Nice short stay, clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast, it was plentiful and the owner was around to assist and had a chance to meet all his guests. We had a shared washroom, and it was kept clean. Great outdoor Tavern on the corner with great food and drinks.

It was perfect! People who realy know about quality of stay... the beds were grate.. we made BBQ.. it was clean.. brakefast was excellent . .stuff were very kind.. all was super comfortable.

Ac was not as strong as I expected .

La camera, al primo piano è grande, il bagno un pochino piccolo. Le pareti tra le camere non sono insonorizzate e si può essere disturbati dai vicini. La colazione è molto semplice e viene servita in una cucina comune al piano terra, con alcuni tavoli in giardino. A pochi passi a piedi è possibile raggiungere la spiaggia, mentre per andare in centro città occorre l'automobile.

We missen een groente bij het ontbijt. De gekookte eieren waren niet vers. Suite 1 blok 3 ligt vlak naast de keuken waardoor het smorgens vroeg lawaaierig was.

Greatest location on the island. Close to the surf beach and walkable into town. The house is modern and the staff is friendly and effective. Breakfast is plentiful and a very good start into the day. Communal breakfast room gives the chance to meet other guests. The owner is very personable and greets everyone of his guests.

The communal bathroom for two oft the bedrooms is a bit dark and the fixtures could use an upgrade. Nothing serious but worth a mention.

The location in Santa Barbara is nice.

Overpriced. The pictures are misleading. We booked the seaview suite, which is basically located in a hostel dorm. The ocean view is quite far away. But yes, you can see the sea. The building/room is outdated. They redid the wall behind the bed to something modern and nice, with wood, and took their booking pictures facing this way. The bathroom is small. The bed is highly uncomfortable. The breakfast is a joke. There was cold coffee, cornflakes, some bread, juice, jam and biscuits. The communication was bad, nearly non-existing. We arrived and had not receive any information on how to get in the building and room.

Rezervirali smo sobu s pogledom na more, nismo ju dobili (nisam se žalila jer smo došli zaista kasno i nije nam to bilo presudno). Naslon kreveta ima neugodan miris, tuš ima slabi pritisak vode.

O ambiente familiar deste alojamento foi o que mais se destacou. O quarto era espaçoso e muito agradável e confortável. O Sr. Toni e o Sr. João receberam-nos com uma simpatia e humildade que nos faz querer voltar em breve. Obrigada por nos fazerem sentir em casa.

Nous avions un chambre avec toilettes communes. Nous avons moins aimé.

Alles bestens! Mit Auto sehr gut zu erreichen (ist etwas außerhalb, aber das wussten wir ja) und es hat immer freie Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird vorbereitet. Wir durften die großzügige Küche auch gebrauchen, um abends einmal zu kochen.

Ei aamiaista. Sijainti hieman syrjässä palveluista, no ehkä siksi rauhallinen alue. Patja oli muistaakseni yksi parhaista Azoreilla ja Portugalissa tähän asti.

Turhan tiukat säännöt uloskirjautumisen kanssa, paikka oli tyhjä, eikä näyttänyt olevan kauhean suosittu, mutta yhtään ei joustettu, jotta olisin voinut lähteä sieltä sopivasti lennolle, iso miinus. Merinäköala, no joo semmoinen 10cm siivu näkyi kun sijouittui oikein, että en tiedä onko oikein markkinoida merinäköalla? Hieman kaukana palveluista, eikä sinne saanut edes taksia tai Uberiä. The location is great, really close to the main beach. The room and house are really clean and the breakfast is well stocked. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend.

We were in Suite 1 and it was not clear on the Booking ad that the patio would be the main house patio not a private one. If we had knew that we would have probably chose one of the upstairs bedroom. More privacy.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Areal de Santa Barbara from June 25th to July 1st with our young daughter. Saying goodbye was incredibly hard, and we were truly sad when it was time to leave. Everything was simply perfect: Warm Welcome & Service: We received an incredibly warm welcome and were even allowed to check into our room early. The hosts and their family are fantastic—so kind, accommodating, and attentive. You can really feel that they run this place straight from the heart! Room & Location: Our room was spotless, equipped with great air conditioning, and had a lovely balcony. The hotel is very peaceful and located in a quiet residential area right by the sea and beach. A huge plus: free parking is available right outside the front door. Shared Spaces: We especially loved the large, cozy shared living room and the spacious communal kitchen, which can be used by all guests. Breakfast: Every morning, we enjoyed a beautiful, lovingly prepared breakfast buffet that was the perfect start to the day. It was a truly wonderful time for us. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone! Thank you for everything!

Rustige straat, mooie kamer met balkon genoeg ruimte. Fijne airco, ontbijt inclusief en er is een tuintje. De uitbaters zijn enorm lief en gastvrij!! We voelden ons enorm welkom

De badkamer is verweg aan de voordeur, je hoort alles van de living, keuken, buiten (gepraat,…) geeft het gevoel dat je niet alleen in de badkamer bent. Ook gedeelde badkamer en verouderd interieur.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal. Die Lage ist super um die Insel zu erkunden. Es war sauber, das Frühstück war gut und das Zimmer war geräumig. Der Strand ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Perfect mix between hotel and apartment. You can store your own food in the fridge with your name tag, also you can use the kitchen throughout the day as you please. Staff was so so nice, everything was so clean and tidy. Breakfast was great We loved it. Definitely recommend!

Excelente localização numa rua tranquila perto da praia, quartos limpos e confortáveis, pequeno-almoço abundante. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos!

Die Lage ist super, mittig der Insel ist man schnell überall. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und die Betten sind gemütlich. Alles sauber und das Personal und der Chef sehr nett. Check-in in der Nacht auch kein Problem, Schlüssel wir in einer Schlüsselbox zur Verfügung gestellt. Schöner Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer.

Byli jsme velice spokojení - velký prostorný a čistý pokoj, každodenní úklid (ručníky, stlaní postele, koš), čistá koupelna. Personál byl příjemný, vstřícný. V dostupnosti byla fajn místní hospůdka/bistro, obchod. Hned za domem jsou krásný útesy, ideální na pozorování západu/východu slunce:). Bezproblémové parkování v ulici.

Stereotypnost snídaní - menší obměna by přišla vhod.

Kleines Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Alles sehr sauber. Klima hat Raum gut geheizt. Frühstück war ausreichend für den Start in den Tag! Bar um die Ecke. Nicht weit zum Strandrestaurant. Supermarkt im Ort.

Nice that breakfast was included, simple but nice not having to worry about finding somewhere. Close walk to Santa Barbara Beach and some restaurants. Nice and clean and spacious. Access to outside patio and indoor seating.

Farther from centre of town if wanting to be closer to centre. But no issue if you have a car.

Very nice guesthouse - room with balcony was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location, just 200 m from the beach with fantastic sunset view and 10-15 min. walking distance to the center of the town. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty with helpful staff on site. Check-in and check-out was seamless. Highly recommend :)!

Staff, although super nice, during cleaning hours was a bit too loud (radio music on blast and loud conversations), especially if you want to sleep-in a bit or chill.

Excellent facilities. Breakfast was an added bonus. I am gluten free and the host left a gluten free bread for me which was incredibly kind. Parking is just outside on the road. Strongly recommend staying here as well worth the money. A perfect place to explore Ribeira Grande.

Ładny pokój, zgodnie ze zdjęciami, ogólnodostępna, duża i dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, dość rozbudowane śniadania (zarówno na słono jak i na słodko), wystarczjąco miejsca do parkowania. Blisko na jedną z lepszych plaż na wyspie, do sklepu.

W pokoju było niestety czuć wilgocią, chyba gdzieś musiał pojawić się grzyb. Czasami także pojawiał się nieprzyjemny zapach z odpływu.

* Etwas dunkel eingerichtet. Hier könnte man etwas mehr Beleuchtung anbringen.

Super Lage nah am Meer und perfekt um die Insel zu erkunden. Einfacher Self-Check-In. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt an der Straße. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig und hatte eine schöne Terrasse. Das Frühstück bietet eine kleine, aber leckere Auswahl in einem sonnigen Frühstücksbereich. Preis-Leistung ist top.

Das Badezimmer war etwas eng und die Beleuchtung leider nicht optimal.

Propriétaire très sympathique. Pas loin de la plage. Très bon petit déjeuner. Un minet très gentil dans la cour intérieure, pour ceux qui s'ennuient de leurs amis à 4 pattes lorsqu'ils voyagent.

Das Zimmer war sauber und von der Größe ausreichend mit einem kleinen Balkon. Das Bett war groß und bequem, nur die Kissen waren für mich zu hoch und zu fest. Das Frühstück war absoluter Standard, mehr auch nicht . Es reicht um satt zu werden. Für den Zimmerpreis müsste man schon besser abliefern. Der Kaffee war aber Top. Ein Parkplatz vor der Tür zu bekommen ist teilweise auch etwas schwierig, wenn man etwas zu spät dran ist.

No recibí instrucciones para acceder y cuando llegué no había nadie y estaba cerrado. Tuve que esperar a que una huésped entrase. Al rato llegó un chico del personal para hacer el check in. El hostal en general está muy sucio y descuidado. No me atreví a utilizar las duchas. En cuanto a equipamiento, no hay de nada. La litera superior no tiene cortina individual. La propia habitación tiene un ventanal sin cortina y en la calle justo hay una farola, por lo que tienes que dormir con luz. El ruido era insoportable y tampoco tenían tapones para los oídos. La puerta de la habitación no se podía cerrar porque estaba rota. Si la cerrabas, no podías volver a abrir y tenías que ir a recepción a que te la abriesen. En cuanto al desayuno, prefiero desayunar en el supermercado. Por no decir que tú mismo te tienes que lavar los cubiertos.
