Værten kom ud fra et rum der stank af hash, det i sig selv giver en utryg fornemmelse. Selv om man fik at vide, at man bare skal ringe på klokken, var det det sidste man havde lyst til 😬

Very old building, lots of stairs and no lift. Had to leave our bags downstairs. The bathroom has 2 different tabs one cold and one hot so you either have to use cold or burn your hands. Very small room , but we only stayed for one night, no longer. Location is great for the bus, but also stairs to go up to the place.

The triple room with a very small opening window was very hot and lacked fresh air. Small fan provided helped a little but not enough.

Süsses kleines Zimmer. Waren auf der Durchreise dafür war es perfekt. Es gab Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Besitzerin war sehr lieb. :)

George en Jan zijn zeer behulpzaam en geven met plezier tips voor uitstapjes. George maakt het ontbijt klaar volledig overeenkomstig je wensen. B&B vlakbij station gelegen, maar toch rustig; uitzicht over mooie, groene tuinen. Bushalte vlakbij, maar strand en Dover Castle ook te voet bereikbaar.

Perfect location just a few minutes from the port. Short walk into town for dinner. Off-street parking. Landlady was very welcoming and helpful.

Location was perfect - across the street from the train station. The room is "cozy", but that's what you expect from a very old house in Dover. We had to carry our cruise luggage up several flights of stairs, but that's to be expected at a small B&B in Dover. The staff was great, and the English breakfast was amazing!

Know what you're signing up for, so you won't be disappointed. The room is small, the bathroom is a bit dated, and there's no elevator. These are all things you should expect from any B&B in Dover. My one complaint was the towels - they honestly felt like sandpaper. Everything else was great.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Gastgebern empfangen und persönlich zu unserem Parkplatz und in unser Zimmer geführt. Das 3BettZimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem und es war mit allem ausgestattet, auch einem Ventilator. Es lag ruhig zum Garten raus.

Wegen des viktorianischen Baustils sind die Treppen zum Haus, und auch im Haus, wirklich steil 😬

The location was perfect, steps away from the train station. Our hosts, George, Jan and Michael, were so helpful and wanting to make our stay comfortable. George lugged our luggage up the many steps to our room. Jan and Michael protected our ice and milk from going bad in the hot weather. All three couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you!

The room was functional, comfortable, but small. Really gives you a chance to discover how much you like your travel companion! En suite bathroom really helped. There are many flights of stairs so please be aware if that will be a challenge. Our stay was relatively inexpensive so I would consider it excellent value for the money!

The location was very close to the airport, but was very small and seemed to be quite rundown.

Amazing place, friendly helpful owners. Booked family room as 1 adults 4 children, expected 1 room with all beds in however it is split between 2 rooms like a little apartment. Couldn’t of asked for any more!

Sehr enges Zimmer im obersten Stock. Leider sehr laut wenn das Fenster offen war durch die Straße.

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber und praktikabel. Das Bad ist klein, die Dusche ausreichend groß und funktionell. Beim Frühstück konnten wir Wünsche äußern und bekamen einen frisch zubereitetes, leckeres englisches Frühstück. Die Ansprechpersonen waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für eine Nacht zwischen Anreise nach Dover und Abfahrt mit der Fähre am nächsten Tag war das eine perfekte Unterkunft.

Alles war wie beschrieben, wie erwartet und dem Preisniveau angemessen. Insofern gibt es nichts anzumerken. Es ist ja kein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Fazit: alles okay

We had a lovely one-night stay at this B&B before heading to the ferries to Calais! The owner, George, communicated via Booking about check-in possibilities as we travelled towards Dover and it was easy to send a message back. The B&B is situated just up the stairs and across the road from Dover Priory - perfect for when arriving by train! Just look to the right as you exit the station and you will see the house. It's a charming, older house and what you traditionally think of when you think of British houses (at least as a Swedish person). We stayed in a twin room, room #2, and it was enough for us, there were two single beds, as we had requested, and a small desk, our own bathroom and two windows that we could open to let air in to cool down. The shower was very roomy and as dad and I are of bigger size we appreciated that. We were met at the door and shown to our room by an older lady, sadly I don't remember her name, but she was great! Very funny! In the morning we had breakfast, and met George (also great!) We had the options of continental and/or English and had a full English breakfast which was perfect! I loved the tea as it is very strong! We chatted with the caretakers during breakfast and it just made the whole stay so much more enjoyable than staying at a hotel. Thank you from the Swedes!

Well, as we had two pieces of luggage with us it was not very enjoyable to carry them up the stairs but we managed - but if you have trouble with carrying heavy things you need to bring someone with you who can or consider carrying smaller luggage. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would consider staying longer given the opportunity.

Le propriétaire est très sympathique , on a oublié de commander pour le petit déjeuner , il nous a préparé en 5mn un bon petit déjeuner avant notre départ :-) . Emplacements super juste en face de la gare .

Too many stairs to get to the room

It is very conveniently located if you arrive at Dover Priory station. Also, there is only a short walk into town. Friendly welcome on arrival. Our double room was on the top floor, so we only took to our room what we needed overnight as the stairs too steep with heavy luggage to manage. luggage was secured downstairs. Apparently, the extra paid for breakfast is very good but as we usually have a light breakfast we didn't need it. Double glazing in the front room window blocked out all the traffic noise. There was also a fan in the room, which was good. Immaculately clean with a comfortable double bed. The room was small but adequate, and the shower was good.

There is nothing really to dislike unless climbing stairs is a problem for you. .

Amazing host. He knew we were going on a cruise. I forgot my phone charger cable. He got on his bike and brought it to us.

Sehr nette Besitzer, schöner Ausblick ins Tal auch zur Burg war möglich. Kurze Wege runter zur Küste oder Innenstadt. Gegenüber vom Bahnhof. War auch der Grund der Buchung. Für kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend.

Ein bisschen wenig Ablage Möglichkeiten. Straße unterhalb mit Autolärm.

Die Vermieter sind ausserordentlich offen, humorvoll und zuvorkommend; wir wurden persönlich und sehr freundlich empfangen und mit Informationen eingedeckt. Das Frühstück ist üppig und mit Liebe serviert. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und zur Stadt sind überaus vorteilhaft für öV-Reisende. Ich kann das Zimmer unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Lovely location. A minute from the train station and less than five minutes to downtown. Amazing staff. I forgot my charging cord and they rode their bike and ensured I had my cord.

We stayed here for a night and were really happy with the BnB. Mick was a great host, he was there to do the check in and to welcome us. He had tipps for around the area and we were also able to book breakfast there. The room was clean and neat, had everything you need! Would definitely recommend!

Nos deux nuits se sont très bien déroulées, le personnel nous a accueilli dès notre arrivée et nous a faits nous sentir comme chez nous. La chambre était petite mais très confortable, et tout les équipements utiles y étaient ! Le B&B est très bien placé et accessible à pied depuis le port, que demander de plus !

Das ist ein wirklich netter B&B. Alles sauber. Klein aber fein. Sehr gutes Frühstück vom Gastgeber persönlich zubereitet. Unser Gastgeber war sehr nett und hat uns auch Tipps für eine Stadt Erkundung gegeben.

La colazione era buonissima, i gestori gentilissimi ci hanno chiesto cosa volevamo e hanno preparato tutto fresco e al momento per noi. La qualitá del cibo era ottima e la quantitá piú che soddisfacente. Abbiamo anche potuto portare via della frutta per il viaggio. Ottima anche la possibilitá di parcheggio per una piccola macchina.

Super convenient location with shops just down the road and train station across the road. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a lovely view over the town. The breakfast was FANTASTIC, absolutely the cherry on top of a great stay.

I liked this property because it was so handily located - just across the road from Dover Priory railway station. I chose a room at the back of the house facing out on the house’s long back garden and the woodland of the Western Heights. Although it is situated along a busy main road, the house was surprisingly quiet and made a peaceful haven in which to stay.

I didn’t have any problems with the property.

We used this B&B as our final stop before taking the ferry back home, and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, suggested a good restaurant etc. It's located within a short walking distance of downtown Dover.

The property is located right across the street from the train station, just a short walk to the quaint town and Dover Castle, as well as only 2 miles to the cruise port. Perfect location!! The exterior was adorable and the interior was very clean and well cared for. It’s obvious George, the owner, takes a lot of pride in his home. The icing on the cake was the delicious traditional English breakfast, prepared by George. Jan, a caretaker there, was so sweet and welcoming as well. She made sure we had everything we needed. The two of them really went above and beyond We definitely recommend this beautiful B&B.

Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Alles war sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Es gibt extra Parkplätze direkt neben der Unterkunft, diese sind sogar groß genug, dass wir mit unserem Auto und einem Anhänger dort parken konnten.

We had a really lovely stay! We weren’t expecting someone to greet us on arrival, so it was a pleasant surprise and made us feel very welcome right from the start. The place was clean, well-kept, and had a warm, homey feel to it — not like a typical hotel. It genuinely felt like we were guests in someone’s home rather than just customers. The bed was comfy, everything was nicely maintained, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing — a real highlight of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

George is a very awesome host. He is friendly and easy to communicate. We had a lot of fun chatting during breakfast, which was perfectly cooked by him. The property is just 2 minutes’ walk away from the railway station. Many grocery stores and good restaurants are also within walking distance. The room was clean, spacious, and supplemented with lots of biscuits, tea, and coffee. The bed was very comfortable. I only spent a couple quid per night upgrading to a larger room, and it was very worth it. It was an excellent stay.

Es war mit die sauberste Unterkunft, die wir in England je hatten und wir fahren schon viele Jahre nach England! Wirklich außergewöhnlich sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Obwohl zur Straße gelegen, war das Zimmer absolut ruhig. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht probiert, weil wir schon sehr früh abreisten. Trotz des frühen Morgens (ca. 4.30) wurden wir sogar verabschiedet, vielen Dank!

Nicely located right by the train station and a short walk from the city centre. The stairs are a bit steep but the railings are solid ;) The room was nice, clean, and quiet, facing the backyards and woods. Breakfast was a gargantuan full English on the first morning. (On the second morning, I scaled things down to a more manageable/edible size.) The owner and chef, George, was super-nice, as was his assistant, Jan. Loved my stay here, it felt very friendly and homey, and would go back again.

There was nothing to not like! I can't think of anything deserving a critique.
