Villa Rumassala Luxury Chalets Unawatuna

Sehr aufmerksames Personal, wir haben ungefragt immer einen tollen Service bekommen. Auf Wunsch haben wir ohne Probleme ein Zimmer weiter oben am Berg bekommen. Die Zimmer (Chalet) sind modern und sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wenn man etwas zum kritisieren sucht, ist die Zugangsstraße zum Hotel eher schwierig zu passieren wenn es geregnet hat (sehr große Pfützen). Außerdem fanden wir es aufgrund der sehr großen Fensterfront mit Sicht auf den Schlafbereich etwas störend, dass die Mitarbeiter regelmäßig Rundgänge im Bereich des Hanges machen, auch wenn sie verständlicherweise dort ihrem Job nachgehen.

This was a great place. The staff was friendly and the facilities provided were exceptional. Room was very large, and the bathroom was very clean. Bed was the most comfortable I have slept in a long time.

Nem tenho palavras para o pequeno paraíso que é este hotel. Tudo parece pensado ao pormenor, ficámos numa villa na parte superior do hotel que tem uma vista espectacular, mesmo a “viagem” no elevador panorâmico é de tirar o fôlego. A villa em si tem uma cama confortável, sofás, zona de lavandaria (com máquina de lavar roupa), uma cozinha e uma excelente casa-de-banho e uma zona exterior de lazer. Sem dúvida foi o melhor hotel onde ficámos no Sri Lanka Os funcionários são excelentes e super atenciosos (além de muito profissionais, fizeram-nos uma série de surpresas por estarmos na nossa lua-de-mel).

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Rumassala and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place for our honeymoon. ❤️ The villa is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by so much greenery. Our plunge pool was one of our favorite parts perfect for relaxing and enjoying some quiet time together. What really made our stay special was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The location is also great, close enough to Unawatuna and Galle to explore easily, while still feeling private and peaceful when you come back. Everything from the room to the atmosphere and service was wonderful. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy our first days as newlyweds. 🥹❤️ Thank you Villa Rumassala for making our honeymoon even more special. We would absolutely love to come back! 🌴✨ 10/10 experience — highly recommended!

Localização. muito próximo de Galle e das praias, comércio, restaurantes e mercado próximos. Quarto grande e confortável, boa piscina,. Hotel tranquilo e bonito. Tem máquina para lavar a roupa, o que é útil. Comida do Hotel não é muito variada, mas é boa.

O cheiro do restaurante é um pouco forte e enjoativo, parece naftalina, deviam mudar para algo mais suave para não interferir com os sabores.

Absolutely everything. Amazing location, the views were out of this world. A true hidden gem in a blissful paradise. We can’t put into words how unreal of an experience this was. We left feeling thankful, blessed and grateful. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and the best hosts we could’ve ever dreamed of. Breakfast was exceptional, the swimming pool and facilities were to die for. Great location, right near Galle Fort. Will definitely be back!

There was nothing we didn’t like. Only that we wished we had more time to stay longer!

Mooie kamers en zwembad, goed ontbijt met veel keuzemogelijkheden. Het personeel wat zeer behulpzaam. We moesten helaas weer terug naar het vliegveld om onze vertraagde bagage op te halen, maar mochten zonder problemen langer van de kamer en faciliteiten gebruik maken.

Personalet er så ekstremt snille og hjelpsomme. Vi hadde suite og den var helt fantastisk, fin utsikt, basseng/badekar som de fylte opp, rent og stort rom med alt man trenger, veldig luksusfølelse. Skal booke dette igjen dersom jeg skal tilbake! Frokosten var veldig god.

Loved this hotel. It is very comfortable. I used the gym which has both air-conditioning and a fan, so well facilitated. It is a nice 20 minute walk to the beach with shops so the location is great.

The facilities and the building was great. New building, clean rooms, comfy beds. Overall this hotel was lovely.

The road leading to the hotel from the main road is rough and narrow. Hopefully the hotel works with the city council and fixes the road. Construction / refurbishment works were happening during my stay so a lot of noise during the day.

Beautiful hotel. Our family room was amazing. Right at the top. Huge room. Very comfy beds. Incredible views from our room and balcony. Dinner and breakfast were both very good

Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon ! Ils sont tous très attentionnés ! Si notre programme l’avait permis nous serions bien resté 3 jours !

Tout etait parfait, le personnel était adorable, la chambre super propre, bien isolée. Le matelas etait très confortable. La piscine était belle et propre. Le rapport qualité prix etait parfait. De loin le meilleur logement que l'on ait pu avoir au Sri Lanka. On a aussi apprécié le fait que chaque jour nous avions de nouvelles petites bouteilles d'eau posés devant la fenêtre !

C'était un peu gênant de voir passer le membre de personnel deposer les bouteilles d'eau devant la fenêtre vers 6h du matin. Mais rien de grave.

A beautiful hidden retreat just off the main road to Unawatuna. The resort is set amongst mature trees surrounding a glorious emerald-green pool, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is split into apartments/chalets and hotel rooms. We stayed in the hotel room area, which was very thoughtfully and uniquely designed. Each floor has a semi open-air communal space with a kitchen area, washing machine and lounge seating with a sofa, which was a lovely touch. The dining room overlooks the pool area and serves a sumptuous breakfast, with eggs and traditional hoppers cooked to order — definitely worth lingering over. The staff were extremely friendly, obliging, and professional throughout our stay. They even went out of their way to help me with a visa application I needed to complete while we were there, which was hugely appreciated. The hotel is only a short tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna village and its gorgeous beach, with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. A little further along, but still only a short tuk-tuk ride away, is Turtle Beach, where we saw the amazing giant turtles. We only wished we had stayed longer. It has a wonderfully relaxing environment in a fantastic location, and we would highly recommend it.

Вилла просто потрясающая. Начиная от чистоты номеров заканчивая дружелюбным и заботливым персоналом. Очень советую! Любой вопрос все сразу решается. Многие пишут про работы рядом, но заботливый персонал когда были свободные номера переселил меня в другое крыло. Внизу есть ресторан 🍽️ Спасибо вам большое, мой отдых был просто замечательным!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Все номера как отдельная небольшая вилла, каждый на отдельном этаже. Большие номера. Тихая, зеленая территория, чистый бассейн. Потрясающий персонал. Удаленность от океана: пешком 30 минут, на тук туке 5-7 минут. Пешком идти удобно, есть тротуар, не надо идти в горку. В отеле почти не было отдыхающих, потому что ремонтные работы и не все номера еще готовы. Было шумно днем, но стоимость номера это покрывало. Завтраки: они были однообразными, но всего хватало и было вкусно. Возможно мало людей в отеле и готовят не много.

Плохо работал wi fi в номере.

Считаю расположение отеля отличным. Да, до туристической улицы с ресторанами и пляжем нужно добираться на тук туке ( хотя а первый раз мы дошли пешком, но 20 минут идти вдоль дороги так себе) . Но зато тишина, природа, и какое то спокойствие сохраняется. Ни разу не пожалели про местоположение.

В целом понравилось все. Наверное единственным минусом это то что по ночам в нашем номере начиналась движуха живности. Геконы и кто то еще бегал толи по крыше толи по потолку активно общаясь. Я (ужасная трусиха) сначала вооьще не спала, потом привыкла. Но тут нужно понимать что мы изначально осознавали что мы выбрали место проживания джунгли. Потому это не претензия с просто констатация факта. Из минусов реальных наверное только то, что мы находили на подушке экскременты гекконов каждый вечер. Их было немного и они легко стряхивались , но не очень приятно было.

This Place is a dream. The staff is very friendly and they help you with everything you need. The rooms are big and very beautiful .The pool is big enough . We loved our stay and instead of staying one night we stayed two. The breakfast is a buffet. I really recommend this place.

Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet exceptionnel avec en plus une possibilité de demander des commandes particulières. Nous avons louer un scooter par l intermédiaire de l hotel : environ 10 euros la journée. Je recommande cet hotel

The view is absolutely worth the effort – there are quite a few stairs, but every step is rewarded with breathtaking scenery. The service was excellent, and the staff were wonderful, attentive, and professional. During our stay, a lift was being installed, which will make future visits even more comfortable. Outstanding. Everything about the hotel and luxury villas suited us. From the wonderful security men working the gate, the ladies working the office, all the lads sorting maintenance, room service and just generally looking after you. Not forgetting the cleaning lady, nothing was too much. And is by far our favourite hotel so far

This was the first stop on our anniversary trip to Sri Lanka, and it outdid every expectation. We were given the best room in the hotel, with a spectacular view. The room was super clean, spacious, and smelt AMAZING. There is a security guard on at all times, and it felt like a very safe and secluded environment. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and did everything to make the stay extra special. Very close to fabulous beaches and the best food spots. Cannot recommend more if you want to stay in Unawatuna/Galle.

Персонал был очень дружелюбным и всегда помогал. Сами комнаты хорошие и удобные. Много разной живности :)

Немного однообразная еда, но можно есть и в городе. Утомили лестницы (но мы зато похудели). Лифт строят и с одной стороны, это супер, с другой, купаешься в бассейне при звуках стройки :)

Magique environnement au calme et à 2 m de toutes commodités. Les chambres sont magnifiques et tres bien équipées. Le personnel est tres serviable...et la piscine juste top.

Attention certaines chambres sont situées en hauteur sans ascenseur mais il est en construction. Prévoir quelques bruits la journée dû aux travaux mais c est pour la bonne cause.

This place is a dream... So beautifully designed! We were kindly offered a free upgrade to a chalet with kitchen which was very useful. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, absotely loved it! The use of a washing machine was also a game changer. The facilities are of course amazing however what really makes this place wonderful is the staff - they were so attentive and warm with us and our baby girl. Really lovely people ☺️ If we come back to Unawatuna we will definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything 🙏

This hotel is amazing we absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are attentive, the rooms are huge and well cleaned, and the value for money is the best we experienced in Sri Lanka.

Stunning Place! Very Modern Loved the stocked tea / coffee area and the communal washing machine and drying facilities. Very helpful when you’ve been backpacking for a couple of weeks. The staff were outstanding, especially Sasini who took very good care of us!

Комфортно, чисто. Встречают с полотенцами и велком-дринк. Есть бассейн.Неплохая ланкийская кухня. Порадовало сооотношение цена-качество. Можно самостоятельно постирать вещи в стиральной машине.

Не подойдет, если хочется тишины и уединения. Достаточно шумно и оживлено. Лучше брать отдельные виллы с кухней.

Le Wi-Fi est également très performant. Hotel pas très loin des plages - jungle beach ou Unawatuna, très proche en tuktuk Plusieurs Club de plongée sur la plage principale Petit déjeuner excellent. La piscine est magnifique un peu plus de transat serait parfait.

On a adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Le petit-déjeuner était bon. Il y a du choix. La piscine est très agréable. L’hôtel est très beau entouré de végétation. La chambre était propre et spacieuse avec un balcon. Il y a une grille, qui donne accès à l’hôtel, qui est surveillée par un membre du personnel.

Il y avait quelques bruits à cause des travaux en cours dans l’hôtel.

Loved everything about this place. As soon as you step thru the gate you feel like you are in a little piece of paradise. Staff are all so helpful, friendly & smiley. Stayed here for 4 nights & the rooms were amazing. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Tesis çok temizdi. 2 oda değişimi yaptık. Oda manzaraları harikaydı. Her konuda yardımcı oldular. Tüm çalışanlar yardımsever ve güleryüzlü. Havuz tertemiz. Kahvaltı harika. Özellikle geleneksel yumurtası. 3 gün konaklayacakken 2 gün daha uzattık. Mirissada kalma planımız varken 2 gün daha burada kalıp Ellaya geçmeye karar verdik. Gezilecek tüm turistik yerler çok yakındaydı. Tuktuk ve araba kolaylıkla geldi. Bazı odalara ulaşım için tesis içindeki merdiven ile çıkılması gerekiyor. Asansörleri yapım aşamasında. Asansör yapıldığında tüm odalara rahatlıkla ulaşım sağlanacaktır. Çocuklu aileler için çok uygun. Biz 7 yaşındaki kızımızla beraber huzurla konakladık. Ve bizim gibi çocuklu ailelerde vardı. Herkese tavsiyemizdir. Kendimizi çok şanslı hissediyoruz.

Luxury odaya merdiven ile çıkmak zordu. Fakat asansör yapım aşamasındaydı. Bizim için sorun olmadı. Herşey harikaydı
