I had an excellent stay 😊 The room was perfect for my needs! All the kitchen essentials were provided, the bathroom was well equipped, especially the fantastic high-pressure shower. The property was clean and well maintained, both inside and out, and my highlight was the private access to the beach 😎 Rob (host) was exceptional 🙌 He was incredibly kind, accommodating, responsive, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Rob's hospitality really made this experience stand out! A beautiful, well kept property with a wonderful host 👏 I would absolutely stay here again. See you again soon Rob 😊 Thank you!

The room has 2 other access doors which cannot be locked from the inside of the room

It is well secluded, has everything you need and it is thought on little items you need for your stay, super close to the beach.

Outstanding location 10/10 and such a friendly host!

We stayed for just one night but it was perfect for us. We stayed in the smaller garden studio and it was very good value for money. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Couldn’t really get a better location, beach at your doorstep and shops a 10 minute walk away. The owner is very observant and approachable, happy to help your stay work for your needs.

The house is clean and has a pleasant, fresh smell. The best part was being able to feel the sea breeze rushing down the street, which made you feel incredibly close to nature.

Lovely accommodation when the weather is beautiful. Great access to the beach and lovely terrasse to enjoy your meals or a cup of tea.

We were lucky as it rained only once during mealtime but on that occasion, we had nowhere to sit in the room to eat. We had to eat in the bathroom and that was not great. All we needed was a small table in the room (we didn't want to eat on the bed which we thought was inappropriate - we were having bolognese!).

The location is amazing! So close to the beach which we love!

It would be good to have a larger bin for the kitchen spot.

Location was good and the beach was easily accessible. The shower was very good and bed comfortable. Netflix being available was a plus because the weather was atrocious.

The room was very compact and parking was tight.

Rob is a great host, the location was great, we're happy to go back some time.

The booking system could be better - the instructions on which key from the lock box applied to the room we booked were a little difficult, but Rob provided his phone number so had plenty of opportunity to clarify before arriving. I loved the beach but there were big dumping waves, so not the safest for all levels of swimming ability.

The owner was friendly, and gave me a free upgrade which was nice.

No air con (apart from a fan) - the shower was blocked so it filled up to my ankles - there were ants in the room (not much but noticeable enough crawling around on the bed etc.) Probably normal for a beach town though.

The best location Ive ever stayed in! Less than 20m from the beach with great surf. Rob is a great host who was welcoming and made the whole process easy. The room was large with en suite and with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. 10/10 will be returning when I'm next in Tauranga.

Room 2 needs an air conditioner or a proper fan. The room was boiling hot day and night. "Toiletries" only includes liquid soap by the basin and in the shower.

Love the location everything is near you e.g Restaurants, Bar even the plaza. You even have closer access to the Beach. Sunset is so beautiful.

Rob was a great host! Really friendly and had a nice chat when I arrived at the property. He stocked the fridge with fresh milk which I really enjoyed. Thanks Rob :) The room has a separate path from the front so you don’t need to tiptoe past anyone who may have booked the other room. It is in the perfect location too being so close to the Mt Maunganui Coast beach. It took me all of 2 minutes to walk from my room to the beach! It doesn’t get any better than that!!

The Queen bed with Garden View had a big window into the small courtyard of the property where the neighbours could see in, however, this could easily be closed off with the vertical blind or the curtains for complete blackout. The room was really warm during the day and was difficult to keep cool (to be fair, it was about 25C outside). The car space by the front door is a bit tight for bigger cars, utes etc. but you can always park on the road if you need.

Rob’s communication was great and check in was a bliss. We were there for an event so we didn’t get to spend too much time in the room. However the location was great. We loved being able to walk on the beach to get breakfast. A quick dip in the ocean was a great end to our stay.

It would have been nice if the curtains kept the lights out. With the room being on the ground floor, there was quite a bit of noise from the main residence (steps on squeaky stairs) which worked as our alarm clock in the morning. 😅

Clean upon arrival and even closer to the beach than I was expecting! Fresh milk kept in the fridge and the host was very friendly!

Location to the beach. Off street parking. Rob was very friendly. Central location to get to Tauranga, the airport and Bayfair shopping centre. Close to where my family was that I was visiting. Bed was very comfy.

No aircon. Furnishings were a little dated. Instructions to get into property were a little confusing at first. I needed to speak with Rob directly regarding this as initially I had no phone access or Internet. A lounge would have been more comfortable, but understand that space was limited. The outdoor space was a little untidy and unkempt.

Perfect location right on the beach and a short drive to cafes.

Very comfortable, modern and clean, with off street parking and close to “The Mount”. Also, direct access to fantastic beach. I will be booking in again when next in Tauranga.

Location was perfect. Easy access to the beach. The host is super friendly and accommodating.

The Location was superb. The sun came in first thing in the morning. We walked to the beach to start the day. The owner apologised for the shortcomings and offered a free night or refund. He promised to sort it out.

The room smelt very bad. It turned out to be serious mould around the window and on the blind above where we slept and generally poor cleaning practice elsewhere. We would not have stayed but had no choice.

Great place to stay Robs easy going and helpful... 20 metres to the beach... Lovely room quiet and cozy for 1 - 2 people no cooking facilities but has what you need for a cupa and toast... But you don't need to cook you're on holiday go to a restaurant...

Very clean and hygienic in my room been able to go outside open up the gate straight walk ahead and right on the beach nighttime listening to those waves are very blissful

Separate area for washing dishes please (or a tub of sorts)....not the bathroom. I couldn't find a rubbish bin in the dining/lounge area.

The location was perfect 👌 hop, skip & jump to the ocean and local shops. Rob was happy and helpful. There was a bbq, washing machine and dryer, outdoor furniture, great privacy, bed super comfortable, room was spacious, parking for the car and great neighbours! Walks and swims on the beach every day was sublime. Would recommend BEACH BLISS to anyone 😊

Not really a dislike because we worked around it and it wasn’t a real hassle but maybe just a couple suggestions We had to wash dishes in the bathroom and for long term guests a proper prepping area for food and dishes would be super helpful. Maybe a chopping board, and a microwavable salad bowl And a bigger bin please 🙏🏽 ROB IS AN AMAZING HOST

Fabulous location on Omanu beach, just a one minute walk and then you have miles and miles of beach! The host Rob was so welcoming and very thoughtful, we had great fun using the bodyboards that were available to use. Only disappointment was that we didn’t get to meet Freddie as she was too shy….! Room was very spacious, bed was huge and comfortable, and nice powerful shower. Definitely will be returning!!!

Good beachside location if the weather is good. The owner Rob, is very proactive in addressing any issues.

The room was unexpectedly very small. The owner has now updated the quoted room sizes. The only seating area is outside which is dependent on fair weather, which unfortunately we did not have.

Good location, clean

Functional, not a lot of room.

Rob was super helpful and communicative. He answered my queries and put whiskey glasses in the room for our special weekend. It was easy to find the key and enter privately.

A fan or heat pump would have been welcome when we arrived as it was quite warm in the room. Thankfully we got the wall heater to run on fan mode.

I didn't stay I went book somewhere else it wasn't ready when I got there ring no answer, so I when stay somewhere else
