Great location, great rooms, helpful staff and a lovely restaurant

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, miły i zaangażowany personel, czysty basen, plaża przy hotelu , świetna restauracja z widokiem na plażę i morze! Polecam!

We didn't have breakfast there. Location wasn't great! But plenty of cafes & restraunts. The beach wasn't clean so we didn't swim there.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, right on a lovely beach and within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the sunset from our seaview facing room. The room was large and comfortable and kept beautifully clean every day. We have stayed here before and would stay here again.

The kitchenette supplies are very basic- you need to buy your own washing up supplies.

An incredible location. Everything is within walking distance — shops, the beach, and local attractions. The bay is pristine, with soft, pleasant sand and incredibly clear water. Nearby, there is a headland and several small islands with an amazing variety of marine life. We were also lucky enough to experience the turtle hatching season. Local volunteers showed us the process and explained everything in detail. It was an incredible and truly unforgettable experience. The room was cleaned every day. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly, tactful, polite, and attentive throughout our stay.

No complaints whatsoever.

Leider wurden persönliche Gegenstände auf dem Nachttisch in die Schublade gesteckt. Fand ich nicht so toll. ( ist aber kein Problem in diesem Sinne) Und die Balkontür wurde immer offen gelassen.

1) Klima hat nicht im Zimmer funktioniert und haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen 2) direkt am Strand 3) freundliches Personal 4) essen vom Restaurant war sehr gut - sie machen einen veggie burger mit Käse auf Wunsch -steht nicht auf der Karte 5) gute Anbindung und Hotellage

1) Toilettenspülung ist immer gelaufen, man musste sie extra stoppen in unserem Zimmer. 2) Strand liegen kosten extra, auch wenn man Hotelgast ist 3) nicht jedes Zimmer hat die gleiche Ausstattung, wir Küchenrolle, schneidebrett, Teller usw.

ניקיון חדרים נעשה אחה"צ - ערב ובחלק מהימים רק אחרי שביקשנו. זרם במקלחת חלש בשעות מסוימות ובבוקר לוקח המון זמן למים חמים להגיע. מטבח לא מספיק מאובזר, לא היו סכינים בכלל... סבון כלים הציעו לנו לקנות...

Le personnel était très aimable et aidant. La plage au pied de l'hôtel est très belle et bien pratique.

החדר לא היה נקי, גם לאחר שביקשנו וניקו, עדיין הרצפה היתה מלאה חול. החדר בסיסי מאד, ללא שום תוספות. אפילו מכונת קפה אין.

La struttura è molto pulita e curata. A pochi passi dalla camera hai la spiaggia e per chi arriva in auto c’è un ampio parcheggio. Staff super disponibile!

Non ho trovato nulla che non mi sia piaciuto. Un solo suggerimento: un forno microonde non sarebbe male 😇

One of the best stays of my life! The hotel is beautifully located right next to a stunning beach, with several small bays nearby where you can always find a calm place even on windy days. What made this stay truly exceptional was the staff — especially Voula from the reception. She is an absolutely wonderful person who not only solves every problem immediately, but also anticipates guests’ needs and helps with everything with genuine kindness and professionalism. She made our stay perfect. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with daily housekeeping, and there is also a very useful shop on site with everything you may need during your holiday. Perfect place for families as well, with a beautiful park and large playground nearby. A special mention also goes to the restaurant located on the hotel grounds. The staff there were absolutely amazing and created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere every day.

La pulizia era molto approssimativa, le dotazioni della cucina totalmente insufficienti. Durante il soggiorno, malgrado gli sforzi e la comprensione del personale della reception, non abbiamo avuto acqua calda,

Die Wohnung wurde zwar als Souterrain bezeichnet, war auch total im Keller. 13Stufen!! hinunter, für die Moskitos ein super Platz. Keine Gitter an den Fenstern, Der Wäscheständer blieb wegen fehlender Sonne feucht. Die Küche in desolatem Zustand..Die grössere Platte erreichte ca 80Grad, Die kleine, nur ca 8 cm musste die Pfannen von ca.25cm erhitzen, was 1,5 Stunden brauchte. Zudem in diesem Kellerraum nur 1 Lampe.

Ottima la posizione sulla spiaggia e il ristorante della struttura, con vista mare e buona cucina a prezzi onesti.

La pulizia non era affatto impeccabile e il bagno era molto piccolo.

Camera sporca con copri piumone nell’armadio già usato dal precedente ospite, il comodino era pieno di fazzoletti usati e il lenzuolo, faceva intravedere macchie di sangue sul materasso. Anche l’angolo cucina sporco sia i piatti che gli armadi. Abbiamo chiesto due volte di provvedere a risistemare la stanza, non è stato possibile fare arrivare una donna delle pulizie e se ne occupata la receptionista in qualche modo. Non ci sono state scuse né sconti, tantomeno il cambio di camera! Non è stato piacevole dormire in quel letto! Servizio clientela pessimo.

Älskar närheten till stranden och havet. Och att vara så nära staden Chania men inte höra "oljudet" av stad.

Hade önskat bättre utrustat kök och något att städa och diska med.

La ubicacion y el complejo. Playas hermosas cerca, a 2 cuadras una avenida con muchos negocios.

El departamento esta poco equipado, no incluye desayuno la estadia, y no habia NADA en la cicina, ni esponja y detergente para lavar, ni sal o aceite, no dan productos de limpieza ni shampoo ni crema enjuague. HAy que equiparse con TODO. La limpieza no es muy profunda, no revisaron como habian dejado la vajilla los huéspedes anteriores (bastante sucia al no tener elementos de limpieza). El pasillo tenia manchas de aglun liquido derramado que estuvieron los 4 dias de nuestra estadia, nadie lo limpio.

Resort like feel yet family friendly atmosphere. Staff were amazing, there's a good bar/restaurant attached to the property & shop right next to building. Pool with deckchairs is great & it's only seconds to a beautiful sandy beach if you prefer. Quiet location, nice atmosphere.

The mattresses were a disappointment, two singles put together (one ok, one bad). Both divans were uncomfortable (as a bed & a couch), lack of kitchen equipment/cutlery/bowls, could do with better storage solutions but was ok. Wish there was a "do not disturb" sign as the cleaners are diligent but come in too often.

The restaurant has amazing views and the food was delicious. Good snorkeling and I even saw a giant sea turtle feeding two different days.

A szomszedban valami szemetlerako depo van es az eleg hangos,amikor ejjelente boritjak az uvegeket..legalabbis az utcafronton. Nem is ertem,ez miert a turistahazak kozott a part kozeleben van.

The most perfect location! We were right on the beach, the room was very big, beautiful shower and balcony. The view and convenience of having a mini mart next door was superb! The Golden Bay Restaurant and the staff at the restaurant made us feel like we are part of the family. The food from the fresh squeezed orange juice to the warm crescents to the lunch options and dinner options was delicious and very good portions. There is a bus stop just a very short walk from the hotel where one can catch #21 for Chania old town for just 2 euros. Close to the bus stop are also several restaurants. The pool was clean and the entire complex was beautiful. There are several cafes on the main road within a 10 minute walk and there is lots of parking near the hotel. The chair rentals are very favorable and offer food delivery to the chairs as well. We cannot wait to return as we find the sea water very clear, warm, sandy and inviting- just absolutely magnificent!

We loved everything about The Golden Bay, we didn't like that we were there for only 4 days. Next year we will be there longer!

The property is located in a very convenient location right in front of the beach. The pool area is plesant and well maintained and the local resturant serves a good variate of local food.

The room was not very clean, and there were a lot of small flies in the room. There were ants in the kitchenette so no food could be left outside. The bathroom often smelled like sewage.

Renholdet kunne vært litt bedre. Kjøkkenutstyret var litt mangelfullt.

Отличный отель с превосходным расположением. Чистый бассейн и очень красивая территория. Прекрасный пляж прямо перед отелем. Очень приятный и любезный персонал. Каждый день убирают номера. Спокойный район с болшим колличеством таверн и ресторанов, в то же время близко до центра Ханьи. Всё понравилось, с удовольствием приедем снова.

Очень маленькая раковина в ванной которой не очень удобно пользоваться, но это не повлияло на общее впечатление от отдыха.

El hotel en general muy bien, buena ubicación sales por la puerta y estás en la playa, (playa grande y llana, perfecta para niños). Cerca de locales de restauración y supermercados. tiene una parada de autobús que te deja en el centro de chania en 20 minutos (y pasa bastante a menudo) y te olvidas de tener que aparcar en el centro que es un follón. La piscina del hotel limpia y casi nunca había nadie así que bien.

Las habitaciones que nos tocaron estaban en mal estado, las tazas de los lavabos eran de madera y estaban bufadas y rotas, la cortina de la ducha no llegaba la suelo y la ducha se inundaba,( la solución que nos dieron fue darnos más toallas para ponerlas en el suelo. Faltaban más utensilios de cocina solo había una olla y una sartén (quizás un microondas...).

Micul dejun a fost extra cost, foarte buna muncarea si variante pentru toate gusturile. Pozitia excelenta, aproape de plaja si mijloacele publice de transport. Mancarea de la restaurant ok, piscina ok, personalamabil, am putut depozita bagajele in receptie pana la plecare si au baie amenajata pentru turistii care au nevoie sa faca dus dupa check out.Asigura transport pentru aeroport contra cost.

Ar trebui renovat apartamentul, peretii nu erau curati, mobilierul ar trebui schimbat, spatarul patului era exfoliat, iar bucataria si vesela nu erau bine curatate.

La ubicación excelente, los apartamentos modernos, muy limpios y cómodos para familias. El restaurante muy completo y agradable. Con aparcamiento muy grande cerca.

The location is stunning, being right on the beach and a beautiful beach too. Our room had a sea view, so we were able to watch the sunset from our balcony. The pool area was lovely too, and very well maintained. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

No toiletries or washing up liquid are provided, so we had to buy these and won't be able to take them home with us due to the restrictions on liquids when flying.

alcuni clienti abbastanza indisciplinati (schiamazzi notturni a bordo piscina) forse a causa della mancanza della presenza di personale h24 in reception.

Το μόνο καλό που έχει είναι ότι βρίσκεται μπροστά στη θάλασσα.

Ηταν μέσα στη βρώμα,άμμο παντού μέσα στο δωμάτιο,τα έπιπλα βεράντας είναι όλο στάμπες από την υγρασία και γενικά όλα τα έπιπλα χάλια.Το ηλεκτρικό κουζινάκι μεσα στη σκουριά.Και το τελευταίο το a/c δεν έβγαζε κρύο αέρα και μύριζε υπερβολικά.

Όμορφος εξωτερικός χώρος .. σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία για ξεκούραση

Η καθαριότητα των δωματίων.. και οι αλλαγές σε σεντόνια .. το ίντερνετ ανύπαρκτο..

Everything cost money They charged us for the chairs on the hotel beach, no towels, old rooms.

- douche sans rideau ou parois, la salle de bain est complètement inondée à chaque fois - manque de propreté général les lits n’ont pas d’alaise et vous dormez sur un matelas taché - personnel à l’accueil détaché, sans sourire - le ménage est fait en gros il ne faut pas être trop exigeant - matelas à la plage payant, non compris dans le prix de la chambre _ distance de La Canée : 20 min en voiture - femmes de ménage qui fonds du bruit dès 8h le matin

The hotel is right next to the beach. The sea is wonderful, no stones only sand. It also has a nice pool. In the room there is a kitchen with all the things you need for small meals. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Not a busy area with only a few shops and restaurants. The hotel doesn't have breakfast.

It was situated right on the beach which was awesome and it has a restaurant attached to it.

Nous avions réservé une chambre annoncée en demi-sous-sol, mais en réalité il faut descendre une vingtaine de marches : la chambre est complètement enterrée. L’humidité est omniprésente, les portes des armoires doivent rester ouvertes pour éviter la moisissure, et une odeur désagréable imprègne tout le mobilier. Les canapés sont si vieux et malodorants qu’on n’ose pas s’y asseoir. Le frigo est cassé (porte manquante), et pour faire bouillir des œufs il a fallu plus de 45 minutes. Le linge de lit est simplement posé sur le matelas, pas correctement fait. Le ménage et le changement de serviettes n’ont lieu que tous les 2-3jours, et si cela tombe un dimanche, il n’y a aucun service. Lorsque nous avons demandé des serviettes propres à la réception, la réponse a été non. Seule la femme de ménage a accepté de nous dépanner. Autres points négatifs : * Les serviettes de piscine et de plage sont payantes. * L’accès à la plage de l’hôtel est payant (transats et parasols). * La piscine n’est pas surveillée et reste accessible à n’importe qui, car elle est reliée à un restaurant extérieur. En résumé : une expérience très décevante, loin des standards attendus pour un hôtel, et surtout très différente de ce que la description et les photos laissaient croire. Cela a vraiment gâché une partie de nos vacances. Au moment du check out, c’était plus la réceptionniste du check in mais bien une gérante de l’hôtel : elle a avoué que cette chambre en particulière était la pire : en luminosité, odeur, emplacement, tout. Et que j’avais qu’à écrire à vous et voir ce que ça donne. Je sais pas dans quel but je vous contacte. Je suis fidèle à vos services et ça depuis le début des temps, il suffit de regarder l’historique de mes réservations, ainsi que tous mes voyages à venir ! Jamais mais jamais j’ai eu des prestations trompeuses pareilles ! Et comme la gérante a dit en partant : « c’est bien vrai tout ça, tout le monde s’en plaint ! Mais c’est comme ça » !

Me encantó la ubicación del hotel, al lado justo de la playa, el restaurante (con vistas al mar) y el complejo de apartamentos.

El baño de nuestro apartamento fue un DESASTRE. Tanto la tapa del váter como el plato de ducha estaban rajados y viejos. Había una cortinilla raída en la ducha que dejaba que el agua encharcara todo el suelo. El apartamento tenía arañas y telas de arañas en varias zonas.

Our room was spacious and facing the beach. It was very good.

It was very clean and close to the beach. Very easy bus ride into Chania though plenty of restaurants near by so you didn’t have to travel to have a good meal.

The beach immediately outside the hotel (where you have to pay for the parasols) was rammed. The parasols were so tightly packed together. As per other reviews I wouldn’t bank on ever getting a poolside lounger: much as the hotel was clean and smart it felt very competitive. Iguana beach (5mins walk away) was much more chilled however we therefore ended up not using the hotel pool at all. The sea was lovely there (some Nice snorkelling) The rooms were clean and very serviceable, even if not hugely full of charm.

The restaurant’s food beside the hotel was very good. The customer service was excellent at the restaurant very friendly.

The hotel did not supply dish towels and there was no shampoo or conditioner or Kleenex in the bathroom. I was extremely surprised that the housekeepers were off on Sunday. Not cool.

Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce bel hôtel en accès direct à la plage, avec une belle piscine et un restaurant très bon et des prix très correct. Le personnel sympathique et l’ambiance familiale. Nous avons pu admirer de magnifiques coucher de soleil depuis la plage de l’hôtel. Malheureusement, comme dans beaucoup d’hôtel, il n’y avait pas assez de transats à la piscine pour tout le monde. Et les transats de la plage sont payants même pour les clients de l’hôtel. Par conséquent, les gens bloquent les transats dès 6:00 du matin avec une serviette et ne viennent que plusieurs heures après. Par moment, il n'y avait personne dans la piscine mais tous les transats etaient réservés! Ça ne devrait pas être permis de bloquer des transats sans être présent.

Ce qui est dommage c'est que les transats de la plage soient payants même pour les clients de l’hôtel (15€ les 2 transats + parasol). On avait une chambre en demi sous-sol et la kitchenette était vieillotte et l’équipement de la cuisine était insuffisant. Il n’y avait même pas une passoire pour faire des pâtes. Du coup nous avons mangé au restaurant tous les jours. La cuvette des toilettes était cassée. C’est dommage parce que le reste de l’hôtel est top. Un petit rafraîchissement remettrai la chambre au goût du jour. Je pense que c’est la catégorie de notre chambre qui etait ainsi car d’autres logements avaient l’air très bien vu de l’extérieur.

La proximité avec la mer et le centre du village.

Que les transats sur la mer soit payants et que ceux de la piscine soient réservés des 8h le matin avec des serviettes par des gens qui n’arrivent que 3h plus tard

Beach was just some tens of meters from pool. All needed facilities were close enough: shop, car-renting, many restaurants (in addition to hotel restaurant). Going to downtown was very easy by bus (bus-stop around 100 meters from hotel). Personnel was very friendly.

Cutlery was not clean when we got the room, but after noting, were cleaned.
