The lighting that comes into the room. I would suggest a lite tint on the roof panels to block out SOME light. Not everyone that goes away wants to wake up when the sun comes up lol would be nice of you could lie in a bit 🤪

The owner of this place he doesn't know how to treat guests , he told us visitors are not allowed and he chased us out at 12 midnight , he took our bags and throw them outside and he even broke our alcohol he said guests are not allowed but while I was booking they offered me 1bed with 2 single beds . I didn't understand y he said visitors are not allowed, but he offered 3 beds. He called his security company we also called the police to come and solve the problem and end up living the place and look for another place to sleep it was 1oclock in the morning we were wearing pajamas and he was pushing us to get out of his place ..this man he is so abusive including his wife same wtzup group .I don't recommend this place .

Breakfast was delicious. We also felt safe and secure during our stay. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Port Alfred.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at Sheilan House, the place was clean and beautiful and we had a nice time chilling in the lovely swimming pool. The host and hostess were very friendly and always willing to assist. I highly recommend this place, and it will definitely be our home away from home, the next time we visit Port Alfred.

Reviewed Dec 16, 2024I like the whole place, very nice. Felt like home away from home. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Felt very safe and it's in the center of the city you don't drive far to get anywhere.
I did not like the fact that our towels where not changed, had to use the same towels on Sunday, only noticed that when I came out of the shower. Shower was also not cleaned. That's the only thing I did not like
