For us, staying here meant warmth, genuine hospitality, helpfulness, honesty, and an amazing breakfast. It was so delicious that you simply couldn’t find anything like it outside—it felt just like a home-cooked meal prepared by your own mother. The coffees we had and the Ceylon tea made the wonderful time we shared with you truly unforgettable. Honestly, we also experienced the luxury of staying in a clean, spacious, and airy room. We were also impressed by the location, as it made everywhere easily accessible. They also offer a car with a driver and tuk-tuk service. We are truly grateful to this wonderful family for offering all of this so sincerely and wholeheartedly. We leave with gratitude and already miss you… 🤍

Amazing service and a warm, friendly homestay experience. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast had so many varieties and was absolutely lovely. Mr. Wasa personally ensured everything was comfortable and even helped arrange our local itinerary. Would definitely recommend!

Если у многих мест завтрак повторяется, то тут были совсем другие блюда. И питание берите - не пожалеете! Попробуете настоящую локальную кухню в домашнем исполнении - очень вкусно и разнообразно. Расположение отличное, на территории есть диваны, где можно посидеть, почитать книгу в уединении.

Wir waren in allen Belangen begeistert: - sehr schön gelegenes kleines Guesthouse im Grünen mit viel Charme, ruhig aber trotzdem nah genug zur main road - beide Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Betten waren bequem, die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert (konnte gut eingestellt werden, dass diese nur leicht kühlt), Moskitonetze waren intakt(wobei nur sehr wenige Mücken unterwegs waren) - nette Lounge Area wo man abends noch gut sitzen konnte - das Essen war absolut top: sehr umfangreiches und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, wir hatten auch einmal Dinner, das war sehr lecker - das wichtigste/beste ist aber die Gastfamilie, alle sind sehr herzlich und bemüht, jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Der Host hat alles organisiert: Transfers, Safari, viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben und das mit viel Geduld und Leidenschaft

This stay was absolutely amazing. The owners are more then friendly: they are so warm, kind and nice. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much! The rooms are very clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our kids loved this place too because they had puppies and kittens and they were allowed to play with them. This was definitely the best homestay of our trip and I would book again. Thank you for the great time!

The host Wasa and his family go above and beyond to make your stay amazing! This was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it was so helpful to have his support with planning the trip and arranging activities and transfers. You can tell he genuinely wants you to have a good trip and does his best to connect you to good quality and fair priced activities/ transfers. The room is clean, comfortable, and AC works well. The breakfast is amazing and we had dinner there one night which was also really good. The little details really showed they care, like his daughter offering us afternoon tea on a rainy day.

Les petites attentions l eau le thé le petit cadeau de depart …. De bons conseils et des propositions de transport le moins cher pour aller à Polonnâruvâ et Dambulla depuis chez lui. Wonderful stay. Lovely people, exceptionally clean well kept rooms, diverse and delicious breakfast and dinner, and amazing value for money. Wasa and his family are so kind and caring i almost don't know where to start. I spent 5 days here with my partner and 4yo. They did everything to help us; transfers from the airport and to tourist sites; each morning different foods for my picky child; sorting out safaris; driving me to places in his own tuctuc or car; and finally driving me himself to Kandy. Every day being met with a pot of tea when we got back from somewhere. Felt very looked after and sad to go! I'd strongly recommend.

Wasa, le gérant est très gentil et aux petits soins ! Nous avons eu un copieux petit déjeuner, et la literie est très confortable. La Clim est également très appréciable. Le logement est un peu à l’écart mais cela évite la cohue de la ville. La douche bien chaude et avec de la pression est un régal 🥰

De locatie is een goede uitvalbasis om vervolgens lekker op er op uit te gaan in Sigariya. De eigenaar helpt je graag en geeft ook suggesties, regelde voor mij de safari en als het nodig was een tuktuk om op andere locaties te komen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk!

Были в отеле 3 ночи, нам все очень понравилось. Wasa очень гостеприимный, добрый и заботливый. Спасибо! Wasa помог со всей логистикой: доставил нас в Сигирию, в Eco Park, к Pidurangala и в следующую локацию, в Эллу. Завтраки были очень обильные и разнообразные. Нам приготовили завтрак даже в 6 утра, что было очень удобно и любезно. Также можно заказать ужин, будет рис с карри, тоже очень вкусно. Wasa общительный, показал нам его сад, там растут кокосы, папайя, манго, бананы и sweet apple и возможно что-то еще:) Во время поездки в Сигирию мы работали дистанционно, wi-fi был хороший.

- the position is a bit lost in nowhere; it's ok if you are a coke looking for quiteness, but the city center if like 5 km away - paying only cash, but that's normal in sri lanka

We really felt like we were staying in our friends house not in hotel. The family was so kind and helpful. It was very nice to talk to them, they gave us advices on how to make our trip better. And the breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! Thank you so much for this time, if we ever visit Sigiriya, that’s the only place to stay! :)

Everything was great!

This was one of our best stays in Sri Lanka. Wasa and his family made us so welcome. We felt less like guests and more like members of his family. It's really well located for Sigiriya Rock and close to cafes etc. We ate at the hotel and the meal was really tasty, a lovely mix of food. Breakfasts were excellent too. The rooms are en suite with a/c. This was an excellent stay, I'd happily go back again.

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were extremely hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was absolutely exceptional—honestly better than many restaurants. They also proactively asked if we wanted to go on any excursions and organized everything for us perfectly. Highly recommended!

The hosts were extremely helpful and the breakfast they prepared each morning was delicious! Also located in a quiet area, which was nice if you’re okay with walking/tuktuk to the attractions. At the end of my stay they even helped me find transportation to my next destination.

The bathroom had a little bit of a musky smell, but wasn’t major.

Un muy buen alojamiento calidad-precio. Los anfitriones super atentos, flexibles y amables. Limpieza muy buena tanto de la habitación como del baño. Desayunos abundantes y variados. Nos quedamos a cenar el primer día y fue espectacular de calidad y precio simbólico. Recomiendo mucho este alojamiento. No esta en el centro de toda la actividad pero eso hace muy tranquila la estancia y en 3 minutos con la moto estás allí. Gestionan alquiler de moto y conductor de safari a Minneriya. En resumen un 10.

Très jolie guesthouse dans un endroit en pleine nature. On est au calme avec le bruit des oiseaux. Magnifique jardin. Wassa est très souriant et accueillant, lui et toute sa famille. Il nous a proposé plusieurs activités : l'ascension du pic Pidurangala au coucher du soleil, le Lion rock ( tout près de l'hotel) et un safari extraordinaire à Minnerya avec Inesh, très gentil et qui a pris son temps. Wassa répond à toutes nos questions et n'hesite pas à nous donner de bons conseils et etre arrangeant avec les transports ( il a eu la gentillesse de nous amener en tuk tuk gratuitement au Pidurangala et aussi de réserver un taxi). Le petit déjeuner est très bon et le dîner était fantastique , tous les plats etaient délicieux !!! Bravo ! Sa fille Oshadhi est adorable aussi , et de bons conseils aussi. Un grand merci à vous, on vous recommande ! Venez chez eux , vous ne le regretterez pas !

The hotel and our room were very clean, surrounded by nature and perfectly quiet. Although it was a homestay, the breakfast and optional local dinner were excellent. Our host was extremely helpful—he arranged our safari, organized a taxi for our next destination, and even suggested interesting stops along the way. Overall, a wonderful and comfortable stay that I would highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und liegt in einem hübschen Garten abseits der belebteren Hauptstraße. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen, die Zimmer und Bäder sind geräumig und sauber. Neben dem abwechslungsreichen (auf Wunsch lokalen) Frühstück durften wir uns auch abends im Homestay kulinarisch auf der Terrasse verwöhnen lassen! Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich und immer bereit, die Gäste mit dem Tuktuk zu fahren, sogar vor Sonnenaufgang zu einem der beiden Felsen! Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Casa bellissima a due passi dal centro di sigirya ma immersa nel verde .L’ambiente è molto rilassante ,la famiglia è dolcissima ,colazioni super abbondanti .Una cena abbiamo richiesto la cena ,mangiando benissimo sotto il loro bellissimo porticato .Fantastico !

Struttura molto carina e soprattutto pulita e profumata. Host davvero gentile e super disponibile, ha un tuk tuk col quale ci ha accompagnato in centro per cenare. Colazione e cena tipica cingalese, super abbondante e deliziosa. Davvero consigliato.

Struttura collocata in una zona poco illuminata, necessita di un mezzo per spostarsi ma vicinissimo a Lion s Rock e Pidurangala.

La limpieza era perfecta. El agua caliente funcionaba perfectamente y la habitacion familiar muy amplia. Comida casera muy buena. La familia encantadora h la atencion que te dan perfecta.

Der Name der Unterkunft beschreibt exakt wie es ist. Beste Unterkunft unserer Reise. Super nette und sehr herzliche Familie. Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück und Abendessen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, die Betten gut und es war uns nach anderen Unterkünften eine Freude zu duschen. Wir wurden mit dem hauseigenen Tuktuk in die Stadt gebracht. Leider ist uns der Abschied von hier sehr schwer gefallen.

Property looked very nice with a beautiful garden. Lot of chairs to sit in front of your room. Very good bed with mosquito net. The breakfast was very good. Also one evening the family prepared a wonderful diner with all kinds of local dishes.

The wifi was not always working and the water could be a bit warmer.

A perfect location, quiet and away from the main drag of Sigiriya home stays. We ate at the homestay in the evening twice - a huge and delicious feast and breakfasts were varied and extremely plentiful - we asked for left overs to be wrapped and used them for snacks (for example on our safari tour) later in the day. The hosts could not have been more lovely - nothing too much trouble, lots of good advice and arranged the elephant safari and took us in his Tuk tuk to the rocks when we went to visit. Do not hesitate to book this place.

Lovely homestay! Room very clean and comfortable. A lovely family, so welcoming and genuine. Nice huge breakfast. Only thing is 1/2 frogs in bathrooms - but owners have so much patience and taking them out of there! Would recommend staying!

Viel me niet tegen maar viel me op dat de locatie zich in jungle bevindt en dat het misschien een beetje vochtig kan zijn.

We booked for 3 nights but the place was so nice that we decided to stay one more night. The rooms were clean and simple, and the family was very warm and welcoming! The breakfast had different typical food and was delicious every morning. Is a very peaceful place in the nature, close enough to the main road. The owner is friendly and helped us with some tips about the activities around.

Die Familie dieses Homestays war bezaubernd. Wasa begegnete einem immer mit einem Lächeln, war immer für ein Gespräch bereit und hat mit uns den perfekten Plan für unsere zwei Tage vor Ort erstellt. Er hat uns kostenlos mit seinem TukTuk rumgefahren und immer probiert die beste Lösung für uns zu finden. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren so lecker und wirklich riesige Portionen. Man konnte so viele verschiedene Sachen probieren. Das Homestay selbst ist super ausgestattet und sehr schön im Grünen gelegen mit einer tollen Terrasse. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet.

De sødeste, mest hjælpsomme værter. Den bedste service, vi har oplevet på et hotel i Sri Lanka. Der blev taget hånd om os fra vi kom til vi gik - langt over det forventelige. Der blev serveret kolde lemon juice drinks, da vi kom. Og vi blev tilbudt både te og kaffe. Det største og mest lækre morgenmad fik vi serveret i den fineste restaurant lige ved siden af. Vores værelse var større end forventet og meget rent og pænt. Værten anbefalede os et spisested, hvor vi endte med at have den hyggeligste aften med familien, der ejede stedet. Den varmeste anbefaling fra hjertet.

I proprietari sono stati molto accoglienti anche se siamo arrivati la sera tardi. Avevamo una tripla al primo piano con un terrazzino privato con vista sul giardino che è bellissimo e pieno di piante di ogni genere. La colazione è abbondante e varia. In 10 minuti si arriva al lion king. Consigliato.

Hosts were fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely welcoming drink. If you stay, be sure to take with you a coin from your home country for the son of the host - he’s collecting!

Wspaniałe miejsce. Przepiękny dom położony w ogrodzie, czyste pokoje z klimatyzacją i przede wszystkim cudowni właściciele. Zadbali o wszystkie szczegóły naszego pobytu, wozili tuk tukiem do pobliskich atrakcji, organizowali transfery w bardziej oddalone miejsca. Przepyszne jedzenie - bardzo urozmaicone śniadania i wyśmienite kolację (uwaga!  serwowane porcje są gigantyczne). Żal było nam wyjeżdżać. Bardzo bardzo gorąco polecam!

The family that runs the house is very friendly and made us feel really comfortable in their home. The rooms are big enough having a wardrobe and bed with baldachin. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Geweldig lieve familie die je met open armen ontvangen in hun mooie huis. De kamer is schoon en goed op orde, buiten kun je lekker zitten aan een vijvertje en genieten van de natuur geluiden. De host zit vol goede ideeën van dingen om te doen in de omgeving, ik kan je echt aanraden om dit met beide handen aan te pakken! We hebben zo heerlijk gegeten en een bijzondere kook les gehad. De host reed ons overal naartoe, al was het midden in de nacht om de rots te beklimmen. Ook wachtte hij op ons bij de bushalte om zeker te zijn dat we veilig terug kwamen in de avond. Hij stond er met een grote glimlach, en dat allemaal kosteloos. Het ontbijt was het meest uitgebreid wat we tot nu toe hebben gekregen, heerlijk. We zijn ontzettend blij dat we hier hebben verbleven, het heeft onze reis verrijkt. Dikke aanrader!

We hebben geweldige twee dagen gehad bij Wasaa en zijn gezin. Een lieve familie die meedenkt en je graag wilt helpen. Wasaa vertelt je graag meer over de omgeving en de geschiedenis. Het ontbijt was fantastisch. Wij raden deze accommodatie zeker aan en zullen zeker terug komen als we weer naar Sigiriya gaan.

A lovely family run place which we managed to book last minute after our own booking let us down. They turned the room round in 30mins for us. Aircon in both our rooms with mosquito nets really helped us feel secure. A visit from the mini frog in the shower was hilarous and very cute. They helped us get to the local resturants and organised early quick food before our climb up Sigiriya, followed by a lovely spread when we got back. Such a relaxed time there.

We came here after my parents and sister told us it was the one place in Sri Lanka we must stay. They have told me so many stories about their stay and how wonderful the family were. When we booked our flights, this was the first place we booked. I am so pleased we could stay and finally meet the family and see Sigiriya after hearing all the stories. The family were so kind, friendly and welcoming. Waka drove us in a tuk tuk to Lion rock (10 minutes) which we climbed, he was there to pick us up two hours later. He organsied a safari for us and even got up at 4.50 to take us to Pedurangala Rock to climb and watch the sunrise. The location is great for doing all of the above attractions. The breakfast was very good, lovely sitting surrounded by nature. The room was comfortable, we had a good nights sleep and great to have a mosquito net. Lovely host and family, couldn’t recommend more highly. If you are looking for a traditional Sri Lankan experience, this is perfect.

Bonjour, nous avons séjourné dans cette magnifique hotel. Tout d’abord, nous avons jamais eu un aussi bel accueil que dans cet établissement. Le gérant du lieu est souriant et plein de bonne humeur tout le long de notre séjour. Pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner, cela était aussi incroyable avec une multitude de plat, qui peut plaire à tout le monde….( sucrée, salée ) Pour ce qui est du soir, n’hésitez surtout pas à demandé des adresses au gérant pour le restaurant car les suggestions sont splendides…. Pour les chambres, tout étais nickel et propre avec des serviettes à disposition. Merci encore pour ce séjour qui restera sûrement gravé à vie.
