There’s a smell I didn’t like, think it’s the pipes. My friends experienced that from a different Airbnb, so it might be the area and not the apartment. Maybe a solution would be getting diffusers/air fresheners that can help minimize the smell.

It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well maintained with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The views from the apartment were incredible and easily one of the highlights for us. The host was fantastic, always responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with which made the whole experience even better. The location, apartment, amenities and those amazing views all came together perfectly. We genuinely enjoyed everything about our stay and would happily stay here again.

There was a heavy smell of curry and we had to keep the doors open to the balcony to ease it. There was also a religious sign on the ceiling above the couch which made my stay uncomfortable.

The property is not as advertised on bookings.com If you carrying a lot of luggage, you might have a problem bringing them up the stairs to the entrance, my big luggage fell and rolled down the stairs. If you looking for a quiet time, you won’t find it here. It’s noisy and busy. I wasn’t happy at all especially for the price I paid.

The apartment did not have a broom or mop which was inconvenient. Also the second bedroom didn’t have a bedside table on the other side - Also inconvenient. The lounge doesn’t have a mat and so were bedrooms. The main bedroom bed needs to be upgraded including the fleeces in in both bedrooms.

The host was not attentive and was difficult to contact throughout my short stay. She did not respond to some WhatsApp messages or answer phone calls when assistance was required, which made it challenging to resolve issues promptly. There were cockroaches in the kitchen.

Good evening. I have a complaint about my last booking at Glorystar 2Six2 at Florida Durban. My booking was R3878,55 and upon confirming booking and paying it amounted to R4078,55. I enquired with Sumatra on the number provided on Booking.com she said it’s for cleaning services. There was no cleaning in the apartment the whole stay and I also didn’t request one. I requested keys for safe they were not provided from the 9-12 July. Also air con batteries for the aircorn where not working only got them on the 10th. We struggled to get into the parking lot withy the codes provided, and when we did we couldn't find the correct parking bay which turned out to be on a different level to the one given in the check-in instructions. We extended the booking by one night, but had security knocking on our door to evict us because they couldn't 'see' my proof of payment - which was sent. We managed to sort this out but the check-in and extra night admin was a total nightmare.

The hostess Sumaya was very rude and racist. She was not even aware of my booking and she made me wait for more then 3hrs before I could get access for my booking. The place is beautiful but needs a better hostess, someone that can deal with people.
