Domus Plaza

The view was beyond amazing, outside of both rooms that we had booked. There was a stunning view of the duomo, and we were close enough to hear live music every night in the plaza. It was at such a prime location for sightseeing positioned right outside the Duomo and exactly in between both the Uffizi and Galleria del’academia. We made several pitstops in between visiting locations because it was so convenient and we could cool off a bit in the air-conditioning, which was also amazing. There was even a phenomenal list of restaurant, grocery, Café, and bar recommendations, one of which we tried, and they served the best ravioli we have ever had. I could not recommend this place enough from the staff, the room, the location, the view; everything was perfect.

There was no elevator and we were on the top floor, but the struggle is beyond worth it.

When we arrived the sink in the bathroom was not usable as leaked so badly, there was no remote for the TV so could not use, there spare pillow and duvet in the wardrobes were not clean.

Fantastic location. Spacious and really clean. Staff were really helpful .

No lifts. Had to walk up 3 flights with our suitcases. Shower is very small . Very limited kitchen equipment. No kettle or oven. Our power switched off because we had too much on. It took a while to find out where the switch was to turn back on.

Definitely a room with a view! Just steps from the Duomo, this apartment was spotless, comfortable, and spacious enough for three guests. A perfect base for exploring the city

The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped, with air conditioning in the double bedroom and the kitchen/dining area. There wasn't an A/C unit in the single bedroom, but leaving the door open allowed the cool air to circulate effectively. As a light sleeper, I did notice some street noise at night due to the single-glazed windows. Most of the noise seemed to come from tourists pulling trolley bags rather than traffic. That said, the apartment's exceptionally central location means a certain level of city noise is to be expected, and being so close to the main attractions is a great advantage.

there were 3 flights of stairs we had to climb with our suitcase which isn’t the property’s fault with there being no elevator.

Trop anonyme, accueil mécanique de la clientèle, contacts par SMS uniquement. Escaliers très escarpés , mieux vaut venir sans valises avec un bagage ultra léger. Coût du parking du vehicule pour 24h exorbitant (non géré par l'hôtel) 86€ ! Quasiment le prix de la chambre.

Easy self check in, great location and very nice unit.

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect! The view of the Duomo from both bedrooms was incredible day and night. Close to the city center and walkable to anywhere in the city. Both bedrooms were very spacious - the largest of any places we stayed throughout Italy. The AC worked great. It was easy to communicate with the host and they were very attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

No complaints :) Just something to note: there is no elevator in the building and our Deluxe Room with Cathedral View was up 3 flights of stairs so it was a bit difficult getting our bags in/out. We knew this when booking so this is not a complaint but something to note if this is important to others.

Nous avons grandement apprécié le calme malgré le fait que l’on soit en plein centre ville, la terrasse est appréciable et la vue sur le duomo est magnifique ! Tout l’appartement est bien équipé en climatisation et la cuisine est fonctionnelle. L’appartement était propre et facile d’accès. Les hôtes sont discrets mais très réactifs au besoin. L’emplacement est idéal et c’est le gros point fort de cet appartement. Je recommande vivement, et j’espère que nous reviendrons chez Elena et Alessandro !

Ce n’était pas un problème pour nous mais à noter: l’appartement (celui avec terrasse privative) est au 3 éme étage sans ascenseur. Et la terrasse est située sur le toit avec un escalier très raide.

Locatia foarte buna, iesi din bloc si vezi Domul, camera curata si spațioasă, personalul prietenos, ne au ajutat cu toate informatiile de care am avut nevoie.

Nu pot spune ca ne a schimbat pararea despre cazare, insa e bine de stiut inainte ca este foarte galagie. La 7 suna primul clopot de la Dom si este galagie si de la restaurantele din jur. In rest, absolut nimic de obiectat.

No es negativo, pero considerar que no hay ascensores en este tipo de edificios por su diseño antiguo, el cual es su valor, realmente. Si vas con maleta grande, subir y bajar lleva su trabajo, pero viene con el encanto del lugar.

Location can not be better. 5 seconds to Duomo. I come from a medieval touristic town in Croatia and also live in the old town and know the pros and cons of the old buildings and old town overall, so I didnt mind hearing people in the morning passing thru the street or bells from a Cathedral. It is a part of life in old town and its charm. This is a renovated old flat and its beautiful. We were there for only one night but we would come back anytime.

Great location just steps away from the Duomo. The staff was lovely - they let us drop our bags early and check-in early since our train arrived before check-in time. We visited during a heat wave and the air conditioning worked very well. Free coffee/tea was included as well.

It was located closely to the duomo and many shops and restaurants. The air conditioning was incredible!

My only complaint was a smell of sewer once or twice a day that would come and go. This smell is all over Florence as well. Very minor complaint.

Great location!! Very spacious apartment. Would definitely stay again. It felt clean and comfortable.

Nothing that can be helped, during the night i was woken up several times by some other guests making a load of noise up the staircase. I had to go out and tell them to be quiet. Reassuring to have cameras and the owners number, to make them aware of this :)

Elena went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and wonderful. She responded right away to our questions - thank you!! The apartment was spacious, clean, beautiful, and perfect for our family of 3. The location by the Duomo is perfect - short walk from the train station and central for walking around the city and to major sites like the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Due to the proximity to the Duomo, we heard the June 4th holiday Catholic service and sounds of the priest, choir, and chimes - which made for an unexpected magical evening!

Aunque la habitación está en el piso 1 hay que subir a pie y si vas con maletas pesadas puede ser un problema. Quizás deberían advertirlo en la publicación.

Το κατάλυμα ήταν σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, ακριβώς απέναντι από τον Καθεδρικό Ναό. Ηταν πολύ ευρύχωρο και όμορφα διακοσμημένο. Ολα ήταν πεντακάθαρα και οι παροχές έκαναν ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη τη διαμονή (πολλές κάψουλες καφέ, τσάι, αναψυκτικά στο ψυγείο).

Το μόνο που θα περιέγραφα ως αρνητικό στο κατάλυμα είναι το γεγονός ότι δεν καθαρίζεται κατά την διάρκεια της διαμονής, ωστόσο αυτό είναι κάτι που γνωρίζαμε εκ των προτέρων. Ισως θα ήταν χρήσιμη η καθαριότητα - αλλαγή πετσετών κάθε 2 μέρες.

Perfect location, nice and spacious accommodation! Easy to find and to get in. Very well suitable for guests without heavy luggage, as there is no lift.

Air conditioning is toooo loud, actually you can’t sleep because of the heavy noise. We had to switch it off. And it is only June and not so hot at night, therefore it was possible to sleep without air conditioning, but in July it might be an issue. Also water flow in the shower is quite weak. For storage of the luggage after check out you have to pay 10 euro…

The location cannot be beat! You are literally steps away from the Duomo and plaza, and walking distance to everything. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great, and would 100% stay here again

Incredible location, just around the corner from the Duomo and the rest of that main basilica in Firenze. Suite was comfortable with a great bed, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was modern. We enjoyed our stay.
