We stayed at Boyne View House to attend a concert at Slane. I had phoned ahead to ask was it OK to arrive a bit earlier to drop off bags and park our car. The hosts went above and beyond to help us get transport into Trim amd then on to the concert as we did not know the area. The facilities were outstanding from the fully equipped kitchen, essentials for breakfast and seperate living room area and bedroom.

Es war alles wunderbar. Wir bekamen sogar alles für ein Frühstück ins Apartment gestellt. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht, aber wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

The cottage we stayed in was like a five star hotel. Beautiful. Looked brand new. High quality appliances and furnishings. Our hostess was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Wish we could have stayed a week.

The property is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed and was lovelier than we could have imagined or expected! They have thought of everything, the attention to detail is just unbelievable and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! You will also wake up and be able to look out on their gorgeous farm and hear some moos and baaas too!

There is nothing we didn’t love, we just wish we could have stayed longer!

The chalet is a mini-house on a farm just outside of Trim. There is an open space which includes living space, eating area, and kitchen. We opted for a single bedroom but were put in a two bedroom. One bedroom was ensuite while the other had access to the common bath. The host was very attentive and made sure we were set up for the night. Wished we could have spent two nights here because it was very relaxing.

The instant hot water heater located in the kitchen was quite loud when hot water was running. Other than that, everything was very nice.

Great little apartment! Wish we could have stayed longer. We were ready for some rest after traveling around Ireland. So peaceful. Our Hostess was very so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Absolutely stunning location away from everything. The decor the cleanliness the kitchen was fully equipped and the owners left fresh milk eggs bread and some jams for our breakfast such a lovely thing to do.

I normally don't write reviews, but Boyneview House self-catering accommodation is just exceptional. We arrived at our accommodation on Friday, 15th of August 2025, for a family reunion. A very pleasant and warm lady of the house met us and wecomed us. She had the curtains drawn for us to keep the accommodation cool as it was a particularly hot evening. Deirdre said it was the smallest of the lodges, but by anyone's standards, it was indeed very spacious and spotless. The accommodation was very well equipped from all electrical appliances, cooking utilities, ample towels, a first aid kit, and well maintained outdoor spaces. The kitchen was also well stocked with milk ,bread tea ,jams butter, and lovely fresh eggs, so we certainly enjoyed that! A few features we took particularly notice of ,the large windows opened out slightly, which meant accommodation could be safety ventilation for the day if unoccupied. The outside space was beautiful, and the decking table ,chairs, and the potted plants were fabulous. Other guests were also enjoying their stay, and everyone was very friendly ,it was almost like a community. A final note we took our dog and he too enjoyed his stay with the beautiful walk up the drive which is more than 1km. It is most welcome to have an accommodation of this standard that is so dog friendly. We would certainly without reservation Boyneview House, and we wish the family continued success. They deserve it.

The perfect accommodation in a peaceful location. Scenery is just superb. Hosts were exceptional,left bread,milk,jam,butter and marmalade for us to enjoy and we sure did 😋 Homegrown plums and apples were delicious and my children loved to see the tractors busy at work.

Excellent little home to stay in especially if the weather is good very spacious has everything you could want in it amd not to far to get into trim if you need to.

The host gave us a warm welcome and even left us some homemade jam. I have to praise how well they hosted and received us. The nature around the property, as well as the ranch that belongs to it, is beautifully maintained. The property is neat and clean.

Very clean. Owner welcomed us on arrival and showed us everything. Our accommodation was very smart and bright. They even provided a ramp to the entrance as one of us has mobility problems.

“What I didn’t like about my stay was that my 11-month-old picked up a few flies from the floor. I only noticed them because I saw her putting something in her mouth. When I went over quickly to check, I saw there were flies on the floor. She had also dropped her soother under the sofa, and when I bent down to pick it up, I found some old photographs from previous guests, which made me question how thoroughly the place is cleaned.”

Beautiful location, lovely cows to greet you, two dogs to pat and some jams, bread and eggs for breakfast. The most comfortable bed too, clean and a luxe bathroom with exhaust fan.

We couldn’t figure out the sensor on the bathroom’s exhaust fan. It was the only thing - everything else was perfection.

It was very quiet. It was lovely and spacious even with 3 dogs. It had everything we needed. Staff were so kind and helpful.

The Lodge was very comfortable in a rural setting. The bed was very comfortable and the living area spacious. I didn't expect any breakfast but we were pleased to discover eggs were provided for us to cook breakfast.

The Lodge was warm with comfortable beds, and we were given a helpful welcome pack on arrival. Our hosts were very accommodating. Well kept grounds with views over fields.

Very little we did not like. Would have liked a plastic glass for use in the shower room. Some guidance for those things that are acceptable for recycling would be good. It seems that recycling can be more restricted in some areas than we are used to. A chair in the bedroom would be helpful too.

Loved the quality and ambience of the cottage, the high quality of the materials, the cleanliness and comfy bed was very satisfying.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Quiet and rural but a great spot to go explore the Boyne Valley. Our trip was for one night and to be honest I was sorry it wasn't for longer. Definitely will be back for a few nights next time and to explore what Meath has to offer

Lovely farm environment with a spacious clean space. Very quiet and just wonderful place to relax, walk and enjoy Trim which was a short distance away. The kitchen is well equipped, bed comfortable. The 2 bedroom units have a spacious living room.

We stayed in the beautiful Rose Cottage - beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, so comfortable, and every detail thought of…. incredible value. A short drive to the town and castle. Loved having the cows and sheep roaming about. Love this place! I have returned for a second time and was not disappointed. In my opinion, this is the best place to stay prior to a Dublin flight because you get a restful night sleep and final peaceful stay in the beautiful Irish countryside.

It's a really beautiful location on the outskirts of Trim. The room was spotlessly clean and luxuriously furnished. There was complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Deirdre and Liam were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you both. We'll be back!

Excellent hosts, very helpful with recommendations for visit to Trim, breakfast provisions very welcome as had just flown in it Dublin. Everything brand new, modern interior, in charming traditional building. Nice location, only 4km out of town but lovely farm setting with green fields surrounding.

It is spacious cottage with fully equipped kitchen. Very cozy and gives home comfort away from home. It is perfect for couples looking for quiet relaxed stay.

There is nothing to dislike. We did discover the taps on the bath were the wrong way round. It was a pity it wasn't mentioned on arrival as our daughter wasted time thinking the water needed to heat.

Property was beautiful An hour drive from Dublin perfect setting- gotta get out of the city - this is the perfect spot The accommodations were fantastic and both our hosts were terrific!! We will definitely be back - this was the kids favourite spot other than ashford castle!!
