Reviewed Sep 19, 2026No instructions on how to get keys. Had to email hotel. No signs where reception was or how to get keys. Bookings showed I did not have a reservation. First two people we asked one working at rail station and one working in hotel gift shop never heard of the hotel despite name on building. It was beside rail station. Very confusing and upsetting after 6 hour ride to Flam

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Great location! Clean and well equipped. Very homey and comfortable. Very helpful staff conducted a very thorough explanation of the apartment and even helped us upstairs with our baggage.
The only downside is the small size of one of the bedrooms and the difficulty in lugging baggage up and down the steep and circular staircase. But, don’t let that deter you, this is a great place.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Nice apartment with a gorgeous view from our deck overlooking the harbor. Flam is a very small village on the fjord that is a huge tourist destination, Two companies own the major hotels and restaurants in town and have a monopoly on pricing. Flam Ferdaminne is a hidden gem charging a fraction of what the corporate hotels were for the days we stayed. There is a grocery store a block away and several food trucks right behind the apartment.. Book early to get a harbor view. Check online for cruise ship arrivals to avoid the crowd. We loved it.

To be honest it's a shame that such a lucrative location has very little money invested in basic things like quality beds, properly functioning window blinds, blackout curtains and a modern smart TV. You're going to get very poor value for money in general when visiting such a touristic location, so perhaps we should have just been happy that nothing was broken or something?

계단을 올라가야 하는데, 다리가 불편하신 분들은 힘들수도 있겠다. 주차공간이 없어서 차는 알아서 다른곳에 주차해야한다.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Great location. Nice modern apartment. Spacious. Very nice bathroom and shower. We loved the place. The delicious food truck offerings are a one-minute walk from your front door.
Flam is expensive! Which is reflected in the price of lodging here. Parking is also expensive (we parked at P2). 420 NOK for our Friday night arrival and Sunday morning departure.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The apartment is perfectly located in the centre of Flåm. It was very comfortable and had two balconies with fantastic views over the Fjord. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful; helping us to carry our bags, letting us store our luggage after we checked out and particularly with reconfiguring the beds after I incorrectly entered the wrong age for our children on booking and they were expecting us to bring babies.
Nothing, it was great.

there's stairs with narrow steps to go up the apartment- difficult with heavy luggages, though the staff helped my husband carry them upstairs.

Un parking public est disponible, mais un peu plus loin, rendant difficile de décharger la voiture. Il n'y avait pas de lit double.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Everything!! This was our best stay in four weeks of travelling Scandinavia. Tom and Julia were so friendly on our arrival. The location is the best in Flåm. Our apartment was upstairs on the corner of the building so we had two balconies overlooking the harbour and great views from every window. It was spacious with a large dining table & chairs and a well equipped kitchenette for cooking. The lounge area was comfortable and even had a reclining chair. The bathroom was large and recently renovated by the look of it.
Nothing. Even though there’s no lift, Julia carried our bags upstairs for us.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Excellent location and fun to sit on balcony (and sit on swing!) and watch the harbour comings and goings. The bath was a luxury! Very spacious apartment with a really comfy reclined chair.
Having a dish cloth to wash dishes/wipe surfaces with would have been good but there was only a scrubbing brush. Also, a toaster and microwave would have been helpful, as well as (even shared) use of a washing machine. There were no shelves in the oven. The shower cubicle was quite small, and leaked. The cost of the accommodation was much higher than we would usually have paid, but choice was limited despite booking 8 months ago. The supermarket prices were very very high, but as there's only one sipermarket it has a monopoly!

Además Jennifer una chica muy simpática y amable nos estaba esperando en el exterior de la puerta y nos ayudó para que fuera rápido, que es lo que buscábamos después de un viaje largo e ir con dos niños pequeños. También nos dieron un apartamento con unas vistas espectaculares y aunque estás encima de una tienda están muy bien insonorizados.
El único pero, es que en una de las habitaciones aunque había una persiana para evitar la luz del exterior, no era suficiente. Echamos de menos una cortina opaca para poder dormir mejor con los amaneceres tan tempranos que suceden en Flam en julio.

Die Wohnung wird sehr warm wenn die Sonne scheint. Eins der Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und mit ausreichend Platz. Die Lage am Kai und die Nähe zur Flåmbahn ist perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch beim Gepäck die Treppe hoch. Leider waren vor unserem Fenster/Balkon die Buden mit Essen. Wenn der Wind unglücklich steht, dann sind die verschiedensten Gerüche in der Wohnung. Um 20.00 Uhr ist dort glücklicherweise Feierabend. Im Schlafzimmer ist leider ein leichter Geruch. Durch Lüften ist es aber erträglich. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Nice and spacious. Location was great. And the staff was great. Very clean. There was nice kitchen facilities if we had wanted to cook. But we did like having a refrigerator to put some groceries that we bought from the local market.
There was no place to hang your hand towels or bath towels in the bathroom. Also no place in the bathroom to put any type of cosmetics. It was also very warm and a portable fan would’ve helped with the heat when sleeping.

It has two bedrooms, each furnished with three single beds, making it a great option for families or small groups. The rooms include heaters for added comfort, and there is a spacious, clean bathroom. Kitchen is equipped with basic utensils for a quick dinner or breakfast. The location is fantastic. Situated right in the heart of Flåm, within easy walking distance of the FjordSafari meeting point, the Flåmsbana railway, the fjord sauna, the visitor centre, the cruise terminal, restaurants, and other local attractions.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking but a microwave would be a helpful addition. It's not really necessary so this is a very minor point.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026The best thing about this place is the beautiful view – it's right next to the pier, super convenient, and the scenery is just stunning. The room was spacious enough for four people. Yes, the bedrooms and beds are a bit on the small side, but the living room is large and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need – very convenient for cooking. The terrace was our favourite spot. There's a swing, plus a dining table and chairs. Having breakfast out there while looking at the beautiful view was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly. They contacted us in advance to ask about our check-in time and had the room ready early. They gave us lots of helpful information, including suggestions for hiking trails that suited us perfectly. We did have to carry our luggage up a few floors, but the staff helped us carry everything up and down – we really appreciated that. When we left, they also offered luggage storage service, which was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a beautiful view, a convenient location, and a truly welcoming host.
The bed is a bit on the small size.

It is in a busy area, which means it can be a bit noisy during the day when there are many tourists.
