Night light in the bathroom , laundry powder , toys / puzzles / books in the single room , fresh bread , juice , milk , butter , jam , marmalade , yoghurt , cereal & eggs - so very thoughtful & kind. Shower pressure is amazing , beds are very comfortable , warm home with huge bifold windows in every room for summer , has an A/C unit and wall heater. Thankyou!!

The house was spotlessly clean, plenty of bedding for colder nights, the shower is wonderful, extremely comfortable stay.

Reviewed May 10, 2026I thought the house was perfect for us, especially if you are travelling from abroad. Sometimes the last thing you want is to be in another hotel room or being un able to fully relax, and coming into this place was so nice after a long trip and to have it all to yourself was amazing. It has everything you need and only minutes from the beach and shops. Merill was so accommodating and nice. It was obvious she went above and beyond to make the place a 10/10.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026The house was close to the beach and within a short driving distance to a good 4 Square store. The bed was comfortable and had more blankets should the weather get cooler. The tv was great, shower was hot and strong and the kitchen was well equipped with microwave and hot plates.
Was a little noisy at night with road noise from the highway but it was quiet later.

1. Arrived for a wedding and elderly parents were looking after children and not staying. however host living next door came to talk to us twice, once when I was in shower and told my elderly parents they needed to pay extra $50 night to stay (we’re not staying) and asked us to check out earlier than the booking stayed. Really intrusive! People want privacy when they stay! 2. Sheets need to be hot washed! Sheets didn’t feel or smell very clean. Need a sanitizing hot wash. Would be great having cotton duvet covers, rather than sweaty polyester. 3. Mould in the shower around edges. 4. Found a dirty ear plug under the bed. 5. Long hair found around the juice bottle in the fridge. Just needed better attention to detail for cleaning.

The mattress on the queen bed was extremely hard, we both woke up with very sore backs. We notice that this had been mentioned more than once in their visitors book. Hopefully they will do something about this because it will put us off rebooking.

It has absolutely everything you need with some lovely extras such as the beautifully packaged condiments. Beds were great. Roomy space with nice furniture. Washing machine in the cottage. The first aid kit was a thoughtful addition.

Nothing particularly wrong, but a pathway to the steps would prevent the wet being tracked into the house. Obviously not an issue in summer.
