Bathroom smallest I have ever known shower would have been better if I could have removed the shower head to rinse off my body better but it was one that can only had hieght adjustment

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026The location was great, right across the street from the train station, close walk to city centre. Although I didn’t sit in it, the back yard looked very inviting, deep, with mature trees around it, sweeping uphill toward the back. Very cosy. Quiet at night.
I couldn’t figure out the hot water situation and therefore didn’t even try to shower risking possible scalding. If you are a largish person like myself, the bathroom is extremely cramped. Pillows felt like they were stuffed with lumps of foam, very peculiar to sleep on.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026I felt at home and safe during my stay especially that it has a shared kitchenette with drinking water, and a small fridge. It was clean and pleasant smelling which made the stay comfortable. Also, it was helpful to have the locker after checking out. The property is situated near Dover Priory train station, so it was convenient to pick-up my bag on the way back from the beach.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Relatively simple accommodation, however it was exactly what I needed and expected for the price, so I'm very happy. Communication in advance with instructions for self check-in was perfect, and it was nice to have the small en suite and small kitchen (even though I barely used either, due to a later than planned arrival). The location was also excellent for catching the ferry in the morning, and I found on street parking with ease. The bed was more comfortable than many B&Bs I've stayed in!
There was a slightly musty smell in the room, and a plug socket next to my bed didn't work (so I plugged something in overnight, then discovered at the last minute it hadn't charged) - however, nothing serious, and this is likely to become my main stopping point if I have to make a similar journey.

Die Zimmer sind nur über schmale und steile Treppen erreichbar. Sie sind hellhörig und im Bad fließt kein Trinkwasser. Trinkwasser wird separat in einer Karaffe bereitgestellt.

The room was comfortable and had a fridge which i really liked and there is a small communal kitchenette guests can use to heat up or prepare food. Too many steps to get into the building and the room for me as I can hardly climb up. It should be mentioned for disabled people.

Room had very thin walls so could hear the next door neighbour, had to pay to store luggage as there wasn't anyone running reception (self-checkin/checkout accomodation)
