Nalin is echt de beste gastheer, zo vriendelijk. Locatie is lekker rustig in een mooie omgeving. Kamer was ook goed en netjes. We hebben nog niet eerder zo’n uitgebreid ontbijt gehad en ook nog lekker.

De druk van het water in de douche is aan de lage kant.

De rustige en groene locatie. Het uitgebreide ontbijt en de vriendelijke host. Het ligt iets buiten het centrum maar met 15 min lopen ben je in het centrum.

Der Name ist Programm. Eine super schöne Homestay-Unterkunft etwas außerhalb von Ella, weg vom Trubel der Stadt. Nalin ist ein super toller und zuvorkommender Host, der immer um das Wohlergehen seinen Gäste bedacht ist. Das Frühstück ist mega, egal ob Sri Lankesisch oder Kontinental (ich mochte Kontinental lieber, da bekommt man ein leckeres Omelet mit Gemüse). Er buchte uns auch jederzeit ein Tuk oder Taxi, das den Preis der Apps unterbot. Die Location mitten im Jungel ist perfekt zum Entspannen und runterkommen. Auch ist sie Unterkunft nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Ella entfernt. 10/10 , würde jederzeit wieder buchen!

The surroundings and location are amazing. Close to the center but still in the nature, it’s great. It’s very clean. The owner is amazing, very welcoming and super professional. The food is the best we had in our Sri Lanka trip. It’s a must do if you’re in Ella

Nalin really looked after us. The breakfast was awesome. The atmosphere is quiet, like being in a garden surrounded by nature and you can walk into town in 15 minutes. We loved it..

De lieve zorgzame eigenaar. Het ontbijt Zoveel en zo smaakvol en mooi opgemaakt. Diner hebben we er ook een keer gedaan Heerlijk . Wij hadden de kamer met balkon en een prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaar regelt een tuk tuk voor je als wilt.Geeft goede tips voor restaurants of wat te doen. Het is 12 min lopen naar het centrum En goed te doen. Als we weer gaan zou ik weer hier verblijven

The room is one of two, attached to the owners house. It is clean and compact. The bed was comfortable for me, and I slept well.

I can not understand how this and other properties in Sri Lanka are getting such high reviews. Come on people lets help each other out and give honest representations. I was contacted by the owner for a time of arrival, and I informed him 3pm, to which he replied OK. On arrival at 3.10, the room was not ready, and we had to sit outside for 40 minutes while it was prepared. Then we were informed there was a problem with water pressure, and we could only shower with a dribble from the hand-held shower. The owner said the plumber would come at 6 pm. We then walked into Ella (20 mins) for dinner. On our return, the plumber had not been, and the owner said he would come at 7.30 in the morning and could we unlock our door! I told him this would NOT be happening. On top of this, there are gaps around the doors. The bathroom window is filthy, does not shut, and has no insect screen. Consequently, we ended up with a large number of mosquitoes in the room. Luckily, it had a net for the bed. The property is along a 300 metre concrete path, which ends abruptly, and the last 30 metres are down a steep, uneven rocky path of around 30 to 40% gradient. Yes, the owner is friendly, almost too friendly, but this is in no way an excellent or superb property. The owner did give us a 2000 rupees discount.

Nalin is a great Host! Extremely friendly and ready to help at all times. The room with the small balcony has a stunning view!

Everything !!! This was a real find and we would recommend it highly to anyone wanting a ‘get away from it all’ experience but then also be a 5 min Tuktuk ride from the hustle and bustle of Ella town. We were welcomed with a fab smoothy drink and it just carried on being fab! The owner can’t help enough - checking you have all the information, making suggestions and helping anyway he can. The bed has to be one of the best we have stayed in, coupled with a very clean and spacious room. The breakfast exceeded itself and it kept us going for the day. Thank you for looking after us , especially helping with my ‘cold’ symptoms and we would highly recommend this accommodation!!

Mi é piaciuto tutto. Nalin è un ragazzo sveglio, gentile, che parla un ottimo inglese e sa fare il suo lavoro magistralmente. Ci ha accolti e trattato benissimo, é un ottimo cuoco quindi consiglio di farsi preparare la cena da lui, é stata una delle migliori del nostro viaggio in Sri Lanka. Parlando della camera, forse tra tutte le guest house che abbiamo girato in 14 giorni la più confortevole, se passate ad Ella dovete andare da lui. Non c'è 11 altrimenti glielo darei.

El alojamiento es el mejor en el que hemos estado y el mejor desayuno. En plena naturaleza Nalin hace que la estancia sea perfecta!

Great place to stay, loved how it was within walking distance of Ella, but still the surroundings are very quiet and peacefull. Host is very kind, breakfast is great!

Peaceful location, easy access to train station, feels like a bit of un-touristy Ella but our host had great contacts for tuk tuks. Friendly, informative and generous host. Incredible breakfast, you have to have it, we were so full. Fruit is delicious.

Well, breakfast and dinner were literally amazing, I think ones of the best meals we had all over Sri Lanka. It is immersed in the nature in a very nice place. There are only two rooms and this keeps a very relaxed and calm atmosphere. The room and the bathroom are amazing, big and with all the necessary. View is special, I will never forget it. And the host is super kind and helpful.

Not a problem for us but be aware that the place is a little bit far away (15/20min) to the center and that the street that leads to the place is very steep.

Ella Secret Paradise is a great place to stay when in Ella. Walkable to town and in a beautiful green shaded area. Nalin the owner has put alot of thought and effort into the rooms. Very well designed and furnished. Even has a bar fridge. Beautiful bedding. Breakfast was also extremely good. Nalin was very helpful when we needed restaurant suggestions, tuk tuk transport etc

Das Secret Paradise ist etwas abseits gelegen, dafür ist der Blick und die Ruhe wirklich schön. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet, das Bad funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Gastgeber ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit! Er gibt einem Tipps, organisiert TukTuk Fahrten für einen. Außerdem gibt er sich sehr viel Mühe mit dem Frühstück: man hat verschiedene Optionen und alles wird frisch zubereitet. Wirklich toll!

Alles super, man sollte jedoch wissen, dass man etwas abseits liegt, braucht zwar nicht lange ins Zentrum rein aber der Weg zur Unterkunft ist am Ende und bei Dunkelheit etwas langsamer zu gehen.

De ligging en de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar

Dit was voor ons een dikke 10! Een vriendelijke, sociale host die ons meteen verwelkomt met een frisse juice. We kwamen vroeger als gepland aan en ook dat was geen probleem, alleen moest de kamer nog schoongemaakt worden. De kamer had alles wat we nodig hadden; goed bed, verschillende kastjes en banken voor onze spullen en vooral een handige, propere badkamer. De eerste met een muurtje waardoor de ruimte bij het toilet niet nat wordt! Ook daar was vanalles voorzien van zeep tot conditioner, oorstaafjes,... Het ontbijt de dagsnadien was heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid. We kregen als extra buffalo yoghurt met honing. Super lekker! Jammer dat we hier niet langer konden blijven.

De weg er naartoe heeft zo zijn moeilijkheden. Je neemt een kleine, smalle zijweg waar je hoopt niemand tegen te komen. Je parkeert op het einde van deze weg en doet het laatste stijle stuk te voet. Maar ook hier hielp onze host met het dragen van de zakken.

Nalin is the best host! He knows a lot about Ella and all the activities, restaurants etc. He also made the best Sri Lankan breakfast with a lot of choices. Really the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. We loved it! Clean room, location 10-15 minutes walking from the centre. Everything was amazing!

Tout ! L'endroit est incroyable, avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. L'endroit est vraiment un petit paradis, seulement 2 chambres entourées d'un jardin très luxuriant rien de tel pour se ressourcer. La chambre est spacieuse tout comme la salle de bain, très bien équipées et décorées. La literie est d'une très bonne qualité, cela donne envie de faire des grasses matinées. Le breakfast est digne d'un vrai déjeuner, délicieux ! Enfin notre hôte est d'une gentillesse rare, aux petits soins.

Si tratta di un host privato che affitta due stanze della sua casa. La posizione è bella, immersa nella natura, ci vogliono circa 15 minuti a piedi per raggiungere il centro, ma ci sono molti tuk tuk volendo. Una delle due stanze è molto carina, l’altra un po’ più basica ma entrambe molto pulite. L’host è molto gentile e prepara una colazione abbondante e deliziosa

Il proprietario è molto accogliente e disponibile. La struttura è immersa nel verde. Stanza semplice ma funzionale.

Un po' di umidità nell'angolo della stanza. Difficoltà di raggiungimento della struttura. Se siete con la vostra automobile non è fruibile. Per raggiungere la struttura vanno fatti duecento metri percorribili con tuk tuk o a piedi e l'ultima parte solo a piedi in un accesso abbastanza pendente e non facile. È possibile arrivare nel paese a piedi ma la strada è abbastanza pericolosa quindi, almeno di sera, ci vuole ci vuole un tuk tuk. Il proprietario però velocemente ti chiama il mezzo per arrivare.

Prachtige ligging, niet ver van t centrum. Geweldig ontbijt, alles met n persoonlijke touch. Zeer behulpzame eigenaar!

Zoals al velen reviews aangegeven is Ella Secret Paradise echt verbluffend goed. De lieve host Nalin deed er alles aan om het ons naar ons zin te maken. De foto’s op Booking.com geven niet goed weer hoe mooi deze plek is. Dat komt omdat het vrijwel onmogelijk is om dit op één foto vast te leggen. Het huis bevindt zich middenin de jungle op 15 minuten lopen van Ella. Met de tuktuk kost het 500 LKR en ben je er in 5 minuten. De tuin staat vol met prachtige planten en bomen en je kunt er een wandeling maken over een klein pad door de jungle. De bedden waren heerlijk met goede klamboes, de badkamer zeer schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd op het terras en was het beste ontbijt van onze reis. Een enorme aanrader voor iedereen die van rust en natuur houd.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in Ella Secret Paradise. De kamer was ruim en mooi schoon, het bed lag comfortabel en ook de badkamer was erg netjes met een goede douche. De eigenaar is een ontzettend aardige en amicale man die goed Engels spreekt en een fantastisch lekker ontbijt voor je klaarmaakt. Je kunt kiezen uit een continentaal ontbijt of een traditioneel ontbijt uit Sri Lanka. Beide opties zijn aan te raden, want het wordt met zorg bereid en ziet er ook nog eens super goed uit. Verder geeft hij tips over de activiteiten die er in de buurt te doen zijn en hoe je het best je dag kunt indelen. En als je een scooter wilt huren of een tuktuk wilt laten komen om je van A naar B te brengen, regelt de eigenaar dat allemaal voor je. Kortom; een dikke 10.

Cet établissement porte bien son nom. Un paradis secret bien caché au milieu de la jungle. Un hôte au petit soin qui nous a préparé des petits déjeuners copieux et surtout délicieux ! La chambre est décorée avec soin et très fonctionnelle. Le centre ville d'Ella à 15 minutes à pied est très accessible et animé. Les randonnées sont accessibles à pied également depuis le logement. Ce séjour était parfait. Nous avons regretté de ne pas être restés plus longtemps...

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad bij Ella secret Paradise. De eigenaar is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie ligt 15 minuutjes van het centrum af en je hebt prachtig uitzicht hier. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en erg lekker. Ik kan deze plek iedereen aanraden.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Ella, away from the noise and traffic that can be found in the centre. Yet it is very close to the centre - just a 5 minute tuktuk ride away.

Super fijn verblijf! Nalin is fantastisch, hij maakt een heerlijk ontbijt voor je en helpt je verder met alles. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Lekker bed, goede douche. Het ligt buiten het centrum, maar het is niet ver, wel heerlijk rustig.

We had a fantastic stay at Ella Secret Paradise. Only 10 mins walk to the centre but nestled away in a cozy quiet location. Nalin, the owner is really amazing. He went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. He made the most delicious breakfast and it was nice to have different options for every day. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up way beyond lunch! The room itself was spacious, clean and comfy! It was so nice being surrounded by nature. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We hope to be back again soon!

De locatie is prachtig verscholen in het bos, maar toch maar op 10 minuutjes lopen van het centrum. De kamers zijn schoon en superfijn, ontbijt is goed en de host zeer behulpzaam. Alles was goed!

Wir hatten drei wunderschöne Tage in Ella in dieser besonderen Umgebung. Es war einfach herrlich! Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und sehr praktisch- alles vorhanden! Die Ruhe ist herrlich- man hört lediglich die Stimmen des Urwaldes. Der Gastgeber hat uns für die Tage einen Roller organisiert. Das war total praktisch- in wenigen Minuten hat man den Trubel von Ella um sich. Außerdem haben wir einen Kochkurs bei seiner Schwester besucht- sehr zu empfehlen!!! Und dann… das Frühstück!!! Es war einfach großartig! Jeden Morgen gab es etwas leckeres um in den Tag zu starten. Am letzten Morgen gab es ein leckeres Carepaket, da wir schon früh zum Zug mussten. Wirklich eines meiner liebsten Unterkünfte unserer Reise. ♥️

Wir haben nichts gefunden

Les chambres et salles de bain sont propres et la literie impeccable avec la clim. L’environnement est au calme et agréable à moins de 15mn à pied du centre de Ella. Il y a une pente un peu raide pour se rendre au logement mais cela ne nous a absolument pas gêné. Notre hôte se soucis de nos besoins et est très sympathique. Je fini par le petit déjeuner qui est le meilleur que l’on ait eu sur nos 12 jours au Sri Lanka. Vraiment très bon et copieux : pancake bananes ou coco, fromage blanc au miel, des frises eggs, des fruits variés, chocolat chaud, café.

Il faut prévoir un peu de marge en donnant l’horaire du petit déj 😁

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft in angenehm ruhiger Lage etwas außerhalb des Ortes – ideal zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Host: unglaublich nett, herzlich und stets bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück war fantastisch – liebevoll zubereitet, abwechslungsreich und richtig lecker. Bei unserer sehr zeitigen Abreise bekamen wir sogar noch ein tolles Lunch-Paket mit auf den Weg. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt – eine echte Wohlfühloase!

Es gab nichts auszusetzen – wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Fußweg von etwa 15 Minuten zum Ortskern war für uns absolut machbar, allerdings geht es stellenweise recht steil bergauf und bergab. Wer nicht ganz so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte das vorab wissen oder gegebenenfalls auf ein Tuk Tuk zurückgreifen.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, am Ende einer Straße und ist umgeben von Teefeldern. Der Garten ist paradiesisch und das geräumige und gut ausgestattete Zimmer hat eine Terrasse auf der das Frühstück serviert wird. Nalin ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und er bereitet ein fantastisches Frühstück zu, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Unbedingt den gemischten Saft probieren!

De naam doet waar, secret paradijs… we hebben een heel aangenaam verblijf gehad. Een heel rustige locatie midden in de natuur, op 15 min. wandelen van Ella Mainstreet. Nalin is een top gastheer die ons het beste van Ella en zijn verblijf heeft laten zien! Heel verzorgde kamer met zeep etc ter beschikking 😇 En dan hebben we nog niets over het ontbijt gezegd! Dit was alsook fenomenaal. Blijf zo verder doen Nalin !

Without a doubt Ella Secret Paradise will be in our hearts forever. We're already planning what a return will look like in the future. For a start it will be more than one night's stay in this perfectly named beautiful hidden gem. The room and amenities were all lovely, as described and as expected but the pictures do not convey just how stunning the surroundings are. Naln's choice in decor made the room feel high end while his welcome makes you feel like a part of the family (but he does his job and leaves you be) He was ready to help us from the station if we needed the help (we had a driver) The breakfast has already been reviewed by others and I promise it is as every bit as they say. Without a doubt, the best breakfast I have EVER had in my 53 years on planet earth. Fresh fruit platter or smoothie (my chap is not a fruit fan at all, but he was chugging on the smoothie much to my surprise). The surroundings made the experience all the better, with birds and other animal calls, accompanying our meal.

Naln and his hospitality are simply the best I've encountered. If you haven't booked to stay here yet, please don't hesitate. Yes, it's up and down very steep slopes but I have every faith that Naln will find a way for you to make it safely to and from Ella Secret Paradise.

Als ik iets moet noemen is het de stijle weg ernaar toe, maar dat is denk ik overal in Ella :)

Geweldig! Hele aardige eigenaar die goed Engels spreekt. Mooie schone kamer in de tiuin, op 10 minuten lopen van het drukke Ella. Het ontbijt is echt niet normaal keuze uit verschillende opties vers fruit yogurt met honing roti, egg hopper je kan kiezen. Als je de kans hebt boek dan zeker deze locatie hij heeft maar twee kamers dus zit snel vol. Beste ontbijt in heel Sri Lanka.

Wonderful host who bent over backwards to help us and ensure we had a great time. Lovely facilities in a quiet yet central location.

We hebben heel erg genoten van deze fijne accommodatie en de gastvrijheid van Naln! Het was een oase van rust en toch dichtbij het centrum. Naln regelde en betaalde een tuktuk om ons naar het appartement te laten brengen, dacht met ons mee over leuke dingen om te doen en het ontbijt én avondeten waren uitgebreid en heel lekker. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven!

Jolie chambre au calme dans magnifique jardin. Hôte aux petits soins qui nous a commandé les tuktuks et donné de judicieux conseils pour se rendre au Lipton seat. Repas très bon.

Attention les boissons dans le frigo sont payantes et non indiqué au départ. Nous avons été surpris car ce n’était pas le cas dans d’autres guesthouses. Accès en pente un peu difficile avec la pluie si la motricité est restreinte.

De eigenaar helpt je met alles en erg vriendelijk. Hij geeft allen mogelijkheden die je kan doen die dag en wat het beste is.

Rundum ein toller Aufenthalt - von einem gemütlichen und sehr sauberen Zimmer mit vielen kleinen durchdachten Dingen (Mückennetz, Shampoo, Wasser, Föhn, Regenschirm, Tee / Kaffee) über sehr leckeres reichhaltiges Essen bis hin zu einem sehr sympathischen und hilfsbereitem Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

The place is serene, calm, tranquil, a perfect place for a perfect holiday. The nature is beautiful. The place is located on the top of muntain, surrounded on one side by tea plantations and other side by lush green forest. We couldn’t stop admiring the beautify of the place. The breakfast is the best ever we have eaten with multiple courses, including great tea, fresh mixed fruit juice, great authentic srilankan breakfast and finishing with yoghurt with honey. The host is great, helping, caring and always asking if we need something. He went out of way to help us in booking our travels, providing next locations and suggesting us about ever other things we asked. Summing up, cool place, cool guy and highly recommended to chose this one over all the other options. Cheers buddy :)

La struttura, a circa 20 min a piedi dal centro di Ella, è immersa nel verde, tra piantagioni di tè e alberi tropicali. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. La colazione, molto ricca e varia, viene servita nel piacevole dehor esterno immerso nella natura

l'orario indicato dall'host per la colazione è abbastanza indicativo, nessun problema se non si ha fretta, in caso contrario è bene tenerne conto

Die Unterkunft war schön, das drumherum hat uns gut gefallen mit der Natur. Frühstück war auch lecker und wurde immer abgesprochen was man gerne möchte.

Die Betten waren etwas feucht, was aber ein generelles Problem in Ella ist.

Absolutnie wyjątkowe położenie-w otoczeniu zachwycającej przyrody i śpiewu ptaków. Bardzo pomocny gospodarz, przygotowywał dla nas pyszne śniadania i pomagał w zorganizowaniu transportu. Doradzał ciekawe atrakcje w okolicy.

We loved our stay here! Breakfast was delicious and very generous portions! Host was so lovely and helpful, suggesting plans to do and places to eat etc. Room was very comfortable and there is a very cute cat that visited us on the terrace often :) location is slightly further away from the main town but makes the stay very peaceful. And easy to walk in 15 mins or tuk tuk in a few mins. Would definitely recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Naln looked after us throughout. Charming guy. Very thoughtful and helpful. The place is well named, a perfect hidden oasis. Simple, comfortable rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens set within the hills a short tuk-tuk ride, or a 10-15 min walk from bustling Ella.

Ella's Secret Paradise has everything you need. You wake up each morning surrounded by nature, birds chirping and are provided the best breakfast of Sri Lanka. The place is quiet, but only a brief walk away from the city centre of Ella. Would highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at Ella secret paradise was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Nalin is really friendly and welcoming. The house is in a unique location, right in the heart of the jungle. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone visiting the area.

The owner really took great care of us and was really helpful! The room was clean , tidy and even better than the pictures! Nestled in the nature is the perfect spot for relaxation!

Cool spot. Our room has the nice balcony which we were really happy about. Nalin is a good dude and makes a great breakfast. Really recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast with roti, dahl curry and coconut sambal. Short tuk tuk ride to/from the main town so convenient location away from the noise. There is an awesome friendly cat as well that we called Mr. Biscuits. He will appreciate your lap if you offer it for cuddles.

Bit of construction going on during working hours next door but not really enough of an issue to dampen the stay.

Nalin war der beste Gastgeber, den wir auf unserer Reise hatten! Danke für das unglaublich leckere Frühstück und die Hilfe bei unseren Planungen! Das Zimmer ist mitten im Grünen, daher muss man sich auch auf das ein oder andere kleine Tierchen im Zimmer bzw hauptsächlich im Bad einstellen aber das war für uns nicht schlimm. Das Moskitonetz war super. Die Unterkunft liegt nicht ganz zentral aber mit einem Tuktuk ist man in 5 Minuten im Geschehen (oder ca. 15 Min. zu Fuß).

It is really a great stay. The host is very hospitable and very helpful. The hospitality, the breakfast, and the communications, the whole experience is comparable of a five star hotel. Very quite with natural sound. You can hear the crickets sound in the evening and birds sound in the morning. And I saw a squirrel after breakfast(Really a Secret Paradise).

Very clean and lovely private accommodation. Located between tea plantations and the centre is a short walk away (you can also take a tuk tuk for 2-3 minutes). The owner of the house is very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Our favourite place and we will definitely come back :) We recommend it!

Es war einfach nur herrlich. Nalin kümmert sich wirklich um alles und macht das beste Frühstück, das wir auf unserer Reise hatten mit verschiedensten Optionen. Wirklich besonders: die Smoothies. Die Unterkunft liegt 10 Gehminuten von der Hauptstraße in Ella entfernt und ist dadurch sehr ruhig. Glühwürmchen und Blick in die Sterne inklusive. Wir haben uns unproblematisch von Nalin einen Roller geliehen, womit man sehr entspannt unterwegs ist - kann ich nur empfehlen. Also wirklich eine top Unterkunft mit herausragenden Gastgeber. Vielen Dank!

We had an amazing stay here for 3 nights. The location is perfect. It´s near the city and the train station. The host gave us a lot of recommendations on what to do around Ella and even provided us with a good scooter. We had delicious, large portion of local breakfast. It´s an easy 10/10 recommendation.

房间干净，床品干净，卫生间很大，设计也OK，整体的住宿感觉还是不错，位置较偏，如果从火车站步行前往有些吃力，要上坡下坡，因为下雨，路比较滑。坐出租车也很容易错过上坡的路口。如果是旅行路过此处不太适宜选择，如果是度假，周围环境比较好，安静，茶山环绕，2间客房，门前都有一个小yard，吃早餐很惬意。

不提供饮用水，本没有问题，但因为住宿周围空空如也，距离商店都很远，所以只能与店家购买饮用水，130卢比的瓶装水卖250卢比，这点有些接受不了，是在整个斯里兰卡遇到的唯一一家不提供饮用水还卖高价的酒店，钱不是主要的，但做法影响居住心情。早餐做的不错，但价钱依然堪比科伦坡4星酒店。所以我不会推荐朋友居住。

Supermooie plek net wat buiten Ella, maar op loopafstand. Je waant je in de jungle. Luxe kamer, goed muskietennet. Beste ontbijt in Sri Lanka. En antwoord op al je vragen. Ella is een heel leuke plaats. We hebben ervan genoten!

Niks viel tegen, echt mooi. Tip: pick me werkt niet in Ella. De markt van tuktuks en taxi's is in handen van plaatselijke groepen. Toch via pick me proberen is zinloos, de chauffeurs komen niet of ze worden weggejaagd. Vraag vervoer via de eigenaar, dat gaat helemaal prima!

Notre hote a été très gentil et au petit soin avec nous. Il nous a commandé des tuk tuk. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux Les 2 chambres étaient propres. bien équipée. Le logement est dans la nature. Au calme. Il est situé à 1km du centre très animé d Ella.

Le chemin à l arrivé peut surprendre. mais les tuk tuk et voiture y viennent.

Eine sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Ella ist sehr touristisch und laut. Deshalb ist es um so schöner in dieser Ruhe-Oase dem Trubel zu entkommen. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und kann sehr gut englisch. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, man bekommt auch viel Obst und einen sehr leckeren Smoothie. Alles sehr zu empfehlen!

Beautiful and calm place to stay, 10 minutes walk into City Center Ella. It was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far. The owner is very nice and helpful and made the best Sri Lankien Breakfast! It was very clean and the bed really cozy. Jungle Feeling at its best! Thank you for everything! Next time we surely come back.

Superb very full

This little guesthouse is nestled in a quiet area of Ella - it’s 15mins walk away from the town itself but we loved this about it. The room was big and clean, there was a kettle with coffee and tea and a mini fridge which came in very handy. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and is happy to give advice or help whichever way he can. We’d stay here again.

Een hele rustige locatie in het drukke Ella. De gastheer is super behulpzaam en helpt je met alles. Het ontbijt is het lekkerste wat we hebben gehad tijdens onze reis. Ook is het super schoon.

Fantastic hideaway right in the countryside but within easy reach of the station and the town. Room was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean and host was lovely and incredibly helpful. Welcome drinks and breakfast were exceptionally good

Mitten im Grünen in traumhafter Kulisse genossen wir einen der beiden Bungalows von Nalin, der uns nicht nur persönlich am Bahnhof abholte, sondern mit zahlreichen Tipps unseren Aufenthalt bereicherte und uns ein umfangreiches Frühstück auf unserer Terrasse servierte. Bezaubernd und unvergesslich bleibt der fußläufige Nachhauseweg nach dem Abendessen - Glühwürmchen über den Teefeldern, soweit das Auge reicht!

Apartament położony nieco dalej od hałaśliwego centrum, w oazie ciszy i zieleni. Czysty, przestronny z szerokim tarasem i bajecznym widokiem. Dostaliśmy kawę na powitanie oraz przepyszne, bogate śniadanie z rana. Host zadbał o wszystkie nasze potrzeby. Zorganizował transport, po zapoznaniu się z naszymi preferencjami wskazał mogące nas interesować atrakcje. Był stale gotowy do pomocy. To była podróż po Sri Lance, więc niemal każdego dnia zmienialiśmy miejsce pobytu. Ze wszystkich odwiedzonych to nie było najdroższe, ale zdecydowanie najlepsze.

It’s a very stylish room with nice touches and a balcony with a nice aspect. You can hear chants in the evening. A really good breakfast. Nalin was very hospitable and tried to help me out in any way he could. I had an early train ride from Ella, at 6.40 am on my last day. Nalin organised a tuk tuk to pick me up and also packed me an excellent breakfast to have on the train. A really great stay.

Es gab kein Shampoo, keinen Fön, keine Klimaanlage. Das Wegkommen von dort ist sehr schwierig, nur zu einem überteuerten Preis.

So much to like about this place. Beautiful location, lovely clean room, hot showers, amazing terrace overlooking a tropical valley, fabulous breakfasts, really friendly and helpful host. A real oasis of calm and serenity, but only a short walk from the centre of Ella village. Highly recommended

We liked everything

Super Frühstück, welches auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert wird. Gute Lage zur Erkundung der Umgebung. Super lieber und hilfsbereiter Host. Mitten im Dschungel, manchmal kommt ein Pfau oder ein Affe vorbei.

Anreise war bei Dunkelheit und Regen, daher hat unser Fahrer den Weg nicht unbedingt gut gefunden, hat aber letztendlich geklappt.
