Troppa troppa umidità. Lo Studio sarebbe stato anche piacevole e spazioso ma veramente troppo umido, tanto da esalare anche cattivo odore.

Breakfast was great and quick and easy access to the beach. All of the staff were amazingly accomodating and helpful. The phone with navigation and easy suggestions was great for exploring the island and quick communication with the hotel.

The pool off our room was not private and meant that we had to watch out and close our door so children swimming in rooms down the way and an old man doing laps didn't see us. It makes the private loungechairs unuseable with other guests swimming by. The resort was popular for families but that meant it was hard to have a sense of romance or privacy. For the cost and attention to detail with the staff and ethos of the resort, the clientele and behavior was unexpected. For the seclusion of the resort, it felt like there should be better ways to enjoy the property without everyone seeing you at all times.

Everything. The place is perfect. It's absolutely a dreamy hotel. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The beds was very comfortable and then breakfast was amazing.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a 3 nights stay at their adult only sister property, the white. We really enjoyed our time here. It was a different vibe than the white, which was a 8-room adult only property. It was fun to come to Santa Barbara after which was a little more lively, and had the beach bar attached which was fun to go for lunch and/or an after dinner drink. Our room was one of the swim up pool rooms, we didn't use the pool as the water was pretty cold, but was nice to sit out there and read/relax. We didn't eat dinner here but the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Fresh juice, breads butter and jam, and able to order eggs etc off the main menu. Our only complaint was the pool temp. The white hotels pool was heated which was really nice as some days were chilly, even in July. The pools at Santa Barbara were too cold To really enjoy. Aside from that we loved our stay and definitely would recommend booking her for either a couples stay or a family vacation, we have two kids 11 & 14 and think it would be a really fun place to come back to with them one day! We also enjoyed splitting the time between the two hotels, and having both a quiet, small adult only experience at the white- and then a more beach-vibe experience at Santa Barbara.

Beautiful resort. We stayed in a two bedroom corner villa which was spacious and had a great view. Very clean and quiet resort. The location is great, right next to Ribiera Grande and the best beach - Santa Barabara! The restaurant has quality food and breakfast was delicious. The pool was small but very nice. A little cold though. The resort was never crowded and plenty of available resort parking for rental car. Service was great, they came out right away and fixed an issue with our hot tub. The only downsides were that the fitness center is by appointment only, I wish it was a large gym open all day; and the resort is right next to the public parking for the beach. That parking lot is very crowded and makes it difficult to access the resort when cars are parked everywhere on the road. Overall though a great stay! A little pricey but worth it. Would recommend.

Cet hôtel est plus adapté pour les familles, pas pour les couples qui cherchent le calme et la relaxation, en tout cas pas pendant les vacances scolaires. Les tips au restaurant sont forcés (10% déjà dans la quittance que l'on peut annuler si on le souhaite, mais forcément on ose pas le faire). On se sent comme un distributeur l'argent ce n'est pas agréable. TOUT est payant même les dosettes de café et les sachets de thé dans la chambre ... vu le prix de la nuit c'est un peu décevant. Le personnel est sympatique mais s'interpelle bruyamment à travers le restaurant, dès le petit déjeuner, ce qui crée une ambiance "camping" qui dénote un peu avec le marketing "hôtel de luxe" qu'ils mettent en avant. Bon séjour malgré tout, mais il faut aimer le bruit.

To be fair, it’s not all negative. As I wrote below: beautiful location, wonderful, very pleasant to relax there. A lovely, well-kept lawn. And importantly, the evening shift in the restaurant and the head chef were fantastic. Dinner was delicious, everything was perfect. In summary—the price is too high for what it offers. We’re glad we weren’t able to extend our stay by one night; in the end, we were very happy we stayed there for such a short time.

Its location is excellent and the architectural concept itself is also very good. However, when going to a hotel that positions itself as “exclusive,” you pay attention to certain things. The first thing that struck us—and we encountered this for the first time—was an almost pushy insistence on tips. This doesn’t fit a hotel of this class. Everywhere, we immediately received the bill with a tip already included and information that if we didn’t want to pay it, we could refuse; they would then print a new bill without the tip. We were even told we could leave a tip for housekeeping, and specifically that we could leave a tip for the receptionist. Honestly, we assume that when staying at such a hotel, no one should have to teach us about tipping. No one has ever had to ask us for tips, we leave them willingly, so the owner is really doing himself a disservice by putting tips everywhere. Additionally, the service was not at the highest level—again, you expect more from a hotel like this. That’s one issue. Second, the hotel already needs a bit of refreshing. You can see it on the facades, which in some places are simply peeling and coming off. And the third thing that doesn’t suit a hotel of this standard is breakfast. We received scrambled eggs with different ingredients than we requested, and my Benedict's eggs were half raw on a burnt pancake. We believe the chef saw what he was serving. This really isn’t acceptable for such a hotel. I also had a relaxing massage booked there, in a beautiful setting—a hut over the ocean—and unfortunately it was probably the weakest massage I’ve ever had. I think anyone could have performed a massage like that

I wasn't keen on the menu for dinner and lunch. I don't eat meat or fish and the choices weren't great and I didn't enjoy the cream sauce on the pasta Breakfast was lovely though bar that everything was great .

The vibe, the atmosphere and the wellness options. I loved the size of the property and the views too

My wife and I just spent 3 nights here at the beginning of our Portugal trip and two things were apparent: first, we should have stayed twice as long, and second, we should have done it at the end of our trip as a peaceful chill-out. Those two things aside - AMAZING. Perfectly positioned in the middle of the north shore of the island, you can get to any sights quickly by car - hikes, beaches, whatever - and you need to be able to because the weather on Sao Miguel is very micro-climated and quick to change. The hotel and grounds are modern and spectacularly kept, positioned above a beautiful black sand beach. The restaurant had creative, delicious cuisine, and they were accommodating to every request, with incredible hand-crafted cocktails. Most important of all - the staff. Friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in making sure you saw the right sights, at the right time, and every suggestion they made to us was spot-on successful. If you are lucky enough to get to work with the concierge Bianca, you'll see Azorean hospitality at its finest, but the whole staff was wonderful. This is a great spot for a nature-based chill-out time, and if you have modern/contemporary tastes in food and architecture, then you have your winner here. Plan a stay here with confidence. We would go back anytime!

Die Lage am Strand ist sehr cool. Die Zimmer sind auch passend zum Eco-Thema eingerichtet. Das Restaurant hat eine interessante Weinliste gehabt und die Cocktails an der Bar waren gut und kreativ.

The whole hotel truly is absolutely breathtaking. Staff are helpful and friendly. The jacuzzi/gym area is also beautiful and it’s nice that you have it to yourself if you reserve it. Food is delicious (especially breakfast) and the proximity to the beach makes everything better.

Honestly there is nothing to criticize, only that it is pricey, but that’s something you know in advance anyways.

It’s pricey and worth every penny. The hotel is gorgeous and gives you that magical feel that you want being in the Azores. It’s overlooking the ocean and a short walk down to the beach. It’s well situated to explore the island, provides easy beach access, has a nice pool, a wonderful restaurant on site and a casual beach bar as well. Breakfast was included for us and it’s delicious. The resort is perfect and you almost don’t want to leave to go explore! And then the staff - the staff are truly amazing. Before we even arrived at the resort the staff had been extremely helpful. I emailed for restaurant suggestions a few weeks before our arrival and they made suggestions and made all my reservations within a few hours. Upon arrival the wonderful care and service continued. The staff will literally take care of everything for you. You get a phone upon arrival that allows you to text them. Every day they send you a suggested drive to explore the island and it’s better then a private guide - we had a private guide for two days and I promise the resorts suggestions were more fun and sent us to more unique places. Last minute we decided we wanted a car - I texted them via their phone in the evening and a car was waiting for me the next morning - at a cheaper price then I was finding online and requiring me to pick up/drop off. This is truly an incredible place to stay for both couples and families. The Azores are a special and magical place and this resort is the perfect home base.

Absolutely stunning, exceptional service, efficient and kind concierge, quiet, peaceful, zen-like experience. Incredible stay…enjoyed every moment including relaxing on our patio, taking a dip in our semi-private pool (which felt 100 percent private!) while taking in the unbelievable views, breakfast every morning, sipping on local wine or a cocktail on the main patio also with incredible views, sitting by their beautiful, tranquil pool…Santa Barbara has it all…including a magnificent black sand beach steps away. We are so glad we chose this hidden gem.

The indoor pool area was nice but it is a bit small and the floor area can become very slippery when wet.

The rooms are a bit austere and look out over the next town. You need to drive a distance to get to any interesting hikes.

This property was stunning and was so much more than we expected ! Our adult kids had the two bedroom villa amazing hot tub small kitchen huge rooms great deck and hubby and I had the one bedroom perfect hot tub great deck views are crazy beautiful…….breakfast was amazing they even packed up leftovers that we took on our hiking adventures daily and filled my water bottle with coffee! We had dinner three nights because it was so good!the beach bar is amazing and so cheap it’s on the property but owned by someone else …views from beach bar amazing…..you can walk the beach into riberia grande which is great town…and Tuka Tula great restaurant….i cant say enough about this property and the staff….i can’t wait to return! They had a rental car delivered to the hotel for us ….we had a private guide amazing ! The views are stunning 🥰

Het binnenzwembad is verwarmd. - De kamer die we hadden beschikte over een goed uitgeruste kitchenette.

Excelente alojamento para quem vive na ilha e procura, na época baixa, uma experiência diferente e de qualidade. O quarto com jacuzzi privado é um grande ponto forte, assim como o pequeno-almoço, que é muito bom. O local é calmo, relaxado e perfeito para desligar da correria do dia a dia.

Nada a apontar, porque o alojamento é mesmo excelente.

The location is truly amazing ! The room was also really nice and felt like this resort is respecting the environment.

The service at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast wasn’t really good: waited a really long time to get a table at the breakfast. I’ve informed the reception that I was allergic to cinnamon and for breakfast I got jam with cinnamon. Thankfully I’ve noticed it, and ask for replacement. Then again I had to wait 15’ until I could ask again. The waitress told me that they hadn’t any other jam… In the evening, we had the wait a long time to get served. For check-out, I had to wait 20’ until someone came to the reception. I’ve called and asked the personal at the bar, and he called around. I had to catch a plain, so almost left without being able to checkout.

El complejo es espectacular: la localización, los espacios comunes, el restaurante… El desayuno no es muy amplio, pero es de buena calidad.

La piscina privada no era climatizada, es cierto que tienen una zona común tipo spa, pero no está acorde al resto de las instalaciones. Y por destacar un detalle que llama la atención a día de hoy: la televisión no es Smart TV.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast as well as the lunch and dinner options were great and we loved being right at the beach. We also enjoyed using the fitness and wellness area and liked that there was a kitchenette in the apartment.

Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable – the mattress was very hard and just laid on a slap of stone and constantly shifted out of place. There were also some other things (e.g., the front door of the apartment had a huge gap) where the quality of things did not match our expectations based on the price of the accommodation and compared to other places we stayed at during our 3 weeks on the Açores.

The location is blissful and the staff utterly charming. Breakfast is outstanding but the food at supper was far too heavily seasoned (primarily salt)

Complementary breakfast was delicious, the entire property is so gorgeous and all of the rooms have excellent views, the staff was so accommodating and very friendly!

You had to make a reservation to use the fitness center. I would have preferred to be able to go whenever I felt like it without planning ahead but that is really my only complaint.

We booked for one night as we were visiting around the island. We ended up staying for two nights as we loved the view, the service, the huge king bed, the artisanal decor of the hotel, the easy parking and the location which was so close to most everything we wanted to do and see at the end of our trip. It was sunny everyday we were there and being able to relax on the sun deck and hot tub while looking out to the sea was a highlight of our trip. I will definitely be back!

We stayed in this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff truly deserve five stars — everyone was incredibly friendly, considerate, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and that warmth really shows in their service. A special mention to Jessica, who was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. She made us feel right at home with her positive energy and professionalism.

O quarto era ótimo com uma vista incrível e a piscina logo à porta do quarto era fantástica! A simpatia geral era contagiante, e a comida. É impossível descrever a qualidade de todas as todas as refeições que fizemos, começando no pequeno-almoço e em todos os jantares que usufruímos.

The breakfast was world class and the dinner with local Azores ingredients delicious. We explored the island and followed your advice for eco places to visit. We had just the most wonderful time. Thank you to the entire team, especially Bianca who went out of her way to help us.

Die Bungalows sind eher einfach eingerichtet. Der Meerblick erstreckt sich über einen nicht wahrnehmbaren Streifen links und vorne auf den Grundstückzaun und die entsprechenden Straßen angrenzend, ist deswegen, anders als bei den anderen Villen, vorne nicht begehbar. Die Bepflanzung ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück wird portioniert und am Tisch serviert. Die Extraspeisen aus der Karte sind ausgezeichnet.

Adoramos TUDO! Passamos uma semana fantástica neste resort. O jaccuzzi na varanda da villa com vista para o mar é simplesmente incrível e com uma temperatura excelente para se disfrutar de dia ou de noite. A cama é muito confortável e a villa tem tudo para uma estadia excelente. Pedimos room service várias vezes e as entregas foram sempre muito rápidas e a comida excelente!! Os pratos que mais gostamos foram o tártaro de novilho (divinal!), a massada de peixe e camarão e o bife de couve flor. O pudim de queijada com gelado é muitissimo bom e o pequeno almoço à la carte também. Também experimentamos os drinks no bar e foram sem dúvida alguma os melhores que já bebemos!! O mojito é excelente e o Spicy & Gold é soberbo!! A área exterior do resort é espetacular com vista sobre a praia. Para terminar e não menos importante, todos os funcionários foram de uma simpatia e atenção extrema, sempre muito prestáveis e a fazer de tudo para tornar a nossa estadia inesquecível. Iremos voltar sem dúvida alguma!

Como sugestão de melhoria, poderia existir uma maior diversidade de opções totalmente veganas; ainda assim, as alternativas disponíveis revelaram-se de excecional qualidade. Trata-se de um pormenor menor numa experiência globalmente irrepreensível.

Very relaxing…. Great place to relax and unwind. Very quiet and serene. The staff were superb…. Courteous and very friendly. We enjoyed an old fashioned made with butter. Best old fashioned that we have tried. We had a fantastic experience!

Probably could use a couple of relaxing chairs in the living room beside the couch

لا يوجد بس موقع المكان يحتاج سيارة لانه بعيد عن المدينة بس فيه قرية قريبة فيها سوبر ماركت ومطاعم
