Homestay vicino al lago di Kandy, raggiungibile anche a piedi. Camera ampia e pulitissima con una bellissima vista. Bagno grande e spazioso. Colazione super abbondante. La famiglia è super gentile e disponibile.

The room was very spacious and clean, bathroom was very nice and provided toiletries as well as a hairdryer.

Lovely location which is a short walk from Kandy city centre but feels calm and away from the city. Very clean comfortable room. Jaye is a great host and couldn’t be more helpful with any queries. The provided breakfast has to be requested in advance and was lovely and a good price.

Personal más distante que en otros alojamientos de Sri Lanka. Más parecido a un hotel que a una guest house. No invita a poder preguntar dudas sobre qué visitar y cómo.

Camera pulitissima e spaziosa! Jaye é stato un host molto disponibile e ci ha fornito il tranfer per la nostra meta sucessiva. L'alloggio dista neanche 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Ottima anche la colazione.

Amazing room! Extremely clean, very comfortable and spacious. Jay is a really nice and kind guy. 10 min walk from everything around the city.

Jaye was very helpful in arranging good-priced transport to our next location and sorting discounted dance show tickets. Breakfast was lovely, big portions. Fast WiFi, no issues streaming shows. Room was comfortable, the warm shower was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far!

V simple but clean, cool and well located

While the room was clean, the bedsheet and blanket were "just fairly clean". The distance from city centre is only around a km.

The location and entrance to rooms are genuinely not good. The property is on a hill and the road/path to the property is not a good one, particularly, in the rain season with pools of water on the way. The entrance to the property is steep down and not suitable for one with luggage and not so fit people.

We had a wonderful stay at Jaye's Homestay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Great hospitality, a delicious breakfast, and excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jaye’s Homestay. Our room was newly refurbished, comfortable and had everything we needed! The view overlooking Kandy was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunset and monkeys playing! We had a delicious breakfast every morning and Jaye’s hospitality was fantastic. He answered all our questions about the local area and recommended things for us to do. We are renting a tuk tuk and we were able to park it at Jaye’s which was very convenient for us. We would love to come back to visit again one day.

Excellent value for money. The host was very friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a short stay, including hot water, a hairdryer, and complimentary drinking water. We really appreciated the attention to detail and would happily recommend this place.

Misschien wel de meest schone/ nieuwere kamer die we tot nu toe hebben gehad en dan de prijs nog achterwege gelaten! Heerlijk naast het centrum, dus wij zijn gewoon gaan lopen vanaf de homestay. We hebben onze eigen tuk iets verder van de entree geparkeerd want daar was wat meer ruimte. Ondanks dat we geen uitzicht hadden bij onze kamer was dit meer dan top voor 1 nachtje in Kandy! Tot slot ook nog vriendelijke mensen die graag meedenken!

Sehr sauberes, großes Zimmer mit geräumigem Bad. Klimaanlage und WLAN haben top funktioniert. Es gab warmes Wasser und die Dusche war abgeschlossen und mit kräftigem Wasserstrahl. Jaye ist auch sehr nett und war jederzeit für Fragen verfügbar. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Lage ist leicht am Berg, aber durch Kandys Lage bedingt, man ist trotzdem schnell im Stadtzentrum und kann alles gut erlaufen. Alles in allem vollkommene Empfehlung!

Schönes und sauberes Homestay mit freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgebern. Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe zur Innenstadt. Leckeres Frühstück mit schöner Aussicht über die Stadt.

Fabulous accommodation. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. We particularly loved the balcony. It was a great location too, a nice walking distance from the main city. Jaye was a great host and we would highly recommend.

Great value for money. Very safe place for solo travellers. Very quiet and peaceful homestay on the hill within nature. Beautiful view overlooking the Buddha statue. A caring and friendly place to land with a really genuine, helpful and lovely family.

Die Lage ist super, zental aber nicht mitten im Trubel. Jaye idt ein sehr sympathischer und kommunikativer Gastgeber, der gerne mit Tipps weiterhilft. Frühstück war auch sehr gut. :)

Great location a short walk from the lake and Temple of the tooth. Very clean rooms with a beautiful view. Beds were large and comfortable. AC and wifi very effective. Showers large and enclosed, with hot water. Great value for money and friendly family running the Homestay.

Le prix est bon marché, donc aucun souci avec le rapport qualité prix. Le service de blanchisserie était très bon marché aussi.

Il est difficile pour moi de comprendre les notes élevées de l'établissement jusqu'à présent. Les locataires précédents ont loué la vue. Oui, mais uniquement si on est à l'avant de l'établissement. Sinon, la chambre est assez basique, sans anti-moustiques. J'avais loué pour 1 personne. Nous sommes arrivés à 2. Nous n'avions donc pas de 2e serviette de bain, ce qui est logique. Par contre, in"y avait pas de shower-gel. Il n'y avait pas non plus de savon d'évier. Et quand nous avons demandé "towels and soap", nous n'avons pas reçu. J'avais un urgent besoin de blanchisserie en vue de la suite de mon voyage. J'ai donc demandé un laundry service. Ce n'était pas possible, il fallait un certain nombre de kilos, sinon ce n'était pas profitable. J'ai insisté en disant qu'ils pouvaient me charger jusqu'à 100 kilos, mais que cette blanchisserie était essentielle pour moi. Il a fallj insister, discuter, parler au mari au téphonr, bref une perte de temps interminable avant qu'is n'acceptent de prendre mon linge en charge. Finalement, ils ont fait payer ce service, 1000 roupies, bref une somme dérisoire. J'aurais préféré payer 10000 roupies, mais ne pas perdre 1 heure à devoir insister. Bref, ce logement n'a malheureusement pas répondu à mes attentes, malgré le petit prix.

Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war perfekt. Wir hatten das Sri Lankische Frühstück. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich toll.

Ruhige Lage abseits der Stadtmitte, Zentrum erreichbar in 15min zu Fuß, schönes Zimmer und Bad

Jaye was very friendly and helpful. We had nice conversations with him during breakfast. Other than requiring a climb from Kandy Lake, the location was convenient and had nice views. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jaye's Homestay. The location was perfect for exploring Kandy. A short walk down the hill bought you out at the lake and all the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also situated high enough up the hill to escape all the noise in the evenings. We had beautiful views from our room and balcony overlooking Kandy and the Buddha on the hill. We enjoyed spending some downtime relaxing watching so many birds and monkeys while nestled amongst beautiful gardens and towering trees. The room was large and clean with the best shower we have had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. There is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan or continental. Both were beautifully prepared and tasty. Jaye was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed conversations and his company at breakfast each morning. He was very helpful in assisting organising tours and transport. I would highly recommend this homestay to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy.

位置就在湖区附近，这是阳光房，一般在山附近都是挺潮的这个特别好，景色棒棒的，还有，夜灯，吹风机，床品特别舒服，我在斯里兰卡用床品最舒服的，但是一定注意不要开门，因为有猴子，在这有蚊帐，但是蚂蚁会进入开门的话，打tuktuk你自己要记得在哪里下去，特别近但是打车有时候当地人也找费劲，在山上↑他们地图还绕远，其实特别近去湖区几分钟，老板英语特别好，刷卡也可以，阿姨还帮我砍榴莲我们一起吃，老板妈妈很热情

Alles Sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ruhige Lage. Man sollte wissen Kandy liegt im Gebirgstal dort sind also ringsrum Hänge an denen die Hotels/Pensionen gebaut sind, somit muss man immer irgendwie bergauf oder Berg runter. Wem das nicht gefällt sollte dort nicht übernachten. Ist aber fußläufig alles in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen.

Wenn man mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug anreist ist das Parken etwas schwierig aber möglich.

Sehr moderne Ausstattung, sowohl Zimmer als auch Bad. Jaye ist super nett, gibt hilfreiche Tipps und spricht sehr gut englisch. Toller Blick über Kandy.

Tipp: Vorher nach dem Preis für‘s Frühstück fragen! Wir fanden es etwas teuer, allerdings war es auch sehr üppig.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in Kandy. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Das große Badezimmer mit warmem Wasser war ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Durch die Lage am Berg hat man eine tolle Aussicht, trotzdem sind die Stadt und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schöne saubere Unterkunft im Grünen mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man ist außerhalb des Trubels aber kann in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß ins Stadt Zentrum kommen. Vor allem die Sauberkeit war wirklich super. Man hat sich richtig wohl gefühlt.

Our stay at Jaye’s was great, clean room and bathroom, air-conditioned and Mosquito net provided. It’s up the hill from the centre of the city, so quieter and has lovely views, but still only a ten minute walk from the lake and the Temple of the Tooth. The breakfast was very good and Jaye was happy to advise regarding tourist attractions and transport.

Locatie, rustig gelegen, ruime badkamer met een heerlijke douche, uitermate vriendelijke gastheer die op verzoek een heerlijk ontbijt serveerde...

Het bed was voor ons iets te smal. Desalniettemin hebben we een uitstekend verblijf genoten...

Schönes Homestay über Kandy. Ruhig und im Grünen! Nicht so weit vom Centrum! Jay super Gastgeber der uns sehr gut unterhalten hat. Lokales Frühstück reichlich und richtig gut. Zimmer mit Bergblick sehr zu empfehlen.Schoener Balkon um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.

Eigentlich nix. Ab und an weht Rauch von Nachbarn rüber. Auch Hunde hat man gehört . Ist aber normal in Sri Lanka!

We had a wonderful and very pleasant stay at Jaye's Homestay. Jaye gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the room, explaining everything. The room is well-maintained and clean, as is the bathroom, where the shower—rare in Sri Lanka—is a spacious, separate cubicle. The view from the balcony is fantastic, offering a beautiful panorama of the city and the Big Buddha. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and plentiful. Jaye was very attentive to our individual requests for the following day. He was always ready to help and fulfilled every wish. The city center is easily reachable on foot, but due to the rather steep incline, we ordered for a tuk-tuk. We had a wonderful time with Jaye, enjoyed our conversations, and received helpful tips and information. Thank you so much for the lovely days and the pleasant stay.

The room is new, very well equipped and tastefully furnished. It was great to have a kettle with tea and coffee. The bathroom was a real joy with a great shower. Very beautiful view through the large bay window, day and night. Jaye is very friendly and he does his best to help if neaded. I really recommend making a stop here.

Het was verder lopen naar het centrum dan dat Booking had aangegeven. Het was er druk met auto’s en TukTuks niet fijn om daar ‘s avonds te lopen.
