Perfect location, clean accommodation. Bed was very comfortable. Staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Garden surrounding the property was beautiful.

Room simple but with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and super clean. A/C ,hot shower ,kettle, nice garden! The breakfast was amazing! With a lot of delicious things! We also did the safari with Nilantha (the host) and we had a great experience!

Amazing stay amongst the forest. Spacious rooms with good AC and mosquito nets, host was very friendly as were all the staff.

Only negative thing was the WIFI. Had to ask the owner to reset numerous times which he did, but sadly only worked for 1-2 hours a day

Rooms were clean with all the listed facilities available. The breakfast spread is scrumptious and home made. If requested they can arrange for dinner too (extra payment, of course).

It might just be us though but it took a while for getting used to the AC as it took it's sweet time to come to a temperature and did not listen to the remote control. Please be prepared to pay in LKR only and in cash.

Wir sind vier Wochen durch Sri Lanka gereist. Wir haben uns von allen Homestays hier mit am wohlsten gefühlt. Wir mussten spontan unsere Buchung ändern, alles ohne Probleme oder Extrakosten. Es war unglaublich sauber, Wasserdruck war stark und die Dusche war warm. Der Garten hat zum Verweilen eingeladen, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sehr unkompliziert. Unser Tuk Tuk ist kaputt gegangen am Abend und er hat direkt eine Reparatur organisiert zum einem extrem günstigen Preis👍. Die Lage ist top für einen Ausflug zum Rock und wenn man den halben Tag in der Wärme geschwitzt hat lässt es sich ideal im schönen Garten entspannen. Jedes Mal wieder!

It is a good price for its value. We loved the breakfast, it was a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The garden is beautiful and you can hear many types of birds sounds, which is very nice.

We saw lizards and a frog in the room but I guess it can be tolerated in the middle of a jungle. The pillows could be more comfortable.

I feel so lucky and blessed to have found this gem in Sigiriya! It’s so central to everything and incredibly peaceful. They have a beautiful garden with butterflies and birds, an absolute haven! The hosts are very accommodating, he drove us to Sigiriya rock and picked us up again for a very small fee and made a breakfast every morning, highly recommend!!

Breakfast was always cold but I’m guessing they don’t have a way to warm it up once it’s made so make sure you go on time 😅

Ruime kamers, goed bed. Veel ruimte om spullen op te bergen. Eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en helpt je met alles. Ook voor een mooie prijs Safari en excursies geregeld. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Iets verder van het centrum maar oase van rust en op korte loopafstand paar leuke restaurantjes

Eine sehr ruhige und schöne Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bietet auch günstig eine Safari an. Die Safari war super. Er ist sehr respektvoll mit den Tieren umgegangen und hat vor allem die Elefanten nicht bedrängt.

It is a perfect round 10!!!! My room was beautiful and had everything I needed. It was spacius and very clean. I like that there was a mosquito net and a repellent on the plug. I believe it helped a lot. I didn't have mosquitos in the room. The owner and his family were very polite and respectful. My personal highlight was the beautiful small terrace in front of my room in the middle of the beautiful garden. Very relaxing and calm.

Le jardin était magnifique, avec de nombreuses fleurs et une lumière douce très agréable. Les hôtes etaient très serviables et gentils. J'ai aussi apprécié le petit déjeuner excellent et copieux.

La Serenité des lieux, le côté sauvage et des chambres spacieuses avec une grande terrasse. Tout est parfaitement propre et les petits déjeuners succulents .. un peu excentré, mais possible de se rendre au centre à pied ou en Tuktuk! Les propriétaires sont attentifs et discrets , et habitent à côté si besoin. Nous avons adoré!

Mieszkanie to osobny dom z prywatnym wejściem otoczony kwitnącym ogrodem, z lodówką, klimatyzacją, suszarką do włosów, czysciutki i zgody z ofertą booking. Śniadania podawane są na werandzie domu gospodarza i są lokalne plus jogurt, owoce, chleb i dżem. Obfite, na czas i bardzo smaczne , w otoczeniu przyrody. Właściciel bardzo przyjazny, pomocny i gościnny. Na naszą prośbę zabrał nas na wycieczkę do Polonnaruwa Ancient City oraz safari, na którym widzieliśmy całe stada słoni i inne zwierzęta. Był tam bardzo aktywny ale z szacunkiem do słoni. Wszystko w bardzo przystępnej cenie. Mieszkanie tu było najlepsze, jak do tej pory, z całego pobytu na Sri Lance właśnie że względu na atmosferę , otoczenie przyrody i dbałość gospodarza. A stosunek jakości do ceny przewyższył nasze oczekiwania.

I loved everything. I had an amazing stay at Sigiriya Flower Guest House! Nilantha is incredibly attentive and always smiling. I was traveling solo and arrived late in the evening, and being welcomed with his warm smile instantly made me feel that I was in the right place. The room is huge and separate from the main house, beautifully decorated with lots of stylish details – I’ll let you discover them yourself. It’s even better than the photos! The bedding and mattress were so comfortable, I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. Breakfast is extraordinary and more than enough to keep you full for the day. Just to the right when you step outside, there’s a restaurant serving incredible curries – a must before you leave! Book your jeep safari with Nilantha – he is very respectful of the animals and a truly responsible guide. The value for money is excellent. There’s an Ayurvedic center just a 10-minute walk away. Don’t miss the Safari Village tour (also a 10-minute walk). And if you prefer a tuk-tuk, just ask Nilantha – he’ll arrange it for you. I highly recommend this guest house for a comfortable, authentic, and memorable stay in Sigiriya!

Nos ha gustado todo, ha sido increíble. Un sitio super bonito, tranquilo, cómodo y super limpio. El propietario era super amable, atento y agradable. Nos ayudó en todo, cocinaba un desayuno increíblemente bueno y lo adaptó a vegetariano. Nos organizó también el safari, fue honesto, muy buen guía...Nada que añadir. Repetiríamos mil veces.

הוייפיי לא עובד, הלחץ במקלחת קצת חלש, אין מספיק תאורה בחדר ובגינה מסביב, יכל מאוד לעזור רשתות כי יש הרבה חרקים (יש כילה סביב המיטה).

Charmante guest House placée par très loin du centre. L’hôte nous a fait découvrir le meilleur restaurant que nous avons goûté au Sri Lanka « kaluwara restaurant » situé à 100m de la guest House. Ils organisent de très beaux safaris !

We loved staying there. Room was nice and super clean, very comfortable bed. You can hear the sound of the air through trees. Breakfast was great. The host is a super lovely family, always helpful and smiling. Nilantha also offers safari tours - he has a fantastic jeep and he knows everything about national parks and more! Super recommended

Sigiriya Flower Guest House was perfect in every way. Set in a mature tropical garden surrounded by nature, with cooling dappled shade and colourful flowers. So pretty and quiet. Just two very well appointed ensuite rooms with a/c, hot water, large comfortable bed with mosquito nets, mini fridge, hairdryer, and a shaded veranda to sit and listen to the birds. Our room was spacious, welcoming and very clean. Breakfast was incredible with a variety of Sri Lankan treats including eggs, fruit, tea and pancakes. Beautifully presented and delicious. Excellent value for money and so much attention to detail. The owner and his wife were lovely hosts, always available to help ensure our stay with them was perfect. The manager took us on a safari to see the Elephants and he guided us up Pidurangala Rock for a sunrise climb which is an absolute highlight of our SL trip. There are a few places within walking distance to have dinner, Kaluwata Restaurant was our favourite. Thank you Sigiriya Flower Guest House, you made our stay in Sri Lanka very memorable.

If you don't need good internet you can read this as a 10 star review if you do then it's an 8 because everything else about this stay was perfect. The room is lovely, huge and very clean and comfortable with a gorgeous terrace looking out onto the flower garden. The AC works well, there's hot water and the breakfast is huge and varied, plus the owner is very helpful. The location is gorgeous and you can walk to everything you want but I would suggest getting a tuk tuk to the rock if it's hot. I also recommend taking the elephant safari with the owner, other people in 'town' were complaining they hardly saw any elephants, we saw 150! He will take you to where the elephants are, not just to the nearest park. Communication with the owner is very easy via WhatsApp and he doesn't push his safari. This was easily my nicest stay in Sri Lanka, I stayed for 5 nights and loved it.

There's a router on the terrace, so the internet should be excellent and it is better in the 4 poster room but inside my room it was bad, as was my dialog SIM connection.

The best place to stay in Sri Lanka! They have the perfect setup for two people to enjoy an amazing stay! The room is beautiful and spacious, with everything you need: a mini fridge, electric kettle, tea cups, bottled water, clean towels and sheets, shampoo, and soap. The room is surrounded by a lovely garden full of nature and peace, yet it’s still close to great places to eat. They arranged a trip for us to see the sunrise at Pidurangala Rock and then welcomed us back with the best breakfast we had in all of Sri Lanka! The hosts are super kind and respectful. Highly, highly recommended!

Beautiful room surrounded by nature, you really get to disconnect. The hosts go above and beyond caring for you, the owner even took me to the bus station the next day. Breakfast was amazing as well.

Our stay at Sigirya Flower Guest was FANTASTIC from beginning to end. Our room was gorgeous (insane value for money). Double four poster bed with mosquito net, nice table and chairs, hot shower with good pressure, lovely big windows and a little patio area to hang out and look at the beautiful garden. After reading reviews, I messaged Nilathe and asked if we'd be able to do an elephant safari at Minneriya that afternoon. He explained the season was better suited to Huluru at the moment and we were happy to be guided by him. We arrived later than expected but he was so flexible for us and took us as soon as we were ready in a super nice and comfy jeep (he also quoted us the lowest price for safari that we'd heard of - 18,000 for 2pax). We asked to stop for a snack along the way and he dropped us at an unreal (and super clean) street food joint. We had the BEST safari. He tried to avoid the massive jeep crowds and we came across a 2 week old baby elephant with 4 females meters from our car and not a single other jeep around (in addition to many other elephant sightings - this one was just particularly special). It was actually raining when we were there but my partner and I preferred to keep the roof open. Nilathe provided us with an umbrella so we could still stand and stay a little drier! He is just a LOVELY man. We walked from the acccomodation to both Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock on separate mornings (you could easily get a short tuk-tuk if you preferred). Just down the street from Sigiriya is Kaluwara Restaurant, run by Ishy. We had our favourite meal in all of Sri Lanka here and when we saw he runs cooking classes signed up immediately for the following morning. Highly recommend you do this too if you enjoy food! (He also had some vaccinated puppies and a giant squirrel he was nursing when we were there). OMG and the breakfast was unbelievable - a little different each morning but usually with hoppers, eggs, fruit, dessert pancakes etc etc etc.

This was our favorite stay during our first week in Sri Lanka! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was an actual hot water shower—a rarity, as many places we stayed at advertised hot water but didn't have it. The breakfast was a feast, and the family running the place was incredibly kind and welcoming. They also offer safari tours to the nearby national park, which we didn't have time for, but it's a great option if you stay longer. This place offers fantastic value for money, and we would definitely stay here again!

The owner and his family are super nice and welcoming people. The room is very big and very clean! Surrounded by nature! Close to it, there are a few nice restaurants. If you want a relaxing stay, this is your place.

It is a bit of a walk till the main area where more restaurants are, but as I said, there are very nice ones close to it and anyways I recommend to rent a scooter to move around sigiriya and the beautiful surroundings! Just be careful with the elephants!

Excellent location for Sigiriya Rock. The room was spacious and clean. Our host was amazing, especially when my husband was bitten by a dog. He took us to the hospital, liaised with the staff and waited with us for 3 hours. Top man. He also arranged a day trip to Polannaruwa with a tuk tuk driver.

Very nice rooms & comfy beds. The owner & his wife were wonderful! We arrived around 7am and even though the check in is way later, the rooms were cleaned and ready for us so we could sleep which was a surprise! The owner organized us tuktuk rides around sigiriya for a good price and also an amazing safari to see the elephants & other animals and birds. Cant recommend enough!

Everything is very good , A very beautiful place. And very clean. It is orderly. Hospitality is civilized. I have never seen a place like this before. The prices are very reasonable. Excellent service that went above and beyond the money . For those who travel alone, for those who travel with friends, for those who travel with family. Best accommodation in Sigiriya.

Pillows were a little too hard

This was one of the best rooms I booked during my three weeks stay in Sri Lanka. The room is super clean with a comfortable bed and you will find everything you need inside. The bathroom is also pretty good with a hot shower and the family is super cute and friendly. The breakfast is okay:) The location is super quiet and in the middle of the nature but within a short TukTuk ride you can reach Pidurangala rock, lions rock or other things to visit. There are some restaurants you can reach by foot but be careful walking around in this area after sundown because of the wild elephants.

The bathroom was visited by a frog frequently but Nilantha was kind enough to take care of it.

Comfortable room with A/C and bed with mosquito net, large bathroom with hot shower. Location 2km from Sigiriya Rock entrance. Owner brought me to bicycle rental. Large breakfast, served early morning to reach Sigiriya Rock before the tourist horde arrive. Recommend this homestay.

The location was wonderful, and the staff member was very welcoming and attentive. Its an undiscovered gem, tucked away and has a Lovely garden.

As for the equipment of the staff and breakfast, everything was excellent.

There was a huge mold in the corner of the room and also in the whole bathroom, which caused a big smell in the room.

This was the best place I stayed in Sri Lanka. Lovely family, modern clean and comfortable room and beautiful surroundings. Absolutely cannot fault this as a place to stay!

We had a nice calm stay here. It was very clean, provided a good breakfast in the porch of the house and we got a lot of good advice from the host about visiting dambulla and sigiriya. He helped us with many things. We also went on the safari with him and we saw many elephants, we felt he was also respectfull to the elephants. Good wifi also. Nice place to stay with a very kind host!

I love staying at this guest house. It was super clean and calm. Nilantha and his family is amazing and friendly. The Sigyria rock is walking distace. I went to a Safari tour and it was amazing. He was really respectfull to animals, I really like that. I had amazing time there, the breakfast was good as well. Very welcoming family. Hingky recommended.

Nilantha was a really nice and helpful host. His guesthouse is comfortable and the attached bathroom is big and clean, the surroundings are simply beautiful with all those flowers and plants in the garden. The room has an air condition and the bad is equipped with a mosquito net! We had a big and very tasty home made breakfast, with salty and sweet dishes, fruit. Nilantha offered us a transport from Habarana train station for a reasonable price, and we also stopped by to grab some food on our way to Sigiriya. For our visit to Pindurangala we rented his scooter.
