For me, this place really stands out because of its location — it’s close to loads of supermarkets, the beaches, and the city centre. The apartments are super spacious, and the facilities are really good for the price.

Appartementen waren erg gedateerd , ook waren er erg veel kinderen en druk bij het zwembad . Parkeren is erg slecht rondom het hotel.

Almost everything was perfect with our apartment. If the sofa bed could be bigger, it would be a 10.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. I’m sure it’s very difficult to remove, but sand was everywhere (sofas, floors, etc.) when we first arrived. Can also be difficult to find parking.

Veel herrie van het hotel aan de overkant waar er bijna elke avond entertainment was. Er zat troep ik het zwembad dat niet gelijk schoongemaakt kon worden, waardoor het zwembad zeker 2 dagen niet gebruikt kon worden. De meeste kamers zijn gedateerd, maar dit merk je niet terug in de prijs.

Location on the seafront was really magical with steps to access the ocean! Three calls in very close proximity felt luxurious. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. Pool and ocean view was lovely.

As mentioned in a few other reviews, the cleaning staff arrive from about 8 and shout a lot in the corridors so there is no chance of a peaceful lie in! I honestly thought someone was having an argument outside the door. The pool bar staff all seemed quite young and poorly trained. You felt like you were being a nuisance asking to buy something.

La qualità prezzo della struttura. Noi eravamo nel blocco C e la camera era datata, al secondo piano con accesso scomodo con valigie e passeggini. Per il prezzo pagato a mio parere dovrebbe offrire le camere più belle degli altri blocchi.

El hotel está muy bien y tiene una ubicación fantástica, con acceso directo a la cala, algo que para nosotros fue uno de sus grandes puntos fuertes. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y se nota que están renovando el hotel poco a poco. Las habitaciones todavía se ven algo más antiguas y agradecerían una actualización. Es del mismo grupo que Cala Esmeralda, que parece estar ya completamente renovado, así que imaginamos que este irá siguiendo el mismo camino. Lo que menos nos convenció fueron los horarios, demasiado orientados al turismo extranjero. La cena termina muy pronto y sobre las 21:00 ya empiezan a retirar la comida, dando bastante sensación de que tienes que terminar. También nos sorprendió que determinados días de la semana no haya limpieza de habitaciones. Entendemos que Cala d’Or es una zona cara y la ubicación es privilegiada, pero por el precio, creemos que el servicio podría estar un poco más cuidado. Aun así, hemos estado muy a gusto y el acceso directo a la cala es una auténtica maravilla.

The apartment did not match the photos on the website and was noticeably smaller, more dated and more worn than advertised. There were visible maintenance issues, including water damage on the bathroom ceiling and stains on the walls. The pool was often overcrowded, with sunbeds being reserved by towels from early morning, and the chlorine was so strong that it irritated my eyes. I also found the customer service disappointing when I raised concerns, as I was repeatedly asked to visit reception rather than being offered solutions through the app. Overall, I did not feel the accommodation and facilities justified the price paid.

Close to the beach and sea. Pool area very nice. Air con in the room was brilliant and well needed. Nice resturaunt's around the hotel but some are definitely better value than others so I'd explore all of them.also the supermarket with the yellow sign is better value than the one with the green tree. We booked a car for 3 days from the car hire bear the hotel, was able to leave the car in their parking area which was a huge bonus because the hotel does not have any parking facilities.

Nothing really,everything was great .the heat was very intense but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. No freezer compartment in the fridge . We ate in the hotel one night, for the price I thought it was ok, they charged enough for drinks ( no free water) . All resturaunt's in calle D'or are pretty dear in any case, I found the island much more expensive than the other Spanish islands ( canaries I feel is better value)

La localisation et les infrastructures

Nous avons été très déçus par cet hôtel, et surtout choqués par leurs méthodes. Ce matin, l’hôtel a collé directement sur le pare-brise de notre voiture un autocollant d’avertissement de stationnement, au lieu de simplement glisser un papier sous l’essuie-glace comme le ferait n’importe quel établissement respectueux. Résultat : l’autocollant est impossible à retirer proprement, il se déchire en morceaux et laisse de la colle et des résidus de papier partout sur le pare-brise (photos à l’appui). Et autant vous dire que j’ai autre chose à faire de mes vacances que passer 1h30 en plein soleil à gratter ma voiture de location … Dégrader ainsi le véhicule de ses propres clients est tout simplement inacceptable — un mot ou un appel à la réception aurait suffi. Côté piscine, ce n’est guère mieux : elle est envahie d’enfants en permanence, impossible de se détendre, et l’eau est tellement chaude qu’elle en devient désagréable et même trouble — plus chaude que l’air ambiant alors qu’il fait déjà 35°C dehors. Autant dire qu’on ne s’y rafraîchit pas. Entre le manque de respect envers les clients et les prestations décevantes, nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel et n’y reviendrons pas. Dommage pour un si beau lieu dans un cadre de vie très agréable

The hotel is suited in a very beautiful location, right in front of a cala and has access through a stair in the rocks.

The kitchen utensils are extremely basic. There isn’t even a microwave available, and many additional services come at an extra cost. The sunbed situation is also quite frustrating. Although the hotel states that guests are not allowed to reserve sunbeds, in practice, around 95% of people do exactly that. Every day I was there, by 8 a.m. all the sunbeds were already “taken,” usually with nothing more than a towel placed on them. If you want to enjoy a sunbed, it seems you have to wake up around 7 a.m. and join the competition. This can be quite stressful when you are on holiday and simply want to relax without having to fight for a spot. The hotel’s cala is undoubtedly beautiful and unique, but unfortunately there was quite a lot of plastic and other debris floating in the water. I understand that this is not entirely the hotel’s responsibility, but given the price and the location, it would be a great added value if the hotel could make an effort to help keep the area cleaner. Overall, while the location and the cala are special, I found the experience disappointing considering how expensive the hotel is. For the price paid, I expected significantly better facilities, service, and attention to the guest experience.

Bella camera, attrezzata eventualmente anche per cucinare. Struttura pulita, personale disponibile e gentile. Lasciano in dotazione anche gli asciugamani per la spiaggia e la piscina, che cambiano ogni volta che viene richiesto dai clienti.

Il bagno, pur essendo ben arredato e finestrato, aveva un'organizzazione degli spazi particolare, con una porta a vetri tra la zona lavabo/cabina armadio e la zona wc/doccia: era come se il wc fosse nella doccia, per cui purtroppo si bagnava tutto ogni volta. Le signore delle pulizie però avevano arginato in parte il problema facendo una spondina intorno al piatto doccia con l'asciugamano. La spiaggia dell hotel ha una bella pineta, ma porta ad una piattaforma direttamente in scogliera, non molto comodo per fare il bagno, ma basta attraversare la strada per essere a Cala Esmeralda, che è molto bella. Le piscine sono sempre piuttosto affollate.

Localização: perto de duas praias bonitas, muito perto de supermercados, farmácia, lojas e restaurantes. Mini-golf, mesa de sinuca, espreguiçadeiras voltadas para o mar. Boas camas. Boa varanda com um tendal para secar as roupas. Bom jantar, com boa variedade e bom café da manhã. Apesar do hotel estar muito cheio, sempre havia lugar. Jogos de futebol para crianças e adultos de manhã cedo e ao final da tarde. Yoga na praia perto do hotel. Um bom lounge ao lado da recepção onde o ar condicionado sim deixava tudo fresquinho e acabava sendo um oásis para nós. As praias são lindas, mas só se forem muito cedo (pelas 8) ou no final da tarde (pelas 19). Fora desse horário ficam cheias e até no mar esbarra-se nas pessoas. Shows à noite.

Quarto com móveis antigos e cheiro forte de mofo. Ar condicionado não pode ser regulado a menos de 20°C e como fazia muito calor, o quarto acabava ficando bem quente. Tv com apenas um canal infantil em espanhol. Tem que se pagar 20 euros a hora para usar a quadra de esportes. A quadra fica sempre vazia (a não ser quando há jogos de futebol) ao invés de estar cheia de crianças fazendo amizade. Não entendo que um hotel familiar, tendo uma quadra, faça isso. Piscina repleta, não há espreguiçadeiras nem lugar suficiente. Só conseguíamos ir pelas 18 horas. Às 7:30 da manhã está tudo reservado, apesar de na recepção dizerem que não era permitido reservar. Tem que se pagar pelas toalhas para piscina e para usar o cofre (as toalhas ainda posso entender, apesar de achar que isso deveria estar incluído. Mas o cofre? Não faz sentido). Formigas no quarto (mas como tivemos esta e mais algumas questões, na metade da estadia nos mudaram de quarto e lá não havia formigas). O mar estava cheio de plástico. Claro que isto não é culpa do hotel, mas deixo aqui porque fomos à Mallorca especialmente pelo mar e foi uma decepção. No último dia da nossa estadia voltou a ficar limpo, mas foram 4 dias a nadar com plástico. Uma tristeza!

Décoration et mobilier vieillissants, couloirs très bruyants la nuit et tôt le matin. Les transats de la piscine sont quasiment tous réservés dès le matin, ce qui rend difficile d’en trouver de disponibles. Piscine très bruyante car beaucoup d’enfants présents.

Hotel was more suited to families than a couple. Walls were thin in the room so it was noisy. Lots of everywhere in the room. We were told reserving sunbeds was not allowed yet people were doing it from early in the morning. It was overpriced for what it was.

Segunda vez que vamos, es un sitio precioso, cogimos habitación reformada. Personal de recepción y limpieza excelente, la señora de comedor durante la cena muy amable, nos aconsejo sobre las calas próximas.

Le falta más calidad la cena, desayuno muy bien Y muy importante deberían de ofrecer comida y fundamental adaptar horarios de cena a España,(fue un comentario extendido entre los españoles alojados)por lo menos alargar la cena a las 22:30.

J’ai adoré cet hôtel ! L’endroit est magnifique, avec des paysages à couper le souffle. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. J’y ai passé un excellent séjour et je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation !

En revanche, le seul point négatif concerne l’insonorisation des chambres, qui est vraiment à améliorer. On avait l’impression que les personnes qui passaient dans le couloir le soir étaient dans notre chambre, tant les bruits étaient présents. C’est dommage, car cela a un peu nui à la qualité du repos.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit schöner Lage direkt am Felsen zum Meer. Übers Nachbarhotel hat man Zugang zur schönen Cala Esmeralda. Sehr nette und zuvorkommendes Personal, insbesondere beim Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen gut.

Leider wurde einiger Müll in der Felsbucht angeschwemmt. An dem Zugang, der direkt zum Hotel gehört. Da würde ich es schon für selbstverständlich erachten, dass 1x am Tag ein Hotelangestellter mit einem Netz kommt und versucht den größten Unrat zu entfernen. Können sie sich ja dann Umweltbewusstsein auf die Fahne schreiben.

The apartments felt a bit dated, and the ground-floor units had a musty smell. I’d avoid rooms near the pool as it gets quite noisy. The on-site restaurants were overpriced for what they offer.

Kvaliteten af hotellet svarer ikke til et 4-stjernet hotel efter dansk standard! Vi havde en toværelses lejlighed og den bar præg af et meget brugt hotel’ Og med en pris på 2.000 danske kroner pr. nat uden nogen form for pension, får man ikke nok for pengene! Desuden var der for mange gæster til poolområdet og for få parasoller! Det var ikke så lækkert at bade i poolen! Og så kunne gæsterne bare reservere liggestolene ved at smide deres håndklæder, og gik de derfra lod de håndklæderne ligge, så stolene var reserverede hele dagen, uden mulighed for at andre kunne bruge dem! Det er dårlig stil! Tror ikke jeg vil bruge hotellet en anden gang!

Good size room with small but good self catering kitchenette. Really comfortable beds and pillows and excellent sound proofing. Good service and food at the Pool bar/restaurant. Great to have the choice of both pool and sea. Also great to have a Spar shop next door with all of the essentials including lovely fresh baguettes and pastries every morning. Cala d’Or centre easily within 15mins walk.

We were in a select pool view room on the ground floor. No coffee machine in room. Requested one which was delivered but didn’t work (the water wasn’t coming through)This was replaced by another but it was also temperamental and stopped working on the last morning…it wouldn’t release the used pods to enable you to put a new one in. In spite of there being loads of available wall space, we were disappointed to find there was no full length mirror. Also a few more hooks for towels/bags etc would have been useful. The wet room type shower seemed to constantly wet under the sliding door where the sink is. Had to get extra towels from the cleaner every day to lay alongside the shower to catch any overflow. The fridge was great but a small freezer compartment in it would have been really beneficial. The pools were closed for approx 2 consecutive days due to children having accidents. I There didn’t appear to be any communications to advise that people could use the neighbouring hotel’s pool. I had to call reception to find this out. Lastly, a large canvas picture hanging above the bed, fell off in the early hours of the morning (2am). The frame hit my 25 year old daughter in the face and the picture landed on her chest. She woke with a start in hysterics thinking that someone was in the room, that they had hit her and were on top of her. In her panic she fell and hurt herself when trying to get out of bed and getting the frame off her. Thankfully, it wasn’t what she thought but she was very shaken up by this. I reported the incident to reception the next morning but the only response was that they would get maintenance to put the picture back up again..no concern was expressed nor any apologies that this had happened nor any follow up about my daughter. I don’t think the girl on reception that morning knew what to do or how to respond appropriately.

Location was amazing!! Walking distance to all the beaches in cala d’or and about 15 mins to the main area with all the shops and restaurants! Pool was beautiful over looking the ocean.

Beautiful setting, conveniently located with many restaurants and shops but not in the busy centre of town. Staff were very helpful and the whole complex was well laid out and beautifully clean.

We like to go out in the evening and sleep in a bit in the morning but the sound of housekeeping staff in the echoey hallways woke us up in the mornings. Also the air conditioning was great to have but it blew straight towards the bed making it a bit too cold to leave on overnight.

Stayed in premium studio with pool view. Room was great has a full sized fridge. Hotel area is lovely, 2 min walk to beach. 10-15 min walk to all the popular restaurants and bars. Cleaning of room was done very well each day. Shoutout to Conchy, she done an amazing job! Cafe on site, food and drink were good with a lovely view. Lots of activities, we booked tennis €10pp and padel boarding €20 for 2 boards. Shop located on site.

No long mirror in premium studio.

Lækker morgenbuffet med stort udvalg. Helt nyrenoveret studiolejlighed med dejlig balkon. lidt udsigt til havet (selvom dette ikke var booket), lækkert med udspringsmulighed/badning fra egen klippegrund Dejligt at hotellet er trukket lidt tilbage fra de støjende bygader i centrum. Kan dog fortsat sagtens gå til centrum og havn, med mindre børn kræver dette nok klapvogn. Skønt med en poolansvarlig som sørger for at liggestole ikke reserveres uden brug. Hun sørgede hele tiden for orden, sikkerhed og at der var plads til nye gæster ved poolen.

Der skal forventes mange børn ved poolområdet Esmerelda-stranden var nogetbeskidt med affald i den periode jeg var der, det var de andre bugter ikke. Cala ferrera virkelig lækkert, ærgerligt man ikke kan tilgå den strand via klippestien rundt ligesom de andre hoteller

Pretty much everything , particularly the daily housekeeper, Conchy, who kept our room immaculate.

The wet room set up is very impractical. Seems to be very popular nowadays but having the toilet pan in the same space as the shower, it's impossible to avoid the floor swimming in water.

Локация просто шикарная - рядом разные виды пляжей (и с песком и плавным входом), и отдельный для ныряния с берега + тут же аренда сапов/горок и тд. Единственное, что мусор на этом пляже отель не чистит, и он там в итоге скапливается у берега 😬. Некритично, но не очень приятно. Стандартный номер достаточно комфортный для размещения вчетвером (2 отдельные кровати для детей в гостиной - без обычного в таких случаях неудобного раскладного дивана). Питание - хорошее (у нас были завтраки и ужины), но сравнивая с групотель, из которого мы выехали накануне, отстает по разнообразию и фруктам.

Не понравилось, что пляжные полотенца платные (недорого, но неохота возиться с этим всем), напитки вечером на ужине тоже платные (это тоже привычно, но включено не было даже воды - это неприятно). Уборка не каждый день

Mooie locatie aan zee en dichtbij restaurants, strandjes en het centrum. Zwembad was groot met een groot ondiep gedeelte, wat ideaal is met kleine kinderen.

Prijs-kwaliteit was niet in verhouding. Het appartement was gedateerd. Een maaltijd bereiden in de keuken was bijna onmogelijk vanwege de staat van de pannen en kookplaat. Wij hadden een appartement met uitzicht op het zwembad, maar van 16.00 uur tot 20.00 uur zat je vol in de zon. Een parasol krijgen was niet mogelijk. Voor de badhanddoekenservice betaal je 1,75 euro per persoon per dag. Dit moet dan ook gelijk voor alle dagen betaald worden. Als je zo'n groot bedrag betaalt voor een verblijf vind ik dat dit erbij moet zitten.

Bra beläget. Underbar utsikt och hotellets bergsstrand är härlig omväxling från sandstränder och solstolar i rader. Älskade speciellt solterassen uppe på berget under poolområdet. Så vacker vy! Morgonmålet varierade från dag till dag och var bra. Byggnaderna är inte nya men det är städigt och rent. Balkongen var rymlig. Gymmet helt super! Bussar avgår precis ytterom hotellet, vi åkte en dag in till Palma med 515e bussen. Cykeluthyrning bakom hörnet. Super med elcyklar att ta sig runt i närliggande byar. Vi cyklade till naturreservatet Mondrago och till en fyr och en fästning och till flera olika stränder och byar. Enkelt men rekommenderar inte för barn. Ganska livlig trafik på vissa delar av området.

Att någon bajsade i poolen och poolen stängdes, lite dålig info om det. En av oss blev sjuk på hemresedagen precis innan vår flygtaxi skulle hämta oss. Så resan hem blev lite jobbig. Såklart oklart om det berodde på dåligt städad pool eller annat men blev lite sån känsla.

Chambre très basique et défraîchie, il y avait quelques insectes dans la chambre. Un peu cher pour le niveau de chambre.

Slitt rom og litt rar lukt på rommet. Ingen klut til å tørke av spisebord og kjøkkenkrok. Fryseren virket ikke.

El Resort tiene muchas instalaciones y la ubicación es muy buena, está sobre cala esmeralda, a 150 m de cala Ferrera. Gran lugar para venir con niños en familia, no así para venir en pareja sin niños.

No es acorde el precio calidad. Las camas son incómodas y solicitamos cama doble con mi pareja y nos dieron dos camas de una plaza pegadas pero con sábanas separadas. El desayuno es insoportable la cantidad de niños gritando constantemente y de comida se repite todo. Hay poca fruta.

Viel Fläche für Kinder zum Spielen. Sicheres Gefühl. Sehr nettes Personal. Alles da.

Innenpool überfüllt und kalt. Außenpool eisig kalt im April. Plattform am Meer gefährlich (bei Reinfallen keine Rettung durch Leiter oder Metallstab, da beides im April abgebaut war.)

Fermeture de piscine trop tôt à 18:00 - on est 2,5h de possibilité de se baigner encore et relaxer au bord. Fermeture du bar aussi à côté de la piscine. Vraiment bizarre. Et pas assez de transats / places

Amazing location, friendly staff, very clean.

Perfect family hotel! We were traveling with 5 years old and there were enough activities for her. From mini club to mini disco from Monday to Friday. Good location as well, away from the noisy bar/restaurant streets. Kitchennette had basic items for the week.

Rooms are bit dated. Tad moldy bathrooms. Other than that we were happy!

Zeer mooi complex. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het zwembad naar de zee en de accommodatie was netjes en schoon. Prijs wel iets aan de hoge kant maar als je het gaat vergelijken met de rest is dat het wel waard

I was disturbed by the cleaning staff at 7:30 am because I was supposed to go, but check out was 11am.
