A very small room and tiny bathroom which had a lot of mould so everything smelt mouldy. Breakfast experience on the first morning was very poor in terms of service and quality, the second morning was a great experience, good service hot food and we were asked if we needed anything else.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Sharon and her staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and served with a smile. The location was excellent for sightseeing ie: Stonehenge, the Cathedral and lots of lovely shops. The walk through the water meadows to the town and railroad station was very pleasant and enjoyable.
The bathroom door handle needs attention but didn’t distract from our enjoyable stay

Les draps étaient tachés, les matelas complètement tassés si bien qu’on avait l’impression de dormir sur une planche, la salle de bain et la chambre n’étaient pas propre. Pas de commentaire sur le petit déjeuner que nous n’avons finalement pas pris.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft am Rande von Salisbury! Wir waren vom Ambiente der Zimmer sehr begeistert. Wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen und wieder besuchen. Der Fußweg in die Stadt war länger als gedacht, aber sehr idyllisch. Gleich neben der Unterkunft gibt es ein leckeres Restaurant.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Colazione molto buona, va ordinata la sera prima e la preparano la mattina al momento, oltre a un piccolo buffet.Avere un mini ancolo cucina in camera é stato molto comodo. Parcheggio in strada effettivamente facilissimo da trovare. In 15 minuti a piedi si arriva alla cattedrale con un percorso quasi tutto pedonale. Camera ampia e accogliente.
Check in troppo tardi (h 17, non negoziabile). Forse servirebbe un po' di manutenzione sulle camere (varie crepe sul soffitto).

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Süßes altes englisches Haus. Typisches englisches Guesthouse, so wie man es sich vorstellt. Frühstück sehr gut. Stadt ist mit einem schönen Spaziergang in ca. 15 min zu erreichen. Mit kleinem Auto kann man direkt vorm Guesthouse parken, wenn man Glück hat.
Einzig, dass man erst ab 17 Uhr einchecken kann, finde ich nicht so geschickt. Wir waren 16.30 da und konnten aber schon aufs Zimmer.

Era un sottotetto, veramente caldissimo! Purtroppo le temperature estive sono salite moltissimo anche in UK, è necessaria l' aria condizionata! I proprietari hanno messo a disposizione un ventilatore, ma la temperatura era insopportabile ed il ventilatore inutile! La colazione è completata, ma non molto buona. La pancetta era molle ed in generale i prodotti non erano di grande qualità!

Os quartos estava bastante empoeirados e havia algumas teias de aranha. O ventilador disponível também estava completamente coberto de poeira, dando a impressão de que não havia sido limpo há bastante tempo. Outro ponto que poderia ser melhorado é o horário do café da manhã, que termina às 8h30. Para quem está de férias, esse horário é bastante cedo e não permite descansar e dormir um pouco mais. Por fim, viajamos com dois idosos e somente ao chegarmos descobrimos que um dos quartos tinha o banheiro com banheira, sem box para banho. Essa informação deveria ser avisada previamente, pois eles não tinham condições de entrar na banheira para tomar banho. Felizmente, o outro quarto tinha chuveiro com box e conseguimos trocar os quartos com eles. Acreditamos que essa informação é importante para que os hóspedes possam escolher o quarto adequado às suas necessidades.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026A lovely guesthouse, with comfortable rooms, plenty of airflow from the large (and reasonably safe) windows, and a pretty decent shower. Breakfast options were varied, though I opted for simply cereal and toast, so can't comment on the cooked food – looked good though! Location is excellent as well, with loads of local walks around the water meadows, a short walk into Salisbury (with excellent views of the cathedral), and several nearby pubs.
Check-in is very late, and there's basically no parking, though the roads nearby are all unrestricted, which makes things simple enough, but more information would have been beneficial.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Notre chambre avait un bow window sans occultant mais des rideaux pas assez grands ni assez épais pour empêcher la lumière de rentrer donc manque de sommeil . Contrairement à ce qu'il était dit il n'y avait pas de parking réservé pour l'hôtel. On a dû garer la voiture à Salisbury et retourner à pieds à l’hôtel soit 20 mn de marche heureusement qu’il faisait beau temps et que nous avons l’habitude de marcher. Nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement

The location is about a 10-15mins walk across the wonderful water meadows into the city centre and to any supermarkets. There is a lovely pub very close by.
The wooden toilet seat was a little damaged and could be replaced.

Be aware that check in is not until 5:00pm and check out is at 10:00 am. Parking is a big issue, the guest house has none of it's own, so if you're lucky you can get a space in font of the house where there are 3/4. The fan was noisy so we couldn't have it on all night it was hard enough to sleep with the heat!

It's located just a short walk from Salisbury city centre, yet feels wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The setting offers the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. Breakfast was delicious, and I especially appreciated being asked to choose it the evening before. It's a thoughtful approach that helps reduce food waste, and I really liked seeing that kind of consideration. The pub next door creates a warm, lively atmosphere in the evenings, adding to the character of the place. And with the beautiful pond-like area just a short stroll away, I honestly can't think of a better place to stay during the summer. I would happily stay here again.

We were lucky to find a parking space the second time we tried. It is free parking because it is street parking, not on site. We did not get a good night's sleep as the bed was very uncomfortable, a wooden slat seemed to have come loose.

Timings for breakfast could be extended. Unable to park on site but on road close by.

Pulizia da migliorare: lenzuola e asciugamani presentavano macchie evidenti. La camera era inoltre molto fredda. Solo il secondo giorno ci è stato mostrato come regolare i termosifoni, ma comunque al mattino la stanza era comunque gelata. Comunicazioni con l'host non ottimali
