The host was super nice. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at bus station. The location is near train station and bus station. It is very central. We walked to fish market. We will stay again if we come by Negombo.

Friendly host family made us felt very welcome on our first day in Sri Lanka. Good location to bus terminal and city center. We even walked to fish market in under 30 minutes. Breakfast was simple but understandable for the price.

Room was too dimly lit and could get way too stuffy without AC as windows must be closed at night to avoid mosquito

Denish was very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to be collected from the airport and he also arranged a bus ticket for me. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I really liked their airy terrace

Super amables! Muy buena gente! Me recogieron en el aeropuerto incluso de madrugada, y luego me llevaron hasta la estación de buses. Muy buen alojamiento super bien ubicado, cerca de la estación, cajeros y casas de cambio también. Muy cómodo y buen desayuno

El propietario nos cobró la habitación nada más vernos, la room era vieja, olía mal, estaba muy muy sucia, un ventilador muy ruidoso y se movía mucho, el baño no pude ni entrar al verlo tan sucio, el olor a moho, sucio, las sábanas olían muy mal, me dio mucho asco, es la primera vez que entró a una habitación así y me fui a los diez minutos, no me importo irme pagando la habitación, no podía estar en un lugar así, no sé como booking permite esas habitaciones, son estafas. NO LO RECOMIENDO, NO VAYAIS.

ホテル側からの突然のキャンセルで宿泊できていません。空港に到着する5時間前に連絡があったようです。夜8時に空港でシムを入れ替えはじめて知りました。そこから宿探しをすることになりました。 家庭の事情なので仕方ないですが、他に対応できなかったのでしょうか。残念です。

La amabilidad del matrimonio que gestiona el guest House. Es correcto. Cama con mosquitera y tienen ventiladores para el calor. Buen desayuno. Nos recogieron amablemente en el aeropuerto y nos hicieron la estancia muy cómoda. Muchas gracias!!

Very friendly and helpfull staff... and a cute family of four cats :) They also provide free shuttle service to/ from the airport, which is also great ! Breakfast is authentic and very nice too!

El personal es muy majo, nos vino a buscar a la parada de bus y nos acompañó a sacar dinero y a una tienda de souvenirs. También nos compró agua. No tiene aire acondicionado, pero los dos ventiladores dan su servicio. Está muy cerca del aeropuerto y hay un par de restaurantes cerca para comer/cenar.

El alojamiento es un poquito antiguo.

Wonderful accomodation in the heart of Negombo

The room was perfect, big and clean with a beautiful style and high quality details. The place is close to the airport. The beach its like 7 minutes and there you have long beach and lots of restaurants. The owners of the hotel was very kind and help us with everything to start our Sri Lanka trip on the best way. I would like all places to be like this from here onwards. I recommend this place 100%.

They are lovely people and allowed me in the room early after a short sleep in the communal area, thanks. The big problem was my included transport from the airport, it was late in the night 2am, it was delayed to 3am and the last message was I will be there. I waited till 4.15 am sending messages and calling. Eventually took an expensive airport taxi, 13,000 rupees, the excuse "my phone battery" but the taxi driver managed to ring and then later I realise you own no car and book taxis. Lovely people overpromising. Room is of the standard you would expect at the cheap price.

This is our best stay in Sirilanka. Very good facilities and very friendly host couple. Breakfast was very tasty with local food. Sitting on a big terrace to enjoy the breakfast was fantastic. The host offered us free late check out and free taxi to airport at night. We immediately book another night for our coming back in two weeks. Very clean and comfortable flat. Highly recommend!

Great location, comfortable space, amazing owners and an incredible breakfast. The room has everything you need - a comfortable bed, a table, a spacious bathroom and even a balcony. The room is equipped with Fans. There is also a corner with a kettle and a set of tea and coffee.

It was a wonderful stay! The owner was really kind.I was so happy! This was my first day in Sri Lanka, and he helped me plan my trip together, which was really helpful. Also, the rice and curry made by the owner's wife was so delicious that I thought it was the "best in the world." I'll never forget it! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a heartwarming stay.

Great location if your wanting easy access to the main bus station in Negombo - it’s a 6 minute walk away. Big supermarket a few minutes walk away too. Breakfast supplied is very yummy and they are very flexible with the time set for breakfast. Very informed and helpful hosts who are happy to chat and give advice and help you out with whatever you need. Free airport shuttle was a nice addition plus I received a lovely welcoming to the property even when i flew in quite late. Note it’s cash only

Slightly overpriced in my opinion but otherwise everything was okay.

The location is perfect. Multiple grocery stores next to hotel. Hotel room was very clean.The owner Dinesh was very nice. It had everything to stay in the room comfortably. They Drop me at the airport at morning 2.00am. I recommend this Hotel 100%

Denish is lovely and hospitable. He picked us up from the airport at 2am, breakfast is completely local and on the last day he prepared us a delicious dinner. He made sure our short stay was a real Sri Lankan experience. We would come back 100%, highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay in Negombo. Our host was extremely helpful and helped organise our trips and airport transfer.

Such a lovely and accommodating family, great space for breakfast/dinner and pickup/dropoff is so convenient. We stayed here twice, great way to start and end our trip in SL.

Free airport pick up, Denish was always accessible via messages. Breakfast was very simple. The hosts are not really helpful with information about buses etc, so better even not to ask but go to the bus station by yourself. Also I didn’t receive change from 20$, so bring small money with you. Actually it’s okay for one-night stay, but don’t expect a lot.

Had a great stay and nice welcome to Sri Lanka. Danish was great picked us up from the airport and pointed out all the sights on the tuk tuk ride back.

I don't understand how Booking works out the quality and scoring of the properties advertised. In my opinion, Booking just lay the hand to get the money and don't care about anything else. This is not a 3 star, and is not a Superb property. The property is exceptionally clean, the staff is Superb, but the property needs much more to be a 3 star Superb, You get what you pay, indeed, and this is a 1 star roperty.

The only good thing about this place is the free transfer to the airport. Otherwise, you should avoid staying here while in Negombo.

Not only the room was not comfortable at all with the area being very dirty but also the towels smelled like smoke from the barbecue and with a disgusting yellowish color, also room is extremely hot, with only a very noisy fan that does not let you sleep at night. There is also a strong smell of mold so if you suffer from asthma, stay away from this place. Practically a disaster. To top it of you are also promised a free transfer to the airport on the day and at 3am the owner told us that he had to book a Uber himself (it was just a very old car not a uber) because his tuk tuk had no lights and so he had to pay us the car himself, so for this reason he didn't want to give us the packed breakfast promised and that we paid for because he said he spent money on the car. Hope that with the extra money we gave you (before actually telling us that we cant have the paid breakfast we paid for) you go to the supermarket next door and buy some cleaning products and clean everywhere very good before actually taking people into your home and make their last night a stay in hell. Also learning some basic English would also help to communicate with your guests well when trying to scam them and not giving them what they have paid for. The value for money you pay is zero! Worst night in srilanka. Don’t get fooled by the booking.com pictures.

Denish and his wife were lovely hosts, and put on a great breakfast. The rooms are basic however were everything I needed for a one night stay. I found their place to be good value for money. Thank you for having me!

There was no communication on the day of arrival for the airport pickup until about an hour after my flight was supposed to arrive. This caused a bit of confusion with another taxi booking I had due to my driver the next day having the same name, and I ended up getting a taxi to the hotel which was almost as much as the cost of the room. I had booked this hotel for the airport pickup as my flight was not arriving until late at night so was trying to make my life easier. Had I waited for a pickup, I would have been waiting well over an hour. The mix up was mostly my fault, but could have been avoided with some better communication and punctuality.

Lovely hosts, had a chat in the morning whilst eating some yummy pancakes and bananas for breakfast. We came for just a night after landing at the airport late at night, we were picked up which was so helpful so we didn’t need to negotiate with the tuk tuks. Really comfortable hotel in the city centre of Negombo. The owners are so kind and friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast and also they took me to the airport. I had a great time there and I'd definitely love to stay again!

Please prepare the exact money for cash payment. The hotel owner was very dishonest. He ‘promised’ that he would return the change in the second day but he didn’t. Also, he provided an overpriced one-hour-and-a-half tour in Negombo and scammed for 5,500 rupees. Normally in other cities a guided day tour will charge for 4-5k rupees per day and he charges 5,500 for 1.5 hours, which is ridiculous.

Great experience. Denish came to pick us at the airport after 10pm and with a huge smile so we really appreciate that. The room was big, the bathroom looks pretty recent (and with hot water). Wifi could be a bit weak but if you have a sim card no worries. Breakfast in the morning, very central (5min by walk from the bus station). We had a great conversation with Denish and his wife. They’re really nice.

I only had a quick stopover in Negombo, but Denish and his wife made sure my stay was comfortable and easy. From a late night pick up, to a delicious breakfast in the morning, and helping me to my connecting bus, they truly went above and beyond. If anything, I recommend staying here just to meet and experience true Sri Lankan hospitality.

Such a lovely family! I was immediately greeted with smiles and they were so such sweet hosts! They both made sure I had everything I needed. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well, and we were able to arrange breakfast early before getting to the airport. Very grateful for the free drop off to the airport in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Denish and his wife made our first night in Sri Lanka so memorable! Denish picked us up from the airport, gave us a tour on the way and made us feel right at home. In the morning, they made us an incredible breakfast and dropped us at the bus station, helping us get onto the right bus. They are such a friendly couple and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Sri Lanka.
