TV remote wasn't working. We reported twice but no assistance. Even when at the end someone came, she said she will send another remote but never arrived. Washing machine handle was broken.

I was so exhausted I needed to take a bath only to found out the was no stopper to close even the basin the door to the balcony the was no curtain you can see outside both bedrooms all the towels on the bed where damp and the air corn was not working that Sunday it was cold I’ve try to lay all the complaint to the lady who was helping the hoster but couldn’t get a specific answer I was so disappointed I needed to extend my stay but because of the treatment I got I checked out the following day.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The location met the requirements as my family had to attend an event that took place in Sandton.
The service and the facility itself was of a very poor quality. There was a sewer smell in one of the apartments which was eventually attended a day after our arrival so one did not enjoy a peaceful sleep after driving for 5 hours from KZN. The basic things were not in-place such as the batteries for the TV remote and Airconditioner. Lastly the lady who came for housekeeping refused to clean the apartments that we were using. She just dismissed the request as “we only wash the dishes and straighten the bed”. Now given that we had to stay there for the whole weekend, and we had little kids on the trip it meant we had to sweep, mop and wipe clean the place ourselves as if it was our own home while even at home we have a Domestic Worker who does such work a lot better. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I will never come back to it again.

The host sent me location, and after that he didn't communicate with me at all. The listing said there was wifi and when we arrived at the apartment there was no wifi at all. They kept ignoring my calls and texts when I wanted to enquire about the wifi, up until we checked out. Imagine arriving in another country after a long flight, and all you wanted to do was rest and reach out to your family back home, but there was NO WIFI. ARE YOU KIDDING??? WHAT ANNOYED ME MOST WAS THE FACT THAT THEY IGNORED MY CALLS AND TEXTS WHEN I TEXTED REGARDING THE WIFI. WE SPENT THE WHOLE NIGHT WITHOUT NETWORK

The fact that upon arrival our bedding was dirty even after I asked for it to be changed the cleaning ladies refused told me they will change it after 3 days they only changed the blanket that we found with blood stains. On top of that the 300 u pay daily for cleaning is for your bed to be made and wash our three plates which they told me its quick cleaning on the 3rd day they do serious cleaning of which I feel I could have made our beds and wash those 3 plates and kept my 600 if that option was available cause what was done is not cleaning I don't know what to call it 5 minutes was enough. Our their beds need to be changed they so uncomfortable shame 😠😠

The washing machine did not work unfortunately it had not been working since last week and hence had to hand wash and dryer was not hot enough to dry the clothes had to carry semi wet clothes on my way back to London. Please buy new equipment it will be so helpful

The stoppers for the bathtub and the basin were not there. There was no dishcloth. The bedsheets and blankets in both bedroom were not washed. We could smell that other guests had slept in them before us.
