The location is stunning. Mark is an outstanding host. Communicating with him was quick and very helpful. Good travel directions and local recommendations

Would benefit from a conformable chair in the room

Quiet location, separate entrance to studio. Spacious with everything needed. Breakfast items stocked in the cupboard and fridge. Luxurious duvet and soft pillows

Would have preferred a closer location to carlingford centre to avoid getting a taxi

The shower went hot and cold and may need upgrading.

The host is very good. But the room was very cold, I was given another heater. The towels are wafer thin, but the bed was super comfy.

Too remote, 16 euros each way in a taxi to Carlingford, nearest food and drink.

The house is lovely - well equipped, clean and easy to find. Breakfast was good but a bit limited.

The house is quite a distance outside Carlingford but it was OK. I never met the host and felt this was a bit strange / cold...

Несподобалося те що ми почали трохи голосно розмовляти музику включили трохи хазяїн відразу сказав даю попередження на друге попередження вижену після того він виключив нам на цілу ніч тепло а на дворі було - 2 ми так замерзли що капець води теплої багато не має навіть одна людина нормально не скупалася коротко не рикомендую

Nice place and clean, very comfortable beds. Cosy and warm house and stay. Mark is lovely and very helpful with any information needed. Great nights sleep, good location if its scenery your after. Breakfast is continental.

Very comfortable room, beds were amazing, it was all very well done great spaces to relax in and it really was a safe environment to stay in. Breakfast was lovely too and those views were amazing we will be back :)

Mark provided us with lots of information before arrival including a video how to get to the property. He was also gave plenty of useful information of where to eat and drink together with taxi numbers if needed. A couple of places we tried and were not disappointed. The location of the property was lovely and peaceful with wonderful views and plenty of parking but only a short drive to Carlingford. The breakfast provided was enough to start your day and could be eaten at your convenience which was a bonus. There was also buscuits and fruit which was a nice touch. Mark was an extremely helpful, warm host and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Mark was an outstanding host. Went out of his way to give us information about local restaurants, travel around Ireland and severed hot drinks and delicious breakfast every morning. The stay was a delight , beds were comfy and rooms were clean and inviting. Plenty of parking and a beautiful view of the mountain .

Bellissima casa, immersa nel verde, pulita e accogliente. Stanza deliziosa, con grande bagno e vasca idromassaggio. Mike è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fmdato consigli preziose per il proseguimento del viaggio. Peccato essere rimaste una notte sola!

La colazione era buona ma non corrispondeva alle foto online (uova e bacon). Non c era nulla di cucinato, ci avevamo un po fatto la bocca, ma era comunque una colazione ricca (yogurt, frutta, cereali, formaggio e pane tostato. Mike ci ha preparato il caffè sul momento)

Fabulous location looking out onto Carlingford Lough. Spacious parking. Large clean rooms with en-suite facilities. Continental breakfast and plenty to choose from. Is quite rural so taxi needed to get to an excellent pub a few miles away. Fitzpatrick’s Bar & Restaurant.

The house was clean and well presented with good facilities for our use. The bedroom was large, comfortable and with good views. A fruit and yogurt breakfast was provided and was perfect for our needs. Mark the host was really helpful with recommendations on places to visit in the area and different restaurants available. Would certainly stay again.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I loved the quiet location. Presentation was perfect. My wife worked in the hospitality industry and was very impressed.

The backsplash in the main bathroom behind the spa bath could do with some work. The water pump was mildly disruptive at night.

Such a lovely and beautiful place to stay, quiet and cosy. Great views from my window. The host Mark was great, messaging information with directions and suggestions of places to eat etc before my arrival and keeping me up to date. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a good selection and kept me going as I was planning on lots of walking that day! Had a great stay, Would recommend and come happily return 🙂

The house is in a lovely countryside location, 20 minutes from Carlingford. It had beautiful views of the sea from the front and mountains at the back. The host was very helpful with messages and advice on places to eat. The continental breakfast was substantial. The big bath in the bathroom was a huge plus with bath bombs to use too.

We stayed in Mountain view room, the two single mattresses on the bed pushed together were a bit uncomfortable. The towels need updating. Other than that it was lovely, we would definitely go back!

The house is located in a beautiful setting. Mark is an excellent host, he was there to meet us on arrival, the fridge was well stocked with plenty of food and the beds were so comfortable. Mark gave us plenty of information as to where to eat and local taxis. We will definitely book again.

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful. The host Mark was very welcoming and gave lots of gteat information on the local area. I was travelling with two children who both felt very at home and have both requested we return to see their friend Mark!

Mark was a fantastic host, the room was spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds and lovely and warm. We had our own kitchen area that had everything you would need for breakfast and the shower in the bathroom was powerful and plenty of hot water. We had a great stay in Safe Haven. 5 ☆

The house is beautiful, so clean and warm. My children loved the jacuzzi bath. There was so many food in the fridge, we were really happy with everything.

The host was great and the room was lovely—had a great view of the land leading to the distant sea. It’s on a winding road and you need a car for sure but for motorists it’s great!

The location is amazing if you want to be surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view of the sea. The house is very nice and spacious, and the bedroom was also very large and spotlessly clean. The view from there was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. Our host, Mark, was so accomodating, hospitable and full of great recommendations. We felt like we stay in our home and relaxed during our stay. It's a place that allows you to unwind...

Simply the best!! :) My son and I were making an Ireland - Roundtrip with a rental car, and we stopped by for one night. Mark, an extraordinarily charming, knowledgeable, well mannered Host, was able to make us feel just wonderful. He was showing us two rooms, and we were able to choose, so I decided to take the Mountain View room. Everything was just fantastic! Mark recommended the wood fire oven pizza from a nearby Brewery....just outstanding!! We definitely will be back, next time we will extend the stay! Absolutely worth it 😁

Heating is turned off at night, but that's not too bad, next time we will come in summer 🌞

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful place, clean stylish rooms, sea and mountain views. We found ourselves in an oasis of peace and quiet. Special thanks to Mark for the wonderful breakfast and care. We will be back soon!
