Mary and Tony were excellent hosts. The place is beautiful and Mary is a lovely lady. My wife really enjoyed her conversations with Mary. Hope to be back when I visit Ireland again.

In walking distance to Trim Castle and other sites and to restaurants. The hostess was very friendly and willing to get you anything you needed. I wanted porridge for breakfast not the usual menu and she made it just for me. Beds were very comfortable. Room was quiet.

Mary was a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Felt like a home away from home stay, and met members of their lovely family. The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and cooked fresh. Location was lovely and a short walk to the town.

Close proximity to the River Walk and Trim Castle. We chose to utilize the private off street parking and just walk everywhere. Was about a mile to Trim Castle via the River Walk. Was amazingly comfortable. Everything was provided. The shower pressure was great, soap, conditioner, shampoo, water bottles, and don’t get me started on the breakfast. A full Irish breakfast was provided, tomatoes, fried eggs, homemade bread, bacon, sausage, pudding, oh, toast, yogurt, granola, fruit, coffee, tea…and the host was beyond amazing. We exchanged hugs and in just one night, we felt like family.

We had a wonderful stay in Knightsbrook Guesthouse and Mary and Tony couldn't do enough for us. The house was beautiful and breakfast was perfect. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again and we would highly recommend it.

We loved everything. We’re attending for a wedding with my friend close to the guesthouse and the owner Mary and her husband was amazing. The room was lovely, good size and clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Mary went above and beyond to look after us. Even she did a bit of surprise for my friend 50th birthday as it happened the same day as the wedding. They made us feel like home. Definitely we will be back. Thank you😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Knightsbrook Guesthouse! Mary and Tony are wonderful people and their home is quite lovely and spacious. It is situated within walking distance of many of the attractions in town such as Trim Castle and pubs. Our room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was made to order, accommodating our food allergies. Our hosts were a lot of fun and very helpful in planning our evening. As Trim is only 40 minutes from the Dublin airport, so this was the perfect place to stay on our last night in Ireland!! Magical!

Absolutely fabulous guest house with the most amazing hosts, Mary & Tony, who could not do enough for you! Absolutely beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean & comfortable with the most amazing breakfast served with genuine kindness! There are many in hospitality management that could learn a thing or two by coming to stay here fot quality & training purposes!

Mary nous accueille dans sa maison cosy avec le sourire, sa gentillesse et son amabilité sont vraiement un plus. La chambre est calme et propre et la localisation est super car cela permet d'emprunter la promenade champetre qui meme au centre ville. De plus les petits dejeuners sont EXTRAORDINAIRES, les meilleurs de tout notre sejour en Irlande. Bref je recommande fortement cette maison.

Warum ist die Bewertungsskala auf 10 begrenzt? Wir hatten einen unfassbar tollen Aufenthalt bei Mary und Tony. Tolles Zimmer mit Balkon, super bequeme Betten, alles war äußerst geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet, sowohl das Zimmer, als auch das Bad. Bei Ankunft standen 2 Flaschen Wasser auf unserem Zimmer. Mary ist unglaublich. Sie umsorgt ihre Gäste so liebevoll, zaubert ein Frühstück nach Wunsch ... alles was das Herz begehrt (full irish, Brot, Marmeladen, frisches Obst, Joghurt, Müsli, Saft). Ein Kaffeevollautomat steht im Esszimmer, sowie etliche Sorten Tee. Wir habend uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Vielen, lieben Dank an Mary und Tony ... am Ende unseres Urlaubs habt ihr uns den Abschied von Irland noch schwerer gemacht. Aber wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

The hostess was exceptional, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our purposes. We could easily walk to sites and into town.

I'd give a 12 rating if I could. The most gracious host we've ever had in a B&B. Very good breakfast. Beautiful home.

Tony and Mary gave us a very warm welcome. The neighborhood was lovely. Our ensuite room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Location was an easy drive to Dublin Airport.

The House is in a great spot for us. It’s not right in downtown, but a pleasant stroll away. Ms Mary was so sweet and very accommodating. Her breakfast was perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

We recently stayed at this guesthouse when attending a wedding in Knightsbrook hotel. Mary and her husband were extremely helpful, even dropping us down to the hotel so we didn’t have to walk in the rain. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were spacious and comfy.

Friendly hostess, clean and spacious bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, enough to choose from and a fair amount on the plate. Absolutely a place I'd recommend.

A pity that there weren't some chairs to put your clothes on and a bit short in space to put somewhere in the bathroom for towels and personal stuff.

Mary was the consummate host, friendly and personable. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The 30ish minute walk to town along the River Boyne was lovely during the non-rainy day, but probably a little too far at night.

What a fantastic place to stay in the beauty town of Trim. We came in for the NFL game in Dublin and to see some of the sites in Ireland. A wonderful lady named Mary runs this and is the best host you can ask for, serving delicious breakfast and offering many helpful tips to enjoy her town and the rest of Ireland. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, you can’t find better than the Knightsbrook Guesthouse.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in, Mary the host was excellent. The room contained everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning also excellent.

Mooi B&B in Trim. Mary, de gastvrouw, is zeer betrokken en zorgde ervoor dat we niets tekort kwamen. We bezochten Newgrange en Trim Castle, een echte aanrader met de met gegidste rondleidingen. Vanuit het B&B loopt een mooi wandelpad langs de rivier naar het dorpscentrum.

Had a lovely stay at this Guesthouse, Mary could not do enough for us, and as some of the other reviews have said she is defiantly a feeder. She was always on hand to offer us tea, coffee or toast which was lovely after a long day and the breakfast she rustled up was gorgeous, fresh and hot. She advised us on the best restaurants, (The Stock House was exceptional) and advised us on a walk down the Canal to trim Castle (a must) via the Marcie Regan pub, a 17th Century quaint little watering hole. Overall an exceptional B&B, very clean and very comfy, a home from home

It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring Trim and the surrounding area

Mary was a fantastic host! She enjoys her customers and will try to overfeed you 😁. There are good walking trails and sidewalks leading into the town right over the hedge. Please note that Marcie Regan's bar is quite near so leave your car and start strolling.

The room was a very nice size with a large comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The shower was large and powerful too. The house was a short 20 minute walk into Trim centre or you can take the slightly longer scenic walk along the river and take in all the medieval ruins along the way which was very pleasant. Mary was an excellent host and cooked us an amazing breakfast. There was even a wide variety of other bits including fruits, yogurts and cereals if we wanted with multiple refills of tea and coffee, we felt very spoilt at breakfast and well looked after. Tony very kindly gave us a lift to the castle when the weather was bad which was very much appreciated too.

I arrived just before 9.00pm. After showing me to my room, Mary made me a very welcome pot of tea and provided a few treats with it. The room and bathroom were spotless. Extremely comfortable bed, if you had forgotten any toiletries there was no shortage of them. For breakfast, a great choice of fresh fruit,yoghurt, cereal. But the Irish Breakfast was fantastic and will keep you going for most of the day. Lovely house and Mary was more than helpful and friendly, would highly recommend it and hopefully I'll make a return visit.

Lovely family run B&B. Great place to stay perfect for visiting Trim Castle and Newgrange. Proprietors are lovely people and breakfast was quite nice.

So many things. Mary was a lovely caring hostess who provided us with wonderful breakfasts and offers or team or coffee anytime. The room was superb with lots of space and a nice deck to step out onto. While we didn't use the gardens they were beautifully manicured with lovely peaceful seating areas. The location itself was very convenient with a history filled walking trail nearby all along the Boyne to the centre of Trim. Must be one of the best surviving medieval castles in Ireland. It was also convenient base to visit New Grange and then the airport for flight.

Location was ideal for bus access (across the street!) for one hour ride to Dublin. Also within 45 minutes of Hill of Tara and Bru na Boinne....incredible historic sites!! Most memorable was Mary's welcome to us. She was like everyone's favorite grandmother caring for our every need...snacks for the trip, sandwiches for plan trip home, and delicious breakfasts each morning. A day in Trim with a tour of the castle and walks along the river exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend to all!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Knightsbrook Guesthouse. The room was nicely decorated and cosy. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Mary really went out of her way to accommodate our breakfast needs! We would definitely recommend this guesthouse, and we shall be returning at some point in the near future.

Stayed here for two nights - Mary and Tony were excellent hosts, very friendly, always eager to assist, provided good dining and sightdeeing recommendations and directions to various sites. And we certainly weren't hungry after breakfast which had numerous delicious options. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location just across the road from the River Walk which led past numerous ruins to the castle and into the heart of Trim.

A warm welcome and lots of advice on where to eat and visit. Lovely accommodation, clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast. It was an easy walk into Trim, the Castle Tour was very good.

The owner who greeted us was exceptionally hospitable, helpful, and friendly. He even offered to drop us off in town so we could enjoy ourselves at a pub without having to worry about driving back. The shower was excellent with very high pressure. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend this B&B and would look forward to staying there next time we visit Ireland. Also, the steakhouse in Trim was OUTSTANDING! Would definitely recommend the au gratin garlic potatoes as a side and sticky toffee pudding. The steak was great too. I'm generally not a fan of sticky toffee pudding but the steakhouse gets it from a local bakery that has won awards for this dessert. This was the best meal we had in Ireland!! The only disappointing part was that we didn't arrive earlier to enjoy our time Trim and had to leave early to get to the airport.

This was truly a fabulous place to stay.

I absolutely loved our stay. The most welcoming people I've ever met. We were having car trouble and needed to check in early. We were met by the most friendliest people. Not only did they allow us to check in early, but they also dropped us to the wedding venue we were going to. Fabulous rooms and tastiest breakfast. I couldn't find any fault with our stay. I would definitely recommend it and would also stay again. 💯

This B&B is exceptional. The rooms and facilities are very comfortable and provide the traveler all possible amenities. The breakfast is fantastic. One feels like coming home to loving parents. I became ill during our stay and the owners attended to me as if I were their daughter. I don't have enough words to describe the exceptional attention one receives at this property. I recommend this B&B highly and would love to come back!
