Cosy and warm room for our stay, so handy to the town

It was abit unfortunate having a really bright street light on the path right outside the room and the wood slats let the light through, I like to have a dark room for sleeping.

A very pleasant stay, very well located and a charming host. Will definitely be visiting again.

No ability to clean dishes and utensils.

The very best location in Greytown. The property was beautifully presented, and very elegant. Host Wendy was outstanding in all respects of our stay, we were in Greytown on a house purchasing mission and Wendy kindly assembled a lot of local information and gave us valuable guidance on the local market which was most appreciated.

Breakfast prep area was too cluttered, needs shelving or cupboard storage to free up bench space.

We recently spent four nights at Tregandale and found the accommodation of very high standard. It was a perfect location in the lovely town of Greytown where we could use our bikes. Our host Wendy made us feel very welcome and we would highly recommend a stay at Tregandale.

Wonderful place! Highly recommended. We enjoyed a time spending here!

What a beautiful stay we had at Wendy and Tony’s. The garden is beautiful and the room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is a very short 5 minute walk to the township and close to local wineries. Wendy was very helpful with her local knowledge advising places of interest to visit and the best eateries. They have a very quiet peaceful setting for a relaxing stay. We definitely highly recommend this property!

Wendy was very friendly and helpful she had lots of information about the restaurants and activities that were on offer. The accommodation was clean fresh welcoming tidy and she even had cake and chocolate for us when we arrived highly recommend and wish to thank wendy and tony for everything they did to make our holiday perfect 😊

Pristine, tastefully furnished, set in a beautiful garden. Calm, soft colours in the decor. Very peaceful and private surroundings. Convenient safe parking on-site. Close to the amenities in Greytown, with its cafes and lovely shops. Delicious homebaking and a beautiful vase of garden roses added a special welcoming touch. Lots of wardrobe space and two luggage stands made for convenient unpacking. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Great room and excellent host

The peace and quiet within the garden and the modern furnishings within the room. It was warm, the ceiling fan was appreciated. Really nice to sit outside overlooking the garden. Wendy very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations of restaurants.

There was nothing we didn't like

Fabulous location for exploring the Greytown Christmas Festival - 4 min walk into town. A large room off the end of the main house with bathroom, separate toilet and kitchenette. Private and quiet.

Walking lane next to room with bright lighting. Did stream through the shutters a little much and I like sleeping in darkness

A very comfortable, warm, and inviting space, beautifully decorated. There were lovely little touches like the home baking that made me feel like a welcome guest (the spirit of manaakitanga). Wendy was very friendly and professional and offered good eating recommendations. I'd highly recommend Tregandale.

The room was clean, tidy, and very close to the centre of town. The owners were super friendly, and the location while quiet and private was easy to find and had off-street parking

Fabulous little room - host gave us our privacy but also looked after us so well. She contacted me immediately to let e know I had left something behind and then looked after this for me until we picked them up on our way home. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay so much.

Owners were awesome. Property was exceptional and location was great very easy to walk into town and back. Bed was extremely comfortable. Had a lovely relaxing stay. Very peaceful spot.

I think the internet is patchy and felt that perhaps they could have done with extender for better reception. Had to rely on hotspot from my phone 50% of the time. But this is just a very minor issue compared to the lovely place itself.

The place was beautiful and quiet, a great place to rest and was very comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and left good guides for the town. Bed was extremely comfortable and we fell asleep quickly.

For the while we were at the accommodation, the Wifi was not great and the Small TV didn't pick up with Wifi, making it impossible to put a movie/show on for the evening.

I liked everything, I would definetly go again.

There was nothing I didnt like, maybe not being able to have a bath, but that was due to water restrictions.

The beautiful host Wendy! I absolutely loved my stay at Tregandale. Wendy was so welcoming and hospitable. The property, grounds and finishes in the room were immaculate and I wish I could have stayed for longer!

The room's decor was elegant, relaxing, warm, comfortable and pristine. Good quality bed linen and towels. Spotless shower/toilet. A selection of tea and coffee is available along with milk and a sample of home baking was also provided on arrival. Cutlery, plates, cups, glassware and cleaning stuff was provided, with a kettle, coffee-pod machine and toaster. The room looks out onto a pleasant garden area, the location is very quiet, despite being within two minutes walking distance into town. We really enjoyed staying and Wendy was a lovely host too. We'll stay here again next time we're in Greytown.

Nothing big really. The TV is a tad small and the sound is tinny because of that, but we saw that on the photos when booking so we took our laptop and streamed movies/shows on that which worked well for us.

Lovely clean and comfortable unit, excellent location being central but quiet, welcoming hosts who left me some yummy home baking. Beautiful gardens with a private spot to sit in outside.

The room was decorated with quality Furnishings and linen, adequate space for suitcases and wardrobe hanging. The bathroom was very clean and toiletries were of a high standard. Muffins on our arrival was a nice touch.
