Unique B&B, in the Historic City Centre of Edam

Le logement est situé dans le centre historique de Edam, il est facile de se garer un peu plus loin le long des canaux gratuitement, la station de bus qui est à 5 min à pied vous emmène à la gare de Amsterdam en 30 min. Edam est vraiment plein de charme et authentique. Le logement est bien aménagé, avec un beau séjour et surtout un très beau jardin verdoyant. Un canal longe le jardin.

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß unnd hochwertig ausgestattet, Garten und Terrasse sind traumhaft, die Lage im Zentrum von Edam perfekt. Auch die Parksituation ist gut. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir im Eingangsbereich sicher abstellen. Im Kühlschrank waren Erfrischungsgetränke, und es gab Süßigkeiten und Kaffee-und Teezubehör. Im Schlafzimmer steht ein High-tec-Ventilator. Außerdem liegt Info-Material bereit. Sehr schön ist auch das Glockenspiel der nahegelegenen Kirche.

Es gab keinerlei Kochgelegenheit und das wurde unserer Meinung nach nicht deutlich genug kommuniziert. Im Filter bei der Suche haben wir nämlich "Küche" eingegeben und es wurde uns diese Wohnung vorgeschlagen. Eine Ferienwohnung ohne Herd o.ä. haben wir in unserer langjährigen Erfahrung noch nie erlebt, und deshalb waren wir negativ überrascht. Der KI-Chat, der Fragen beantwortet, verspricht außerdem: Zitat: "eine voll ausgestattete Küche, die den Gästen zur Verfügung steht. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen, Ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten". Abgesehen davon ist auch die in der Beschreibung definitiv aufgeführte Mikrowelle nicht vorhanden. In der Dusche fehlt eine Ablagemöglichkeit für Duschgel, Seife, Shampoo etc. im Schlafzimmer gibt es keine Nachttischlampen und keine Steckdosen in Bettnähe. Es gibt auch nur eine gemeinsame Bettdecke, was nicht jeder mag. Die winzige Toilette ist nicht belüftet. Für TV-Gerät und Dusche brauchten wir eine Einführung durch den Vermieter, aber das lag vermutlich an unserer Unbedarftheit. Da die Wohnung doch relativ hochpreisig ist, waren wir nicht hundertprozentig zufrieden.

A place right in the heart of Edam, yet incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and clean. It features a delightful backyard and is decorated exactly as it should be, offering a cozy atmosphere where you can truly feel at home. If you arrive by car, you can easily find a parking spor nearby. It’s located close to supermarkets and cafes, making it extremely easy to reach anywhere the moment you step out the door. Our host Dennis has thought of everything on your behalf and is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!​ I would absolutely love to come back again!

Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und die Lage direkt im Citycenter von Edam war sensationell. Das Apartment ist sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir durften sogar das Trampolin im Garten benutzen. Es ist zudem erstaunlich ruhigt, dafür dass es so zentral liegt.

Es ist schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig so direkt in der Innenstadt zu wohnen im 1. Stock. Dadurch laufen sehr viele Personen an der Ferienwohnung vorbei und könnten hineinschauen etc... aber das ist an sich kein Problem, dafür wurden ja Jalousien erfunden und die funktionierten im Apartment dafür sehr gut.

Wie immer super gemütlich, wohnlich und top ausgestattet. Sehr nette Gastgeber!

Rien. Comme on n’est pas chez soi il y a toujours quelques différences mais rien d’important. Des lampes de chevet par exemple seraient utiles.

Increíble departamento en el centro de un pueblo hermoso. Un jardín muy cuidado y los elementos justos para hacer tu estancia perfecta. Para cualquier cosa que haga falta, los huéspedes son muy amigables y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar.

Solo por decir algo, me hubiera gustado tener algunos utensilios mas de cocina. Pero incluso con lo que tiene, ya es mucho más que la gran mayoría de alojamientos turísticos

The apartment is the ground floor of a beautifully renovated old building. It boasts a bathroom with spa tub, separate shower,2sinks and heated floors. The bed is very comfortable. New modern furniture grace the great room and the modern kitchen has all you need if you want to cook. Hosts also provide some snacks and drinks. There is a lovely private garden with a large table (gorgeous large table inside also). The washer and separate dryer are easy to use. You can pull up to the front to unload luggage then park for free along the canal. The view of the canal and the shops is lovely. The area is very quiet at night even though very central. It is an excellent place to stay if you are touring Volemdam, Marken, Hoorne and Alkmar( don’t miss the Friday morning cheese market action!) or the Zuiderzee open air museum ,which are all a close drive. There is personal attention from the hosts when you arrive and they are available if you need anything. If this accommodation is available for your dates, do not wait to book it or it will be gone. The place is fabulous!

The location was perfect, right in the center of Edam which is a wonderful place. Walking distance to everything and just 20 minute drive from amsterdam. We would definitely go again.

The apartment is situated in a prime location in the centre of Edam, yet it is quiet and peaceful. It is very spacious and has all amenities required to make it feel like a proper apartment and not a simple 'hotel stay'.

Perfect big house in convenient location of very cosy small town of Edam. Everything available for longterm stay. 7 minutes walk from bus station and supermarket. 25 minutes by bus to Amsterdam city center. Landlords are very kind, provided us with free snacks and drinks. One of the best experiences in our rich travel history. 11 from 10, highly recommended.

Everything was perfect (house location and facilities, owner, parking)! Unexpected bonus - Edam town itself - quite, old, clean with regular buses to the center of Amsterdam.
