Warme dekens en dikke gordijnen, die een goede nachtrust garanderen. De eigenaar was ontzettend gastvrij, behulpzaam en betrokken! Enorme aanrader!

Para ir al centro de la ciudad hace falta tuktuk o 2km a pie. No es un gran problema, puedes coger un tuktuk por menos de 300rs.

Le couple est aux petits soins. Ils nous ont aidé à réparer la galerie de notre tuk tuk. Ils nous conseillent beaucoup. Le petit déjeuner a été le plus copieux de nos 3 semaines au Sri Lanka. La chambre familiale a une bonne taille et l espace commun est très appréciable.

La chambre sentait l humidité et elle donne côté rue, un peu bruyant le soir et le matin mais totalement ok durant la nuit.

Chambre avec de bonnes couvertures qui sont bien utiles. Bon petit déjeuner Propriétaire super et très aidant pour accompagner tôt le matin pour prendre les billets et le train pour Kandy

We were in Nuwara Eliya for one night, to get the train to Ella the next day. I hadn't actually managed to reserve tickets on the morning train. The host guided us through the process, got us to the station, and showed us where to stand on the platform in order to get best chances of a seat with best views. It was a big help and much appreciated! For a low-budget stay, the room is excelent. Clean, comfortable, everything is in working order. It is not in the centre of town but it's no trouble to get a tuk tuk there.

The owners are lovely and made my son’s birthday really special - they even decorated, bought him a cake and a gift! The breakfast is also really nice :) it’s close to lovers leap waterfall and in a nice local area with lots of food options.

Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile, che ci ha accompagnato presto al mattino ad acquistare i biglietti del treno per Ella. La camera spaziosa e pulita con coperte sufficienti a scaldarci (dato la temperatura di Nuwara Eliya). La possibilità di prepararsi una buona tazza di the all'occorrenza. La buonissima colazione con cibo locale.

Segnaliamo la posizione non centralissima che permette di vivere in un ambiente più tranquillo, ma richiede la sera un breve spostamento con un tuk tuk o altro mezzo.

La gentilezza dell’host fa la differenza, tutto perfetto ❤️

Wir sind abends mit dem Zug angekommen und wurden am Bahnhof abgeholt. Abends hat uns unser Gastgeber noch zu einem indischen Restaurant gebracht, welches hervorragend war. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Die 3 Zimmer teilen sich einen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küchenzeile. Hier gibt es Getränke, Tee und Kaffee, sowie das sehr gut Frühstück. Wir haben mit ihm eine Tour mit unserem Transfer verbunden, welche an das Wetter angepasst wurde. Unser Gastgeber war überaus freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Das Wetter....es hat geregnet und gestürmt, so würden wir mit unseren Plänen doch eingeschränkt. Das Zimmer war etwas klamm, hat aber nicht weiter gestört. Das war aber aufgrund des Wetters und tagelangen Regen zu erwarten.

Wat zijn wij hier goed verwend. Schone kamer en heerlijke uitgebreide ontbijtjes. Lieve mensen die voor je klaar staan. Het was best koud daar maar al snel opgelost met een kachel die de eigenaar voor ons had gehaald. Prachtige omgeving om mooie wandelingen te maken. Als je wilt brengt de eigenaar je overal naar toe. Echt een aanrader.

Er was niet iets dat ons niet beviel.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cette guest house. Les propriétaires sont vraiment adorables, très accueillants et toujours prêts à rendre service. Le propriétaire vous propose de vous transporter au prix d’un Tuk Tuk. Il nous a accompagné faire une visite d’usine à thé c’était vraiment très sympa.

Malheureusement, notre expérience de la chambre a été beaucoup moins positive. Elle avait une forte odeur d’humidité. Quand à la salle de bain, nous avons trouvé un cafard et le système d’évacuation était un simple trou dans le mur ... De plus, la chambre donnait directement sur une rue très fréquentée. Il y avait beaucoup de bruit jusque tard dans la nuit, puis de nouveau très tôt le matin, ce qui ne nous a pas permis de bien nous reposer. Je laisse cet avis en toute honnêteté, car c’est le type d’information que j’aurais aimé connaître avant de réserver. J’espère que ces remarques pourront être utiles aux futurs voyageurs et permettront à l’établissement de s’améliorer

Nos alojamientos exactamente en la habitación de la imagen,todo perfecto. Familia muy amable y servicial.La habitación está perfectamente equipada para no pasar frío y tiene baño con agua caliente.Su desayuno es riquísimo,el mejor crepe de nuestro viaje.A 5 minutos en tuk-tuk del centro.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The room, breakfast, surrounding neighborhood, staff, and overall facilities are all top notch and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The owner lives next to the property and is readily available to assist whenever needed, which adds a very personal touch to the stay. They also provide laundry services which is very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend this property, especially as it is located close to the main attractions in town.

We stayed here for just one night, but we had a very pleasant experience. The owners were wonderful – very kind, welcoming, and friendly. The accommodation was comfortable, and the breakfast was generous and delicious with plenty of options to choose from. A great place for a relaxing stay, even for a short visit.

The only downside was that our room faced the street, which stayed quite noisy even during the night.

The room is large and the bed super comfy. The thick blanket and extra one was also a blessing and so cosy. The bathroom was good and had really hot water! The WiFi was ok and the communal area is spacious and plenty of room to sit and eat. The balcony is also a nice spot for a beer and you can see sunrise and sunset. Also beer available to buy at a good price!! Chami the host is super friendly and loves a chat! He also provided taxis when needed and also gave us a free ride to the bus station on check out which was amazing! The breakfast was also really good and we especially enjoyed the avocado smoothie and the potato curry!! Location is also good, it isn’t in town but walkable if you like walking, it is close to lovers leap (which you can also see from the balcony) and it is close to the end of the pekoe trail! The restaurant across the road ‘family chef’ is also a must visit, amazing local food at local prices!!

Nuestra estancia fue perfecta. El dueño fue súper amable y nos ayudó en todo momento. La habitación estaba impecable y el desayuno buenísimo. Además, hicimos con ellos una excursión a las cataratas y las plantaciones de té en tuk-tuk con el hermano del dueño, y fue increíble. Todo genial, totalmente recomendable.

Alles hat gepasst, die Gastgeber waren absolut herzlich und familiär und das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker!

Die Unterkunft hat einen gemütlichen Aufenthaltsbereich, von welchem 3 Zimmer abgehen. Gastgeber 'Chami' und Sohn Kavid haben uns sehr freundlich begrüßt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und sehr vielfältig. Chami ist zudem ein toller Guide für Wanderungen, von dem man viel erfahren kann.

We loved the breakfast and the good location just out of town so nice and quiet. A few restaurants within walking distance. The living area was spacious and perfect for the four of us, and having a kitchen to use made our stay even more convenient. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space. The hosts Chami and Thushani were very attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection including fresh fruit, eggs, curries, pancakes, and toast.

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and was very generous. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and provided information on the local tea plantations as requested.

We are fairly independent travellers and found the attention from the hosts "too much" at times, specially during breakfast with a constant presence and forced questions to engage in conversation. This may just be down to our own preference and not a reflection on them. The location said it was in the city centre, however this is a little bit misleading as it is in the centre of a different neighbourhood.

The host is very helpful and the rooms are very spacious. The breakfast spread was super delicious.

オーナーが日本語を話せました。 想像以上の現金社会で両替を途中でしたくなり伝えたらご自身の車で連れてってくれ、近くの有名な郵便局も経由してくれました！ 子連れでしたが、とても気にかけてくれ朝食も子供の分も出して頂き食べれないぐらい沢山出てきました！ 聞きたい事には何でも答えてくれ、紅茶鉄道に乗る為Ambewelaまでのトゥクトゥクを3000ルピーで準備してくれました。(アプリで確認したら2500前後だったので確実に手配して欲しかった為お願いしました)

ベッドが寝返りの度にきしむ。シャワーの水圧が弱く女性が頭などを洗うのは時間が少しかかります。

Specious double room with two large double beds. Clean bathroom. Immaculate sitting, dining rooms and kitchenette shared between the three guest suites. Chaminda was a warm and kind host, offering to show us places, help us organise transport and give us directions. The breakfasts prepared by his wife were a lovely mix of traditional curries and common Western breakfast foods.

家族4人でお世話になりました。オーナーの日本語の上手なチャミさんは、温かいセイロンティで私たちを出迎えてくださりました。その後、近くの茶畑と滝を案内してくださいました。ゲストハウス近くの夕日に照らされ一面に広がった茶畑の美しい景色は、忘れられません。またお部屋も掃除が行き届いており快適に過ごせました。朝ごはんは、チャミさんの奥さんの手作りカレーやパンをいただきました。とっても美味しく大満足の宿泊になりました。また今度はゆっくりヌワラエリアに行きたくなりました、その時はまたShevyhawsに泊まりたいです。

オーナーさん、奥さんが本当に優しくて素敵な宿でした！ オーナーさんは日本語が話せて、色々教えてくださいました。紅茶工場にも連れて行ってくださいました。 また、私たちはティッサマハーラーマに行きたかったのですが、そのバスも教えてくれました。バスまで連れて行ってくれてどこで降りるかも丁寧に教えてくださり、本当にありがたかったです。 また奥さんが作る朝食がとても美味しかったです！ ヌワラエリヤに行く方にはとてもおすすめの宿です！

Gute Lage, fussläufig zum Wasserfall und in direkter Umgebung gibt es einige kleine Lokale Restaurants. Unser Host machte den Aufenthalt aber perfekt. Kümmerte sich sehr um uns, machte mit uns einen Ausflug in die Teeplantagen und war jederzeit für Fragen zu erreichen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Small family style guesthouse, comfortable accommodation. Best of all was the hosts welcoming, helpful attentiveness to everything - help with travel information, personalised tour in comfortable car and pickups or drop-offs into city at no cost. I only had to mention a need and help was provided. Appreciated the tea, coffee making facilities., access to small lounge. Spacious bedroom. Great value for money. breakfasts tasty and plentiful.

Only a small matter- I found the door to my room a little awkward to lock but help was always close by and very politely given

Deze homestay heeft drie kamers, die grenzen aan de gezamenlijk woonkamer met open keuken. Er is een zithoek en er zijn twee tafels met stoelen. Je kunt zelf thee en koffie zetten, wat heel fijn is. De eigenaar woont in een andere woning op hetzelfde terrein en is erg aardig en behulpzaam. De homestay ligt op de eerste etage en beneden staat een buitentafel met parasol waar je kunt zitten. Al met al een fijne plek om te zijn.

Chaminda is a brilliant host who picked us up from the bus station, arranged a visit to a tea plantation (an absolute must!), fed us wonderful breakfasts, told us the local places to go by foot, recommended restaurants to eat in and then took us to the station (and told us about queuing for both the tickets and the train- really key). I cannot recommend the place enough

Accommodatie voldeed precies aan onze verwachtingen: mooie ruime kamer met in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte een keuken met gratis thee en koffie, een grote eettafel en een gezellig zitje. We kregen verse koffie en thee bij aankomst en uitleg over de bezienswaardigheden. Host was erg zorgzaam en was zelfs zo aardig om ons met de auto naar een goed restaurant in de stad te brengen!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with an excellent and reliable supply of hot water. The common sitting area was pleasant, and the shared kitchen was great for making tea or coffee. Breakfast was plentiful and varied each morning. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and Chaminda was especially helpful in providing useful information about the area. I would happily stay here again.

A bit far from the city center but tuktuks were always available for booking through PickMe or Uber

It was superb! I was greeted with a lime juice and friendliness. The shared balcony is wonderful. The monkeys antics are fabulous to watch from the verandah. Easy walk to the caves. Best Brekky so far!!! Wonderful experience

Super lieber Gastgeber. Er hat uns vieles empfehlen können und hatte sogar Regensachen für uns. Ebenso hat er uns Kontakte zu anderen Unterkünften vermittelt, sowas wird direkt mit dem Gastgeber Kontakt aufnehmen konnte, um ein Safari und Mega geile Unterkunft zu super Preisen bekamen. Ebenso hat er uns einen Fahrer für Horten Plains besorgt. Schöne Gemeinschaftsküche/Raum, um mit anderen in Kontakt zu kommen und freier Kaffe/Tee. Sehr gut gelegen für alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Er hat uns auch noch bei unserem TuKTuK Check geholfen!

Хорошие чистые апартаменты с внимательным и гостеприимными хозяеном, вкусным завтраком. Всем советую к посещению.

Ich kann die Unterkunft nur jedem herzlichst empfehlen. Unser Aufenthalt hier war top und ein wirklich toller Gastgeber. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar und es wurde alles organisiert für uns. Von Ausflügen oder schnell in die Stadt bringen, Tipps was man in der Umgebung machen kann und und und.. vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Es war etwas feucht im Zimmer, die Fenster laufen komplett an über Nacht wodurch auch die Handtücher nicht wirklich trocknen können. Wir haben aber glaub einfach nur 2-3 kalte Tage erwischt und nichts für das jemand was dafür tun kann. Rundhum hat alles super gepasst!

Man wird von einer sehr freundlichen Familie empfangen die einem mit so viel Herzlichkeit aufnehmen. Die Zimmer waren bestens und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war erstklassige und ebenfalls mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Such a lovely lovely homestay - one of our favourite stays in our whole trip! Chaminda was so kind and helpful, drove us around the town and took us to a tea factory to sample and buy some tea! Also helped us sort out onward travel, and asked the driver to stop at a few places on route too. The room was so comfy and big, hot water too!! All in all a great stay, would definitely recommend to anyone coming through Nuwara Eliya

The place is a bit of a walk from the main town, but Chaminda was really helpful and took us to where we needed to go

Good location for some nearby hikes. The host was very nice and accommodating, he even picked us up from the bus station. The rooms are nice (the warm blanket is definitely needed as it gets quite cold in Nuwara Eliya) and clean, water and beer are also available. You will also get some tips for where to visit and eat, so you can visit the best spots in the area!

El sitio está muy bien. No es céntrico pero es acogedor, Chari te ayuda en todo lo que necesites. El desayuno muy bueno.

We had an amazing stay at Shevyhaws thanks to our wonderful guide and host Chami. He and his family were incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The food was delicious and fresh, and the visits Chami organized to the tea factories and waterfalls were one of the absolute highlights of our trip ;)

If we had to mention something, it would be that the bathroom was a bit cold and in the morning quite a lot of light came into the room, but apart from that everything was absolutely perfect.

Der Besitzer holt einen vom Zug ab und bringt einem auch wieder dort hin. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit mit ihm direkt Touren zu machen, das war sehr praktisch. Ein wirklich sehr netter und zuvorkommender Besitzer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker sogar mit Avocado.

Die Ausflüge mit ihm waren nicht ganz billig.

De host is opmerkelijk behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Hij heeft ons geadviseerd over restaurants, geholpen met een probleem met onze tuktuk en heeft als gids gefungeerd gedurende een tour naar een theeplantage. Echt geweldig! Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de kamer en badkamer schoon.
