Wi-Fiがなかったです。 またトゥクトゥク用意してもらったらぼったくられたので、オーナーに用意してもらわず、自分でタクシーを手配した方がいいです。

Nice pool

The owner was very unpleasant. He was angry towards my family and demanding of money.

EMPLACEMENT INCORRECT! 1h à pied entre ce qui est notifié et la réalité … L’hôte peut se montrer insistant pour qu’on le prenne lui afin d’effectuer nos trajets ou pour des safari tout en gonflant les prix. Il faut rester ferme pour être plus tranquille

The hotel had a new accommodation block in which we were put up and a new pool (much nicer than pictures on booking show). On top of accommodation there is a roof terrace with views to the rock.

It was down what felt like a long side road, far from most restaurants etc (there is an excellent one opposite and they do offer meals themselves). Location marker on booking is wrong, check on a different map. Can’t really walk to Sigiriya rock entrance from here which we had hoped for.

L'insistenza da parte dell'host per offrire servizi aggiuntivi,in particolare molto insistente riguardo al safari e al consumare cena in hotel. La camera aveva tutto il necessario ma un po datata, con presenza di numerose formiche (entravano dalle crepe del bagno). Per arrivare all'hotel dalla strada principale vi è uno sterrato molto buio.

We had a nice stay, we did some tours (safari, Polonnaruwa..) with them. We also ate there breakfast and lunch, food was very good. Everything was nice, I would stay there again.

Bè... ragazzi... se passate da Sigiriya dovete soggiornare qui!!! Assolutamente! Posizione: TOP! è ideale per visitare le attrazioni del luogo, vicinissimo al Lion Rock, neanche 15 min. A pochi passi a piedi e sei sulla strada principale dove hai ha disposizione molti ristorantini carinissimi!!! Il nostro preferito era poco distante. Comunque c'è la possibilità di fare colazione e cena in loco, e... mamma mia... la cuoca, NILU, è fenomenale! Tutto buonissimo e abbondantissimo! Struttura: Bellissima, un angolo di paradiso davvero! Regna una pace innaturale! Le camere sono sia su una struttura più grande sia in casette separate, noi abbiamo alloggiato in queste ultime, le quali hanno anche un portico spazioso completo di divanetto e tavolino. Il giardino è grande e super curato, poi spicca la piscina, aaaa che goduria dopo una giornata in giro al caldo! E infine il chiosco dove c'è la cucina e il posto per mangiare, non è grande, ma non ha mai lasciato in piedi nessuno! Una sera per noi hanno messo un tavolo in giardino perchè il chiosco era pieno, bellissimo! Camere: spaziose il giusto, pulite e essenziali, bagno molto buono, letto a baldacchino e grande. Personale: vi dico solo che andrei a vivere con loro! Anche se dovessi lavare i pavimenti dalla mattina alle sera. Sono una famiglia eccezionale! Il padre fa sia da giardiniere, che da imprenditore, che da guida safari, la madre è la vera anima del posto, accogliente come nessun altro, sorridente sempre, ed è una cuoca davvero sopraffina! Poi ci sono le 2 figlie, bellissime e bravissime! Aiutano anche loro nel loro piccolo. Ci tornerei davvero domani se potessi. Ho vissuto 5 giorni indimenticabili. Grazie davvero a questa famiglia.

La dona de la casa i la seva filla petita van ser un encant desde el primer segon. Va ser com una nova familia, amables, generoses i simpatiques sempre. Ens van ajudar amb tot el que vam necessitar (transport, hora d'arribada, recomenacions) La piscina era increible i el ambient fantastic, estaves dins de la selva amb ple d'animals salvatges. La habitació era molt correcte.

Una mica bruta la habitació. I el home de la casa va ser molt insistent i arrogant quan li deiem que haviem reservat safaris i transports amb altres companyies. Va actuar de manera bastant desagradable al no voler utilitzar el seu servei.

Amila y su familia son unas personas maravillosas tratan de ayudarte en todo momento nos ofrecieron hacer el safari con ellos por muy buen precio y se preocupó de que pudiéramos ver todo, los desayunos y las cenas son espectaculares, demasiada comida en mi opinión. Notre premier logement au Sri Lanka, et nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux ! Nous avons passé 3 jours dans ce magnifique endroit après un long voyage, et quel bonheur ! Les hôtes ont été aux petits soins avec nous du début à la fin. En plus du cadre absolument magnifique et de la superbe piscine, le rooftop offre une vue directe sur le Lion Rock, ce qui rend l’endroit vraiment exceptionnel. Le cadre est superbe, mais ce qui fait surtout la différence, ce sont les hôtes, d’une gentillesse incroyable et toujours prêts à nous faire plaisir. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner, qui est sans aucun doute le meilleur que nous ayons pris au Sri Lanka ! Un grand merci à cette adorable dame qui nous a préparé chaque matin de délicieux plats avec beaucoup d’amour. En plus de tout cela, l’hôtel nous a permis d’avoir accès à un safari exceptionnel, durant lequel nous avons eu la chance de nous retrouver au cœur d’une troupe d’éléphants. Un moment inoubliable de notre voyage et une expérience que nous garderons longtemps en mémoire ! Une première expérience au Sri Lanka parfaite, nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés !

This place is really worth the price! We stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He arranged everything for us, including a beautiful village tour and a tuk-tuk ride to the viewpoint at Thalkote Wewa. It made our stay even more memorable. The staff were also really kind and helpful. Everyone we met was so warm and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! ❤️

Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Nilu ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und wunderbare Köchin. Das ganze Gelände ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, der Pool ist herrlich und von der Aussichtsplattform hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Lionsrock. Der Familyroom war im nagelneuen Gebäude und top ausgestattet. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Der Eigentümer war fast schon zu sehr bemüht, ein Taxi oder seine Safari zu organisieren. Vergleichen lohnt sich 😉

Erg mooie en verzorgde tuin. Zwembad was erg fijn. Kamer was ruim. Wij hebben genoten van het ontbijt.

Locatie komt niet overeen zoals op Booking vermeld!! Wij waren genoodzaakt om taxi/tuctuc te nemen naar het centrum. Airco bromt en resoneerde door naar de kamer. Last van ongedierte in de badkamer. Waterdruk viel meermaals weg waardoor wij niet konden douchen. Vlekken in het beddengoed. Eigenaar was opdringerig met aftersales.

Everything was excellent. They are the sweetest people and the food is amazing. I couldn’t get a ride to the airport until 5pm so they let me stay by the pool and relax. Nilu is so loving and made me a meal to take on the road to the airport. The property is gorgeous with a well maintained pool, family vibe, and beautiful landscape. You can walk to Sigiriya and all the bars and restaurants very easily. The room was private, clean, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Can’t wait to go back again and will be telling all my friends!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and letting me enjoy your spectacular piece of paradise!

Alles war einfach perfekt – 100/10 Punkte! Nilu, Amila und ihre Tochter waren unfassbar herzlich und haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem und wirklich Denkwürdigem gemacht. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, der Ausblick ist einfach wahnsinnig schön und auch das Frühstück war jeden Morgen richtig lecker. Besonders die Herzlichkeit der Familie werden wir noch lange in Erinnerung behalten. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit! ❤️

Excellent location (15minutes to Lions rock and Pidurangala). Big room, fridge. Biggest plus are the hosts. Owner can arrange anything from safari to Minneriya national park (recommended), to scooter rental. His wife is absolute sweethearth which will make you delicious breakfast aswell as dinner and take care of you like her child.

Chambres spacieuses, famille très sympa, super safari avec le marin pour guide et qui a préconisé l'horaire pour éviter la foule des jeeps en fin d'après-midi. Très bon petits déjeuners et diners. Piscine top.

Bel établissement avec des grandes chambres et une belle piscine, en bonus une terrasse en hauteur pour admirer le Lion rock et les animaux dans la foret autour. Les repas sont copieux et la gérante très gentille.

La liste des équipements de la chambre est fausse. Parfois le gérant est un peu poussif pour vendre des activités et un peu trop dur dans sa façon de s’exprimer.

La ubicacion es preciosa igual que la piscina. La habitacion es grande y muy limpia. Personal super sinpatico y atento. La comida variada y buenissima.

Herzliche familiengeführte Unterkunft, sehr individuell, ruhig gelegen, toller Pool, super Frühstück und Dinner direkt von Amilas Frau zubereitet, auch Extrawünsche werden erfüllt. Amila kümmert sich um jeden Wunsch und hat alles sofort für uns organisiert (Elefantensafari - er ist selbst zertifizierter Fahrer, Elefantenreiten, Ausflug zum Lion Rock, Herbal Garden, sogar einen Friseurbesuch und Einkauf im Spirituosenladen). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Alle Wünsche wurden prompt erfüllt.

Un accueil exceptionnel dans ce petit havre de paix au cœur de la jungle. Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, à commencer par Nilu et Amila, qui ont été d’une aide précieuse dans l’organisation de notre séjour. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres, confortables et agréables, tandis que les repas sont tout simplement délicieux. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Property was great with newly renovated rooms and pool less than a year old. The breakfast each morning was a good size and with a variety of fruits. The owners were very happy to help us and recommend what to do. They called a tuktuk for us when we wanted to visit lion rock and restaurants which was very reasonably priced. Amil (one of the owners) also works as a safari guide and he took us to see elephants in the nearby national park, he was great and made sure to not disturb elephants or be unethical like some guides are in the area. They also cooked a traditional Sri Lankan dinner for us one as well one night of our stay which was one of the best I’ve had!

The WiFi connection in the rooms wasn’t the strongest, but it was not a problem as we could still book taxis and arrange the rest of our trip with weak internet.

Ça n’est pas seulement un hébergement, c’est un accueil et une expérience complète. La famille vous accueille à bras ouverts et vous accompagne dans toutes les démarches pour les activités que vous pourriez apprécier dans le village. Conseils, restauration, safari, tuk-tuk : vous pouvez tout leur demander. Foncez les yeux fermés !

Toller Pool, solide Zimmer und sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Amila und seine Familie haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, mit uns traditionell gekocht, eine Elefanten Safari gemacht und uns einen wunderbar authentischen Einblick in das sri-lankische Leben gegeben. Alle sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung! :)

Good food, short walk to Lion Rock

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The rooms are clean and cozy. The courtyard is very pleasant and beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. they assisted me with any questions I had. The hotel grounds offer a wonderful view of Lion Mountain - the photos turned out great😁 I highly recommend this place.

This place is NOT 600m from downtown. They have put a different adress in, I don’t know if intentional or unintentional - but the place is NOT downtown. The adress for Google navigate is a neighboring hotel, the adress in the listing is a downtown adress. So this is wrong and irritating people. The hosts must clarify this. Apart - they were nice and welcoming- but for my feeling a little too intensive in checking out safari and more possibilities. All in all - correct the adress, 3 km away - and the completely recommendable

Wir haben 4 Nächte in dieser schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Gastgeber waren großartig, wir wurden von der ganzen Familie sehr lieb aufgenommen. Alles ist sehr sauber, der Pool sehr schön und von der neuen, gerade fertig gestellten Dachterasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Lion Rock. Wir haben mit den Gastgebern auch eine sehr schöne Jeep-Safari gemacht und bei der wunderbaren Nilu mit viel Spaß einen Kochkurs besucht. Lion Rock und Pidurangala Rock sind fussläufig erreichbar. Wärmstens weiterzuempfehlen!

Værterne var super søde og betænksomme. Hyggeligt intimt sted med pool væk fra støj. Værelset var også fint.

Prima locatie indien je eigen vervoer hebt en mooi huisje. Zwembad erbij was fijn en schoon.

De eigenaar was vriendelijk en wilde met veel helpen, maar voor ons gevoel probeerde hij veel te verkopen zoals een safari of kookles, etc.

Wij hebben een geweldige stay gehad. De familie is super lief en verwelkomend!! Heerlijk ruime kamer met patio, fijn zwembad & we kregen super lekkere Rice & curry voorgeschoteld. Ze regelen een tuktuk voor je wanneer je maar wilt, zo ook om 5u ‘s ochtends naar de pidurangula rock.

Hou er rekening mee dat er nog gebouwd wordt. Wij hebben ons daar overigens totaal niet aan gestoord!

Het zwembad en de lieve eigenaren en hun dochters. Ze willen alles voor je regelen. Met de man des huizes op olifantensafari geweest. Super leuk!

In de buurt mag pickme blijkbaar niet komen. Concurrentie met de lokale tuktuks. Voor de lokale betaal je minstens het dubbele. Af en toe durfde 1 het aan van pickme. Lopend zit je te ver van de leuke restaurants.

Besitzerehepaar spricht gut Englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Unterstützen einen bei jeglicher Organisation für gute Preise. Besonders Amalia ist sehr nett! Ihr Kochkurs war gut, das Essen sehr lecker. Pool ist nutzbar und sauber. Zimmer groß / geräumig und sehr sauber. Keine Tiere im Zimmer gehabt. Schöner kleiner Aufenthaltsbereich für alle. Lediglich 2 Zimmer vorhanden, sodass man eher alleine dort ist. Vieles zu Fuß in der Nähe erreichbar, ansonsten fahren genügend TukTuks vorbei (für wenig Geld).

Aktuell wird eine weitere Unterkunft hinten gebaut und verursacht ab circa 08:30 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr Baulärm. Dadurch nur Abends entspannte Atmosphäre am Pool und es halten sich dadurch Arbeiter im Bereich um die Unterkunft auf. Sind alle nett aber eben präsent durch die Arbeit. Kochkurs bei Amalia (10.000LRK) könnte etwas günstiger sein, aber trotzdem empfehlenswert!

Der angegebene Standort bei Booking ist falsch. Und es ist hier weit weg vom Zentrum. Man benötigt einen Roller oder Tuktuk

Two individual bungalows located in the back and very private area of the owner property. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner prepared delicious dinner and breakfast for us.

A bit far from the downtown but easy to reach by tuktuk. Bike rental recommended

We arrived at this beautiful and spacious accommodation as strangers and left as friends. The host and his wonderful family went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I mentioned that my husband would be celebrating his bday whilst staying there.The breakfast was a true highlight — delicious, authentic Sri Lankan sweet and savoury dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back!

Das Hotel ist super schön und die Zimmer sehr komfortabel. Bisher das schönste Bad von allen. Die Größe war gut und es sind an allen Steckdosen internationale Stecker verbaut. Nachts ist es ziemlich ruhig. Man kann allerdings die Tiere auf dem Dach gut laufen hören. Wer möchte, kann direkt im Hotel eine Safari buchen, zu einem fairen Preis. Zum Essen gehen, gibt es ein Restaurant gegenüber vom Hotel.

Das Hotel wird von Booking komplett falsch angezeigt! Es befindet sich an einem ganz anderen Punkt. Wir hatten das Hotel aufgrund der Lage gewählt. Unbedingt auf Maps checken, dort wird es richtig angezeigt. Zum Lions rock kann man zu Fuß 20min gehen.

C’était un bon séjour. La chambre est très propre avec la Clim.

Very clean room, maybe the bathroom needs some renovation, the owner lady super nice and friendly, prepares tasty food and made us feel very comfortable. In the nights you can hear the animals outside, elephants, monkeys… :)

The traditionally oriented property was a great experience for entire family. The owner is very helpful! Thy organised a safari for us, which was one of vacations highly. The guid, Amila took time for us where and as we wanted. The children were able to play on property. There are also bicycles for rent to explore Sigiriya! We decided to take the dinner at property and did not regret it! Food is better as in restaurants!

Super welcoming family, the villas are in the middle of the forest, but still close to the main road. They cook a wonderful dinner, very recommended

Our stay was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and varied, offering a wonderful start to each day. The host family was incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make us feel at home. They were always available to help organize tours and activities, making our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. The rooms were spotless, and the location was perfect, with a breathtaking view of Sigiriya Rock right from the property. We absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend it!"

Toilet seat was broken and pillows need updating as there were some stains. Private road to the property was very bumpy.

Beautiful place in the jungle, air conditioned room, mosquito net over the bed. Delicious breakfast in the garden. Once we needed takeaway breakfast and it was great as well.

The same problem in most places in Sri Lanka- bad ventilation. No mosquito nets in the windows.

Slow water supply

Very clean and comfortable, spacious room. It is located in a quiet area, with a nice garden. The owners were very attentive and helpful. They helped us to plan activities during our stay. The breakfast was very tasty. Overall, it is great value for money.

The water in the tap was very weak, depending on the time of the day, but the shower worked fine. This location is out of the well lit area, so I wouldn't recommend walking after sunset (we had a tuk tuk, so it was not an issue).

Single houses with double bed. Very nice atmosphere. Host was helpful.

Dinner was quite expensive with 2.500 LKR per person.
