Really nice guesthouse, great location and really helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms too. Water tower you can climb to see the sunset! Would recommend staying here definitely.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, with AC. You could rent a motorbike at the property, they also arranged transportation to/from Port or airport. Bell’s Beach Bar, vegan restaurant, with amazing view was literally next door and it had great food. Baha Bar nearby had live music.

I had my own room but could hear noise from other guests. Since it’s a hostel people were up until late a couple of days in a row. The power had gone out a couple different times on my 1st couple of days, so no AC, no WiFi. Once it was fixed it was good the remaining time.

I had a a quiet upstairs room. It was very clean. I ended up extending for 8 days, they offered to clean the room while I was there. I rented a motorbike and also did laundry. The personal is all really nice, I liked where it was, so easy to get groceries, see the sunset and go to tubod beach. The plus is also the shared kitchen as I like to cook some of my meals. The bed was comfortable, I had hot water, AC and a mini fridge + view on the trees. You can stay here from a few nights to several weeks. Really recommend.

Nice place within walking distance from San Juan - about 15 mins but lots of restaurants and mini marts on the way. You could purchase beer and ramen etc from the guesthouse directly and we got our laundry done for about 80 pesos a kilo (cant quite remember) but it was washed and returned within a day.

Access to chilled water was limited as the water dispensers you can use were often in the sun

First of all, it was nice to have a good restaurant and a supermarket And it was good for the cleanliness of the hotel for the price

Very calm, friendly, no-bs hostel.

The dormitory is kind of janky. The air conditioning machine is inside ONE bunk, so that person is cold and in control.. Similarly, some of the main lights are right over the upper beds.. not well planned.

Great stay at its price point! Small but cozy room, cute colours, enough space for storing bags/clothes etc. Bathroom and shower are spacious. Great location close to dive shops, restaurants and bars.

AC had a difficult time to properly cool the room. Was still able to sleep, but definitely quite warm.

Hele fijne locatie, ze hebben een soort nieuw container gedeelte gebouwd achterdoor waar je in een soort zee container zit. Ik vond het concept best Nice eigenlijk. Maakt het heel hygiënisch voor mijn gevoel. Bedden waren ook super chill.

Ze hadden wel wat meer meubels kunnen plaatsen, een plek om je handdoek op te hangen in de badkamer. Iets om je kleding op te leggen in de kamer. Iets van een stoeletje was al fijn geweest. Moest nu even DIY iets voor elkaar krijgen.

Super Unterkunft, Vorhänge und aircon im Dorm. Hat sogar eine heisswasser dusche und eine Küche zur mitbenutzung. Es können auch Roller gemietet werden. Die Mitarbeitenden sind alle sehr freundlich und die Lage ist auch gut.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft war relativ neu. Die Ausstattung war zweckmäßig (über den Kühlschrank haben wir uns gefreut). Man konnte draußen sitzen und dort auch nasse Wäsche aufhängen. Dass wir die Unterkunft nicht besonders mochten heißt in dieser Bewertung wirklich NICHT, dass sie "schlecht" ist! Nur unsere Erwartungen wurden eben nicht getroffen leider. Vieles dort ist gut gemacht, man streicht und verschönert, Wasser steht zur Verfügung. Wlan, Klimaanlage und Warmwasser funktionierten zu unserer Zeit einwandfrei. Tipp: Bilder der neuen Unterkünfte bei booking.com mit aufnehmen

Die Unterkunft, in der wir waren, ist scheinbar ein neuer Annex. Da man bei booking.com viel über die Bilder entscheidet, wo man bucht, hat es unserer Vorstellung, wie wir wohnen wollten, nicht entsprochen. Der "neue" Teil besteht aus einer Art Baucontainer. Das ist für manchen vielleicht grad gut so, uns hat's nicht so richtig gefallen, obwohl es neu war....es hatte keinen Charme. Auch die in den Bewertungen vielmals erwähnten Bauarbeiten sind noch nicht vorbei. Dabei ist der Lärm am Morgen eher nicht von den Arbeiten, sondern den Arbeitern selbst, die sich ab 7:30 Uhr direkt vor den Containern lautstark unterhalten. Sie sind sehr freundlich, grüßen einen morgens.....aber sie sind halt unglaublich laut. Jeden Morgen! An ausschlafen war für uns nicht zu denken. Leider sind Container nun auch sehr hellhörig . Unangenehm fanden wir auch, dass halt den ganzen Tag Leute über die Anlage laufen. Sie können ja nichts dafür, sie sind am arbeiten....aber ich mag's nicht so haben! Unangenehm war auch starker Uringeruch in unserem Container, dessen Ursprung wir nicht finden konnten. Ich persönlich mochte auch die Korallen auf dem Platz als Bodenbelag nicht, das ist aber wirklich eine persönliche Abneigung.

There was construction at 7am beside our room extremely loud made it impossible to sleep. 7am is too early to start construction at a hotel where people are sleeping should start later.

The dormitory is not well designed because the air conditioner and some lights are located RIGHT inside specific beds. So some people are super cold while others get woken up frequently by lights!

The location is good, super close to the beach and a few different dive shops. The rooms are a good size and they offer free drinking water.

We stayed in room two and our bathroom window (one of those windows that don’t really close) faced directly into a pigeon coop. Whenever we entered the bathroom, we could see, hear (even from the room), and most importantly smell, the pigeons. It was so strange and a bit disgusting, because why would a bathroom window ever need to open onto a pigeon coop? And the windows was so dirty, including pigeon poop. Overall the rooms are not great compared to other guesthouses we stayed at in the Philippines for the same price or less. They seem like they haven’t been deep cleaned in years.

Vor dem Badfenster war ein Taubenverschlag, somit konnte das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden. Leider war die Terrasse vor dem Zimmer morgens in der prallen Sonne ohne Sonnenschutz. Wir haben daher den Tisch für das Frühstück in den Gang gestellt, wo wir im Schatten frühstücken konnten, was entspannt zu regeln war, ohne dass die Betreiber eine negative Reaktion zeigten.

It’s a great value for money. I had a room at the very end of the building on the first floor. It was really calm and quiet area. During my one week stay, my room was cleaned once and all towels and bedsheets were changed. Shampoo and soap were provided in the bathroom which was super nice :) I could also easily rent a scooter (I was asked for my driving license), the owner also organized for me transport to pier. I could also do my laundry for very reasonable price.

Personnel très sympathique et serviable. La guesthouse est entre San Juan et Tubod beach où on peut faire du snorkeling avec des beaux coraux, plein de poissons différents et des tortues en payant 100 PHP. Le dortoir de 8 a un frigo, c'est appréciable de boire frais

La climatisation dans la chambre qui fait beaucoup de bruit. On m'avait donné le lit où est placé la climatisation. Heureusement j'ai pu changer car je déteste cela

La chambre est spacieuse. Il y a un vrai espace douche dans la salle de bain, ce qui est rare en Asie. Clim moderne et non bruyante. Petite terrasse sympathique où on peut étendre ses affaires.

Beaucoup de lumière dans la chambre car petit rideau non occultant... et un peu de bruit le matin avec les travaux de rénovation.

This is my second time here, and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. I absolutely love the staff.They simply can't be kinder or more friendly. Bed is comfortable , air conditioning works , It's close to a couple of my favorite restaurants and dive shop, and there's a kitchen that you can use. What more can you ask for!

I stayed in the 8-person dorm and the plumbing didn’t work. We informed the reception several times, but they didn’t fix it. As a result, we spent three days practically without water.

Väldigt trevlig personal, mycket hjälpsamma! Vi hyrde scooter i 4 dagar och allt gick super smidigt. Lagom stort rum, bra städat och alltid ett plus med en minikyl. Vi bodde i rum nr 6. Ganska bekväm säng och det fanns varmvatten. Boendet låg bara några minuter från centrum och med scooter var det lätt att ta sig runt på ön till alla stränder och andra spännande platser.

Troligtvis bara något tillfälligt, men det saknades en panel för knappar uppe på toalettstolen, men det gick bra ändå.

-the staff -they offer laundry services onsite and rent a scooter - extra pay, but reasonable prices -the aircon and water pressure (hot included) was very good -we had wardrobe, with enough room for big bags -balcony/terrace -location is not that far 15-20 mins from the center. Either way, you need a scooter to move around. We stood in room 7, choose this one if available.

Für uns hat alles gepasst! Sehr positiv war, dass das Zimmer sauber und mit allen Basics ausgestattet (auch Fenster für Tageslicht) war. Außerdem hat das Mieten eines Rollers über die Unterkunft zu einem fairen Preis auch gut funktioniert. Auch ein Laundryservice wird angeboten, dessen Preis dem auf der restlichen Insel entspricht und mit dem wir sehr zufrieden waren. Wasser durfte man immer vom Wasserspender holen und es wurde ein Tuk Tuk organisiert, dass uns nach dem Check-out gegen Bezahlung zum Hafen brachte. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen. Ach ja: Tauchcenter und ein großartiges, veganes Lokal (Belle's Beach Bar) in Fußnähe. Mit dem Roller kann man alles andere gut erkunden.

I had a great time, I única my only booked for 2 nights and I stayed 6. The common room is que te spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is nice. They do a proper cleaning of everything every day. The common area is very simple but it’s cool to hang out with other travelers. The staff is very nice.

The kitchen is not very well equipped, good enough for basic cooking.

NO nos alojamos en el Stella’s Guest house por varios problemas, así que nos movieron a GERSTE INN que es de los mismos dueños y el mismo concepto pero mejores habitaciones.

El wifi estaba roto y no hay nada de cobertura en las habitaciones, así que fue uno de los principales motivos por los cuales tuvimos que irnos. Intentamos alquilar moto y nos dieron una con la luz fundida y querían que pagáramos más por otra. El baño está bastante peor que en las fotos y es muy pequeño, además huele a humedad.

Had a great time in this hostel, the room is very nice and comfortable, it is quite clean. There is a kitchen to cook, they have filtered water and provide towels.

The common area is quite limited and simple but still cute and enough.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Lage super. Wir konnten direkt bei der Unterkunft einen Roller mieten und uns wurde ein Transfer zum Hafen organisiert.

Leider kann man nur kalt duschen, ein kleiner Minuspunkt bei einer sonst sehr schönen Unterkunft.
