Kelly's Beachfront Apartments

The facility is nothing compared to what the image on the website depicts. Upon entering the apartment, we couldn't handle the smell of the room.

The location was good, the place is so quiet. It is a suitable place for couples to spend quality time together. Everything was excellent.

The front sliding door did not lock although the security gate did. Just some maintenance is required. There was no provision of fresh milk and only enough tea/coffee for one cup. Little tweaks will add huge value - supply enough tea/coffee for at least 2 cups for each adult and a 250 ml fresh milk

Fijn bed, mooi bad, prima douche Keuken te basic. Het was koud en geen kacheltje te vinden, dus op de elektrische deken om warm te worden. De schuifdeur open en dicht en op slot was elke keer weer een gevecht en een krachttoer.

Nothing everything was perfect except that some board games are needed for entertainment like 30 seconds or cards.

Wir reisen seit 2 Wochen durch Südafrika doch diese Unterkunft ist nicht zu toppen in dieser Preisklasse. Sehr gross mit solider, schöner Ausstattung. Alles was man brauch. Der Meerblick ist umwerfend. Riesen Terrasse. Nette Gastgeberin, die gleich all Fragen beantwortet. Auf jeden Fall wieder sollten wir nochmal herkommen.

The WiFi did not always work

We arrived very late but the owner was able to give us proper directions on how to open the gate and get keys to the apartment.

The coffee and sugar jars were dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. The kettle kept tripping the power, so we were unable to make tea.

It was such a beautiful apartment with literally everything we needed down to ice bucket. It was very clean and spacious and right next to the beach.

We stayed at Kelly's Beachfront Apartments on Thursday, 11 June, and overall had a pleasant stay, although there were some disappointing aspects to our experience. We arrived at approximately 14:30, which was after the official check-in time of 14:00. We had also informed the property about an hour beforehand that we were on our way. Unfortunately, upon arrival, our unit was not ready and it became apparent that it had not yet been cleaned after the previous guests had checked out. As a result, we had to wait around 30 minutes while the housekeeping staff prepared the unit. This was frustrating, as we had travelled a long distance and were looking forward to resting immediately after our arrival. The housekeeping staff were very apologetic and polite throughout, and it was clear that the situation was not their fault. Because the cleaning had to be rushed, the unit was not cleaned to the standard one would expect. The bathroom had a noticeable urine smell, which was unpleasant and detracted from our comfort. That said, the apartment itself is beautiful, the location is outstanding, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The property is situated in a perfect location and has the potential to be a 10/10 destination. Unfortunately, due to the issues we experienced with check-in and cleanliness, I can only rate our stay a 7/10. With better management of arrivals and housekeeping schedules, this property could easily provide an excellent guest experience.

Die Eingangstür ist eine grosse Fensterscheibe die sich nur sehr schwer schieben lässt. Ging fast nur zu zweit. Leichter Kanal Geruch im Bad.

Staff was very friendly. All necessities available without asking. Apartment exceptionally clean and fresh. I wish I could stay more 🤗

Vriendelijke mensen. Prachtig uitzicht en zeer comfortabel appartement. Keukentje is prima en alles is aanwezig. 1 minuut lopen naar een heerlijk strand met fijne bankjes om lekker te genieten.

Está en la playa, solo hay que cruzar la carretera y bajar por la escalera. Muy amplio, bien decorado, cocina muy completa y una bañera de cine.

Las rejas necesitan un poco de pintura. En el techo del dormitorio hay una mancha de humedad que no es propia de este establecimiento.

Front door had a lace curtain only that compromised privacy, especially at night.

Basin not draining with normal speed. No sound proof from the floor above, I could hear movements from the the floor above.

Modern, clean and friendly staff. Right opposite the main beach was nice to go for a morning and afternoon walk on the beach.

With the parking area right opposite, public had access to come for sundowners that ended up in parking lot parties so it was noisy over weekends. But during weekdays it was not as noisy.

The place had an awful smell. It was not clean at all. The main door was broken and could not be locked. Only the trelli door was lockable. Tap water was not filtered and also had a bad sea smell. I'd advise they put in filters on both the shower and the kitchen taps.

The view was spectacular as well as the accommodation. Glass enclosed patio as well as a large outdoor area to sit and watch the ocean.

Almost nothing negative to say about this place. The only minor irritation was the staff being loud early in the morning as their quarters were directly attached to our unit.

The place is as advertised. It looks stunning, with modern finishes. Loved how spacious it is.

The TV required us to log into our own personal Netflix and DSTV accounts. The property doesn't make provision for guests.

Neither I nor Booking.com could get hold of the host to give us access to the property. I had to find alternative accommodation or sleep in the street.

Tolle Lage, tolle Ausstattung.

Vollständiges Geschirr und Küche aber keinerlei Salz/Pfeffer…. Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

This place is PERFECT, Top Notch Quality everything, Inside, Outside, Location is magical, no smell of mould as is usually common with Beach Front Houses, Id give this place 15/10- id normally gatekeep a good place like this but then again, everyone deserves a chance to experience the best things for an insanely low price

I didnt like that i only booked 1 Night- if I had known id have had my long stay here...

Der Strandparkplatz ist Treffpunkt der Jugend. Es kann Abends schon mal etwas lauter werden. Hat uns aber im Schlafzimmer nicht gestört.

Apartment is beautiful and modern at an affordable price. It is close to the beach and also close to restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful. I had a great stay. Definitely booking again.

The location is across from a blue flag beach. The view is beautiful. The apartment is clean and well appointed. The bathroom and showers were top class. We found the beds very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Booking in was easy and the directions were perfect . Free internet and secure parking is always a huge plus

Only two small glitches. We were a party of five and the complimentary coffee etc was barely enough for a cup or two. No sweetener provided. No coffee pods or milk but they were provided as soon as I queried it. A big thank you for responding so quickly. The second small glitch was the bedroom television. No television to watch as Netflix can only be accessed if you use your own account and YouTube was also unavailable.

The location opposite the beach is fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Die Wohnung ist in einem hochwertigen Ausstattungszustand und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Zu der Wohnung hatten wir eine überdachte Garage.

Wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer (auch andere Lage) als uns auf den Bildern vermittelt wurde. Da die Ausstattung dieselbe war beließen wir es dabei.

The hostess, Melissa melted my heart before I got to the apartment. She did her best to meet my needs. I will certainly stay at this place in the future, i highly reccomend it!! The attendant, Dorothy was so helpful and always available!! Keep it up Dorothy you really made a real home fo us💗

The room did not have an airconditioner.

Modern and clean

There was no privacy by our bedrooms. A child was running and playing quite loud. And we could not leave the curtain open. Also very hot for only a fan and not airconditioning. The class panels by front door is lovely but once again everyone can see from outside so maybe consider to sand it that you can at least walk in your pyjamas

Besonders gut hat uns die Lage zugesagt. Die Nähe zum tollen Strand, Frühstücksmöglichkeiten geschmackvolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Ein Ort zum entspannen und den Urlaub zu genießen.

Everything was perfect for us

I was hoping to have a heater

Staying here is always a highlight for me, I book it every time I come back to Port Alfred it is a home away from home. The location is stunning and the customer service is at a very high standard. They really made us feel looked after and like we could fully relax and be at home, which is something I appreciate a lot.

There is literally nothing not to like.
