We loved everything about our stay here. Quiet yet very close to the main square. A beautifully designed well equipped accomadtion with loads of local information provided by the host. Greeted with a small gift and left to do our own thing. Parking right outside was perfect. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay the accommodation is in our eyes first class. Ypres has a special place in our hearts. We loved it.

The apartment is about 6 minutes walk to the Menin Gate and had a great supermarket nearby. The apartment is super clean and is very well equipped with all that you need. The area is quiet and the apartment had a lovely terrace where you could eat outside. It also had a parking space right outside. Communications were excellent throughout and there were lots of leaflets with things to do. I would highly recommend it as a great place to stay

We had a wonderful 2-night stay in this lovely apartment while visiting the WWI Battlefields. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk from the center of Ypres (Leper), making it a great spot for visiting the Menin Gate. Before we got there, the hosts quickly replied to our messages and provided all the information we needed for our arrival. They were also nearby if we needed anything during our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the treats, ground coffee for the coffee maker, and the helpful folder with information and local brochures on the shelf. We met Sofie on our last night, which was a nice touch. It was great to chat with the owners and learn more about the area; their pride in their town was clear. We would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Very nice well equipped apartment within walking distance of Menen Gate. Sophie was welcoming and obliging, particularly when I accidentally turned off the hot water service and sent out an emergency call.

Modern well equipped apartment with private parking, ideally located to visit the centre of Ypres. Supermarket close by to obtain provisions. We arrived around 20.30hrs however Sofie was available to greet us and show us around the apartment and parking space. The apartment was well maintained, clean and had everything you would need for a break.

One of the other residents left the block at 6am daily (going to work?) and unfortunately allowed the door to bang, however that is life. It did not spoil our stay.

Sophie met us and showed us around her beautiful apartment. Very well stocked and incredibly clean. The bed was very comfortable and for a change for us - the Wi-Fi was superb. Location is excellent and is only a short 10 minute stroll to the Menin Gate and the Grote Markt in Ypres. Highly recommend and we will definitely return.

A lovely apartment in a great location. Sophie and Wim were on hand if we needed them. We didn’t as the apartment had everything we needed.

The only tricky bit was finding the access road to the apartment. Possibly adding which road you come in off opposite the end of the cemetery wall may help in instructions.

Very good location liked the Spar shop 10 minutes walk away.

Television seemed erratic, but nothing serious

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and perfectly situated to explore Ypres on foot. Sofie was very friendly and helpful in all her communications with us.

Location was excellent, apartment is very clean and well equipped. Having washing up liquid and tea & coffee supplied was a very welcome surprise. Sofie is lovely and incredibly helpful (I'm sure Wim is too but we didn't meet him). The weather was exceptionally hot during our stay so a fan might be a good thing to have in the apartment. We actually bought our own but maybe if we'd asked Sofie she may well have supplied one.

Nothing we didn't like as such just for us personally we would have liked a side table or two beside the sofa as when reclined you cannot reach the coffee table so nowhere to put your drinks. The apartment block is not yet completed so there was some noise from the builders, but nothing too intrusive.
