The location and the unit was comfortable.

There was no one to show us to our unit, we struggled to get into the door as we tried to open the wrong door in the heavy rains and got wet . The unit wasn't properly prepared, no toilet paper. The floors were wet due to rain , we had to put towels on the floor. The unit was extremely cold with one small heater. Maybe in the Summertime our experience would have been different.

We had a self-catering unit with everything we needed to have a whole bunch of fun, from watching rugby at Guido's to walking back to the chalet, enjoying the rest of the evening with friends and listening to the ocean. Awesome place to stay, highly recommended, and will return. Ps. We love the Dassie Families that live in the resort - precious.

We should have booked in longer; we needed more time to explore. Other than extending our stay next time, we wouldn't change anything.

Great location, no need to worry about noise as other chalets are far.

The Wifi didn't work properly or at all on some phones. 1 key is not enough; our chalet was far, and we had to take a long walk to open the gate for people.

Wifi was weak and eventually went off on the 2nd day. The Jaccuzi had cold water and the bathrooms were not en-suit as per advert. We had to pay extra to access the games and jaccuzi which is not specified prior the bookings.

Absolutely loved the chalet and also how the activities are right there. it's such a family typa place. Loved how the manager quicky responds to messages and gets things fixed

I had seen prev reviews when I was considering booking and when I spoke to the staff before arrival I asked if the sliding door was working as I had seen previous complaints, I was assured that all will be in order upon my arrival but unfortunately the latch wasn't working when we got there and we couldn't lock the sliding door on our first night.

Facilities available for kids, are not all clean, or available. Jacuzzi, very dirt and not hot.

The property was clean and the receptionist will really helpful - we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again

The place has nice play area for kids and is easily accessible to the west ⛱️ beach.

We really loved the activities the scenery was beautiful,The rooms were really spacious,outside you weren't really sure but once you got inside it was cozy yet there was more than enough space for all of us and the whole place was just beautiful.

We didn't really like the noise going on from the other guests,The noise wasn't really controlled and a lot of families didn't get to enjoy the pool area or swim in the pool because those guests were a big number and they crowded the pool that some of the other families gave up and left the pool area,we had to come back later in the night and there was already a cool breeze that didn't allow us to swim when it was quieter but other than that the stay was AMAZING.

The chalets are clean and serviced daily My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and I really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Though we did not cook during our stay, it will be great if they can upgrade the cooking utensils and table setting utensils.

We did not have breakfast at the place we were staying. Initially it was tricky to get to the venue but we managed with GPS.

The place is beautiful, safe and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Our chalet was not swept after the previous guests. The lounge and kitchen area was not obvious but the bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom had visible dirt. There were clumps of hair extensions on the bedroom floor and a make up brush that had fallen and was not picked up. The cleaning lady only came and wiped the counter tops the next day.

Windows were stuck as well as some of the doors leading to the veranda. Slow release of water in shower/bath, maybe blocked?

Schöne Holzchalets. Super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Sauber, tägliche Reinigung. Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Schöner Pool, den wir sehr genossen haben. Kurzer Weg an den Strand. Restaurant Guido's auch nur 5 Minuten entfernt und eine kleine Beach Bar mit sehr gutem Eis. Insgesamt haben wir unser Chalet sehr genossen, besonders die tolle Aussicht auf den indischen Ozean.

Es wäre schön wenn es ein größeres Bett gäbe, nicht nur Queen Size.

Friendly staff- Namhla was the best, well received by her🥰 Even the security guard was friendly.

The family chalet was clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view. The bed was comfy and bathrooms were modern. It was close to the private entrance to the beach side. The property has a nice pool and a playground which the kids enjoyed.

It's good they cleaned very well, but when we opened the fridge, the smell of bleach was overwhelming and it stayed through our stay so they may need to adjust the amount of bleach used. Also, small thing- we paid for 2 night's stay but the complimentary tea/coffee was not refilled for the next morning even when it was empty after housekeeping so there was only enough for one coffee per adult for the first morning. Even with the above things we didn't like, we'd stay again if we visit Port Alfred again.

Our family group had two spacious, comfortably furnished chalets. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, lots of cupboard space, fresh decor, plenty of seating in the lounge and dining areas. Good daily servicing. The youngsters enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing garden chess. Convenient location for access to beach and marina, and good security.

The chalets are in need of maintenance work - the door locks and window hinges in particular. One of our chalets had water pressure issues in the bathroom. Not suitable for elderly guests or the infirm because of the distance between the car park and chalets, and lack of porters. There appears to be no ramp, only long wooden walkways with stairs.
