwertig und sauber.

Einziges Manko ist vielleicht der steile Berg, der vom Dorf/Strand zurückzulegen ist, aber dafür ist es eben auch so schön ruhig in der Anlage.

Exceptionally clean with all the facilities needed including a large fridge and a hot plate for cooking to an ‘honesty bar’ that has beer and ice cream at a very reasonable price. The most comfortable Sun Loungers are located around a decent sized pool in beautiful gardens. The hosts could not do more for their guests from the personal welcome to hand delivering breakfast baskets every morning. Nothing was too much trouble for superb hosts who clearly value their excellent reputation. Whilst the walk up and down the steep hill to the village will be hard for some, the tranquil Romantik Villa makes it worth it while. We could not recommend this place higher and will certainly be looking to return to some the best hosts we have encountered.

What a beautiful and serene space! We had read somewhere that the village of Selema would be the "vacation from our vacation", and Romantik Villa made this very much true! The owners were so gracious. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We have nothing but positive to say about Romantik Villa.

We had an exceptional stay at this beautiful and peaceful place that we will always remember, everything was just perfect. The room was nicely decorated, and there was breakfast available in our room (cereals, jam, etc.) and the next morning we received fresh bread from the owner, who are very kind and charming persons. La tranquilidad que se respiraba, todo el sitio en sí me encantó. Súper limpio, no faltaba ni un detalle, nos dieron fruta, trajeron pan por la mañana, soy celiaca y el hombre recordó ese detalle y me trajo pan y magdalenas sin gluten. Simplemente impecable. Volveré.

Superfreundliche Gastgeber!!

We were there for the occasion of our wedding anniversary- number 36 so not a special one, but it's always nice to mark the occasion. The whole of the site is beautifully landscaped and cared for and the accommodation was excellent, with lots of nice little touches, good lighting and a comfortable bed. Sylvie delivered the breakfast bread and pastries with a big smile and was a great hostess.

The negative,of course, is the climb up to the villa from the village but this was pointed out in advance and I'm sure taxis were available. We tackled it twice and that was more than sufficient in the heat of summer. We were a bit confused about location initially, but you just have to keep going, up to the top. All in all, a lovely stay.

Romantik Villa is a little piece of paradise here on earth! Beautiful and quiet surroundings, wonderful view of the ocean The hosts are lovely and always react swiftly to any needs and wishes and bring fresh pastries every day in the morning which makes for a delicious breakfast! It's a bit of a walk uphill from the beach and the center of the town (about 10 minutes) but it's completely doable and keeps you healthy anyways ;) The facilities are modern and very tastefully decorated. There is a hot plate and some dishes available so it is possible to cook simple dishes. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to be back!

Romantic Villa is a charming oasis in the delightful beach town of Salema. You can relax in serenity by the pool, enjoy beverages from the honor bar while enjoying the view and appreciating the chic surroundings. It’s a short walk down to town with its beautiful beach and multiple excellent restaurants. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The reception could not be more warm.
