great location to the beach and supermarket. a short drive to the Mount Maunganui main street to bars and restaurants. Small & compact but has everything you need for a short stay. Well-presented and very clean and tidy.

Clean, quiet and convenient for the 2 nights we needed it.

It didn't damper our stay but something to be mindful of, not much space so good for a night or 2 to sleep. Parking is on the road only.

Was a nice cozy room with a very comfortable bed. Location is one street back from the beach and most of the main attractions of Tauranga. Very clean and modern decor perfect for our quick stop over

I absolutely loved my stay here and honestly wished I could have stayed an extra night. The cabin was warm, cosy, and so inviting from the moment I arrived. I really appreciated how it was tucked away down the driveway, giving it a lovely sense of peace and privacy while still being easy to find. After a long day of travelling, the bed was incredibly comfortable and exactly what I needed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It truly felt like a little home away from home.

There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like. If I had to mention something, it would simply be that I wish I could have stayed longer!

Was a great stay at the pod beach. Great staff. easy instructions for late night check in. Even let us check out at a later time too which we were grateful for.

We came across a cockroach. Nothing to intense.

The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay.

The air conditioning was not working properly when we went and the room was too hot in the afternoon, almost impossible to stay in. Apart from that, the toilet paper support needs some repair too. But nothing that made us not enjoy our stay.

Lovely and clean accommodation with new fittings etc. All appliances one wcould need for a stay. Coffee and tea, and fresh milk supplied. Comfortable bed.

Space a little bit tight, but not a major. Maybe less bulky pillows?

Very nicely decorated with wonderful art work and very trendy kitchen ware. The bed was very comfortable although as we are seniors the accommodation was tight. This would be absolutely excellent for a younger couple.

We had the misfortune of only being able to use one night of the three nights we had booked. This was due to the very bad weather we encountered causing land slides and road flooding. We were hoping that possibly the property owner would split the difference with us and provide a partial refund of one of the nights we had booked. We didn't get any response when requested.

Excellent location - a quiet haven close to the beach and a stones throw from a few eateries. Lovely clean accommodation and friendly hosts.

Only small so you have to manage your space well if you have big luggage.

I’m not one to ever write reviews about places but this has to be the best place I’ve stayed in, it’s perfect and can’t fault the place or the people one bit, 100% worth the money and would recommend this place to anyone, the stay here alone has made my NZ trip worth it and would be the main reason I come back. 10/10 for sure, can’t beat it

The studio was super cosy and completely clean with all the amenities we could need. Our hosts gave clear instructions for our arrival as well as clear advice for using the pod. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely little place. Although small had what I needed and very clean. All the little extras were much appreciated and the bed exceptionally comfortable.

The host was very friendly, and the place was comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. I especially loved the patio.

Die Lage war super und der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer hatte alles was wir brauchten.

Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr einsilbig und meine letzte Frage wurde nie beantwortet. Am nächsten Morgen ist sie an mir vorbeigegangen ohne Hallo, Guten Morgen oder ähnliches zu sagen. Das Silikon in der Dusche war sehr schwarz und der Lüfter in der Dusche sehr verdreckt. Das Fenster im Badezimmer hatte einen abgebrochenen Griff und man musste rausgehen, um es wieder zu schließen.

One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on at booked accommodation. Perfect size, clean and modern! Has everything you need for a quick stop in or a few nights in. Staff had great prompt communication. It was a really refreshing experience, thanks to the team.

Kleine, aber feine Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage und strandnah. Problemloses Parken auf der Straße davor. Super für ein paar Tage, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Es war eine kleine, gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollem Bett, kleinem Küchenbereich und kleinem Badezimmer. Der weitläufige Strand als auch der Supermarkt war fußläufig erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert, die Übergabe des Schlüssels und der Abschied waren sehr nett.

Fantastic location. Perfect for our needs. Very accomodating and friendly hosts, who respected our privacy and were prompt in replying to any questions. Instructions about the property were clear and easy to follow.

Would have been nice e to have a comfy chair rather than having to sit on bed. Also outside chairs and table and not comfy.

Läget till stranden var väldigt bra, även till mataffären. Rummet var väldigt litet, men helt ok. Fanns allt vi behövde för att själva fixa frukost.

Vi hade önskat 2 cyklar som skulle finnas utan extra kostnad. Vi hittade inga cyklar.

I really like the location — it’s close to the beach and in a quiet, peaceful area. The bed is super comfy and cozy, and the shower is great. There are also cutlery and dishes for light meals or breakfast, which is really convenient. It was a short trip for my birthday.

I’d rather have UHT milk than milk in a jug.

Good stop over in a great area. Quiet and beautifully clean. Only gripe was the tv not functioning.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room which may have been curry. There was parking available on the road but it is quite a busy street. The offstreet parking is in a shared driveway and on the 1st night at around 8 pm I had a couple of guys knocking on the door asking to move the car so they could get their boat out which was not ideal. Another day the driveway was blocked by cars so the off street parking is not always an option.

The pod was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and close to the Mountain Maunganui shopping area and sporting areas.A supermarket just up the road fantastic walking tracks along the beach front.

Very comfortable and convenient for a last minute booking.. the heat pump was great kept us warm for the night.

Cozy little pod, pretty private although on a private property and close to other buildings. Got a little outdoor area which is nice. The pod itself is well equipped and clean. Good communication. Good location.

The pod was well positioned and private. The room setup was good too. Big shower, great water pressure, comfortable bed, good kitchen, room for suitcases. Parking available at the end of the drive by main house or roadside. Microwave, fridge, air conditioning, good bench space. Security light.

Close to Mount Maunganui if you're thinking of driving over there for a sunrise hike! Room is simple for a night's stay with basic amenities. We found a cockroach but managed to exterminate it with the bug spray in the room, thankfully. Appreciate the hooks and hangers in the room for coats etc.

Property can be quite tough to find if you arrive at night. Host tried her best to give instructions over message and we took some time to figure out in the dark. There is on site parking after you get through the rather narrow drive way.
