Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Der Besitzer spricht herausragendes English und ist immer für einen kurzen Plausch zu haben. Abends legt er auch gerne einmal etwas aus seiner großen Schallplattensammlung auf. Die Lage des Hostels ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026L’emplacement était idéal, en plein centre ville. Nôtre hôte a été particulièrement adorable, nous a donné des conseils et montré sa collection de vinyle ! Il y a un petit parking gratuit. C’était parfait et propre, bonne communication et nous avons pu arriver un peu tard. Nous avons pu laisser la voiture garée même après le check-out pour visiter.
Les chambre ne pas grandes mais c’est conforme à la description

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026松島の海岸と観光地からほど近く、オーナーさんおすすめの朝ごはんやグルメスポットなど教えてもらえて、それらに気軽に出向くことができ、地元民になったような気持ちでゆったりと滞在できた。 またオーナーさんの人柄によるものと思うのですが、滞在されているお客さんの雰囲気も良く、安心して過ごすことができた。ロケーションと宿の雰囲気がとても良い。
特にないのですが、しいて言えばお風呂場の湯船が使用できるとなおよかった。また部屋に鏡があるとうれしい。

The place is a small, beautiful gem, perfectly located right in the middle of everything Matsushima has to offer. It was incredibly clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a great stay. But what truly made our experience special was our host. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. He gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, perfectly matching what we were looking for, as well as great tips for sightseeing and exploring the area. One evening, we spent some time together with our host and the other guests, sharing stories and helping each other plan the next steps of our trips. It was such a lovely and spontaneous evening, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. We’re so grateful for the hospitality, the wonderful recommendations, and all the little things that made our stay so special. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back anytime! Thank you so much for everything! ❤️

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Die Unterkunft lebt vom Gastgeber. Er gibt sich sehr viel Mühe, dass sich seine Gäste wohl fühlen. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch und man kann sich mit ihm sehr gut und offen unterhalten. Er gibt auch viele Tipps, um das Beste aus dem Aufenthalt rauszuholen. Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026It is so close to everything. We easily walked here from the train station and it is just across the street from the Matsushima Bay tour boats. Plus it is close to yummy restaurants. It is quiet and peaceful and there is a small kitchen room to take tea or coffee, have a snack and chat with other guests. The beds are comfortable and the owner is so kind.

The building was clean and welcoming, and had everything I needed. The host was very helpful, spoke good English, and was happy to chat. We had a few fascinating conversations duing my 2-night stay. I wish I booked for a little longer.

The accommodation is very modern and very clean, theres free parking also which is very handy, H gave us a little night cap when we got back from dinner the sake what he treated us to was lovely. Theres a fantastic bakery around the corner that does great pasties which was ideal for breakfast,a extra pillows in the room would have been good as they were very small, we would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed May 6, 2026Die Lage ist sehr gut, es ist ruhig gelegen. Der Hausherr hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man von dort zu Fuß erreichen.
Ein Sitzkissen im Zimmer wäre gut, da man an dem niedrigen Tischen sonst schlecht auf dem Boden sitzen kann.

Tous les équipements sont en très bon état, l’emplacement est idéal et tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente comme à la maison. Nous espérons revenir à Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse !

Està a 2 passes del passeig marítim de Matsushima, té una molt bona fleca artesanal a prop i ens van fer sentir com a casa. L'ambient amb viatgers interessants i cuidat, elegant. Reviewed Mar 5, 2026역에서도 가깝고 근처에서 볼만한 관광지도 숙소 근처에 있어서 접근성도 좋아요. 그리고 방도 너무 깨끗합니다 컴팩트하게 혼자 묵는다면 추천하곡 싶은 숙소입니다! 그리고 가장 좋았던 건 숙소 오너님이 너무 따뜻하고 친절해서 동북지방 자체에 더욱 호감을 가지게 된 계가기 된 숙박이었어요. 만약 일본어를 못하더라고 오너분이 영어를 유창하게 하시기 때문에 영어를 하신다면 굉장히 친절하게 설명해주실 겁니다! 만약 언어가 안 되더라도 친절하게 안내해주실 것이라고 의심치 않을 정도로 친절하셨습니다! 추천!
주변에 늦게까지하는 가게가 많이 없어서 만약 조용하게 하루 묵거나 머무는게 좋으신분들한테는 추천할 수 있는데 그렇지 않은 분들한테는 조금 아쉬울 수 있어요,

La guest house est très fonctionnelle et c'est tout ce qu'on attend de ce type d'hébergement. L'hôte vous accueille avec le sourire et saura répondre à toutes vos questions. Il saura même vous faire apprécier ses goûts musicaux avec quelques platines de vinyles.

He explained everything about the guest house and its rules so even though the house was full, everything was smooth. Reviewed Sep 3, 2025とても清潔で気持ちよく泊まれました。個室なのもよかったです。観光地の真ん中にあるため、瑞巌寺、円通院、遊覧船乗り場といった観光には外せないところに徒歩で行けます。矢本の航空祭の前乗りのため、おまけのつもりでたまたま泊まりましたが、とても良い旅になりました。また他のホテルの日帰り入浴割引券をいただき、お得でした。
特になし。あえて言えば、部屋の電気に豆球がなく、寝るとき真っ暗になるくらいですが、普通に寝られました。

因屋主較堅持不每天更換住客的衛浴大毛巾，所以感覺對長住型的旅客較不友善。我們住了三天，最後爭取到住第二天後更換大毛巾一次。因日本的盥洗水可以飲用，所以未提供瓶裝水，另外，也沒見到飲用的熱水供應，所以無法自行泡茶或咖啡。

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025The owner is incredibly kind, and we really enjoyed our daily conversations with him before and after exploring Matsushima. The facilities were clean and pleasant, and the guest rooms are located on the first floor, while he and his wife live downstairs. The location was perfect, and the owner was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and other tips. A special thanks goes to him and his wife on our last day, when we had to be evacuated due to a tsunami warning. They took care of us and brought us to safety further inland. They made sure we stayed informed, drove us around to find food, and helped us find a place to sleep for the night. This experience truly reflects their warm hospitality. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Japan. (If you are into music i believe you will enjoy seeing his record collection) crazy 😁

Vraiment rien à part les portes qui claquent malgré la présence de vraie poignet pour les fermer délicatement ! Peut être sensibiliser les clients à ce sujet ?
