I love the blanket very much, it was very very nice. The bed was very comfortable, cozy and clean. The room and the whole hostel was clean. I love the kitchen too. The location is also good, very nice lovely and beautiful place to walk around, with fresh air, wow. And it is near the center. And the hostel itself is a beautiful lovely villa! I really enjoyed staying here!

Nothing to dislike

Very calm, clean and safe homestay. It provides all what needed from kitchen space with all appliances included to clean washroom with hot water. The beds are comfortable and clean sheets. The place is in a good location. Around 9 min walk to city center of Nuwara Elyia. The host helped me with all information needed. He also organised a tea plantation and water falls tour. He was very helpful. I could not ask for more!!🙏🏻

we only stayed one night unfortunately as it would been nice to spend more time there. it’s an old big house english style in the green. very beautiful. a lot of space. Our double twin room was nice! it was a bit empty because of the low season but it was nice.

we booked the room and the owner was away from a personal problem. he was kind to accept our request and ask a friend to help us… but the guy that came…. wow, it made us run away from the hostel. too many instructions and control freak attitude. Please owner don’t ask that guy to help you again. He’s not good with people, it’s too rigid and give strange vibes. oh my god! just don’t.

Location, staff, atmosphere, facilities. Owners are super cool friendly people. Peaceful location 5 minute walk from town.

Not far from town, it's a standalone house with beautiful rooms. Very clean and tidy, with hot water and air conditioning, plus a hairdryer. The host warmly introduced the nearby attractions. A pretty good stay.

工作人员似乎疯了 乱收费+态度恶劣 得理不饶人。自己管理有问题，指责客人。别人是来旅游的不是你给钱过来入住的。不是等你在这个地方才开张好吗sb一样。位置也一般。人到的时候已经爬山爬累了。booking之后退了500，booking之前多收费80卢比。这并不多但凭什么给你？丢水里也不会给你

Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire, le tuk tuk envoyé à la gare routière nous attendait, nous voulions visiter les plantations de thé dès notre arrivée, ce qui a été organisé en deux temps trois mouvements, bravo pour cette rapidité à bon prix avec un chauffeur de tuk tuk très sympathique. Idem pour notre taxi du lendemain. Hôtel sérieux , on recommande vivement

La verdad estaba todo muy limpio, el host era muy amable te explica todo y te ayuda en todo lo que necesitas. Muy amables. Está a unos 10 minutos andando no muy lejos.

Vibe Way is a very clean and cozy guesthouse close to town. The host Hushem is very welcoming and gives useful information on possible activities in the surroundings! He even picked us up from town since we arrived after sunset!

Place was clean and comfy. The manager was very informative. In fact he suggested a very good and time saving plan for us and we loved it.

Hôte pas très accueillant. Il a demandé le paiement à l'arrivée et souhait qu'on annule la réservation booking afin de ne pas avoir de frais de son côté. Nous supposons qu'il ne souhaitait pas qu'on ait de possibilité de mettre de commentaire au vu de l'état de la chambre. Nous ne l'avons plus revu y compris lors de notre départ. Au niveau de la chambre, une prise électrique fait des étincelles et lors était attachée avec un scotch. Le pommeau de douche tenait avec un élastique car il était cassé. Les bords de fenêtres noirs et lit pas propre, mais n'avait pas de punaise.

There Is no market, as Said in the title. The Place was Not so Clean and had some downstownside:the kitchen was not usable, the owner looks the Door at 11 pm so you Better be back on time, the livingroom has no light tò chill in the evening. I would not go back;)

We had a wonderful stay at Vibe Way in Nuwara Eliya. From the moment we arrived, Husham was extremely helpful and welcoming. His hospitality truly made a difference to our experience. He went out of his way to assist us with everything we needed and even helped arrange guidance for exploring the area, which was very useful. The location is at the bottom of a hill, making it easily accessible while still offering a peaceful and quiet environment. It’s a comfortable base to explore Nuwara Eliya and the surrounding attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was especially good — modern, neat, and equipped with all the essentials. One thing we truly appreciated was that they accommodated our early check-in without any hassle. After a long journey, this thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. Overall, Vibe Way offers great value for the price paid. It’s affordable, comfortable, and run by genuinely caring people. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in Nuwara Eliya with warm hospitality, this is definitely worth considering. We would happily stay here again.

Das Haus könnte echt gemütlich sein, müsste dafür aber renoviert werden. Der Gastgeber hat uns geholfen, die Zugfahrt nach Ella (z.Zt. nur teilweise fahrbar) zu organisieren. In der Gemeinschaftsküche Tee gratis und ein Kühlschrank.

Im Zimmer wenig Platz/Möbel, um Sachen auszupacken kein Licht zum Lesen im Wohnzimmer Im einen Zimmer ein total verranztes Kopfkissen in einem zerschlissenen Bezug (die anderen habe ich nicht angeschaut) Verbesserungsvorschlag: statt der Wäscheleinen einen Aufenthaltsbereich mit Sitzgelegenheit im Freien

Very clean, modern, owner is very organized and helpful, good wifi, good location, you walk down a not too steep nice street to town. There is a kettle, which is really great. Hot water in the shower.

Great place if you need a quiet non intrusive space. Maybe i ended up getting a room alone to myself because i landed on a day when there were no other guests. Beautiful property otherwise. Owner is very helpful and he gave me a walkthrough as soon as i reached.

We had a great stay at the Vibe Way. A tuktuk was waiting for us at the train station. The host welcome us warmly once we arrived. He explain us all the different things to do around, he was very helpful. The localisation is not far from the city center. We recommend !

Super helpful owner Husham for arranging the tuktuks to-fro train station & the tours to horton plains and tea plantations! Nice clean facilities and dorm bed. It's 10-15min walk to the busy city centre with a slight hill up but it makes for a quiet getaway from the main road. My tuktuk driver/guide Harshaka (arranged by the hostel) was amazing for both horton plains & tea plantations tour!

The host explained all the options at arrival and helped organising a tuktuk for the horton plains national park. The beds were very comfortable and the blanket was thick enough (wasn’t cold). You don’t get a towel so don’t forget to bring one. There’s a hairdryer you can use. It’s a small walk of 10-15mins from the bus station (I did it by foot but he can arrange a tuktuk) but the end is a bit uphill (just the last 50-80m.

I really enjoyed my stay at Vibe Way Hostel! It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to the main street of Nuwara Eliya. The staff are extremely helpful and responsive, both on WhatsApp and in person, and gave me a full overview of what you can do in the area and even told me which streets are best to walk at night.

Clean space, good, quiet location close to Grand Hotel and the city centre. Very nice staff who will give you advice on things to do in the area. They also arranged Tuktuk for me to and from the train for a fair price

The WiFi wasn’t always working

Great central location 10mins walk from town and right behind the Grand Hotel. Backyard and outdoor area was gorgeous and very pleasant to relax in. Host gave excellent local reccomendations and assisted in arranging a local driver for a fair price.

Worst shower of my life - water pressure non existant and showerhead broken. Not the most comfortable bed and cleaning of the bathroom could be improved.

The place is well located with pleasant staff, around 10-15 min walk from the city center. The owner is very kind and helpful, he explained in details things to do here with pros/cons of everything. Additionally, the hostel has very comfy beds and everything is kept really really clean. Definitely the best maintained place I visited in the country. Moreover, the owner offers advice how to get to the place and a free pickup from the bus station

He even drove me back to the bus station upon check out 🙏

Great place! The owner takes excellent care of his hotel and pays attention to every detail. He gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and visiting Horton Plains. He also arranged transportation for our travels around the region at great prices! When we were leaving the village, he even helped us with the bus routes, always focused on ensuring we got the best deal, even if it didn’t benefit him financially. The owner truly cares about his customers and wants them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and have a smooth holiday. I would definitely return if I visit Nuwara Eliya again!

Nice and quiet hostel - there is hot water and you can be in the city centre within 15 minutes. But the best thing was the host. He organised tours for us, drove us to the train station and even prepared a packed lunch for us on our departure day. We can highly recommend the hostel. It's a great choice if you are seeking a peaceful and quiet hostel.

It was a bit cold in the room. Even though there had warm duvets, we were freezing.

The hostel is a way from the city which may not be ideal for some but it was perfect for me. You are completely surrounded by nature and I saw different wildlife. There were also a lot of birds. The 4 room dorm had a great vibe. You can have breakfast on request. There are different room rates available. You can order food to be delivered to this place using pick me.

Guests are not permitted to use the kitchen appliances, not even the fridge. The owner (whilst being very nice and extremely knowledgeable about a whole range of topics) is a little 'ocd' so it sometimes felt like living at home with mum and dad watching over your shoulder. I stayed for a few nights and we got along well (I am also like this at home 😅)

Very nice hostel in a quiet part of town. The rooms were comfy and the common bathroom very clean. They have good common areas inside and outside. The host was welcoming and could help you organize attractions if you wanted to. We did an excursion to horton plains national park and a tea tour, which we would both recommend.

Accomodation is nice, there is a small terrasse with hammock. There are 6 beds in the dorm, but our host kept it at 4pax, so as it could be more confortable ar that time. Our host gave very efficiently any relevant détails & services to.organize our trip to Horton plains, Adam's peak etc..

Small detail : there is no personal socket in the dorm, just a power strip. Also, we could feel our host was a bit tensed during this stay, (maybe because he felt under pressure being alone managing the guesthouse at that time) : just let go !

The manager was nice

I booked this place because it had really good reviews but I was underwhelmed. The room was kind of just gross… and for the price I don’t think it was worth it. I’ve stayed in other places in Sri Lanka for 1/3rd of the price that were cleaner. It just felt damp, and not clean. I was pretty disappointed considering the steep price.

It's location is perfect, for some minutes walk from the center, in a calm and nice area. The staff is very helpful, you can sign up for trips by them to visit nearby attractions. The hostel is super clean and nicely maintained, there is a lovely living room, and hot water to shower. I felt so comfortable there that I extended my stay. :-)

He explains everything there is to see very clearly form the beginning, he’s straightforward and prevents any planning stress, with one WhatsApp he has a Tuktuk for you! Highly recommended!

One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, the owner really takes care and pride in the property you can tell. Nice and quiet in a really good area.

Only stayed one night but everything was perfect. Best shower I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka, even had a hair dryer which is a nice perk. The bed in the dorm was very comfy and night is very quiet. The house smells of incense and it’s super clean. It’s also a short walk from the centre. I got recommended a nice local restaurant for dinner and did a tour (waterfalls + tea plantation) in the morning before catching my train. 100% recommend

The hostel was very clean and about 15 minutes walking distance from the city center. The host was very nice and upon arrival gave me tips about the different tours he organizes and the restaurants to eat local good food for a reasonable price. I did the Tee plantation, waterfall and strawberry tour he organized. It was not expensive and the tuk tuk driver was very flexible and adjusted to our needs and requests. I would definitely stay over again.

Bed was super comfortable and clean, Husham gave me all the info on what to do and see on arrival which made it easy to navigate my short time in Nuwara Eliya. The tour guide had great English and I learnt a lot about the area and culture, as well as seeing beautiful sights. Shower was hot which I was so grateful for! Easy to walk to town!

It’s a clean and quiet hostel. They have family rooms and one dorm for 6 people. It’s just outside the busy centre and a nice walk to reach the hostel. The place is really clean and the host is making an effort to make your stay pleasant. The prices for the tours from the hostel are very reasonable and good value for your money. I spend three nights in the hostel, met nice people and had a great time

We only stayed for one night as a base for the trip to Horton Plains. The Host was very helpful with planning the trip and also gave us a lot of other tips. The room was very clean and suitable for one night. They have warm blankets, which are needed in this area.

Beds, rooms, living rooms, bathrooms, location, silence were good and liked it..

No handwash in bathroom and only single bathroom for all 8+ bunkers. No water filter - filter water. Asked to drink tap water. Or pay for water. No Bf - i dnt want breakfast but pure water was not given.. Thats basic.. I drank tap water. But i read about local news about drinking water. I was not sure. Heard for using tap water one guy fall sick in nuweraeliya. No towel given. And it was told kitchen is available. But there was no gas connection. It was removed. He was eager to collect money. Travellers will stay here, if they fall sick, its bad. There will be more solo travellers. Its bad to use tap water. "FunkBunk-By the rever" stay in Kandy was awesome. I am thankfull to them. I will never forget that place.

Really quiet location but close to the town centre, just a 10 min walk. The dorms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable! At night it gets cold in Nuwara Eliya but they give you good blankets to cover so it’s just perfect :) the owner will help you to organise tours and transfers and has lot of knowledge about the area

Perfect homestay! Hottest shower I’ve had in my whole 7 months of Asia travel and it stayed hot!!!! For the shower alone 10/10!! Beds very comfy and warm for night time, nice big room with 2 double beds and private bathroom. They do onsite laundry for cheap and not charge by individual Item which was a bonus, clothes line dry so next day all folded and at our door. The host organised pick up and drop off for the train station at a much cheaper price than an uber/tuktuk/pickme. So recommend organising with them. It cost us 2000 rupees in total for pickup and drop off as couple. Host provided list of information on what to do and tours. We booked the Horton park tour with the hostel and shared a van with two others that had checked in the same day to make it cheaper. The hike was so worth it. Total of 9kms and you get picked up at 5am. We also did the tea plantations and waterfall tour which I also recommend. Host can organise it all for you. I would absolutely stay here again. Host was absolutely amazing and he made sure we felt right at home. He is very good at communicating via WhatsApp and very responsive. The drivers he organised for our tours and train pick up were so nice so if you can a little tip will go along way.
