Fue todo genial, tanto el sitio como el trato de la familia que vive ahí. Llegamos nuy pronto por la mañana, antes de la hora del chec-i y sin problema nos acomodo la habitacion para poder descansar un poco despues del vuelo, y luego nos ayudo a organizar actividades con gente local. La comida buenisima tambien, y nos lo hizo especial sin mucho picante. La habitación estaba limpia, el baño tambien y las camas tenían mosquitera. Ademas, era una preciosa cabaña en medio de la naturaleza, ideal para desconectar. Todo genial la verdad!

L'ospitalità e la gentilezza del proprietario. Sono andata da sola ed ero l'unica ospite in quell a occasione il proprietario si é completamente messo a mia disposizione concordando con me gli orari della cena e della colazione entrambe ottime. Mi ha accompagnato ovunque e mi ha dato utili consigli. L'alloggio é spartano e molto semplice é immerso nel verde ma al contempo vicino alla strada principale. Lo raccomando é stato un soggiorno meraviglioso di pace e relax . Ci vediamo presto✨

Positiv war die abgelegene Lage, das gute Essen und das bequeme Bett. Positiv auch, dass es lokales Essen gab und nicht die Unkultur des Continental Breakfast. Es gibt eine UK-style Steckdose und gutes Wlan. Wir hatten das nichtklimatisierte Zimmer mit Ventilator, der nachts ausgereicht hat (tagsüber hatten wir 35 Grad, nachts 26 Grad). Wegen Dengue waren wir wegen des Ausbruchs besorgt, es gab aber kaum/keine Mosquitos. Auf frühes Frühstück wegen Lions Rock oder spätes Dinner wegen Anreise ist die Unterkunft eingestellt. Zudem - nicht selbstverständlich in der Preisklasse - gibt es einen Tisch und einen Stuhl. Die Handtücher waren ebenfalls von sehr guter Qualität. Man kann aufgrund der großzügigen Terrasse sicher auch gut und gerne mal einen ganzen Tag in der Unterkunft mit Ausruhen und Lesen verplempern, auch der wilde Garten war nach unserem Geschmack.

Dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts, aber in der letzten Nacht hatten wir ein paar besonders rückständig-unreflektierte jugendliche Franzosen in der Etage über uns (die für eine Person gebucht und gezahlt haben, aber frecherweise zu dritt gekommen sind). Wegen der Hellhörigkeit und deren Lärms wurden wir am Schlafen gehindert. Es wurde uns eine Lösung angeboten, die das Problem gelöst hätte, noch besser wäre es aber, Hausregeln durchzusetzen, wenn renitente Gäste Regeln nicht beachten wollen. Zudem muss man wissen, dass man in Sigiriya abseits der Stadt nach Sonnenuntergang wegen Elefanten nicht draußen rumlaufen darf. D.h. die Tuktuk-Kosten müssen eingerechnet werden. Theoretisch wäre Lions Rock fußläufig, aber wegen der Temperaturen dürfte das nur etwas für Hartgesottene sein.

O quarto é mesmo muito simples e a limpeza deixa muito a desejar... Escolhemos este alojamento porque estava muito bem classificado e porque as fotos não demonstram claramente como é o quarto.

Ten relax a príroda vystihuje presne ten hotelový nápis... bolo tu naozaj nádherne, sme radi, že sme tu mohli stráviť pobyt 😇 majiteľ bol celý čas veľmi milý a príjemný, jedlo bolo vynikajúce a tá káva, to bolo niečo geniálne... všetci píšu o čaji, ale táto káva s domácim mliekom bol proste top zážitok a určite si vezmeme takuto kávu aj domov 😇 dokonca sme dostali nie len raňajky, ale aj večeru s obrovskými porciami, treba proste vyskúšať 😇

Endroit calme et authentique. Mahinde et sa famille sont adorables. La cuisine est excellente. généreuse et familiale. L'endroit est certes rustique, mais très propre. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Geweldige locatie zo midden in de jungle. Onverwacht mooi, terwijl het wat afgelegen licht. Mooi opgezet met een gebouw dat over 2 kamers beschikte, ontzettend mooi opgezet. Ook met het aparte gebouwtje dat dienst doet als ‘restaurant’.

Er is geen airco, dat zou fijn zijn geweest.

La struttura è immersa nella natura e ha un’atmosfera davvero affascinante. È stata realizzata con grande cura dal proprietario, il che la rende molto caratteristica e accogliente. La camera che avevamo prenotato era però piuttosto piccola e disponeva di pochissimo spazio per appoggiare o sistemare i propri effetti personali, fatta eccezione per un piccolo tavolino. Inoltre, durante il nostro soggiorno la stanza era molto calda e il ventilatore non riusciva a rinfrescarla adeguatamente, anche se probabilmente le temperature particolarmente afose di quei giorni hanno contribuito a questa situazione. Il proprietario è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a dare consigli e a proporre attività. Abbiamo anche pranzato presso la struttura e il cibo era davvero delizioso: lo consiglio vivamente. La struttura si trova in una zona piuttosto isolata; per questo motivo consiglio di affidarsi a un tuk-tuk locale, poiché l’app PickMe in quest’area non sempre funziona in modo affidabile.

Comfortable bed. Rustic in an idyllic kind of way. Everything you need to rest and unwind. Really friendly and helpful with lots of advice and help organising transport. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. The location is a short tuk tuk ride from Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. A little bit out of town, so nice and quiet.

We had a very calm and relaxed stay. The owner and his family are super friendly and helped us out with any of our requests. We can truly recommend this space for anyone visiting the area.

Naprostá pecka a super nejlepší. Krásný dům v přírodě. Musíte samozřejmě trošku vystoupit ze své komfortní zóny, ale prostě nature. Posezení před domem. Majitel úžasný, vstřícný. Doporučil a zařídil krásné výlety.

Nous avons été tres gentiment accueillis par Maesh et sa femme dans leur grande maison entourée de verdure. La chambre était confortable et le billard fort appréciable le soir. Possibilité de dîner sur place. Maesh nous a fait visiter son incroyable jardin, un vrai trésor !

Rien , tout était parfait

The host was incredibly helpful and friendly- he helped us whenever we needed it. On our first day we arrived late and he/ his wife made us noodles so we could have dinner and go to bed. On our last day we had to leave early and he got up before 6 and made sure that breakfast was ready for us. He provides cheap meals that are really good! The location is beautiful with lots of monkeys and sometimes elephants! Very close to Lion’s rock and the host had a tuktuk waiting outside for us at 5AM when we wanted to do the hike. Bed was comfortable and there was a mosquito net surrounding it which helped us a lot!

There was no AC in the room which we didn’t realise when we booked so was a bit hot. Location is slightly out of town so without getting a tuktuk your choices for dinner are limited as you can’t walk around in the dark thanks to the elephants in the area!

Hosts were wonderful, lots of great bird and animal spotting right by the property! A great spot to be living in nature.

"Relax Nature Villa" is a beautiful place surrounded by nature 🌿🛖. I must mention the owner. His name is Mahinda. He is a friendly and always helpful person. Their food is very delicious. They served us a lot of their traditional food. We did many activities they have. Elephant safari, traditional Ihum Piyum classes, watching the sunrise etc. The room is very clean. .So I recommend this place 100% to anyone who loves nature.

Ubytování odpovídá popisu. Je mimo centrum " v džungli". Majitel velmi příjemný a vstřícný. Vše splnilo naše očekávání.

Die Unterkunft war super schön gelegen. Man konnte dort schöne Wege entlang spazieren, es gab gute Restaurants in der Nähe und es ist nicht weit entfernt vom Pidurangala Rock. Das Zimmer war recht einfach, aber sauber und mit Ventilator. Wir haben unsere Sitzecke vor der Tür sehr geliebt! Der Besitzer war sehr zuvorkommend, stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wir konnten Fahrräder ausleihen, er hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht und alle Touren sowie die Weiterfahrt für uns organisiert. Ganz große Empfehlung für den Aufenthalt in Sigirya!

Famille très acceuillante et les repas proposés sont classiques et locaux. La chambre est confortable avec une salle de bain privée et surtout une petite terrasse très cosy. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Vous devez marcher 45min / 1h pour rejoindre le site Sigirya Rock Lion ou prendre un tuktuk. Pour ma part qui aime marcher cetait parfait.

Il n'y a pas d'eau chaude mais peut être que c'est noté dans la description.

Le staff très chaleureux et arrangeant en proposant un taxi pour venir nous chercher à l’aéroport. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. La chambre est sympathique avec tout le nécessaire.

L’adaptateur de la prise ne charge pas bien. Pas d’eau chaude. Paiement uniquement en cash pas de CB.

Amazing stay. We loved it absolutely. It was inside a lovely forest. And the host was amazing. The breakfast was delicious.

This was our first stop in Sri Lanka and we absolutely loved the place! It‘s in the middle of the nature, but the village with many bars and restaurants is not far away. The hosts were sooo friendly, we felt very very welcome. They did rent us a scooter and bicycles, we had a cooking class and just a very special time at their place. We got to know a lot about the local life there. Thank you for everything 🙏🏽

Die Lage im Dschungel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Viel Ruhe, aber auch viele Naturgeräusche. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, das Bett bequem. Die Dusche hat gut funktioniert, wenn auch mit kaltem Wasser. Die Familie ist super nett. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich. Man kann auch günstig Safaris buchen. Der Besitzer ist immer bereit zu helfen.

Aun que sepas que vas a dormir "en medio de la selva" se escuchan un montón los animales y no puedes descansar bien. Contraté una excursión a la lion rock con el hotel y me trajo a un guia que no hablaba ni una palabra de inglés... Me sentí engañado usando chatgpt para saber la historia de la excursión ya que el tipo no podia explicarme nada ni hizo el intento por ello. Como alojamiento no está mal aunq no pude dormir por el ruido pero es una putada que te jodan una actividad de ese calibre por ganarse unas pocas rupias

At first, we had planned to stay only one night in this place, but we decided to stay one more because we felt so good here. The accommodation is surrounded by nature. Every day we could see birds, monkeys, mongooses, lizards, and other wildlife around us. The whole structure is made of wood, the rooms are spacious and there is a mosquito net. The family provided us with soap, towels, toilet paper, and even breakfast included, all for a very low price — especially considering it’s close to Sigiriya, where everything usually costs a bit more. The breakfast we had was really delicious: the owner brought us a pot of milk tea, pancake, omelette, and fresh fruit. Everything was excellent. The family gave us information and helped us in every way they could. We felt really comfortable, we will definitely come back, and we recommend everyone to stop by.

It Is Simple, but might be one of thé best accommodation we experienced in Srí Lanka. Location Is So nice! Not Far from tourist And noisy places, you can enjoy nature. But thé best Is owner, who Is super friendly And nice person And makes this place even more special. He also helped us to organize our day trip. Thé food was tasty, serving we could't finish. WiFi was better then in aby hotel. Thé driver Anu, who spend a day with us was just great companion with positive attitude. If I could write a review fór him it would ve 10/10.

You cannot walk out at night and it's impossible to get a pick me ride. If staff are absent you can't get out or even get food. Many cockroaches in bathroom.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Straße direkt am Dschungel. In der Straße sind auch einige nette Restaurants. Man kann von dort zu Fuß zum Löwenfelsen laufen. Wir hatten ein einfaches, sauberes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad im oberen Stockwerk eines urigen Baumhauses mit Veranda. Natürlich darf man keinen großen Luxus erwarten, aber alles war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, und wir haben uns dabei sehr nett und interessant mit dem Besitzer unterhalten. Er ist schon älter, lässt aber das Organisatorische, das übers Internet laufen muss, durch seinen Sohn in Katar erledigen, was ganz hervorragend klappt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter!!

La RelaxNature Villa è stata una delle esperienze più autentiche e indimenticabili del nostro viaggio in Sri Lanka, è un’oasi di pace dove ci si sente davvero parte della natura. Il proprietario è stato eccezionale: sempre disponibile, ci ha accolti con calore e ci ha raccontato moltissimo su Sigiriya, sulla vita quotidiana e anche sulle difficoltà che deve affrontare, come gli animali selvatici che spesso danneggiano i raccolti. Una testimonianza preziosa che ci ha fatto riflettere sul turismo di massa che si sta sviluppando in quella zona e che rischia di far perdere a questi luoghi il loro fascino più autentico. Una notte abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere un elefante proprio davanti alla finestra: un momento magico e affascinante, ma allo stesso tempo una sfida per chi vive qui. Il soggiorno è stato reso ancora più speciale dal miglior rice & curry che abbiamo mangiato nel nostro viaggio in Sri Lanka, preparato dalla moglie del proprietario. Lasciamo qui un pezzetto di cuore e consigliamo davvero a chiunque di fermarsi in questo luogo che è reso ancora più unico dall’host.
