Reviewed May 30, 2026Everything was made and placed carefully to make everyone from all ages feels comfortable, cozy and safe. The surroundings view was also spot on as we were able to view the milky way at night to having a sea of clouds in the morning.
The only downside is that we only stayed one night. It should come with a warning that we will have withdrawal symptoms for not staying more than a night.

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026Very quiet location a short drive to town. Good layout with two bedrooms on opposite sides of the house offering privacy. Plenty of space in the house, with basic crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. Not much in the way of pantry staples or any extras. Great shower pressure and good hot water.
There were no wardrobes, shelving or hooks for clothing etc in the bedrooms. Only luggage racks. No washing basket or wash-line, only a portable drying rack. It is very difficult not to have a dryer or washline when the weather is rainy! Additional comfortable outdoor furniture would have been welcome - the wooden bench and seats were soaking wet and there are no cushions. The house has very basic essentials but could do with a large pot fro cooking pasta, a coupe of large platters or bowls for serving, and a second bedside lamp in the bedroom.

The house doesn't have a dryer, which is also mentioned in the ad. Given dryers are not that expensive, I think this might be a bit of an own goal, given how wet it is in the area. We had done a hike in the rain and had 5 people's worth of wet clothes. The costs of using the heaters to heat/dry out the rooms to dry the clothes would be higher than being able to use a dryer. Also, about 4km out of town. No problem for us with a car.

Well, its quite expensive. So on value for money, its not high on the scale. Also its about 5 kms away from the center. The bathroom door also needs fixing coz it keeps on getting stuck making it difficult to open from the outside.

Only issue....if someone is having a shower in ensuite bathroom, water temp is unpredictable in family bathroom. But not a major problem. I would deginitely stay again, if visiting again.

The kitchen was pretty well equipped, although it would have been useful to have a tea towel to dry dishes. We appreciated having 2 bathrooms and the laundry facilities were very useful. The area was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.
