Reviewed Jul 10, 2026The location was fabulous and the apartment was clean, quiet and felt safe. Three nice bedrooms and one en-suite which was good.
The parking at rear - while it was great to be able to avail of it - it was very tight and awkward to get in and out. One complimentary use of washing machine -10 euro afterwards. My daughter had spilled coffee over her jeans just as we arrived and needed them washed quickly so that was my one wash used up. Had the rest to bring home!! I would have also appreciated a wee welcome pack - milk even. It’s always such a nice touch.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Location was fantastic - just a short walk to the centre of Donegal Town. Excellent kitchen facilities and wifi was good.
Unfortunately I found the house, my bedroom in particular to have an overpowering musty smell; it just felt like the whole house needed aired. Towels were thin and hard and there was handwash in the shower rather than bodywash. Our stay didn't feel like the treat that we were expecting.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025The location of the property was excellent a short walk to 'the diamond' in the heart of Donegal, home to bars and restaurants, yet on a quite street with one off street parking space. I recommend the property and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Edel the host was very friendly greeting us like old friends.
My elderly parents struggled with the internal steps as there were no hand rails and the opted for the attic bedroom as it was ensuite but as long as they were helped down them it was fine

Reviewed Jul 20, 2025It was very comfortable for 5 adults . The fact it was such a short walk to the diamond ( city center) was great . We could split up and go home at our leisure. The Spar was convenient to grab some quick supplies . We would use it again . If you have trouble with stairs , I would recommend you avoid this . The host was very nice and worked next door.

It just felt unkept up. I know it was an older house, but it felt uncared for. There was a lot of stuff everywhere. The rugs had not been laundered in a long time. Everything felt like it needed a good washing up. Lots of spiderwebs. It was fine for a couple of nights, but not as nice as any of the other places we stayed.

The place could have been cleaner. Dusty throughout and food remanence on floor and chairs in lounge, rubbish in bedside drawer and on windowsill in bedroom. Matching bedding and decluttering the place would make it feel more modern.

The Tv was not a smart Tv, so we could only watch traditional channels. But the upside was that, we had to do more talking to each other, without resorting to to for entertainment

Reviewed Aug 10, 2024Great set up for us and our two (young adult) boys to all have our own separate spaces. Location & host superb (especially offering to return items left behind). Well kitted out - we appreciated the basic store cupboard supplies and access to laundry facilities.
Those with mobility issues may not appreciate the stairs. Not an issue for us (although our sight impaired special needs son needed constant reminders!)

Reviewed May 17, 2024the location was ideal, so close, walking distance to town, would definitely stay here again, the apartment has everything that you would need for stay away, we didn't cook but has cooker, even air fryer, plenty of cutlery etc. Good size bedrooms, good size kitchen/living area. the only negative I would have and I use negative lightly the bathroom door was hard to open and close, I think it was when the heat was on it seemed to happen
